The good reviews are fake. I know that for a fact. They are trying to evict, illegally, some tenants. Just because they want to rent the place at a higher price. The tenants I am talking about are peaceful and quiet and always pay their rent on time. They have not done anything to deserve to be evicted. Their lease expired after a year, they opted to go month to month and have paid rent on time. Without talking to them, they taped a notice on their apartment door saying that they had to be out in 30 days. The original lease said they could go month to month. It also said that the apartment Managment will give them two months notice to move out. The manager is been completely inflexible and is blocking them form getting a contract sign with another complex. The other complex have tried to repeatedly reach out to verify that they are renting at Grande Pointe Apartments and they are not answering the calls. What does the manager wants, put them in the street without allowing them to find another place to live? You should not be doing what you are doing. You should be more considered of tenants that have been paying rent for 3 years. There are laws that protect people.

Grande Pointe is awesome. Friendly staff and a great office manager. Ive lived here over a year and am very pleased with my apartment and experience. If you are looking for a great place to live, come join our little community.

This place is amazing! The apartments may be older but they have done very well turning this place into a place I can call home. The office and maintenance staff are by far the best I have had to deal with out of all of the apartment complexs I have lived. It is in a great location on the lake with many activities. The office staff is always stopping by the pool to pass out goodies everyday. They have made great progress with renovations and are very let friendy I would recommend this apartment community for anyone.

This is a wonderful little community with a beautiful lake view. The staff is always super nice and friendly. The manager and leasing agent are very warm and kind and make you feel at home from the moment you meet them. The maintenance and grounds staff are extremely polite and courteous and seem to take much pride in their work. I don’t think anyone could ever regret living here.

We moved into grande pointe a year ago, we’ve have minor problems along the way but when heather came into the office we talked to her one time and within the week the problems were fixed. Anytime I need something rather is big or small heather fixes the problem. She’s very understanding and helpful.

Negatives: The apartments are old. Floors are warped. Windows have no screens. Plumbing leaks, and appliances in my unit are outdated. They are overpriced for the condition they are in.Positives: The office staff are friendly, and the maintenance staff does a good job with what they have to work with. The area is wonderful with many activities and good shopping. Close access to I-10. Lastly, The rent includes good internet and ok cable.

I have lived here 6 months and am ready to move. The so called renovations are not what you would expect. They just paint right over the mold and call it fixed. Abigail in the office in the only decent thing about this place. The new property manager is rude. This place is total trash and I would not suggest anyone live here.

Nice and quiet at night, and a very family friendly place to have kids... especially the pool!!! Elevate has great renovated apartments right on the water in Daphne. Its off of the main path, but easy to get to shopping and dining in the area. Kristin and Karlie have added fun activities and there is a great fire pit area as well as a beautiful pool. Maintenance is great and takes care of needed items with a smile.

This place has come along way! The residents are wonderful, the location is peaceful, beautiful, and makes you feel right at home!

Lived here since January 2016 and overall Ive found it a very pleasant place to live. Since the new management took over amazing updates have been happening all over the property. Much needed upgrades are taking place. I got a new floor on my deck as well as other random much needed fixes were fixed right away. And my rent went down! It was already a great rate so this is even better!

Been living here over 3 years, when my wife and I first moved in it was decent here just had issues with having hot water in the shower. Management and maintenance responded quickly. Since new management and maintenance took over, poor response, put in I have a water mark and potentially a leak almost 2 months goes by before anyone showed up just to spray and cover up the spot on the ceiling. Theyre more focused on getting more tenants than taking care of people already living here. And parking is terrible.

Seems like the only thing that really ELEVATED was the prices. While Ill agree the new appliances in the remodeled homes are better they still do not warrant the EXTREME price hike. The rent of my one bedroom apartment went from $640(not including the additional $90 cable/trash/water fee) to $775 (not including the additional $90 cable/trash/water fee), a difference of over $1500 a year. For what exactly?... And even with the new appliances, there are still internal flaws that need addressed: from weak areas in the floors to painted over water spots on the ceiling. New management isnt responsive at all. No one hardly ever answers the phone as no one is hardly ever in the office! This place is a joke and not worth the price ESPECIALLY seeing as there are no amenities (aside from the small pool) and the car care center, which is literally two water hoses TAPED together and a broken vacuum looks like its going to rust apart any day now. Looks dont matter as long as it works right? Well, it doesnt work either.

