I had an interview with LaKisha for a position, which went well. An interview was set up by G for this past Tuesday, but the hiring manager at UC never showed. I also have not heard back from anyone at Aerotek.I am about to lose my home and my car after taking a medical leave from my previous position, so to not get a response one way or the other is unprofessional and ridiculous. I feel like my time and energy were absolutely wasted.

I have worked with several staffing firms in the past. Aerotek has been one of the best. Samantha Swygart and Monique Walker have been great to work with. They keep looking for best positions for your talents.

Steve made my out of state transition really easy. Having him do the groundwork on companies and going to interviews knowing what to expect made the process so much easier. He kept in mind commute times and the stability of the company to find a company I can stay with for years. Thanks again Steve!

These guys are great, they helped me get my first real factory job when I was unemployed and selling Plasma just so I could have something to eat. Now Im full time and I am planning on marrying my girlfriend here soon. Because of Aerotek and guys like Andres and Micheal, my life has done a total 180 for the better. Anytime I hear about someone needing work or needing a better job I always send them here and they always end up doing something they love that can help make ends meet. When my mom passed away, Andres and Micheal both helped me get some peace of mind because I was worried I would lose my job because I had to take time off. They helped me stay sane and not have to worry about where my next meal is coming from and I cant thank them enough.

I had a great experience working with Aerotek. Ms. Henry, who initially interviewed me and prepped me for my interview with my potential employer was friendly, encouraging and very helpful with suggestions for my formal interview with the company. The interview with the company went very well and I got the job. I would definitely recommend Aerotek in Dayton.

Great company to work for! After speaking with a recruiter over the phone, I was required to meet with her at their office in Vandalia. The initial meeting with my recruiter (Jackie) was somewhat similar to an interview. She went over my resume and qualifications, which helped prepare me for an actual interview. She presented me with multiple opportunities that coincided with the shift, industry, and starting salary I was looking for. I had to provide 3 professional references prior to interviewing with one of their clients. After our meeting, I was scheduled for a face to face interview with one of their clients that same week. My recruiter maintained constant communication with me throughout the entire process. I received an offer letter shortly after my interview and I had to pass a background check and drug screen before I was able to start my new job. The whole process, from my initial phone conversation with Jackie to getting hired, took less than two weeks. Before my experience with Aerotek, I had no idea what a recruiting/staffing agency even was, which made me a little hesitant at first. But Jackie was completely transparent about how the whole process worked during our initial meeting. For the first 4 months at my new job, I was technically considered as an Aerotek contractor (Jackie described this as a probationary period). During this timeframe, my health insurance and payroll was all through Aerotek. By my 5th month on the job, I had transitioned from an Aerotek contractor to an employee of the company I had been actually working at. The only thing that changed was the company name on my paystub. The entire process was awesome. I’ve since learned that other agencies will start you out at a lower pay rate as a contractor, which is essentially how they make money. Aerotek doesnt do that at all, my starting pay as a contractor was no different than someone who was hired directly by the company without working through Aerotek. Jackie explained to me that Aerotek charges their clients a fee for recruiting a qualified candidate for their opening and the role they play throughout the whole screening process. To their client, they kind of function as a third party Human Resources team. It didn’t impact me or make a difference at all, I was just happy that I finally landed a job. I actually liked working through Aerotek because my recruiter brought me lunch from time to time and they paid me every week. From the beginning, my recruiter took the time to fully understand my goals and interests and ultimately helped me find a rewarding career that I’ve now been in for over two years. If I’m ever back on the job market, I’m definitely calling Jackie first.

I originally interviewed with Lekisha Henry. Our first meeting went well. She was working on getting me an interview with a local company. A week went by and there was no all updating me if an interview was possible. Then she started that she could not get a hold of my references and even stated that she had called more then once. I provided her with information through an email communication she replied and stated that she was calling at that time. She never called I was having lunch with my reference at the time she was suppose to be calling, the call never came through my reference had to call her. In addition to that she stated that my referrences didnt match my resume and that made her feel uneasy and she refused to continue to help me. Aerotek may be a good company but I never got the chance to see first had. I had problems straight out the gate. No return phone calls, argumentative reps, no follow thru. She made me feel as if she didnt care for me at all, which made me feel bad.

I’ve had two professional contracts under Aerotek and have been very pleased with the opportunities! The first contract was with a top law firm in the Dayton Area, and the one I’m currently at is with CareSource Dayton.LaKisha identified my strengths and was able to help me obtain experience in fields of my liking! LaKisha is very professional, outgoing and charismatic! I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and build my professional resumé!Thanks and Best Regards,Brandon Whitehorn
