Just gave verizon a one star because Yesterday I was going back and forth between these two stores and I was getting this unique experience of going to one store and getting treated like garbage and then coming here and getting treated very nice. So ya. Just come here if you have any problems. My iphone12 screen was super expensive (like 370) but not these guys fault. Wish I could remember the lady at the front desks name because she was very professional and courteous. But thank you mam.

Went in after being told by geek squad to simply superglue my backspace key back on for a second opinion, and was provided with extremely helpful service and a quick fix of my broken key, free of charge! these people definitely know what theyre doing. highly recommend this company to anybody who isnt experienced with electronic repair.

Great experience! I had my son’s iPhone 8 Plus diagnosed and fixed super quick. The tech, Greg, was super sweet and professional, and also called to give me a heads up of additional damage that they were not able to see until they opened up the device, just to make sure I was aware that the fixes that they were planning to make would not be a permanent fix and that the phone may still experience issues so I was able to make the decision to move forward or not with the other fixes needed. I’ve had devices fixed elsewhere, where they’ve told you this info after, charge you more, or have made issues worse without making you aware. I highly recommend this place for any tech issues needed that cannot otherwise be fixed with their servicing company or warranty company.

Brought in a homebuilt PC awhile back. Couldnt figure out what I had done wrong with the set up. They ran stress tests and everything, and discovered I simply had my second ram stick in the wrong slot. I was waiting to leave a review until after I had used it for awhile and it was running smoothly. Unfortunately I didnt remember until I needed thier services again. But its runs perfectly. And I was not charged for it. Believe the mans name was Aaron. He didnt belive it was fair to charge me for sliding a ram stick a centermeter to the right. Super polite, easy to talk with, and professional. Will be back in later this week and for all future repairs. And for those who do thier research and read reviews. Should search reddit for reviews from employees who worked for Geek Squad. Which is where I was heading before I started doing my research.

So I thought I could repair my phone myself.... bought the screen online, thought “how hard could it be?”. About half way through taking the phone apart I realized how much more complicated this was. I called up the store and Aaron answered with a “bring it in and let’s take a look at it”. Literally that night I brought the phone in, he was able to have it buttoned up and fixed asap and for less than I ever could have imagined. I should have gone here to begin with. I like to think of myself as a handy person, but somethings are better left to the pros.

The employees here are wonderful to work with, are highly knowledgeable on every platform they service and will indeed fix the technology you break. I highly recommend this company.

I 100% recommend going to UbreakIfix store, they are very professional and very helpful and also has good values. First time going there and they fixed everything! My broken screen, a new battery (Not free) and also a new screen protector! If I have one of my devices broken I know who I can trust to fix it, it also takes about less an hour, depends on the damages I’m guessing. They also have a special van which will allow them to take it to your house and fix your device in the van. 5/5, will go again if I ever need a repair.

Terrible experience I came in one morning to have my iphone 11 screen replaced. I had spoken with a woman who told me they were sold out of these specific screens at the time but a shipment was coming in that day. We set up an appointment to fix the phone and have them call me when the screen came in later that day. I came in at 10 am and had this conversation the store did not call me all day until 6pm I figured I should call when I did they responded quick and politely to tell me that actually they had multiple screens both after market and oem this leads me to believe either they have horrible customer service or just lie about stock which I hope isn’t true. But all of that aside I still ask to have my screen fixed as this is the only store nearby I know of that provides these services and I need my phone for work. They ask how long will it be till I can be at the store I inform them I can be there in 10 minutes I was driving at the time even in the direction I would’ve arrived at 6:30 at the absolute latest which I understand in regular circumstances is disrespectful to the store and expect to be rejected but I would assume at least some empathy as I told them I needed it for work that day which never happened, but they still let me try to race to the store, arrived at 6:25 to get told to my face instead of very easily and much more conveniently over the phone they can’t do it today they could take my phone but cannot do it till the morning. With 35 minutes left in the work day I figure you’d do me a favor but when you can’t align the screen protector properly, or install the screen I asked for, and had my appointment “scheduled” 3 different times across two days, or replace the water proofing on the phone, or screw in the screws that hold the screen in all the way. I guess I can’t expect you to want to work overtime and add 30 minutes more to your hours for the week for someone you had already given a terrible experience to . It took them only one full work day (9 hours) to have me inform myself they have screens... then decline fixing it that day... nice. and then take 5 hours of the second work day to repair the screen. I get my curtesy call that the phone will be done in 20 minutes to leave my house 20 minutes later wait in a line to be told it will be 15 more minutes. Staff up or don’t overflow your work orderShout out to Jarvis though he might be the only employee who is worth anything to a business it appeared he was the newest employee I had seen there and the only one who actually cared.(I’m basing this name off my receipt of who repaired my phone sorry if it’s not the correct person but you should know who you are)