Theyre doing a renovation right now, new appliances, granite countertops, new paint and flooring, wood burning fireplaces, everything looks great! Theres a beautiful lake on the property, its secluded in the woods, but close to shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and adjacent to a golf course! This place is awesome, the office staff are very helpful and friendly, they even allow pets! If youre looking for a quiet comfortable place to live, look no further!

I lived there for three years. The staff was great. Work orders were handed promptly. Property is nice and kept up. It was my first time living in apartments. It is what you make of it. We were active in the community and made a lot of good friends. We participated in all of the contests around the hollidays. The only reason we left Was a bigger place.

It was terrible when i first moved in with my a/c and a whole lot of other issues that were not addressed upon my move-in. After living here a few weeks i was ready to get the h*** out. But a new manager came along and changed my whole perception. They put a brand new a/c in my unit and sprayed the whole attic with insulation which made the apartment very comfortable. There still are a few other small issues but im okay with it now cause they are renovating the whole property and i know they will eventually get them taken care of. Karlie is awesome to, she went above and beyond...even when the “old” manager was here. Thanks u for everything :)The management and maintenance is what makes or breaks a property.I defiantly recommend living here :)

My girlfriend and I are upgrading to a bigger apartment during the management switch and they’ve honored the original agreement even though it’s not what would have happened if I was new here. They’re so accommodating to making things work for me. It’s truly a pleasure to live here. Sure when I first moved here it has its fair share of problems, but they’re slowly fixing this place up (new carpet, appliances, fixing the potholes in the road) I’m glad I stuck around to see grande point “elevate” to greater heights.

These the worst apartments Ive ever seen and lived in! Way to over priced for cheap quality..... The fix it guy DID NOT do his job! The lock broke on the front door and he broke the sliding glass door in an attempt to get in then kicked in the front door. Might I add that was NEVER fixed, both doors were still broke at the time of my leaving. I lived in apartment 3304, upstairs. When you would take a bath and/or shower the tub would leak into the girl that lived below me bathtub. The fix it guy fixed it with duck tape..... There was also a lady that lived across from the pool who was supposedly looking after everything was absolutely rude! I would be in the pool and she would come out and harass everyone with off the wall questions that she had no right asking. For some reason there were holes in the walls all throughout the apartment, they had been patched up, but poorly. All together it was just awful! NEVER AGAIN! Spare yourself the headache and find another apartment that is worth your money and piece of mind. Only good thing about this place is that I lived above an Alabama fan. Roll Tide!

I’ve lived here for a little over six months and this is what I’d rate this complex based on what has been observed thus far. If I were only rating these apartments based on the staff, it would be a solid 5/5. They are a very friendly and helpful staff. The office girls are always genuinely concerned with correcting any issues you may address with them and maintenance works hard to fix problems within your apartment as soon as possible. While the staff is friendly, the overall improvements being made seem to be poorly prioritized and planned. We’ve been required on three separate days to have pets locked up for contractor and maintenance entry for very random upgrades. Toilet replacement when the toilets (at least mine) show no issues, a newer thermostat in place of an already pretty new thermostat, and light bulb and shower head swaps. Again, none of the existing items in place were causing any issues. The toilet replacement may have been to reduce water consumption but the toilets replacing the old ones were a different shape and size, so now there is a very obvious paint line from when the walls were painted with the old toilets in place and a small section of the vinyl flooring is missing leaving a bare spot on the sub flooring because of the difference in shape between the two toilet bases. Personally, I and several of my friends who live here all agree that the renovations/upgrades could have prioritized more important work or at the very least minimizes the number of times we needed to give access to our units and lock up our pets. The bathroom, laundry area, and kitchen spaces that by code require GFI outlets do not have them. This is something that could have been done in lieu of or in addition to some of the frivolous work completed. The parking lot is absolutely terrible between the potholes, speed bumps, and awkward hills, it is very hard to stay within the 5 MPH speed limit to leave the complex. Correcting this should really be highly prioritized. The sidewalks in the complex are very inconsistent and random. Many of the sidewalk areas are merely small sections that end abruptly making it very hard to walk your dog or walk around in general. Sure, you can walk around the grassy areas of the apartments but there is a really large issue with that. You must constantly watch where you are stepping because it seems that the majority of dog owners living here refuse to pick up their dogs’ waste. I’ve stepped in dog waste more times than I’d like to think about, and I’ve even seen it left on the ground five feet away from one of the dog stations. I really wish the complex would enforce a fining system for those found to be leaving it on the ground and maybe even have maintenance go around in the mornings to do some groundskeeping. The dog park here is pitiful, one of the main amenities I found appealing and used as a major deciding factor to lease here. It wasn’t constructed and open when I moved in but I was told it wouldn’t be long after. When I saw the dog park, if you can even call it that, I was very disappointed. It’s so small that it really only works for dogs under 15 pounds. It’s not a grassy area, just a fenced in 10 feet by 10 feet if I had to guess, filled with pine straw. I’ve been there once. I went in, looked around, shuffled my feet and stumbled across a couple glass beer bottles and haven’t been back since for fear that my dog will get hurt playing in there and lack of space for my dog to even run. There are a few grassy, open areas that could have been better utilized for a dog park that can actually be enjoyed by furry friends. And judging by the amount of dog waste I see scattered around the property everyday, I imagine there are a lot of dogs who could really benefit from a better fenced in area. I don’t think that these issues are solely the cause of the staff on site. I think they try very hard to make this a nice place to live, but they don’t have a large staff here, and disrespectful, dirty residents/irresponsible pet owners don’t help make matters better.

