I came in today for a headlight bulb replacement. I called in prior and Rich helped me out, giving an estimate over the phone. I came in and everything was very professional and fast. They called me back about 2 hours later so that I could pick up my car. I check out the work after paying and leaving and notice that one of my lights are dimmer than the other. I inform one of the employees in the front and he immediately comes out to inspect it! One of the bulbs needed to be replaced. He did it right there in the parking lot! 10/10 would recommend this location.

I’m never left a review on anything but I felt strongly compelled today.This Goodyear is absolutely top-tier with awesome customer service and a strong knowledge base on cars. Rich is so helpful and he makes the process of car maintenance less stressful. I’m glad I came to this location and I will be there every time something happens to my car without a doubt!

Not professional at all. I purchased tires and made the appointment online at noon. When I arrived at 4pm, they had no record and said they were backed up and all appointments after 3pm had been cancelled. When he realized that was unacceptable, he went in the office and found my reservation. (which he was supposed to do in the first place instead of suggesting that it was too late to service me) It took 2 hours to put on a set of tires. The person sitting next to me had been there for brake service since 10am. It was after 4pm at the time. Another person had the wrong tire put on his car and had to wait for them to correct it. I will never go back.

I bought new Goodyear tires there which are very good tires. Unfortunately the service wasnt too great. Took a long time. But the main thing is they actually damaged a few electrical things in my car and still have not fixed it. Didnt even have to work on the electrical. But messed up my radio and seat heaters. Also damaged one of my low air sensors in my rim when they put the new tires on.

I purchased a set of 4 new tires. It took them close to 4 hours. When I asked the mechanic if there was something wrong with the car, he responded rudely: What!? What do you want? Didnt you want an alignment? That was after 3.5 hours of waiting. I want a full refund and my old tires back. They took care of every customer, except me. I was literally the only, and last customer in the tireshop. Goodyear took away respect and integrity from themselves today. Oh... I asked if they could spare a tire cap cover, the manager straight up said no. They didnt clear the low tire pressure light after 4 hours of work.

I went to get my tire plugged after I ran over a bolt in the mall parking lot. The service took longer than it probably should, but one of the mangers recognized my wait time was long and comped my bill. He apologized for the wait and maintained great customer service throughout my visit. Overall the wait was not the best the day I went, but I love to shop at businesses with great customer service and I will be returning when its time for new tires.

Sales associate was very rude. I dropped off my car early in the morning. Handed my keys to the associate as he put my information in the computer. Never received a call all day. Finally called at around 3:30, and the associate could not find my car in the computer. He told me he would call me back but never did. I finally called back around 30-45 minutes later and was fed a line about how they had to consult a specialist or something like that. Went in to pick up my car, and the associate, again, could not find me in the computer. At this point, I’m concerned about whether the work has actually been done on my car, as it appears they didn’t even put my information in the computer properly. Meanwhile, the associate tells the person he’s on the phone with that he’ll need to call back because he has a line of customers (i was the only person in the lobby). The whole situation was shady, and I suspect they just forgot about my car. Sales associate was very rude and just told me they don’t do that kind of business and that I could check the oil myself. I won’t be back.

The building is very bad. You have water dripping from the ceiling, several buckets on the floor and water spots is everywhere. This is terrible and can be dangerous. This store needs to be repaired.

From the first visit I knew that I have found my new mechanic. Mike has repeatedly went over and beyond to accommodate me with his customer service and quality service of my vehicle. FYI: the local phone to this store is not in serviceMade an appointment online for 4pm and received the confirmation email. Got to the store the guy told that I was mistaken. He checked the system and realize he did have an appointment to check the transmission fluid. Then he tells me he cant check. Customer Service means everything and I want be coming back or recommending this location because of poor customer service.

I went in August 7, 2020Everyone was social distancing you have an option to seat inside with a mask on or take a chair outside. Richard did an outstanding job making sure that everything ran efficiently I went in at 8:15 am to get 3 tires replaced and its currently 9:12 am and my car is done and I am currently checking out.

