I have gone to this location for years. They always fix my car quickly and at fair prices. Had an issue with my car that could have $1400 but they had a solution to get it done for around $450. Service like this is the reason I keep going back.

Frank was absolutely amazing at explaining everything and going over the problem with our trucks alignment (which turns out to be a bad tire problem). Knowledge is power and he was so great about educating me instead of just blowing off my concerns. I’m so glad we decided to trust Meineke and will definitely be coming back for our regular maintenance and repairs for all of our cars.

I’ve had a lot of work done at Meineke and I’m generally pleased with it. I appreciate getting follow-up messages from them checking to see if their repairs fixed the problem. But when I had my front brakes replaced 7 months ago, I still heard the metal screeching. I drove it less and then when I could, took the car back to Meineke and was told the brakes had been installed incorrectly. Had them replaced again, but had the same problem. Took the car elsewhere and find that the same parts are rubbing together when they shouldn’t. Again, I’ve mostly had good luck at Meineke, especially for routine maintenance like oil changes. But I’m taking my car elsewhere for more complicated problems.

Frank and his guys were a life safer for me! Long story short. He did what no one else could in a day! I am pleased and very thankful I came to his place for this repair!

Great service on a Saturday. They really helped us out of a bind when my Son’s truck needed a new radiator on his way back to college.

Traveling all the way from Reno, Nevada to Cleveland, Ohio and our check engine light came on. Didnt want to risk it driving all the way to Ohio so when we reached davenport I called these guys and told me to come on in. They were booked with appointments but they asked them if itd be okay to move their appointment to tomorrow (today of posting this) so they could get us back on the road and not be stranded. Got us in and out within 2 hours and now our car is running better than before. Thank you to everyone here for getting us back on the road so quickly so we can make it to our grandmas birthday!

Had a better experience the 2nd time. Frank was great at getting a hold of me to see the issue was addressed turned out to be faulty radiator which he made sure was replaced with a new one couple weeks later no leaks and my vehicle is running great! Frank definitely sees his customers are well taken care of and satisfied! Will go back in future.

I had a competitor charge my AC with coolant. They did not know what they were doing and put in too much, which can damage to the system. I called Meineke in a panic. They fit me in right away and fixed something that had blown out, charged my AC properly, and had me on my way an hour and a half after the other guy failed miserably. Not only that, the cost was less than $80! From here on out, Meineke is going to do my mechanical repairs.

I use to go to Jacks but now Ive been using meineke. Service is good. I dealt with the main manager and another manager that comes from Muscatine, both seemed pretty cool, workers work is good, and havent had any issues w/services at this time. Ill bring my MKX, charger, and Journey back again.

I was in the market for new tires and to have some light maintenance done on my car. I had several suggestions from people so I reached out to Frank at the Elmore location and told him some of my concerns. He said he’d get the tires in and take a look at my car. Having everything done at one location was easy and Frank wasn’t pushy. He was honest, upfront and went over everything with me. Everything was done pretty much over the phone so it was very safe for everyone and so easy. Him and his crew truly care about you, your vehicle and making sure you are safe to be on the road. Thank you for such an easy and wonderful experience with very little stress!

Went to have oil change and they checked my fluids and top off,rotated tires and filled then and put up sticker to remind me next change. Let me know of another problem but said dont worry about it now. Said to save the money. I like a honest person I dont know. Great way to be able to count on later.

Very professional! They told me the problems and was honest about what needed to be done to make sure my children and I were safe! Had it towed to them Monday afternoon and got it back Wednesday, they were quick to get it in and fixed.

My experience with meineke has always been great

We had to decide about investing in a variety of repairs for a vehicle we were uncertain how long we would keep. Frank worked diligently to keep us updated on repairs that could wait, but some that were more critical. I felt he spent extra time to give a thorough assessment and have the repairs well taken care of.

My shifter cable bushing broke. I paid someone else to fix it and he made it worse. The guys here quickly got me in a fixed it. Thanks guys

Took my car to get my AC fixed. Unfortunately it was an expensive fix, I thought I’d leave there with a still broken AC- but they worked with me to get me an affordable payment plan which allowed me to fix my ac!They were completely honest, helped me work through my options to make the best decision for me. Took the time to talk it through, reimbursed me for a rental car while they fixed my car, and I left there fully satisfied.Very Trustworthy and very helpful!

I originally was quoted outrageous prices from the other place, but additionally; work that was not necessary. Great service everytime. I like to work on my own vehicle and they fix it correctly after I mess it up everytime. Compared to other shops these work at light speed. Which is 186,000 miles per second btw.

Had my truck towed in on Friday, Todd told me they’d have it in Monday morning to be looked at. They got it in Friday and knew what the problem was and started working on it first thing Monday. My AC compressor had seized and they got that fixed Monday but the AC still didn’t work, brought it back Tuesday morning and Jay had the problem figured out in about 15 minutes all fixed and out the door. I drive for work so having my truck working is essential and these guys knew what they were doing, had me feeling like I was at my regular home mechanic even though it was my first time there and was overall one of the best shops I’ve had my truck into. Highly, highly recommend anyone in the area using this location for their mechanical needs.