Brought my iPad in because the screen was cracked. Paid $135 to get it fixed. Once we had it home, in less than a week it was cracking again in the same spot. The iPad was not dropped, nothing hit it, and nothing was placed on it. They will not honor their warranty to fix it because there is “physical damage”. We did nothing to damage it. They use cheap material and do not stand behind their product. I would highly recommend finding a different place to repair your apple products.

Dont waste your time with this store and the employee by the name of Chad. He is extremely unprofessional not the mention a LIAR!!!! Called ahead of time to check availability for my husbands phone stating he was on his phone with Assurion filing a claim and was told by Chad that had numerous screens available, screen could be replaced today and we wouldnt have to wait. After sitting onhold FOREVER with Assurion they claimed this store had no parts available to fix it. So, on to a 3 way call between us, Assurion and Chad at U Break I Fix in DeKalb only for Chad to flat-out LIE and back peddle everything he previously told us so that he wouldnt get in trouble with Assurion. HORRIBLE customer service Chad! **What held our insurance claim was your company and the lies Chad told on the phone saying they had parts and then telling Assurion they dont ****

Anthony at UBreakIFix is great! Went in to see about getting a small crack in my screen checked out, and asked if he could clean up my phone for me as I just bought it second-hand. He said the crack shouldnt affect anything, and he took it to the back, cleaned it up, and what I owed, he said not to worry about it! If I ever do need a repair, I will definitely be back!

Scam! Extremely obese rep is Greedy, lies. I went to the store, to have my screen replaced. They are an authorized dealer for asurion insurance claims for At&t. Ive told him that my screen and battery needs to be replaced. I have an account with At&t and asurion insurance on corporate account. He replied, it will cost you $270.00 or $79 for data transfer without screen replacement. He never told me that an insurance claim for screen replacement with asurion was $29.99. I drove over 100 miles, spent over 16 hours in 3 days, had to speak with 8 people, only to find out that I can get a technician from their store to come to replace my screen in my driveway. When Dekalb, Ubreakifix representative, Anthony called me 10 minutes before he was supposed to arrive, he asked me if there was damage to the back. I said yes, he canceled the appointment immediately, stating that I need a new phone and has claimed payment without performing the service. Liars. They have cost me time, effort and money. They are liars, scammers and At&t should cancel their contract.

I have never been more happy with a repair place. These guys were super nice and helpful. I didn’t feel the typical dread I do when getting an electronic fixed. It took 45 minutes and didn’t cost an arm and leg. They’ve got a new customer for life and I’ll be telling all my friends!

Great customer service, gave me a deal on replacing my phone screen But the screen for my laptop was also replaced here and was used. So there are scratches on the back and one on my screen. And a chip in the frame. Nothing serious, but overall good experience

Went in to get my S10s shattered screen finally fixed. Within the next hour I came back and as soon as I came in they had my phone ready. Replaced the battery too without charge I believe. Phone looks like I just bought it. If I break it again I know where Im going to get it fixed!!