I’ve been coming here since August 2017, because of the 3 year alignment special. Today I had the perfect & most pleasant experience with Mike Bernard & his staff. I needed a tire rotation. Had a flat tire in the mall parking area. Mounted the spare which was dry rotted. I had only had the car a week so I didnt know.Getting a patch took 2.5 hours. After sitting for half an hour I had to ask Shay for a repair ticket to be entered. Then was told it would be an hour. Left for lunch, came back 1.15 hours later, tire still sitting there. Waited another half hour. A mechanic came into the lobby and I asked him if he could patch it.Shay told me I was jumping the line. Really? I said that is not my intention, Im only going by what I was told. A few minutes later Ricardo said to me I got ya. 15 minutes later my tire was fixed. Thank you Ricardo. Waited to pay so as not to jump the line! Then another gentleman rolled the tire the length of the mall to my car. Thank you sir. I wish these gestures changed my mind about the service from Shay. Sorry, they are separate experiences.I think an hour is the standard response. Not a good practice.

Never been here before but knew I had something going on with my tire, because I have insurance I decided to wait 2 hours that I was quoted for wait time. They were slammed! However, everyone was super nice, helpful, and as fast as possible. It’s nice not to be hassled too, thank you!!

I work in customer service so Im a stickler to how I expect to me treated and this location has always treated me right. Keith is an honest man when it came to the care of my vehicle and the other employees are very friendly and helpful. I have never had an issue here and am a repeat customer because of it. Im glad they are close to my home and when I need something done they do it in a timely manner and fair prices.

I had such a positive and great experience here. I would like to thank Mike and his crew, along with Barbara, for aiding me with getting new tires. I appreciate Mike for assisting me with getting the correct tires because I had less than stellar interactions when it came to purchasing tires in the past. I needed a sensor replaced on my tire so I went here to the Macy’s service center to have it replaced. I bought a sensor at autozone but when I got there they told me they couldn’t use third party parts. I said that was fine and I would just use the sensor they provided. After waiting maybe and hour someone came back out to tell me their sensor didn’t work and they wanted to use the one I bought and they would charge me less. The next morning the light on my car. I took my car to the dealership because I thought maybe Macy’s didn’t know what they were doing. I turn out to be correct. They took the sensor off completely and charged me for doing nothing. I would suggest not using this service center. I’m looking for my receipt today and I will update this review with the name of the person I worked with in the service center. Stay away.

Made an appointment days in advance, showed up on time for the appointment, and waited 4 hours for an oil change and to have my brakes inspected (brakes didnt need any repairs, so they were literally just looked at).Employees were friendly, but 4 hours for an oil change is ridiculous.

I just got an oil change there today and the customer service was great! I went on my lunch break and they were fast and prompt. He showed me the things that were going wrong with my tires. Usually when I go to Firestone they tell me whats wrong and I get it fixed (Trust). This guy was great and showed me my tires and the best part is that he took the time to show me till I understood. Thank you very much for a great trip to good year!

Great experience, repeat customer. I worked nearby a year or so ago and got a flat, needed a replacement and they were super fast and professional getting me back in order. Went to them again this year for another flat that came with some additional required repairs, they were very communicative when it was going to take longer than we initially planned and they made good on the estimate they had given. They are way closer to my house than my other regular place so likely I’ll start going there for all my service and repair needs.

Firestone had a long wait on Sunday and were accepting appointments only so I went to Goodyear after calling and learning I could get in right away to have my tire repaired. The guy looked at it immediately and said it couldnt be repaired.😳 But he did suggest going to a used tire shop and he also gave me a valve stem I needed for my spare at no charge. I was able to get it repaired with no problem elsewhere. Not the place to go for fixing a flat but maybe for something else.