Terrable experience, would not rent from them again. Renters beware.

Just finished living at Elevate Grande Pointe Apartments for almost three years. After a drive by shooting, bug infestations, and misappropriation of funds by previous management, I stuck with the apartment. The new apartment advertisements show granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and hardwood floors. My apartment never received improvements in those 3 years yet new management has found the funds to remodel the leasing office. Now the same management are charging me $1,200 to replace the entire carpet because of one tear between the bedroom and it’s closet. I hope this charge isnt to brunt the cost of any new remodeling to the apartment after I’m no longer a tenant.

Customer service from the office is bad.-Example- They never call you back when they say they will. Hard to get in touch with. Dont fullfill request that often. Theyre supposed to close at 6pm but leave before or at 5:30. So its hard to get my packages because of my work schedule. Which I get home around 5-6pm.They remodeled the apartments but Arent properly done.-Example- they paint over the old paint without sanding down imperfections like cabinet corners and dont pull down bad wallpaper.Doors falling off hinges and fans not refixed/realigned, floors falling apart. Aircondictioning leaking.. Etc.They also leave the apartments doors open for days to let mold, bugs and pest in creating more problems while they work on them.They need a proper contractor to inspect everything thoroughly before renting them out for there high rent prices.Been here a while now and the old and new company dont seem very good. Hope all this gets acknowledged and fixed. Thanks.

This is the worst place to live. The management staff is rude, cantankerous, and doesnt follow through on things needed to be done and they wont return your call. Over the last month I have put in several requests for maintenance. To this day, nothing. The management staff has failed and refused to facilitate my transfer request, stole my satellite dish and defrauded me. I have since instituted a housing discrimination complaint against this apartment complex.

Postives = New manager is very nice and the apartments are big with great storage . The lake is beautiful and it is a very quiet peaceful area . Negatives = They do not tell you or advertise the $800.00 a month late fees they charge . It is a $100 fee on the 4th and another $700 on the 14th .The buildings are old and have non stop issues with plumbing , heating and cooling and with no insulation and old windows your power bill was always ridiculously high . Our 1st 2 months there we did not have a working air conditioner and that was in July and August . Our ceiling kept falling through into our bathtub because the neighbors upstairs had a leak from their tub drain and it poured into our bathtub every time they showered .... and it was supposedly repaired 3 times within our first few months there but was still a issue with a large hole in our ceiling and still had the neighbors tub draining down on us 6 months later when we moved . The area is great but not worth the price for what you get there . Granite countertops and new but cheap appliances do not make up for the headaches and price .

No BS , this place sucks, former military so lived in some shitty conditions, third day with no water, no toilet or shower. The minions that you call refer you to a help ticket that never pans out. The emergency line is a loop that has no results. The pool is a mosquito pit. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, do not move here unless you need cheap rent for a few months and then move out, I literally have lived all over this country and this is BY FAR THE WORST

Ive had water damage in my apartment three separate times in the 3 years Ive lived here, the first two times took maybe three days tops to have someone come in, do a patch job and call it done. A leak started on March 31st, and they were notified on April 2nd (it was Easter weekend) after I showed them the mold that had grown all over the top of the wall and ceiling last week they came in to remove the sheetrock, only to let it sit exposed and now Ive got more mold growing! Save yourself the hassle, the price may look nice, but these apartments and each new set of management they get every year are a nightmare. It never gets better.

