Went here after having a stylist for 10 years. I was super nervous since I had curly hair, but the hair stylist Grace did AMAZING. I have zero complaints for this salon. Amazing and super kind staff. Can’t wait to go again!

Cannot express how happy I was with this salon!!! A couple weeks before my wedding, I called Affinity, got some pricing, and set up a trial run for hair and makeup for myself and hair for my little sister (our flower girl). My mom came with us and when we got there Megan, the hair stylist, started working on my sister while the makeup girl got started with me. Both were very professional, extremely friendly, and made the day enjoyable! My mom ended up asking Megan to put her down as getting her hair done the day of the wedding as well because she was so impressed.A few days before the wedding, my mom decided she would do her hair herself to try and save some money. However, the day of the wedding we were running late. I called Megan on my way with my sister in the car and asked her if they could still squeeze my mom in. Megan was more than accommodating and happy to help her out! After Megan started on my sister and I, our mom showed up and realized she forgot her makeup at home (she was going to do it while waiting for her hair). Before any more worrying could arise, Megan and the makeup artist quickly stepped in and allowed her to use their makeup to get ready!By the time we all got done, we were gorgeous and felt like a million bucks! I would 100% recommend Affinity salon to anyone!

Affinity is a very nice salon - great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. My stylist Paula is amazing! I had awful hair from a previous bad experience elsewhere the first time I saw her - tiger striped highlights and some weird too short layers. I felt terrible about how I looked. Paula worked her magic and now I have beautiful, natural looking color and a great modern cut. Every suggestion she has made regarding color, style, and product has made my hair look better. Paula truly is the best and I consider myself very blessed to have found her!

Christine did a fantastic job on my hair. I asked for something quite complicated and she nailed it perfectly. I will be coming back to see her for future haircuts

Not a good cut...and expected better for that price. Being a short cut, last minute switch from a longer cut, it looks and feels not finished into a style that works for me.

Another amazing experience at Affinity! I happened to be in town for a business meeting and was able to get a last minute appointment.All I can say is this place is amazing. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. I waited for a minute at a cafe table (and caught up on some emails). When it was my time in the chair I enjoyed the conversation and most important the cut was superb. I really wish I could spend more time in Dayton just to visit Affinity. If I could leave 10 stars I would have.

I was looking for a salon to get my nails done for an upcoming trip and saw that Affinity had great reviews. Logan was my technician and she was friendly and did a fantastic job on my nails! I cannot remember the last time a gel manicure looked so good. I am sure it will hold up during my vacation. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I also appreciate how clean the salon is. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back!

Craig is amazing!! My son recently got a cut and highlights and he loves it (as does his Momma!!) His salon is gorgeous and has every service you could want (along with that wonderful Aveda scent!) My son had an amazing experience and will definitely be going back.Also, the services are very reasonable, all things considered. Clean, professional and welcoming. I went in for a quick trim and Riley went above and beyond the call of duty when my baby got fussy. She took everything in stride and was exceptionally kind. She listened to my hair woes, gave me helpful advice, and accomplished a cut that I love. I hadnt found a salon I wanted to return to until Affinity.

I have been going to the Affinity Salon for 20+ years! I am originally from NY, so trying to find a salon that could really color my graying, coarse, wavy auburn hair was a feat!I saw my daughters girlfriends hair. It was stunning! I asked her for the name of the salon and I never looked for another salon again!Understand. Affinity is about quality trained professionals with a personal touch! Not to mention they offer many spa services and quality products to keep you looking great until your next visit!The whole staff is friendly and sensitive to your needs! Did I mention that it is an hour trip 1 way to get to Dayton for me. I would walk to get there! I constantly get compliments about my hair! Yes, I have to give away my appointment card! If anyone is looking for quality stop here. It really is a cut above!

After leaving my home town over 5 years ago I have not been able to find anyone to give me a great hair style, until I met Craig. He has cut my hair flawlessly ever time. He listens to what you want, he works fast, and he is very funny. We have had the best conversations, while still being professional. He has a beautiful salon and I know he treats his staff like family.

I have had two facials by Sandra and both have been outstanding. I have had many facials in the past and none compare to sandra’s Detailed and comprehensive ones which also includes the arms. Her pleasant and relaxed demeanor enhances the experience even more. I highly recommend her and I will continue to get facials with her on a monthly basis.

Great place did my makeup there. I dont think they are the best in makeup but their spa section and hair section looked great. I will be visiting dsoon for that.

I have been going to Affinity Spa for over five years and have used Aveda products for over 30 years. I go mostly for facials with Saundra who is absolutely marvelous! She knows the exact products for your skin type and with her gentle technique you almost fall asleep; however you don’t want to miss one moment of this wonderful experience. When you leave her room you feel as though you’re glowing... almost like a new woman. I feel my skin has improved dramatically since using her services. I highly recommend her facials and suggest you book an appointment with her soon.

Set up my appointment for 2 weeks in advance and I had gone through the whole process of confirming that I will be there only for them to cancel on me the day before. I called off work and had to find a salon that would do it on a days notice. I can’t take off many days from work at all. The next day they offered me was an additional weeks wait and I couldn’t make it. I’m truly disappointed.