My car was left unsafe to drive on multiple occasions after having just my oil and tires rotated here. Staff fixed one of these issues improperly (leaving my car more unsafe to drive) and then charged me $75 dollars to fix the mistake they had caused. Staff told me that I should not work on my own vehicle in any capacity or their work was not guaranteed. Seriously, I was told that I cant take a tire off my car (even if I get a flat) because it would negate their work.Service is incredibly slow. Even arriving at the store as the doors open, service (oil and tires) takes 2 hours at least.

Brought my car in because I heard a loud metal-to-metal sound and I suspected it was the brakes. I asked them to check the brakes at which point they told me that I had 4 people in front of me and I could leave the car with them. I left and they called me 3 hours later to say that there was NOTHING wrong with my brakes and my car was perfectly fine. THEN offered to change all my tires and an oil change for $1,000!!! I declined and took my car elsewhere. Come to find out the metal to metal sound was IN FACT my brake pads that had been worn out!!! Instead of stating the obvious they tried to scam me out of $1000. The mechanic who ended up fixing and installing my brake pads told me any skilled mechanic could easily tell the brake pads were worn. I ended up pay $100 for pads + installment at the 2nd mechanic shop. I would NEVER EVER go back to this Goodyear nor any other branch of Goodyear again!!!

At first the experience started good. Walked in, was seen right away, and dropped my car off for servicing my brakes. The process didnt take too long and it was done quickly and efficiently. Things became worse when coming to pick up my car. When I arrived, my car was finished but I noticed my window was all the way entirely down. I had not realized that you had to have the window ENTIRELY DOWN in order to fix my tires, even though you have my keys. While I blame myself for not disclosing my window issues to the mechanic, I was more taken aback at the nonchalant attitude by the associate and the look of annoyance when I asked if they could help me get it back up. I had to ride from Decatur to Macon, Ga. with a wide open window in 38 degree weather thanks to the gentlemen at this shop. Their mechanic skills arent in question, but definitely need a crash course in better customer service.

If I could give this place no stars at all I would!! The store is dirty and the ceiling is literally falling apart. I waited an hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation WITH a scheduled appointment. When I asked why it was taking so long I was told that I could go to Jiffy Lube if I wanted a 30 minute oil change. What a piss poor attitude to have towards the customers who patronize YOUR business. I was accused of calling the young man racist because I told him that I get better service on the other side of town. Were both of the same ethnicity so that was ridiculous! I told him hes not racist, he just has POOR customer service skills. Im a South Dekalb county native and I love to patronize businesses in my community, but I dont believe in spending my money where its not appreciated. PLEASE RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS TIME and dont just allow your customers to sit for over an hour at a time without at LEAST giving an update.

The terrible service I have received here is legendary. I dropped off my fleet car at 3pm on a Wednesday and they said they were busy and wouldnt get to it until the next day. Thursday, the next day, I called for a status update and they stated they were working on the car and would call me back. They did not. Later that evening, they stated they were working on it and would call me back before close. They did not. I called at 10am Friday morning and they stated they were receiving the air filter in 15 minutes had chamged two tires, and would finish installing an air filter and the vehicle would be ready. When I arrived an hour later, they checked me out and had me sign for the wrong car. They were working on the air filter of another fleet vehicle of the same make and model but a different year. They had not even looked at my vehicle once in three days and had not even diagnosed the work it needed. They then suggested I take the vehicle to another shop if I wished. Their incompetence, disorganization and lack of systems is already an issue, but then their customer service is trash too. However, I believe that when you make a mistake, you fix it and I instructed them to do the job they had already said was completed. Lets hope my car doesnt disintegrate after they finish the repairs it needs now that they have pulled it into the bay and are finally looking at the vehicle. I certainly will not be bringing other fleet vehicles to goodyear as a brand after this performance. Buyer beware!