Coming from the Bay Area googled apartments. Very sucluded. Got here oh my gosh. Nothing like website. All the building are covered in pure green stuff. Saw cats under cars. Buildings were abandoned. The price of bedrooms are 1,000 noooooooooooooo way possible maybe 200 dollars. Please don’t come or travel to this place. I’m saving you a cv joint and gas.

Daphne is a great place. These apartments are too expensive. The websit is different from the look of the actual place. Btw the pothole almost damaged my car. Would not recommend.

Place was infested with roaches every summer I was there. Also had a raccoon that came through the crawl space. Always heard this noise above me and thought it was the neighbors pet above. One day I opened the door to my water tank, only to see the raccoon sitting on the tank. Went straight to the office and was told that Im in the South and in a wooded area. Wouldnt stay there again.

I have lived here for over 3 years and love my apartment! The management staff is amazing!

Though the staff is very nice, we have had endless problems in two units. Our first one flooded through the foundation, so they moved us free of charge to a second story unit on the lake. The building shakes violently anytime a dishwasher is in use, and just last week our breaker box caught on FIRE due to old equipment. The crew hasnt come back since to do further repairs or to cover the gaping hole in our wall.

If you have live here while Fran and Abby were here, you better get an account statement because I guarantee it will not match your bank statement. These were the biggest liar and thieves that I have ever known forget the fact that maintenance never got done because they were pocketing money but would tell residents the owner was broke and trying to sell the properties so thats why all the surprise fake inspections. Check your credit report also because they hit me and my husband with credit cards and cell phones. The way they were getting away with was by breaking into my mailbox, how they were the only one with a mailbox keys. Lets not forget about pill popping Abby who was entering my apartment and stealing my medication and when I question good little Fran she was all of a sudden in rehab. The new management were a charm very nice people trying to get everything organized. When I was giving status updates with what my attorney was finding and everything they were all ears to help with their case asking me if I would be a witness etc. Sure they knew me by name but as soon as I need a statement saying that the con artist worked there and to verify an email that was sent from Fran from her corporate email address then its well to be honest Ive only met you a couple times but before then I was your girl and now they cant write a letter about their previous thieving employees who by the way have public records of stealing and fraud. You never win when you play dirty. They just woke up a big mouth sleeping giant.Update to owner response: As I previously stated on several occasions the police report that I had filed was for theft of debit, breaking into mailbox, and the cash payments that were requested and stolen. The second attempt of calling the police out I was told all calls and reports were going directly to the ongoing investigation and is notated. Since the email that I received was during the timeframe of when the former employees were still working there my assumption was that the followed through by sending it to the proper designation but of course they didnt or i would not be bringing it up. I did get go the local police department and I was told since she former employee did not mention a specific name than you can not technically charge anyone. But now you all can not speak on what they did because you were not there. But when I was bringing in receipts and documents everyone was willing to take what would help build your own investigation but now you dont know me. Which is fine by me. Ive only met you a couple of times and I tell you give me all the info you have but I dont know you.

Full of mold!!! The tub is coming up. Flying cockroachs flew over my head while I was eating. It’s a construction zone outside. The stair way is falling apart. They are pressure washing mold off the buildings🤢🤢🤢🤢 the new management is just as bad. The floors are coming undone. You can literally fall through. They are redoing the outside but the inside needs to be re-done also. The lake is near the sewage plant. The water is very unsafe to drink. It’s gray and a dark white color. There are so many stray cats around🧐🧐. MOLD is covering every window in this complex. You can find dog poooppp in your front yard. JUST AWFUL.

I just moved to Daphne and decided to check these apartments out despite the bad reviews (mistake #1). When I pulled into the complex I noticed that the pavement was very uneven, it was almost like riding a roller coaster and there were also NO parking spaces. Even the space for potential residents was full so I had to park at a building across and walk over. As I was walking over cars zipped by me speeding like mad and some were blasting their radios. There was dog poop everywhere and trash around the bins and the complex. Despite this, I went on in to view (mistake #2). The apartments look NOTHING like online aside from the appliances. The paint job looks like it was done by a 2 year old, there were cracks and holes that needed patching everywhere, it smelled funny, the floor had sunken spots in it, amd the bathroom ceiling looked like it was about to fall in. If you are looking to move here I advise you to listen to the reviews and dont. This place should be condemned!

