Sent a certified letter and no one mentioned I would need to do anything extra to be able to view the signature. This place needs people with better customer service skills that actually talk during transactions so people know what is needed for the services they are paying for.

This is the worst carrier. I have many packages that say on their trackings they were delivered to the local carrier, and I havent received them. It has been weeks, months. I call them and they say they cant do anything about it because the tracking is not from U.S. I am losing money and sales because of this post offices lousy job. I wish I could have another carrier handle my mail but I cant. I would have to move. The city does nothing about it. So Im contacting BBB now.

Very helpful. I called from PA because package I sent hadnt been delivered in Deltona and they were so kind and helpful. He found out what happened and called me back just like he said he would. I accidentally cut of the tracking info and he explained it to me very nicely and not condescending at all. He took care of everything.

I have a disability and want to share how I was embarrassed and humiliated by the staff and postal manager.On 8/10/18 at 11:45am I went to the Deltona Post Office on Deltona Blvd. to mail a package. While addressing and taping the box, my colostomy bag (which I’ve had for 5 years due to a disease that could have killed me) filled and was about to pop. I grabbed my purse and went to the counter and explained I am disabled and had a medical EMERGENCY and needed a bathroom ASAP. I was told by the woman at the counter to wait she had to get permission. When she returned she said her supervisor said I could not use the bathroom. I reiterated that this was a medical emergency please. I’m not out to steal anything I must empty my bag before it blows all over. Again I was told NO it’s not a public bathroom. I was forced to go to my car, get out another bag, tissues, and my car garbage bag. I had to stand by the hood of the car and I had to dump it into the bush out front, remove the bag exposing my stoma, (which is my butt hole on my stomach) wipe it down and replace it with a clean bag while all those who came and left the post office watched my dismay. I know of one person that got grossed out. I was so embarrassed. This is wrong and should never have happened. They might be a government building, however they are a retailer and should honor Ally’s Law.SHAME TO THE STAFF AT THE US POST OFFICE IN DELTONA.

This post office is typical of the Federal Bureaucracy. There is not a single employee that would survive for more than one day in the real world. Try and call them - no one will answer the phone. Try and file a search for a lost package - they will tell you to do it on line. Try and ask any question and they will spend more effort avoiding the answer than it would take to get the answer. They are bloated, ineffective, lazy and arrogant. They are pretty much exactly what Ive come to expect from the Federal Government.

Never a good experience here. Filed a claim for damage, never got paid and my items were kept and not returned. Best advise is get a PO Box with a different zip code to avoide this place. Management sucks. Place is a joke.

My mailman is very good. Before he started for many years we got other peoples mail and were randomly missing items. He seems to have corrected that! Hes second generation. I am glad he works our route now because he is the only thing good about this location. Now on to the bad news. The counter staff at this PO that has been here forever truly have no clue what customer service is about. The Orange city PO also sucks. I do whatever it take not to go there even shipping fedex or ups when necessary because they are so bad. They even have tried to make me sign my credit card. Thats one good way for fraudsters to get you. Anyone else when truly concerned just ask for an ID. Even when offered they tell me sign the card or no sale. I could be anyone signing that card. Do they not see how stupid they are? I guess it doesnt take brains to work in the PO. Plus they truly look like the early 1970s abandoned them. Its also super annoying to have to leave my gun at home. I have to make a special trip there and back just so I dont have my gun. There is no history of a customer ever shooting up a PO only an employee. Signs and laws also do not stop these horrible acts. Its just a further inconvenience and anti-American.

Terribly disappointed in the service. Never stops the mail when I asked them to (filled out the form and signed it in front of them!), runs into the cement decor around the mailbox, leaves the mailbox open. Very poor quality.

They have this lady that works at the front desk and she is so rude. I went to buy stamps and have her my debit and credit card with my license and she told me to sign the back of my card..I said I dont have to it as see id she kept insisting that I have to sign my card or her cash.I told her I dont have to and I left to get my stamps at publix.I will never go there for stamps cause the witch of Deltona works there!!!

Worst customer service I have ever received. All most ALL employees are rude, and dont even answer the question that is being asked. I CONSTANTLY receive mail for another address, the numbers in the address are the same as mine, i have called and told them. I have also gone to the post office to say something, still no fix. I didnt know i now work the usps and have to deliver mail for them. It is not my responsibility to do their job! Also i called about a package, when i looked up the tracking it said i would receive the item today by 8pm. So i called to ask if they really deliver that late or do i have to wait until the next day. The guy on the phone took my tracking number, and all he said was its not here. Okay, great! That wasnt my question tho. For all i know it can arrive in deltona in the next hour. My question is, will it be delivered today like my tracking number says, expected delivery is tonight by 8pm. Or do i have to wait till the mail goes out tomorrow.. again, the response was, its not here. Thanks for NOTHING!!

My experience in the past at this location has always been excellent. Today I went in to pick up a package that was said to be undeliverable. The grumpy older lady at the desk informed me that it was because my mailbox is blocked (I have a car parked behind the mailbox, not blocking it) She proceeds to tell me that the mailman has left notices(which has left none at all!) and if this proceeds to be a problem that they will refuse to deliver my mail. She was extremely rude and refused to let me get a word in edge-wise.That was two hours ago and I am still fuming over it! Customer service at this location has really gone down hill.

Service the past 2-3 years is very poor at this location. Have had a box there for over 38 years. Now the new employees put mail in wrong boxes, hold mail in plastic bins in the back sometimes for weeks before putting in your box. Lose mail that has been scanned on the new dashboard system. You complain to a supervisor and it still continues to happen. A private company would go out of business if it ran like this.