I have giving this place chance after chance after chance !! There is only ONE person that I can deal with for effective results but that’s SAD!! The last visit , my car stayed TWO days for NOTHING!! Waiting for a sensor for brakes I DIDNT NEED !! i actually DID need brakes !! Down to 15 %!! Listening to them I almost took a road trip with my KIDS on BAD brakes !! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! DO NOT Patronize there for ANY of your car needs. I bought four brand new tires from them and had an oil change and multi-point inspection. They suggested I replace my front brake pads. Two weeks later, I brought my truck back to have my brakes replaced and they replaced my rotors and brakes. I pick my truck up and proceeded to head home. I drove exactly 1/2 a mile from the shop and my ABS light comes on with a message on my dashboard telling me to Service Traction Control and Service StabiliTrak. I drove my truck back to the Goodyear Service Center in the South DeKalb Mall parking lot. I worked with Howard and he told me please understand things happen this seems like the error you are explaining has something to do with your TRANSMISSION. MY TRANSMISSION REALLY!!! Howard was EXTREMELY DISMISSIVE. As if I was making the whole thing up. He drove it and I could stop my review right here this should tell you the type of people working here. A tire and brakes guy telling me ABS and TRACtion is related to my transmission. After insisting that the message did not appear because he didnt see it, he said there was nothing he could do and suggested I take it somewhere to have my Transmission checked. My car is a 2015 with 60k miles and has been maintenanced regularly at the Chevy dealership until now with no issues. After spending 5.5hrs on Sunday, I took my car home and had to bring it back on Monday because the message appeared again. I have just spent another 2hrs and was asked to leave my car there overnight so they could look at it tomorrow. Brakes, in my experience, should not require 3 days of my time and the inconvenience of no vehicle during the work week. Aside from the complete unprofessionalism and dismissive attitude from Howard, my main concern is the safety of myself and my 9yr old son as I commute 70 miles per day. As it stands now, 2 days and a lot hours of time, my car is still not the way I brought it in and I am questioning the integrity of not only Howard, the Goidyear brand but also the actual installation of my brakes themselves. Who knows whats really going on. I will be requesting and expecting a full refund and will take my car where I should have gone to begin with for them to correct whatever error Sam (the technician) has done. Howard is real inviting and friendly when ringing and swiping your credit card but lacks any kind of Customer Service when theres an issue. In my case, a potentially unsafe issue. Its disappointing to say the least that I have spent over $1200 in a matter of 2 weeks just to be told its probably your transmission. No Howard, its your workmanship or lack of.

These guys are so much better than greedy Firestone at S.Dekalb mall. Store is a bit dirtier than Firestone but it caused because they ran store for long time. Excellent work, friendly rep/tech. I wish they have same lifetime alignment service like firestone.

Let me tell you about the very stressful bind I was in this past Friday afternoon at 3:30PM in downtown Altanta when I was on my way home to Columbia, SC. My two door 4WD 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe broke down on me as I was in the left lane on I-20 going east through downtown Atlanta. After I coasted the vehicle on the side of the highway at the Spring Street exit with AAA on the way I started calling Goodyear stores in the area as what I was worried would be a futile attempt to get me back on the road that evening so I wouldnt have to unexpectedly spend the night in Atlanta. After calling 10 Goodyear stores in the area where the managers all told me that they wouldnt even be able to look at my vehicle until the next day, let alone fix it that afternoon, I had the good fortune of calling this Goodyear store at 237 Candler Road, Decatur, GA. The manager of this store gave me some hope that they could look at my vehicle that afternoon which was a tall order considering it was at 3:30PM on a Friday afternoon in Atlanta! They worked real hard to help me, especially Dave the technician to get my fuel pump replaced. They even stayed open until 9PM to get my vehicle fixed so I could drive home to my hometown of Columbia, SC that night. These guys at this Goodyear store really got me out of a jam and went above and beyond with excellent customer service which is a lost art in this day in time. Thanks guys! I really appreciated not having to spend the night in Atlanta just to fix my vehicle the next day. Stephen