Excellent service. I thought I needed to have my charging port replaced, but before they replaced it, they cleaned out all of the dust to see if that was the issue and it turns out it was. No cost and my phone is good to go.

Ive had to visit this store a few times, unfortunately. During my first repair they did a great job and taught me about the issue. More recently Ive had a lot of frustration with what exactly they can fix. One of the staff took the time to call me, apologize and helped to get my phone fixed. They also will help you get your phone fixed without charging, and if they do charge its done with your consent.Phone repairs suck, but these guys are making it easier.

Very friendly service! My iPhone stopped charging so I went to uBreakiFix store in Dekalb. I thought I need to replace the charging port to make my iPhone chargeable again. The staff helped me cleaning the charging port and fixed the problem in under 5 minutes. And its totally free!!! I would definitely go there again if I had any problem with electronics devices. Highly recommanded!!!

These guys do it right. I’ve had experience with other shops in the area and the guys at Ubreakifix are the best they get. Chad is my go to guy there and always greets me with a smile. I won’t bore you with some repair story. If you have a problem with your phone go to these guys.

I have had phones fixed at other places and this place is hands down the best. Everything from customer service to quality of repair. It was an outstanding experience all around. From the moment I called them to the time I picked up my computer, the service was excellent.My computer refused to power on, so I searched for a repair shop near me and the one that stood out among all the others was uBreakiFix. They were pleasant to talk to and helpful. When I dropped off my computer, they answered all my questions and made sure that I understand what they were going to. They got back to me within 42 hours and my computer was fixed and ready to pick up in 5 days. (Though that was because I dropped it off just before the weekend).I would have no problem going back to them for any problem with any device. Had an older Sony phone with the glass on the back shattered (had been that way inside a case for almost 5 years). Took it to uBreakiFix and they had the semi-rare phone fixed within the week. Cost to fix was $20 less than the cost to replace the phone, which is now an older model, but still works great. I havent compared price or work to any other company, but I think Id go back there without hesitation in the future.

I called U Break I Fix today to ask if they fix Fitbits. Anthony, the gentleman who answered the phone, told me that they do, but it would cost more for them to fix it than it would to just buy a new one. He didnt have to tell me that; he could have just said yes, fixed it, and then charged me through the nose! Friendly people and got the job done in a professional manner. I have a iPhone 6s that was a repair from the Verizon insurance plan. Verizon screws you with refurbed phones and Apple wont fix them if they go bad, in this case my battery died. uBreakiFix was recommended by the Apple store as a good resource to get it fixed. Cost was reasonable and they did it in an hour.

Anthony did a great job with my phone, a Pixel 3. The insurance through Google allowed me to take it into a uBreakiFix location for only $50 for a screen repair. I filled it online and then called the Geneva location, but they said they couldnt get me in until the 5pm, so I called this one and Anthony said he could fit me in early afternoon. I drove 15 minutes further and got stellar treatment and fixed right away, up to Googles standards.

Excellent place with some excellent service. My charger port stopped working correctly and instead of just charging me to replace it, The nice gentleman working cleaned the debris out of the port and got it up and running again perfectly. He even waited until my phone was able to turn on again, which took a little over 10 minutes to do, just so that I could be 100% certain that everything was ok. On top of all of this, he did not charge me, and allowed me and a friend to go take some pictures with a dead buck that had died on the side of the road next to the store. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman, and I will most certainly be coming back in the future with any other cellular problems!

I just went in today. I had tried replacing the glass on my own phone and it ended up being a complete catastrophe! I basically mangled my screen :-(. The employee was great. he was really helpful. Theyre doing overnight shipping on the parts so they can get my phone up and running for me tomorrow.

Every person that I talked to was friendly and very knowledgeable about everything. They also finished my repair much quicker than expected. Was told it would be 7-10 days to get the part needed in (not their fault for length of time, so no fault against them) and the whole thing was fixed and ready to go in 5 days. Phenomenal job and will certainly be going back again when I need the next thing fixed. Price was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I will be telling everyone to head their way from now on