The 2 times that I’ve been here, the lady with the crazy Italian hairdue, charged me extra for 2 items that were under 2 lbs., and were being shipped via eBay’s shipping arrangement. When I asked her why the extra fee, she gave me some bogus answer that didn’t make any sense. Since I was in a hurry and I needed these items shipped out right away, I paid the extra fee, but I was confused. Now, when I took a similar item under 2 pounds to the Post Office in Deland, I had no issues what’s so ever and was not charged an extra fee. When I told the lady about my situation over in Deltona, she suggested taking both receipts, talking to the on-site manager and asking for my money back. Nevertheless, I’m never going back to the Deltona post office! And my wife has had other no so pleasant experiences with the same crazy lady.

Absolute WORST post office I have ever dealt with, ever. Ive had a change of addy filed for months, new addy in Daytona, STILL my mail goes to old Deltona address. How hard is it?? Clearly nobody there knows or cares about doing their job properly. What a joke they are. Beyond frustrated.

We were promised a package by amazon for sat, amazon sent an email that delivery was attempted and a note left. we sat in the living room all day no one attempted or left a note, we had been on vacation and our mail was supposed to be delivered sat also it was not. it is one thing to not get a delievery another to lie about it as they did. I have been trying to call all morning and get a busy signal, they must have the phone off the hook......this is our unions at worknow it is tuesday they did not deliver mail and package that was supposed to be here sat. now phone ringing for over 10 min and they will not answer.

I shipped to this USPS in Deltona FL. I insured my package for $500 dollars and the buyer never received it. I made a claim which was denied by USPS and to this day after hours with customer support I dont have an answer. USPS said they delivered it without a signature, which means they are just dropping off $500 dollar packages without any reprocussions. I strongly urge caution with this Deltona location. I was eventually contacted by the store manager who though friendly was woefully inadequate in resolving my issue. USPS knowingly sold me an insurance package that does absolutely nothing. It comes down to this, you can sue them out of principle which will likely cost you in excess of your package and or you can eat the cost and share your story in the hopes others can avoid your loss. To compete this company cuts corners, make sure whatever you send through them is not sufficiently valuable that it warrants dealing with thier customer service and I strongly caution you with their insurance, it does nothing.

AWFUL! Four years now I have been in my home and several days per week I get someone elses mail. The lady that delivers the mail screamed at me when I told her not to drive on my lawn and then wrote up some form saying my box was blocked, they are unable to deliver my mail without getting out of the truck, and several other nonsensical things including that my house is located in a rural area....huh? That same day, she delivered the wrong mail to me. And that notice (which btw was written on a form last updated over 25 years ago....yeah, February 1991, its officially past vintage status), it was delivered to my neighbors mailbox. That was clearly retaliation for me calling the 800 number on her. They continue to deliver other peoples mail to me and create a muddy mess on my lawn and driveway. I put three-foot reflectors up on either side of my driveway to prevent this and the one driver knocked them down. He has been banned from delivering mail to a gated subdivision in my neighborhood for the same exact thing. The first year I lived in my home, I never complained because he told me he was retiring in a year and I didnt want to put any black marks or complaints on his employee file so I just dealt with it. Guess what? That was over four years ago and he never retired and continues to create this mess in my driveway and lawn and deliver other peoples mail to me and God only knows where my mail is being delivered. Probably the garbage. I dont dare mail anything from my house anymore out of fear they will throw it away and my customers wont get the merchandise they purchased from me or they will break the contents. Rude drivers that threaten me, yell at me, and harass me for not taking this crap and then retaliate against me with a 25-year-old carbon copy form? Someone needs to step in and clean house at that post office. The problem is only getting worse.....

First of all, I hardly ever leave bad reviews for anybody. But, this place is SO bad I didnt have a choice. This place is full of the most incompetent and arrogant morons I have EVER dealt with in my entire life! When I moved and put in a request to forward my mail to a new address, it took OVER 4 months for me to start getting my mail to my new address (even after MULTIPLE calls to this location and the main USPS customer service line). We have a centralized mailbox in our HOA and they literally put a key in my mailbox for a package that was delivered, and when I opened that box, of course there was NO package in there! UMM?!? Where is my package and why do I even have a key in my mailbox! When I called to make a complaint, the person who answered the phone actually hung up on me! This is the most horrendous place ever, with the most horrible management. Someone seriously NEEDS to be released of their duties. Bring in a new manager who cares about their business and customer service! Avoid this place at ALL costs! I really wish ZERO stars was an option, because they dont even deserve one!

Be careful with a particular counter clerk. Dark haired not sure what her name is. Took in some packages pre labeled with the eBay shipping software she told me it was not enough postage and wanted $23 more. I went back to the computer and reran the label to ensure dimensions and weight were correct I added a extra pound just to be safe. Went back the same day, she told me the same thing. So I took it to the post office off Howland the clerk there says its over postage! This has happened multiple times and i have seen where the other clerks look at her with that shes crazy eye.

Thieves my packages were stolen and i had insurance on them, but they would not reimburse me, this happened during the holidays. My stuff was switched, in laws received garbage in a different box. Had proof, but they said it could have happened in transit, what is the point of getting insurance if tjey are not gonna honor it.

Had a registered parcel the carrier never attempted delivery left a yellow slip in the mail box cluster.Our mail is constantly miss delivered I have called Ive at least 8 times and things have not gotten better. The carrier constantly puts over sized boxes in the parcel lockers. We have to open the box inside the locker to get everything out of the locker.Worst service ever.

Dropped a package off for them to scan and ship away. A week later, tracking shows that the package still hasnt shipped out. Called their customer service number to see whats going on. Was told that I never dropped the package off when in fact I did. This is unacceptable.
