My son just got his hair cut by J soul, and his mother and I are very pleased with his cutting skills! We have been let down by so many barbers in the past to where I just gave up and started cutting it myself! Now Im no barber by a long shot. But, sometimes you just have to do what you have to do to get by. This place was by far the best Ive gone to and would like to send a shout out to him and his professionalism. The establishment was very clean and the other staff had me cracking up with laughter, and was very professional as well. If anyone needs a great cut this is the place to be! He only does them by appointments so make sure you call in. My son and I got our haircuts there and he being a little guy (8) J Soul did due diligence. He was gentle, direct, and did justice to a great fade. My wife has been crushing on my son🥰. A mother’s love😀. As one bald head guy to another he did a great shave, and happy to report no irritation after a week. He also took time to give some great grooming tips too. We’ll both be back! This guy does a phenomenal job on a 0-3 skin fade from bottom up and a great trim off the top. He also finished up with a killer line up. Im very greatful he was willing to do the haircut on such a short notice because he was in the process of change a store location. Hes worth your time to give him your service.

We came to Ohio from Wisconsin to visit my In-laws. We had a nice dinner set for later on in the evening and I was still sporting my Covid Hair doo. In other words it was a mess. I checked on line to see what was close to the Hotel we were staying at and thats where I found Jay. He had rather impressive reviews and I really liked what people had to say about him. Not to mention he has the highest rating out of anyone in the immediate area (4.9). I gave him a call and even though it was short notice, he told me to come on down. Being that I am in a Customer service related industry, one of the first things I noticed about him was that he really valued his customers and treated them top notch. The only thing that rivaled his Customer service was his skills! He gave me one fantastic looking cut and braid. One more thing Ive got to say about him is that he Is very reasonable. Ive got to give many thanks to Jay for getting me in and making me look great for the dinner with the In-laws. I received many compliments on the hairstyle. Not to mention my Wife loved it. The only bad thing I can think of saying about Jay is that its to bad hes down here and not in Wisconsin. Id love to have him as my full time Barber!

This place is amazing. I love the fact that there is only one barber here which makes the traffic not as busy as other barber shops. Jay is a Master Barber and can cut any style of hair. In addition, he provides other styling and grooming services including facials, eyebrows, and dyes.The barber here is really knowledgeable. I suggest making an appointment to learn any wait times as he is normally booked and busy.

I made the appointment and didnt show on time so I received a text asking if I was still coming. I responded that I was not coming because I had to be somewhere at a certain time. The owner told me that he would get me in and out in time to be where I needed to be, so I decided to go give it a shot. I am EXTREMELY glad that I did. I walked into the shop not knowing what I was getting into, but I walked out with the BEST cut EVER and a great deal of knowledge. If you want a great cut and some motivation or knowledge or if you just want a GREAT cut, this is the place to go.

Job has set up a fantastic barbershop just on the outside of Dayton! An extremely experienced barber with previous jobs in Miami, Dallas, and New York. The atmosphere is homey yet professional. He is the first person Ive found in Dayton who can do a proper fade and I couldnt have been happier with the way my hair was cut. Would definitely try the straight razor shave next time. Will be going there from now on.

I went to a barber shop in the Dayton area which was a bad choice and then went all the way from Dayton to Hillsboro in the hopes of getting a nice touch up but I still wasn’t satisfied. I looked on google for any suggestions and came across Barbercan fades and shaves. I have to say I wish this barber would’ve been my first choice. He gave me an amazing haircut for a decent price and he really takes pride in his work. I would definitely recommend this barber shop to anyone (children, men and women). Im a hairstylist myself and my 16 yr old son, Brayden, has been begging for a fresh barber fade. ..Well I looked on Google and the closest one was 4 min away. Website was easy to navigate the directions were precise and clear the storefront was eye catching w bright colors. Then we walk in to this hip hop/ grafitti type atmosphere. Jobe (aka) Jay was smiling cutting hair and choppin it up with some young airforce men. He said he would get us right in after he was done with other young men. Brayden had an idea and Jay ran with it. I was so impressed by the kindness, lots of laughs, not judgmental atmosphere. I will probably never cut Braydens hair again because Jay had won us both over. Well worth the price and we even tipped him with dinner, which Jay was very grateful for .. Super chill and laid back Id give 500*s if I could! The cut...well just go try it out for yourself and youll see. ;)
