I would have a hard time recommending this company to somebody. They installed our AC unit last year and left our attic door in a complete mess. It now sags down and multiple screws have come out of it. I brought this up after we had the unit installed, during our fall and spring services, and have been calling about it multiple times for months now. No one ever calls me back or has been out here to fix my attic. They are happy to keep charging me monthly but when you need something fixed that was done incorrectly, they are nowhere to be found.

We called to see why one room in the house was warmer. Another company told us our air conditioner unit wasn’t big enough. Andrew looked and wasn’t satisfied that he had all the options. He called in Johnny. They found a solution that was a lot less than a new unit. I cannot stress how impressed I am with how ethical this company is compared to others. I use them for both air/heat and plumbing. They will deliver! Kudos to Andrew for going the extra mile for us. Johnny is extremely knowledgeable.

While I appreciated them being able to come out the same day, their prices were super expensive. It took about an hour and a half for them to fix the wax ring on our toilet and and repair a blockage. $1400 for about 90 minutes of work Would not use again. The plumber was nice and polite but I could have done without him sharing all of his opinions about the COVID vaccine.

With places like Strittmatter it makes you want to try messing with stuff you have no experience working on HVAC to avoid getting ripped off. I got charged $99 because I had 1 wire that broke off from ring terminal so 15 seconds after getting a 20 cent ring terminal my ac was fixed and I was charged an additional $29 for a diagnosis for a grand total of $128 to install a 20 cent ring terminal.

I question the validity of all these 5 star reviews when my daughters experience was far from 5 stars. Yet, in 2 weeks, and for no apparent reason, her 1 star review has yet to post. Im putting this here to see if it will show up and also to let others know, despite all these great reviews, not everyone has a good experience, youre just not seeing all the negative ones

I called Strittmatter for a second opinion hoping to get a more honest opinion about my AC system and the condition it is in, and that is exactly what I got! Strittmatter not only had sent someone out the very next morning but the service was above and beyond all of my expectations. Installed 2 Ac units one of them started leaking. They came out and glued the outside of the pipe to stop the leak. (Never fixed water damage) A year after The warranty was up it started leaking again. They want to charge a service fee to fix their repair.During install they left ac lines dangling every where. I called them back out to fix and they came out and fixed. Service techs left mud everywhere. guess they showed me their workmanship then!

While the problem i had was a quick and easy fix, and he inspected everything and looked for further issues or things to watch out for. I have always used Strittmatter for all my plumbing , heating and AC issues for years! When I was a renter, the owner would ask who K recommended and without hesitation, I said Strittmatter! Today, my in-laws were in a tough spot as their regular plumber was out of town and ended up calling someone they didnt know to help. I didnt know or I would have reccomended they call Joe. This other plumbing company sent someone who actually made the issues worse, was dishonest , used a hammer to bang on the shower and showerhead and sold them pieces of tools for a good deal which was 3 times the amount from any hardware store. This plumber said he needed a special tool and never returned ( or answered any calls) leaving us with a leak of roughly 50 gallons of water emptying out into a bucket and no way to shower .As soon as I found out I contacted Strittmatter. To wrap up this long ordeal: Dustin came within a few hours of my call - prompt and right on time . He was kind and respectful to my in laws , talked through what the issues were and answered any questions and there were a lot. He explained each step and made it easy for them to understand everything and what to do. A decision was made right away and he literally starting fixing the problem immediately! No more shower leaks , no more running toilet and was all fixed so we can shower again! He did this all in less than 2 hours and left his work area spotless! I could go on with more positive comments but it would be several more pages ! Thanks so much for being honest and fair with pricing too! Just want to leave a comment about how disappointed I was with the service this last time. I have always loved your service but something has been lacking for a while but this week I was really disappointed. It’s is not so much the Tech but this time the office. I had my heat pump serviced on Monday and Tuesday night it started freezing up...when I called about it I was told no biggie...it’s cold out...that’s normal. When I said it had not done that before the service or ever...I was again told it’s normal they are freezing up everywhere. To me...as a customer you should have sent someone to check it. When it still wasn’t defrosted on Thursday called again...and on Friday morning I called again. Still I was told man...they are freezing everywhere just turn it to em heat. I asked to talk to the tech who never called me..it wasn’t until I called a third time and basically begged to send someone out that I got a call. I found the Techs attitude very off putting. He basically said we’re you not happy on Monday when I left...which I was...then I did my job. And said I can come out but if I find something wrong it’s very Possible it was fine on Monday and broke between now and then. The thing froze up the same night and it had not been any colder earlier in the week. I finally had a friend who is a Tech come out and the first thing he tested was the put it in override defrost mode. It went into defrost mode and then immediately kicked out with an error code. He said if they tech had tested everything when I replaced the part....it More than likely should have given him the code that the sensor was bad... I now must wait until Monday or Tuesday to get the part and it fixed. I feel like had someone just come out and checked when I called the first time all of this could have been avoided. I don’t mind paying for repairs that are needed but really felt like I was just blown off after I voiced my concern on the unit several times. I am really doubting my membership with your company now. I hope customers are treated better in the future. Thank you...

