Would give zero star but can’t. This place is extremely unprofessional. I took my daughter here to get her hair trimmed and the stylist kim did do a good job on my daughters hair. So I made a scheduled appointment with her and when I got to my appointment which I made for a reason she was just beginning with a walk in client which would of taken an hour or more. Not honoring your scheduled appointments is completely unprofessional and I’ve NEVER experienced this at any other salon including all the other smartStyle salons I’ve been to. You don’t take walk ins knowing it’s going to interfere with some ones scheduled appointment. What exactly are appointments for if your business doesn’t go by appointments? Which again is completely unheard of. I made sure my schedule was clear specifically for this hair appointment just like everyone else that makes an appointment. Next the stylist who did not honor her appointment handed me over to some one else and I should of LEFT THEN. In all my life I have NEVER had any one mishandle my hair the way this person did. She had Complete disregard for my hair and what she was doing to it. I have never had some one try to tell me I can’t have my hair trimmed the length I wanted it Trimmed (which was a very small amount). I do this with every stylist I’ve ever been to and they cut NO more than what I say and there is no issues . COMPLETELY SIMPLE TASK. This woman actually thought I was going to hold pieces of my hair while she snipped the ends?!?! I thought at first she just wanted to see how much i wanted off but she actually wanted me to hold my hair while she snipped it?!?!!! Again she wanted me to hold sections of my hair while she snipped the ends. I stopped her because how could my hair possibly be even doing this?! She then stated she was Not worried about my hair being even! WELL I AM! THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF COMING TO GET MY HAIR “PROFESSIONALLY” DONE! WHY I DID NOT GET UP AND LEAVE I DONT KNOW! I ASKED HER TO TAKE MY HAIR AND PUT IT TO MY BACK AND DO A STRAIGHT ACROSS TRIM LINE IT UP. AGAIN SIMPLE. SHE COMPLETELY BUTCHERED MY HAIR LEAVING MY HAIR COMPLETELY UNEVEN WITH RANDOM LONGER SECTIONS NOT EVEN TOUCHED. AGAIN I REQUESTED A SIMPLE STRAIGHT LINE . I HAD NO CLUE WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE UNTIL I GOT TO THE MALL AND TOLD THEM MY SITUATION WHEN THEY SHOWED ME THE BACK OF MY HEAD MY JAW DROPPED BECAUSE OF WHAT SHE DID TO MY HAIR! HOW YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF A PROFESSIONAL HAIR STYLIST AND COMPLETELY RUIN SOME ONES HAIR WITH ABSOLUTELY ZERO RESPECT AS TO WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO THEM AND THEIR APPEARANCE IS SICKENING. I HAVE NEVER HAD A “PROFESSIONAL” HAIR STYLIST RUIN MY HAIR WHEN REQUESTING A TRIM AS IT IS THE MOST SIMPLE TASK TO PERFORM AND MY HAIR WAS ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENT DURING THOSE TIMES AND ALL THE OTHER STYLIST DID JUST FINE BECAUSE ITS SIMPLE! I HAD TO CONTACT THE OWNER AND IF THEY DONT RESPOND I AM CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. When I spoke to the manager (Kim) the one who did NOT honor her appointment she of course justified their unprofessional behavior with a we do what we want attitude and there’s no consequences because I’m the manager BS. Who exactly doesn’t go by their scheduled appointments in the business industry and try’s to act like all well?? Theres a reason why people make appointments! And if you can’t execute what some one is asking you to do to their hair then DON’T touch their hair! No ones should have to explain how to do a simple hair trim to some one who works at a hair salon! You are dealing with some ones hair which is a VERY Personal thing. And NOT respecting that or even acknowledging that is completely OUT OF LINE. I HAD TO GO TO THE MALL AND HAVE MY HAIR PROFESSIONALLY CORRECTED THE SAME DAY!!!! COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS! I LOST 3 INCHES OF HAIR WHEN ALLS I WANTED WAS A TRIM! 3 INCHES IS A HAIR CUT!

Very relaxing and it was relatively quick.

