I knew there was going to be a list of repairs totaling a couple thousand dollars, but they ended up not finding anything wrong. Mid to late summer I brought it to this location (Eastern Ave) for an oil change and to have a noise checked out that the other location didnt spot when inspecting the car. Not only was this Eastern Ave location quick to get me scheduled, but they had professional customer service and the long list of repairs that this location found matched what my old mechanic found before moving and prices were very similar.Since my last visit I have purchased a used car but I will continue to use Jacks on Eastern as my mechanic

I had them diagnose an ABS light on my F-150. They quoted me $575 to replace the 2 front sensors. I checked with another shop (ACE Muffler Clinic), and for the same repair they quoted $245. Less than half the price!I ended up buying the parts for $110 and installing them myself, which took about 45 minutes. Jacks Brakes was going to charge me over $450 for less than an hour of work! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!

My aunt got her car fixed here. The manager was so nice that he didnt even charge her for some of the things that were done to her vehicle! He also gave her a coupon to save her money! Thats great customer service!! This place is great. We will definitely return!

Stopped in for the first time with our 98 dodge ram. We had just bought it but had some issues and wanted them checked out. Matt at the desk was professional and friendly. Had a great attitude and was able to get us in same day. Kept us informed on what was going on with truck and his mechanic was able to solve issue. Gave us a quote on fixing second half of the issue, and over all whole shop did awesome. Definitely going back for any and all future reapirs needed. Highly recommend for servies they provide.

I came here to have my car done but chose to leave when I dealt with the men at the front desk. Matt was making me feel really uncomfortable. Kevin just spoke down to me as of I was an idiot. He didnt seem to care about getting my business. They were both very unprofessional so I took my business elsewhere. Do not come here because their professionalism is terrible.

I did not know where to go for help with my tires and they were the best choice that I could have made. They were honest straightforward and had great suggestions! I definitely would recommend Jakes breaking alignment.

I took my car in to have brakes and tires installed, and shortly after leaving, I watched out my side mirror as the lug nuts popped off one wheel, and the wheel fell off! Someone from the shop quickly assisted, and I brought the car back in for a replacement wheel and complimentary oil change a few days later. The wheel was dirtier than my original, the shop failed to fix the brake disc guard as I asked, and the window sticker indicated the wrong type of oil was put into my car. Would not recommend!

My car was making a loud noise and I was heading out of town quickly, so I stopped in to have it checked out to make sure it was fine to drive before I left town. They quoted me $1500 to fix the car. As this was about 1/2 of my cars value anyway I thought the quote was outrageous. I checked around with other shops and mechanics I know and all reassured me the price was ridiculous. Got the part I needed and replaced it myself for $25 the next day. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Lied about free services and did not contact me about any of the charges they were adding until they already added them. When called out on it, they edited their ad.Refused to lower my bill, even though it was one hundred percent their miscommunication. Though, I feel like it was intentional. They asked me to call and speak with them. When I did, Terry rambled on and on about how labor costs money. I know what labor is, sir. I didnt want any of these services and you should have asked me before dismantling my car. He goes back and forth between explaining its a diagnostic machine, when I ask why a program costs 200, he switches back to they physically took my car apart. When I ask why they did that without permission or even a heads up, back again. The last thing I heard from them before they called and told me they already did all this work and it was over 200 dollars was that they just received my vehicle and will call me when they get a chance.These people are very dishonest.It isnt a garage, its a very well run scam that is just operating on the side of the law. But only just.

Moving to Davenport from Southern California put a lot of wear on my tires. The winter out here is no joke. My husband and I found Jacks online and decided to get new tires for my car. It was the best decision we made. Matt was very helpful in answering all our questions. Service was quick and efficient. I’ll be back soon for other services in the future. The experience was great! We came in to get our brakes fixed and when it was clear that we couldnt afford to fix both the front and back brakes we got the generous surprise of having a hundred dollars knocked off our bill for fixing up the front set of brakes. Thank you so much! It was very generous of you guys to do such a kind thing. The service was quick done around three to four hours after we first brought our vehicle in. The low battery flashing indicated trouble on my trip along I-80 in Davenport. Jacks assured me they would check it out and within 2 hours had the problem diagnosed and installed a new alternator. Service was outstanding, shop is clean and well organized. Reasonable repair rates. I would highly recommend them.

Jacks Brake & Alignment on Eastern Avenue replaced all 4 of my brakes and did extensive suspension work on my 2009 Impala. The work was affordable and completed within a few days. The staff were very friendly and broke down what repairs I needed and why. They also gave me a 10% discount (up to $100) for being a college student and tons of points that I can use to redeem for future maintenance items, i.e. oil changes.