I wrote a review for grande pointe a couple of weeks ago saying that my mom was getting grande pointe off it’s feet. Now I’m going to say she hasn’t disappointed me even under new ownership she stays the same tolerant manager that raised me and my brothers while doing this which is near impossible so well done

Fran is amazing not a crook , shes one of the best apartment managers ive had the pleasure of meeting ! :)-as im reading the reviews, I wonder if you say this is this worse place you have ever lived.... then why live here, to me this is one of the best places i have lived bc it provides me with a chance to meet new people and help the community , if your going to complain, then please at least have some respect. Complaining does nothing, Be thankful you have a roof over your head :)

Unless you want to live with MOLD and get your car destroyed by POT HOLES I suggest you go elsewhere! (See pictures!) Those are real pictures from my apartment. I reported the problem and it took them ALMOST A MONTH to fix it. All maintenance did was scrape the ceiling (there is still a hole in the ceiling where more water can come through and there is still a leak in the window (hence the mushrooms growing)). And I can see where they previously used paint to cover the problem instead of actually fixing it. Go elsewhere! Theyll pretend to care about you but once you sign that lease its over

Worse place to live. The only thing they really have is a pool. If you want to do damage to your vehicle please just drive though the complex were the potholes will do major damage to your tires and the vehicles undercarriage. Want to be able to see the orignal foundation of your building then tell them you an apartment in the back. There is not enough parking at all in the complex. There is no designated spots it is first come first serve so if you live in the back you can go park by the pool because all the spots will be take by 6pm. If you forget to grab a flashlight or turn on the outside light its okay because if you let lights on inside just look above your front door you will clearly see into your apart due to openings. becareful where you stand on you stairs and balconies because they may have been up dated but instead of going and redoing they just re enforced the rust damaged melt and iron. only certain apartments have updated appliances where as everyone is tuck with the old fashion dish washer and stove. Want to have two freezers? then by means go for t doesnt matter what temperature you frisge is your food and drinks will become slush if not fully frozen. Want to pay 100 dollars after one day late on rent? Oh yeah so on top of a high rent for a small unit lets slap on another 100 dollars for one day where most places it is sevn dollars day til it is paid . I don;t know about anyone else but I will seven dollars a day over 100 the next day. Want to wash clothes? lets hope you have your washer and dryer because the closet landromat is by publix since they dont have one onsite. Want to work out go walk the hills since they dont have that either. If all I have pointe out is what you want the go ahead and move in, but I do suggest asking any of old residents or current residents how the living is there. if you do want to move in even after speaking with us, ask for Kellie she will take great care you and she is 100% amazing.

The worst place I have ever lived. I had mold growing in my ac unit which made me and my animals very sick. The whole foundation of the apartments was falling apart. The office staff and maintenance men were seriously a joke. They ghetto rigged every thing insted of actually fixing the problem.

Went to visit my family and had to step over and avoid dogggggg poop! This is very unsanitary and so unacceptable! Just plain disrespectful to the neighbors that live in the complex with them.....Nice place but was such an disappointment! Where is the owner and do he or she notice the these things?

So far, this has been the most horrible place Ive ever moved into my entire life. My apartment floor has many soft spots, the worst one being in the closet, where it sounds if the whole apartment is about to fall in; the deck is mostly rotten and theres no sense of even setting foot onto it; the storage room outside has a large hole in the wall and the door to it is also off the hinges.; the hinges for the kitchen cabinets are bent out of shape, along with the drawers that have no tracks to rest in, so you cannot store anything in them... The water pressure varies depending on what day it is, and the air conditioning also rattles and knocks.The maintenance staff assumed that I was moving in a week later instead of the actual day I moved it, and when I moved in, the carpets were still wet where they attempted to clean them. The place smells like mold and cigarettes, which is perfect for someone with severe allergies. Ive been waiting three days to actually unpack, and I cannot, because of the conditions that the floors are in. I had really high hopes coming into this place, especially with the apartment they had shown to us. Now Im thinking that this has been a waste of money and time moving into Grande Pointe.I do not recommend this apartments to anyone, and if you have the idea to even try it out, expect to be greeted by many disappointing surprises.