I dropped my truck off for an oil change and was asked if I made an appointment, I didnt have one but was told they would get me in as soon as they could. Great bunch of guys, very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone!!!

They did a full brake inspection for no cost. There were so many problems on my 15 year old vehicle that the cost was out of range of what I could afford.

We found the Meineke in Davenport Iowa to be very helpful. When our sons car had issues and needed a part and the part couldnt be ordered anymore because car was so old, Frank one of the mechanics came up with a solution that work really well. The car is still running today. We appreciate him coming up with a solution and working through that problem for us.We have our oil change there regularly and this last time I got a free oil change because had enough reward points accrued for it. We appreciate the service we get there!

The entire staff did a great job. Very clean shop, friendly staff, a great experience overall. I arrived a bit early, they got me right in, and I knew to the penny what the cost would be before they started. They have my business 100% in future.

The Davenport Meineke is run by a great group of guys. Theyre honest, which can be hard to find in that industry. They also do good work. Having a place I can take my car were I can trust their word and they work is such a relief for me!!! Takes a lot of stress off of me as a car owner.

The staff was extremely professional, honest, and attentive. They throughly explained the problem areas, and provided multiple options while making a recommendation based on their findings.

They did a very thorough job, explained what needed to be done and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule.

I will continue to use Meineke Car Care because I trust their work. I have recommend them to my friends and family. They are not the cheapest but trust goes a long way with me.

I like you guys and are always able to work me in. You let me know about issues you find but dont try and feed me worst case scenarios. Always courteous and informative. I rarely give 5 stars so 4 stars is really good. Keep up the good work.

Excellent customer service, excellent quality. I won’t go anywhere else. They work very hard to make sure you get taken care of. They have done everything from oil changes to header rebuilds for me. Always in a timely manner. And always with good communication if they find anything unexpected, no surprise bills, nothing done you don’t want done. And they have been nothing but friendly and honest. I have been a proud customer for over 10 years.

They will pass on their inconveniences to you, the customer. I had a horrible experience trying to get tires installed through this shop. I used an online company, Simple Tire, and they work by shipping their tires to an install vendor near you. Through their online site, I lined up this Meineke shop for Saturday morning. I paid in advance and in full, including the $100 to Meineke for their install.After I left the car at the shop Saturday, they called me back to tell me they couldnt find their payment from Simple Tire. I showed them the receipt from the company clearly showing that I had already paid, but their response was clear and simple: We wont do anything unless were paid first. I explained that I really couldnt wait, as I had a cross country trip upcoming and that was cutting things too close--no dice.I had to return home, call Simple Tire customer service (Meineke said they werent able to reach anyone but I got someone in 5 minutes). Simple Tire apologized and asked me if I would pay them again out of my own pocket. They told me that they would reimburse me for my cost first thing Monday when business hours opened. I did so.Picking up my car involved a 10 minute discussion where the owner tried to convince me that it was everyone elses fault. Ive had arguments with my 13 year old daughter that were less obnoxious. I have owned a business myself, and I am well aware that there are glitches and unforeseen problems that arise. Franchise headquarters will connect their businesses to others with little warning to the little guy. But at any point the owner of the shop could have looked at the clear receipt and figured this was a hiccup with the corporate office. They could have tried harder to contact someone at Simple Tire, or installed the tires then and there and figured things out Monday (again, we are talking about $100).Instead, they chose to pass along Meinekes problem to their customer. I cant recommend a business that does such things.

Came in with the intention of using the coupon that they promote here on Google maps & that you can find on the official Meineke website (with their Elmore address cited) yet the clerk said both were invalid though their expiration dates are until 2021. Wasnt asked about the type of vehicle I had until after the coupon was denied so the make/type of car had nothing to do with it. Theyre probably fishing for folks with their advertised coupons so call-in to check before they waste your time, or go elsewhere.Besides that, the clerk was not wearing a mask to prevent Covid-19 spread so take that into consideration if you have loved ones.

My husband and I have older cars and they need work on them every so often. I feel comfortable bringing my car into this location. They are always so nice and willing to slow down and explain to me a non car person what is actually going on with my car in terms I will understand, yet they don’t make me feel dumb for not understanding. I needed a headlight bulb changing and the car I own needs the bumper removing so it’s a big job for what it is! I managed to get in the same day and they did the job quickly and it didn’t break the bank! I’ll definitely be going back here for my car needs.

They were extremely nice and didnt take as long as I thought either. My only complaint was how they parked my van when they were done. It was over 100 degrees that day, and they parked my van pointed towards the sun with all windows up, my van was way too hot for my boys and I to get in to right away. We had to let the van run to try and cool off for at least 10 minutes and even then it was unbearably hot on the drive home.

I was in a hurry as I needed a car on the weekend to go to Chicago. They got me in right away. Did great work. Also they explained it to me in a way that made sense. I trust them.

I called to get in for a same-day appointment and get pricing for an oil change and tire rotation. the price for both was $35 (conventional oil change and tire rotation) which was much less than anywhere else, no coupon needed. The person who took car of me was very friendly and professional. I will definitely return for my auto maintenance.

Scheduled oil change in the morning was in and out for an oil change in a half hour. People are friendly and take the time to educate. Thank you for great service!