I want to thank Jack’s Brake & Alignment for taking care of my flat tire problem today. I was traveling from out of town and they were so good to check my tire. Unfortunately it wasn’t repairable, and they didn’t have my tire brand in stock & would have to order one. Since I wasn’t local, they put my spare on for me. Graciously they didn’t want to charge me anything. If I ever have a need for a repair or service, I would definitely recommend these guys. THANKS AGAIN, Kevin/Matt!!!!!!

Being new to the area I reached out to AAA for service and after speaking to Kevin at Jacks Brake on Eastern which is recommended by AAA I felt very comfortable that I was going to get my needs met. They did not disappoint. Kevin addressed what I needed done and explained how much and how long and did a complete inspection. I am completely satisfied with the service they performed on my vehicle and highly recommend them.

Manager Kevin was great.We were towed in on 4th of July weekend , with a dead car, immediately they determined we needed a alternator and they handled it right away .He welcomed our dog in on a hot day and made us very comfortable in their waiting area. Then he helped his only weekend tech to do our job..We were just passing thru a 1000 miles from home but we were treated as if we we regular local customerService was fast and professional......Kevin and staff turned a possible catastrophe for our family into a pleasant memory !!

BEEARE BEEARE!!! The brake job was botched, turned rotors that had no business being machined. Charged me over $1000 and now I have to get it fixed correctly. Have your vehicle checked after you leave or dont go at all they WILL PUT YOUR SAFTEY AT RISK AND ARE DISHONESTI filed with the federal trade commission and filing with the better business bureau as well as filing a court claim

Only here in quad cities a few months...looking to get oil change. Got a flyer in the mail from Jacks. Am really happy I tried them. Kevin was very knowlegable and explained their service really well. Kim was helpful and courteous also. Kevin informed me that after doing safety check on my 2005 Honda accord that I needed a new cabin filter. He brought the old one out and showed me how dirty it was. I am sure I will be back to have any work done. For sure are 5-star in my book!!! Thank you much!!!

I made an appointment to have my brakes looked at. Once the inspection was done Kevin let me know that they found something else wrong that wasnt major and didnt need to be fixed right away. He explained to me in detail what else was wrong so that I understood it. I was very impressed and happy to get my brakes fixed right after having the inspection. Usually I have to make another appointment, but I got my brakes done in an hour and a half. Kevin was friendly. My overall experience was wonderful.

As a young female I get really sketched taking care of mechanical issues by my self. I went to Car X and they gave me a list a mile long with outrageously priced repairs. I came here and they told me its just my back breaks and I need an new air filter. 😭 very friendly and nice gentlemen not over priced. 10/10 reccomend.

I put some new inner and outer tie rod ends on my vehicle plus a CV axle in the front of my Camry and needed all 4 wheels on car balanced... he took me in with no appointment and got it done for me very quickly so I could be on my way.. very courteous service..

So less than a year in, I already need new brakes, they have squealed since I got them in Feb 2020, cust Serv was passe, very disappointing. Will not go back here, I do not recommend at all.

We were unfortunate enough to breakdown in IL on our cross country move from NC to OR but as luck would have it Bryce came to our rescue and picked us up at 2am. He hauled our car, us and large dog to his shop and had recommendations for hotels nearby. Things don’t always go as planned but Jacks is going to be there for you!

Complete and total rip off. My wife and I had a blown engine replaced. We took our SUV into Jacks for repairs. After numerous delays and several extra charges to track down why the Air conditioning wasnt working, we left thinking our vehicle was good to drive. By the way the air still didnt work. We drove home, & the engine overheated. I called Jacks and they wanted more money to solve this new problem & informed me it was probably the radiator or thermostat or whatever. Having been already rung through the cleaners over paying for the engine, I told them I would get back with them. I Had to save up more money. I let the SUV sit undrivable for a month while acquiring the funds. On a chance encounter at HYVEE I ran into a friend whom works on cars. I took the vehicle over to his garage, carefully because it overheats, and had him look at it. After a quick inspection he told me the engine was blown. I of course was in disbelief as was my wife. After numerous conversations with the rudest staff in the QC area we ended up in court. Jacks, actually admitted in court they installed a faulty engine stating they had never checked it. (By the way, they got it from Hickory Grove Junkyard, no offence Hickory, but I guess I was expecting something rebuilt from a factory or something) but since the warranty expired in 30 days it wasnt there problem. I insisted they never actually fixed the problem in the first place. They simply replaced a bad part with a less bad part. The judge told me she felt bad but since the warranty was 30 days I was out of luck. It didnt matter that we never drove it. In court I learned Jacks could care less about there work. Once they have your money the customer service stops. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. My mom loves TNT auto, I should have listened to her. So in conclusion, to any and all Jacks representatives reading this. By all means go F#@K yourself. If I have prevented even one prospective client from using your horrific service I will consider this a victory.P.S. Jacks makes you sign some paperwork before they will work on your vehicle. It states that your not allowed to make negative comments about them online (insecure?) Ill refer all Jacks representatives to my previous F#@K yourself.
