Worked with these guys once before for oil change and a diagnostic check on an issue, they were great and I wanted to keep going to them...BUT I have tried going back multiple times and different times of the day and was always turned away as they are too busy. I even went today after a long break of constantly trying with them and was rudely told this isnt a lube shop. Well shame on me for trying all this time, theyve lost my business for sure.EDIT: There is a difference in telling a customer come back another time vs let me see what days are available so I can fully evaluate your vehicles issue. I unfortunately had to experience the former.

Hello everyoneI went to Deer Park Automotive looking for some good,honest and quality work done to my truck. Came to a conclusion I had an oil leak coming from the valve covers and rear main seal leak. They guys there did an awesome job. Well on top of all that another leak was discovered. Coming from the oil pan thankfully Paul and his crew worked with me on getting the repairs done and taking care of the outcome. I personally highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for repair of your vehicle. They are honest,patient and very trustworthy. And very reasonable in prices. We thankfully found this out when we 1st took the Cadillac to them for a clunking noise we heard when turning the steering wheel. I had my truck tuned up by Deer Park Automotive and 2 months later my check engine light came on I went back to DPA requesting another time up, Paul refused to do it said maam I cant charge you another $300 for a tune up you dont need left there frustrated because I just knew that had to be my problem....well it turned out to be my fuel pump ...Paul saved me $300 on a tune up I truly did not need, a repair shop of lesser quality would have done it anyway. I love Deer Park Automotive and as a single woman I know he could have gotten to me. I truly appreciate his integrity.

Could not find power steering leak in my truck now im driving around with a loud winding noise and hard steering.

In 56 years of life I have never found a more honest mechanic. These are absolutely the VERY BEST in my the business and they will not try to sell you on something you don’t need. I have had several occasions when I thought I needed something just to find out it was a simple task and they took care of it. Example; thought I needed brakes 2-3 times before with different vehicles, but when I took them in, Deer Park Auto called me within 30 minutes to pick up vehicle because all that needed to be done was brake dust blown off! That’s only one example; Paul and his team really are the VERY BEST honest, business people and mechanics!!! I recommend everyone to them and I have not been anywhere else for auto repairs in over 10 years. They will do you right and at a fair price too. Hard to find good business people like this. Don’t go anywhere else.

I hardly ever take my vehicle to a shop. I actually needed a brake and did not have time. So took down to a place off Center st they quoted me $1900 dollars like I just crawled out from under a rock. I then went to the great people over at Deer Park Automotive for about a 1/3 of the cost it was done expediently. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. A very good place to have your vehicle or truck worked on. They call you after they inspect your car what ever the problem is and let you know what needs to be done. Very nice and honest people look no more their the place to go too.

I took my car here last year and got my air conditioner fixed due to it not working at all. It took them one day and it was done and done correctly. Today I took my fiancès car up here to replace his brakes and rotors and it was very affordable and fast! We dropped it off at 12 and it was done at 3. The customer service here is nothing short of amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing their vehicles serviced. We will be customers here for a very long time.

I took my daughters car to Deer Park Auto to get the steering fixed. Paul called me and told me to check and make sure there wasn’t a recall or warranty on the car, I didn’t think there was but I checked and sure enough there was. Paul didn’t charge me anything to check my car and could have fixed it and charged me. Deer Park Auto has always been very honest with me and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had SUCH a good experience with these guys. My A/C went out the day before a 14 hour drive and a mechanic told me it would be $150 just to diagnose the problem, so we had to make the drive without it. I brought my car into these guys as soon as we arrived and they fix it in about 10 minutes and didnt charge me hardly anything. So relieved and impressed by their service!

Ive known about Deer Park Automotive since Ive lived in Deer Park (28 years). Their reputation is SPOTLESS. Ive used them in the past and my late boyfriend used them all the time. My experience today confirmed my faith in them.I was at a Nissan dealership getting my oil changed and they told me I had a leak in a power steering hose. I thought that was odd since I didnt see any leaks on the ground. My built-in distrust of dealership servicing sent me to stop by Deer Park Automotive. Paul inspected hoses and fluid levels and declared all was good! Belief confirmed! I will NEVER even have my oil changed by dealership again and will only use Deer Park Automotive for future repairs/service.

For the past 10 years weve taken our vehicles here to fixed and have always had our vehicles back that same day or within a couple of days. This is a repair shop and not a lube shop.

Deer Park Automotive really knows what theyre doing, I was so impressed with the quality of work they did on my car in April of 2014, that when I was having braking issues, I immediately knew they would get my business. To sum up my last experience for anyone who wants a honest review, it went a little something like this.Placing a phone call I was greeted by a friendly guy working the service desk, after describing my situation I went ahead and brought my car into the shop a few minutes later, dropped it off and already at 7:30 in the morning they had a entire lot of cars to go through (estimating it had to be a dozen to twenty cars ahead of me), so I assumed that Id be picking it up the following day.I got a call back about 4 hours later from the owner of the shop, Paul, who described exactly what I needed, and gave me a estimate of what Id spend, and that I could pick it up later in the day. As a side note, a brake/rotor replacement at DPA cost me half of what it did back in Louisiana, or similar shops in this area.The guys working here are not only friendly in business that can be cutthroat, but they are extremely knowledgeable at what they do, and provide a service that is both quick, and economically sound. If you need a regular mechanic, bring your business here and you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys.
