Our dryer went out and the dryer guys mentioned it could be the dryer vent. We had a couple people try to clear It out but it never fixed it. We called Cogburns and James answered fast and came out and cleaned it all out! He even told us it was the dryer stack and got on the roof to clean it for us. 100% would recommend 💁🏼‍♀️

So impressed. Needed emergency service. Friday night 8pm! Ricky came within minutes, uniformed, covered his footwear with booties. Explained the problem in detail. He took pictures. Service charge and repair charge very reasonable. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend it to friends.

Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night. I called about mid-day and they were able to schedule a tech to come out same day at 4pm. He was able to come earlier than scheduled, and texted to let us know he was on his way. Rick was extremely professional and explained exactly the what was wrong with the system. In less than an hour he was able to diagnose the issue and replace our thermostat. Most efficient and effective service we’ve ever received. Fantastic, friendly service. We have had 2 other companies come out over the past 4 years for loosing AC in the summer both just did a quick fix, I guess, because we continued having issues. Our AC went out 4th of July night, Called them morning of the 5th. Came out same day and on a holiday weekend!!!!!! 🙌 Double checked to see if their was a warranty on our system before installing another unit, no other company we had called before even mentioned that it could have a warranty. CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ENOUGH!!!! Wish I would have called them when we first started having issues.

We have had a service contract with Cogburn’s for a couple of years so when my heat refused to come on last week, I called them. They were here quickly but with the issues my old heater had and the age of the AC as well, I opted for a complete new bundle. Work was done quickly, efficiently, and to my satisfaction.

Needed to replace a 24 year old system......didnt want to! Byron came out and discussed our options. He listened to our situation and, he didnt try to strong arm us into something we didnt need. We did go up a notch because of the attractive bundle price. The next day at 8:30, the truck showed up with the components. Rego and Brian worked in 110 degree attic and, by 2:30 cool air replacing the hot.Over the next week, we watched our Nest learn the more efficient system. It is leveling out at between 8-10 hours less than before. It is quieter and consumes less energy.Great job guys

Recently, the heating system in our home failed. After a bit of research we contacted Cogburns Heating & Air Conditioning. Mr. Cogburn listened to our concerns, then sent one of his HVAC technicians, Ricky, to diagnose the problem. Mr. Cogburn soon joined Ricky to confirm this & after reviewing the problem with us, listening to & answering our questions, he recommended a solution. We agreed & soon a new heating system was being installed in our home — a better one than we expected. Mr. Cogburn monitored the progress & by the end of the day a new heater warmed our home.A couple of hiccups with the new heating system have occurred & in each instance the necessary update was made with impressive timeliness. The first incident happened on New Years Eve night & Mr. Cogburn came out, inspected & diagnosed the issue, returning the next morning to make the repair. For the second repair Ricky returned, then waited for the unit to cycle & run to ensure that all was working properly. Each time they were in our home they were conscientious about wearing masks & about covering their shoes. Ricky Morris has helped my husband and I numerous times, even after office hours. He is very professional and punctual. He never pressured us to buy a brand new unit (although we needed one). That speaks well for him. Our home AC system went out on a Saturday. Cogburns had someone here within the hour to diagnose the problem. We had a big issue that couldnt be fixed until Monday, but the guys showed up promptly and had us cooling again just after lunch. Cogburns has now replaced both of the units on my large house. 1 unit was 25 years old and 1 unit was 35 years old. The crazy thing is they had also installed those two units that long ago. They also installed an air cleaning system that help with my musty house built in the 40s. Of course, no system is perfect but Cogburn had a technician out within an hour every time I call for a service call. They also upgraded my drip pan for free when they found out that it could possibly be insufficient size. Byron is an honest man has stood behind his products add service. Its not as cheap as going on Amazon and then hiring some handyman to install your air conditioner, but the price is well worth it for peace of mind and quality.

Tech came and put his hands on the AC unit and says AC is leaking. when. asked to find out the leak, wants me to. pay $550 for the labor. he wants to do a nitrogen test. Advised, if he could just go t o the antique and check for leaking up there. he refused. Dont work with RIGO. he is the scam master!

Owner came out to service my ac unit for the annual inspection and I was told everything looked pretty clean. I have 2 houses on my property very different sizes [one has 2 units, my house only has 1 unit] and he didnt know which house he was going to. He also didnt know that my ac was 2 years old he thought it was only 1 year old. All things on the service ticket. I told my husband I was pretty sure he didnt go in the attic because the stairs were exactly how I put them. Can you believe about a week and a half later a different Cogburn employee showed up without notice saying he needed to inspect the attic. I said I knew the other guy didnt go up there. The excuse I was given was that the first guy was a little over weight. Then dont send the man out for annual inspections. The second man was in my attic about 15 minutes when I decided to go out and see if everything was ok. He was up there in the dark. Didnt even bother to turn on the attic light. I told him I really needed to go to work. Another 10 minutes of him doing who knows what he comes down. He said I had some loose screws. Over 20 minutes to tighten screws? This on a unit that is 2 years old. I fully expect that he broke something. If something is broken I know who I wont be calling.

If I could give them a lower review I would have. We got a new air conditioner installed by them six years ago and have had nothing but problems with the unit. We had them out every year when we started the unit up in the summer because it wouldnt hold freon. The unit leaked from my attic multiple times and they only offered to paint the patch they ruined in the ceiling, so I have a patch that doesnt match in my ceiling. The unit stopped working again (outside of the warranty) and the technician from another company asked who installed the unit because it looked like they hadnt put a part on the condenser properly. Think long and hard before calling them out. I will not be calling them again.

Talk about rapid response!. Called Cogburns about an A/C issue at a property I own. Byron called me back personally within 5 minutes to discuss the problem. Within the hour the technician arrived and had the problem fixed in 30 minutes. Plus he gave me some additional advice on ways to reduce the cost of running the unit by up to $30.00 a month. Had an appointment scheduled for well over a week for 3:00 on a Monday. Wife spoke with office which informed her of online coupon to have our system checked. Had coupon printed out and cash ready for technician. 3:00 nobody came. Called office at 4:00 to see if technician was held up because I hadn’t received a call about being late. I was told that our name and address were not in the system and that we had no appointment. Informed them that my wife did indeed call and All I got was a “well that’s weird” and they “might” be able to get someone to the house at 5:00 but the technician just arrived at his current call. Wasted a day, cancelled plans and end up with a “well we never spoke to you sooo...” kinda feeling. Have read the great reviews which is why we called but would have been nice for them to have a better excuse than “ are you sure you called us”! Not trying to take away business but my first experience was not great.

Very disappointed! Bought a brand new unit less then 3 years ago. The compressor went out which should not happen in under 3 years period. Its our upstairs unit so its not even heavily used. They wanted to charge over $800 in service. Does not seem right at all. When someone has spent several thousand with a company to purchase something brand new they should not be charged almost another thousand less than 3 years later.