Drove 30 minutes to this location after making an online appointment. The lady refused to cut my hair, admitted to not checking the schedule, but offered to reschedule me for the next day. However, why would I drive a total of two hours just for a haircut when I was there 15 minutes before my appointment time. I know that they were closed for several weeks, but they shouldn’t put appointments up if they are unable to accommodate them or they should contact me if they are unable to get me in. Perhaps they should have prepared for a greater volume of customers. Either way, very unprofessional and this is the only time I have experienced this at a barbershop. I will not be back to this specific location. I highly recommend any other SmartStyle location though.

I left there with uneven sides and bangs. I have strands of long hair all over the place. The beautician was more worried about going out and smoking. I would give it zero stars if I could. I will not go back. Not able to get refund till Wednesday and district manager was supposed to call me today and didnt. Cant see her toll Tuesday at Huber Heights.

I always have a great experience when attending this location, The ladies always greet me with smiling faces, Every now and then I have to wait 5 mins after my appointment time to get started but really thats to be expected, I always get braids or a silk press or my eyebrows waxed and the process is always seamless and I definitely feel comfortable and relaxed like a spa feel. Today one of the ladies bought pastries in for everyone and gave that holiday spirit ! The prices are always fair and I always take advantage of the clearance cart near the register or my 4 for $16 for travel products . Thank you ladies and keep changing things 1 client at a time for more positive experiences.

I am giving this salon a 2 only regarding my first encounter. The stylist name is sharon. She treated me unfairly and rude. Did not come to greet me at the door. I asked if I was next and she told me shes not in a rush and that I could leave. Laura instantly took care of me!

Thay were nice but the person doing my hair obviously did not care about anything they were doing she brushed my hair like she only had 30 sec left to live it hurt so bad they were screaming the entire time and blasted shows on there phones. I will not be be going there ever again.

Worst ever ! went to get eyebrows done and makes them super thin ! she clearly wasn’t paying attention since she stopped and went to her phone to answer regarding her insurance. Then insists that was the line of eyebrows even though I have neverrrrr done them that thin and when I show her the pic of last time I did it she kept insisting that’s how thin !! Never trusting them again ! Let alone she could see how think my eyebrows were !!

Terrible terrible terrible. Didnt blow dry my hair when finished, rushed through the whole cut, its so uneven and not what I asked for at all.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EYEBROW WAX.Booked appt through Google, because whenever I call, no one picks up. I got there early to see if they could get me in early, but no one was there nor did I see sign about when they would return. No biggy, Id come back for my actual appt time.I do not have the ladys name, I will try to add it here if Im able to get it. She seemed kind, but my red flag should have been all the questions she started asking me about waxing my eyebrows; normally, I dont have to say anything to the person who does my eyebrows, they just get right to it and clean up what they need to and ask at the end as I look in mirror if it looks good. I would usually just need a few hairs plucked.Bottomline, she had issues seeing my hairs. When she gave me the mirror, I had to keep pointing out hairs she missed and where to even-out until I had to say lets just call it quits when I mentioned a hair to pull, and she pulled out several making my eyebrows uneven. I dont believe she had an eyebrow brush/comb and used a regular small comb when trimming that took off too much.This was THE WORST my eyebrows have ever been done even compared to time I went to a beauty school. Ive had a great experience at another Walmart, but should have paid a little more elsewhere and would have if I wasnt pressed for time to try to get this done before going out of town for my bday the next day.I was thinking to just let it go. I got bangs and could use eyebrow filler, but I dont want anyone else to make the same mistake I did. Also, to let this stylist know so she could either turn down or pass to another any eyebrow waxes ad maybe work on ways to improve on her waxing. Not to be mean, just constructive.

Horrible! Theyl lady was drunk and had the shakes even had to steady her arm on my shoulder. Will never be back again i made her stop and still had to pay even though she only cut two strands of hair. The worst thing was she said she has worked there for yeafs tried to call manager and the number i was given was disconnected. Will never return to walmart hair salon!!!! Worst experience ever.
