This is my first and only time writing a review but this place deserves it!!!! My hairstylist was Ivette and just WOW. I came in with terrible at-home pink dyed hair that I needed to change ASAP. Ivette was very raw and honest from the jump and treated me and my hair with care, not once doing anything she felt would cause more harm to it. The end result was astonishing. No matter where I move here in Florida, I still go to her (I actually live 2 hours away now). The salon is friendly and cozy, its very clean. Since you arrived the front desk very organized and customer service is an A plus. You will not be disappointed. This is probably the best place in the city to get a haircut obviously with Ivet.

I have been going to this salon every since Wanda Ivette Q. has been here i follow her where ever she goes, because she is awesome and great at what she does. I love to sit in her chair and she asks me what are we doing today? i then respond Do whatever you like and Wala i leave the salon looking and feeling like a million dollar Rock Star!!!!!However, another mayor reason why i come here to QIU SALON is because as we are all aware of this crazy pandemic we are all facing and its been a challenge to all and especial to business as Hair Salons, and to come to this salon and to see how this salon fallows the CDC guidelines is amazing from you walk in it smells clean and looks clean just as if i was in my own home, hand sanitizers is every where even in the restrooms, the take your temperature ( even thought they already know me but i like it when they do it). Masks are on from staff and customers yes for me its a pain the mask but i also understand the guide lines as i am a Flight Attendant and we have to do the mask thing as workers and passengers, i like the fact my hair is washed staff using gloves at first it felt kinda weird but i got use to it and now i like it its better. i ALSO notice chairs are wiped down after every customer leaves the chair, they all wear their masks when cutting my hair as i do too. For me this Salon is amazing the owner and of course Wanda Ivette Q. is amazing not only getting a great Hair Cut but just to know they care about their customers as well for each other by keeping it Clean, sanitized and safe for everyone is just amazing. BRAVO QIU SALON for an amazing job especially on these difficult times.

Please be aware of this hair salon. I went there 2 weeks ago to dye my hair I arrived at 12 and left at 4:00 only for highlights, they take so long to do it and at the end when was tired to be there, they charge to me for balayage (off course more expensive 😡 ) their job was so bad, my hair looks the same so they charge to me for nothing. Don’t loose your time and your money.

Ive been wanting to get a haircut all this year but I was really scared to go to a salon. I saw them on instagram and I loved all their work! When I called to ask about their protocols for COVID the lady on the phone told me that they make sure everything is clean after every client and when I got there I saw every station had cleaning products and they were constantly cleaning so that made me feel a lot better. I had Marcos and he was so nice and attentive! There was also another lady who blow dried my hair but I dont remember her name I really liked her too! She was blonde and had a bob! Overall I would definitely go there again and if anyone has been contemplating to go to a salon I strongly recommend qui salon! They really make sure everything is clean and seeing that is comforting.

Qiu Salon is absolutely fantastic! It is a beautiful salon that is extremely modern and always kept very tidy and spotless. Before I went to her, my hair was very damaged and not growing from all the coloring I had previously done to it. When I came to Alexia for the first time, she saw how damaged my hair was and she said after coming to her for a bit she promises it would grow and be even healthier. I didnt believe it at first but boy was she right! She colors my hair beautifully and even with product, my hair has grown an insane amount. I absolutely love getting my hair done by Alexia. Luisa is the eyebrow fairy... My eyebrows were non-existent due to over threading. With her guidance and tips on how to naturally grow them back I feel safe in her chair that she wont over do it. Plus her eyebrow tinting allows my makeup routine to go a lot faster and being a mami of two those extra 10 minutes go a long way. Highly recommend Luisa for all your beauty needs.

HORRIBLE! my second time around. I was thinking it will be a great afternoon. I get a text AN hour before saying my hair stylist has a headache that they need to reschedule. Unfortunately for me I am my own boss. I work 80 hour weeks. I cannot just take off to do something. I preschedule my personal life weeks in advance.I get there, they give me another stylist. At first I fell in love with her but then as my roots were setting she goes and does a FULL set of nails for herself. WHO DOES THAT? HOW UNPROFESSIONAL????? While her client is there she is doing her own personal nails. How lucky is that?Seriously disgusted. It turned a 2 hr session into FOUR HOURS!never again!!!

First time at this Salon and with someone new. Its scary to go somewhere new and not know how you will come out. Alexia didnt disappoint. I was a customer when the salon was called Butterfly, but I stopped coming to the salon until recently when I decided to go in for a caramel Balayage before my birthday. My appointment was for 10 am. I was there at 9:50 am. I was told that my stylist Melvin was running late because he was in traffic. He arrived well after 10:30 am. I showed him a picture of what I had in mind, I felt like he brushed me off and didn’t really take a look at what I wanted. That should’ve been my first sign to get up and leave. Then he was storming the place looking for his brush to apply the product to my hair, asking his co workers to call other co workers to ask where was his brush, and I’m sitting in my chair not feeling too comfortable at this point. He doesn’t find his brush, but he finds another brush and starts applying the product all the while mumbling how uncomfortable he is working without his brush, that he likes that specific brush and I’m in my chair hoping that I didn’t make a mistake letting this man do my hair because he’s not making my experience at this point pleasant. I know that stylist’s each have there way of doing things, but I could feel it in my stomach that something wasn’t right when he was doing my hair because I’ve had balayage done before, and never has it taken so long especially because I was there for 4 hours something isn’t right. When everything was all said and done, I ended up with a color that I didn’t want, I tried to mask my disappointment, but he seemed oblivious to it because he was just obsessed with getting me to pose the right way for the perfect pictures which was absolutely annoying because not only were you late, you made me feel like what I wanted didn’t matter, you made me feel uncomfortable with your comments for not having your materials, I didn’t get what I wanted, the whole point of the early appointment was so that I can get out on time to pick my son up from school, so I was running late because you were late, and to top it all off the price was so outrageously ridiculous, but at this point, I’m not going to sit here and argue because I didn’t get the color I wanted because I need to go pick my child up from school. I cried because it’s the day before my birthday, I go with my mind set on something and I come out with something absolutely different. Needless to say, I will never come back to Qui for any service!!

I called on a Saturday to schedule a last minute appt and Mariuxi was super nice and helpful! She scheduled me with Melvin for the same day. When I got there he was really nice and gave me some recommendations, he ended up doing babylights all over my hair (and I have a lot of hair), he really took the time with his assistant Milly to do the best job possible. He took almost 8 hours to do my hair and I never felt he was rushing to get the job done even though it was late and on a Saturday, he really strives for perfection and wants to make your hair look amazing and thats exactly what he did. I LOVE my hair color and my cut, my color is beautiful!!! and on top of that I have to say his customer service is AMAZING! I have been to a lot of salons but this has been one of my best experiences. Thank you Melvin, Mariuxi and Milly! You are all amazing! You all make Qiu an excellent experience!

I have been doing my acrylic nails with Lis for several years. I absolutely love her work. She does my nails exactly how I want them every single time. She uses quality products and my nails last perfectly for my next scheduled refill every 3-4 weeks. She has an amazing choice of colors and mostof all doesnt overdrill my natural nails to minimize damage. For me is what a no brainier to follow her to this new location.