Chris was prompt, checked everything that could possibly be leaking. He was unable to recreate what was causing the issue. As always seems to be the case, once he left my wife was using the sink and it started leaking but this time she saw where an called Chris. He told her to leave the water not clean it up . He was back out almost immediately, saw where the water was, said that’s why I couldn’t find it before and took the faucet control handle apart had it fixed within 20 minutes. J J Jacobs performed a thorough inspection of our property as well as the link between the meter and the street. He found no leaks and also found that the meter showed no flow between the street and the meter. He wrote a detailed report that should satisfy the city that there is no leak and that my bill should be adjusted. J J and his assistant Chance were amicable and complete in their explanations throughout.

JJ came out to check my hot water heater because after the storm the alarm was going off and the pilot light was off. I attempted to light it but I couldnt so I called Strittmatter Plumbing. He was able to get it lit and he checked the alarm as well.He has excellent customer service skills and is a very nice man.I will continue to use Strittmatter Plumbing.

Able to repair my toilet on same day I called because I was unable to completely shut water off to toilet. Had them also check outside faucets and other bathroom toilet. JJ and Chase were great team - respectful, knowledgeable, great explanation of problems. Great troubleshooters. Backyard faucet leak was related to new garden hose that was damaged. Front faucet has special fixture required by city where hose should not be hooked up except when using or will leak when water turned off. Valve to turn off water to toilet was damaged - needed new gasket. Explained about need to shut water off to house and checked that I wasn’t doing laundry or running dishwasher before starting repair. Very thorough! Gave estimate before starting work. Did not leave any mess and toilet flushes without running!!! Enjoyed visiting with them! Even called to check if it was Ok to come earlier then scheduled time. They fixed our old ac unit and did and excellent job. They were professional and on time. We had them repair our hot water heater earlier in the year and they did great.

I called Strittmatter because a friend had used them and was impressed with their response and service. My problem was HVAC not cooling. The tech found the problem along with another issue. The other issue was a botched install from when I had the old units replaced. It was a wiring issue. I had problems with this since I installed the new AC unit from my original install and that company did not fix it after being called back multiple times. Strittmatter did! My Tech Ivan and another tech came in and reworked the wiring and my HVAC is more efficient and now works correctly. Wasn’t cheap but was done right. The quality and keeping me updated throughout the repair was outstanding!!! I recommend Strittmatter highly!

They came to fix our water heater. When the freeze hit Texas. I called them Sunday night expecting to leave a VM. A service answered the phone and they had someone out the next day. They didnt charge any extra for the service call, like we heard some other companies were doing. He had 4 other calls that day but came out at 9 pm that evening and stayed til midnight getting us water again. They just came back out and installed our water heater. Dependable, very responsive and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend them!!

Second time was the charm with Dustin. He was nice, professional and considerate. Once we found where the burst was at he carefully removed shower tiles at the grout lines, which we greatly appreciated, and repaired the pipe.

I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. My water pipes burst because of days of incredibly low temperatures. My pipes thawed and started leaking about 6 PM on Friday night. I was able to turn the water to the house off and called Strittmatter Air & Heating and Plumbing. J.J. from Strittmatter showed up on time Saturday and did an excellent job! Jace Hassell was quick and thorough with the tune up he did on our system. Very professional. When he was finished did not try to up sell for things that could actually wait to be repaired, wasnt pushy. He explained his concerns with a few items that he had noticed. He told me to keep that in mind for future repairs. He quoted me a price on a blower fan that wasnt quoted to me on a previous call (must have been a misunderstanding between the previous tech and myself). But the price Jace quoted me was fair and will be able to get that taken care of sooner than later. Will be glad to have Jace Hassell back out for future service calls.

Strittmatter was fantastic! Very fast and professional. I recently hired a different HVAC company that was terrible, did not return my call after the issue reoccurred, did not honor their warranty window on the repair..Felix with Strittmatter came out and had to fix everything, and did it in 1/4th the amount of time the previous company did. Not to mention Felix was incredibly polite and respectful. 6 out of 5 stars, I will work with them again!

Update: Jay L. worked hard on unclogging our drain, however he was caught up in our system with his auger, cut apart our sewage clean out, and left it in a poor state without repairing it. Due to this, the system was clogged again a week later from dirt falling through the broken clean out. Several calls had to be made to the company to try and get them to repair it, but we were without usable toilets for almost a week. No prompt timeline of repair was provided to us. I called Jay but he did not respond. Living by 19th century sewage standards for another week didn’t sound so nice, so I hired another plumber to fix the system but had to pay for the damage done by Strittmatter to my clean out. I am hoping the company will do the right thing and pay for the damage. I’m sorry to say I will not be using this company again.Further Update: Strittmatter did end up paying the invoice for repairing the damage they caused to my system. Taking responsibility for their mistake does speak positively to the character of the owners.

Came out for basic AC maintenance and found a few problems. He thoroughly explained what the problems were and explained the benefits of fixing the issues verse letting them continue. He did a great job.

We were blown away by how quickly Strittmatter got a friendly, qualified plumber to help us in the middle of Snowmaggedon 2021. Like so many others during this storm, a pipe burst and left us without water for days. The first plumber we called confirmed theyd received 300 burst pipe calls the same night as ours. We got on several waiting lists and prayed someone would make it out. Strittmatter sent a plumber to triage the burst pipe, by capping it temporarily to buy us time until they can afford to return to repair it properly. They also showed us how to monitor our meter for future leaks as pipes thaw. We are so thankful for this triage approach, which took merely 15min to complete, and will patiently wait our turn for them to finish the repair.