It is always difficult to trust a new stylist but you have nothing to worry about with Craig at Affinity. I have stubborn hair that can be tricky but it is absolutely no problem for him. It actually has never looked better! He is one of those rare finds that I would trust to do whatever he felt best with my hair instead of me directing him! I have also had some spray tans done here and they have always turned out excellent. Everyone at the salon has been very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Id been going here for years, seeing Nikki, but she recently moved out of state. So I tried a different girl. Today I received the worst haircut Ive ever had. Its somewhere between a pixie and a boy cut, but if you did it with a weed-whacker. Theres sections of short hair, and right next to those long patches. Literally patches.Tomorrow I have to see about getting someone to fix this, at another salon. Been in tears all night.I will never be going back.

I go to David here and hes the best colorist Ive ever been to. And he puts up with my constant indecisiveness with what hair color I want. Lol Ive also been here for waxing and was very happy with the results. Everyone is wonderful here. I love this salon. Im not really one to write reviews, but this place is worth spending the time to write one.

Normally I would give 5 stars but my hair coloring that I asked for was way off. I asked for a golden brown and what I got was like a dark auburn. Normally too they give a short neck massage but I did not receive it this time. She did a great job on my haircut. I will be returning to get my hair color fixed.

I have been going to Affinity off and on for over 15 years and NEVER leave feeling less than fabulous. The few times Ive skimped and gone somewhere else, I always go home and try to spruce it up. Not here. Once again, I booked a last minute appointment and am thrilled with the results. These gals (and guys) are top-notch. I saw Jenna this time and she killed it. I love my hair.

My appointment was with Craig, and let me just say this experience was transformative. Craig really transformed the shape of my hair and how it lays against my face. I have not had this kind of experience before. I requested for Craig to take his vision for my hair considering my face and body and just run with it. Sandra is an expert body wax esthetician. Kind and reassuring and careful to be pain free. Selects the appropriate type of wax for the body area provides a perfect result! I recommend for any novice body wax clients as well as experienced clients.

After bouncing around between salons in Dayton for years, I visited Affinity Salon based on friends recommendation. That was over two years ago and I couldnt be happier. Affinity Salon is always clean, the staff is friendly and there is an attention to detail that you just do not find at other salons. Craig is absolutely the best person who has ever cut and colored my hair. When I have my hair styled for out of town events, the local stylists always compliment his work on my hair!

I love getting my hair done and I am so happy to have found my forever-hair-home! Rose is phenomenal and creative! I show her a picture of what I want and she exceeds my expectations! I’ve been seeing her for my hair needs for a quite a while now and when I first came in my hair was so damaged from previous salons and services and wanting the platinum blonde look; she SAVED my hair while keeping it that platinum blonde! I always look forward to coming in getting a nice cup of coffee, smelling and checking out all the great products, and of course sitting and getting beautified by the talented Rose! Not only is it great service with great results but I’m not in there for too long!Recently I’ve also changed my platinum look to a more rose gold hue and my hair is still healthy and thriving! I rarely have my hair done aside from a $10 trim here and there, Ive been to nice salons but often felt unwelcome and found some stylists to have a snooty attitude so I was nervous when I walked in to Affinity. Immediately I began to feel at ease when I was warmly greeted with a smile, a lovely woman took my coat and showed me to the waiting area with a coffee station. I didnt have to wait long. My stylist Torie, greeted me and gave me a quick tour. Long story short, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Ill never go anywhere else !! I love my hair (ombre color and cut) and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish !!

Craig Burkholder, the owner, hosted a day at the farm for 100 kids and their families from Agape for Youth. Everyone had a great and unique experience. I have been a customer of this salon for over 20 years and it has never disappointed! Customers come first, service is amazing, and the all the stylist are well educated. Paula was not available for my cut, so Kristin helped me and was so pleasant. She did exactly what was asked and did it expertly. This salon is the absolute best!!!! Thank you all!!!

I made an appointment for my 9 year old daughter yesterday. Today when I went to the appointment, I gave her first name and said I had an appointment at 6:15. Candice, the individual at the front desk, told me I didn’t have an appointment and they didn’t do appointments for people who don’t give their last name. I typically do not give out my personal information, which is my choice and is not a city, county, state, or federal law. She then proceeded to accuse me of human trafficking, in front of my daughter.I am completely appalled by Candice’s behavior and Affinty Salon for the treatment I received. Being discriminated against because I’m a man is ridiculous. My wife called to sort it out, as my daughter has been going to this salon for years, even donated her hair to cancer patients and Candice stated, “based on her human trafficking training she received, I was a red flag”. If she truly believed that, training dictates to accept the child and call the police, which she did not do. This is discrimination and I’m completely disappointed.

Rose did an AMAZING job with balayage on my stubborn, dark brown hair! Ive just gotten back to college and Ive received so many compliments from all my friends saying the blonde really suits me and looks super natural! She even rearranged her schedule so she could accommodate me last minute which I could not thank her enough for. So so happy with how it turned out, shes a pro!

Friendly service with great results. Can sometimes be difficult to get appointments if you dont schedule in advance, but its worth it. Recommend for hair color, cuts, updos, and spray tan!

Absouletly I would recommend this salon. The staff are always so friendly. My favorite stylist is Mallory K. Shes been giving me a new style every couple months for over a year now. I feel like a refreshed new me each time.Her talent is just as wonderful as her personality.
