I am extremely pleased to learn this is a corporate location , and I observed an on-site PF TRAINER WITH A MEMBER who was very pleased with her session. 👍😇 Also there launching a new Diamond 💎 membership at this location only in Danvers check it out.

Signed up my son for a membership the girl at the front counter was very helpful and knowledgeable .

Clean and organized. Great staff. Busy sometimes, but friendly people who will make room or let you use the machines in between sets.

So I started in LYNN. I have done Chelsea a few times. Today I did the Danvers one. They are all good. But I have to say the Danvers layout is my favorite so far. I dont know if its newer but I really just like the way its set up. Great gyms and awesome prices.

Its a fantastic starting gym. I wish there could be more machines. The place is usually packed btw 5pm to 8pm.

Went there after 1am because it stated that it open 24 hours. When I arrived, it was closed. The worker was inside just sitting in the dark on her phone signal it close to me. Please update the online hours if you are planning to close early instead saying it open 24 hours. Thanks.

The employees here are extremely nice, professional and are always cleaning. This location has lots of equipment never had to wait for the machines I use (bikes,and cardio machines) even with COVID still here going and leaving this gym is smooth operation and the employees make it welcoming and overall satisfactory.

This particular Planet Fitness has a sufficient amount of free weights and a great selection of cable machines. Plus, if was clean and well lit.

This place is an absolute joke. I couldn’t get a treadmill during my last 2 visits. Half the treadmills we’re missing because they’re doing construction. They had all last summer - when they were closed down due to Covid - to do construction work..Yet they decided to wait until they’re back open and up to peak capacity.

To whom it may concern,This gym is way over crowded. Theres something wrong when you are working specific muscles and all four machines you could use to not wait are all occupied especially.during the pandemic we are having.. There are not enough plates on the Smith machines such as 45, 25, and 10 lb. Plates. Also, when you are working out in the pandemic I believe someone should be walking around to clean any garbage such as empty water bottles, used paper towels, or anything else that is left laying around that could be infected with Covid and cause an outbreak.

Great staff, great equipment, no pressure environment. Everything you want from a gym.

No judgement, not full of meatnecks or gym rats, just a mix of people at varying stages of fitness trying to better themselves. Front desk was friendly, covid restrictions were tolerable, Alex the trainer is great, and the place was clean.

Went to sign up this morning around 6. Walked in and said hello I would like to join. The guy goes oh great, but not in a good way, like sarcastic. I said before I join I gave a question. Do you need to wear masks? He said yes. I said I read on your website that while you were actively working out, you didn’t. He said not here. Maybe NH. I walked out.

Unfortunately I had a lack of professionalism with a staff member that wasn’t cooperative with answering some questions. I would like to speak with upper management for a broader form of complaint, but none was available. This staff member singled out my girlfriend and I as we were working out by stating that she was there to enforce cdc guidelines, which I didn’t know. Also there were other couples in the gym that night, which cdc guidelines were not enforced by this staff member. I felt very disappointed and disrespected.

My favorite thing about my Planet Fitness membership is the travel benefits. I was in town for business, finished a meeting and got my bis and tris done before driving to the airport.This is a large, bright, clean location. The staff are friendly.If you like the body enhancement light, be forewarned that the clubs in this franchise only have a few booths between their clubs. (I didnt check if this one did, because I was time crunched.) Id call to verify they have the light if youre planning to use it.

For most workout is well equipped, amid the pandemic they are good effort to keep every clean.

Standard PF.People generally leave you alone here but there are seldom paper towels in the machines (no matter when I go) and a lot of PF policies are annoying. Like a dress code against spaghetti tanks so people feel comfortable or something. Also there are no scales which, I get but also, Id like the option....

Ive been a member at a number of different Planet Fitness locations due to my work commute, where I was going to school, etc. Out of all of them, I like this one the best. This location has TRX equipment, hot water showers, and actual paper towel dispensers (vs. just a giant roll of paper that you have to rip yourself). Not sure if these are new features that have been added to all the gyms (I havent been to a Planet Fitness in 6 months or so), but theyre nice perks at this one!

Cancelled my membership a week ago and still got charged for it, when calling I was told on a Friday that there’s no manager there so they can’t do anything to help me and I can call back Monday to speak to one, how is there no manager on duty for 3 whole days? Completely unprofessional and ridiculous

Creepy staff, rude people, and very judge-mental on both fronts. The staff makes fun of customers and spreads drama. You can tell they hate their jobs and life actually feel sorry for em.

Always smells like pizza on not pizza days. But it’s clean and friendly staff so no REAL complaintsOne time a man took the elliptical next to me and filled the cup holder with tootsie rolls. Do you realize how many that is!?!?!?

Really good gym, especially for the price! They clearly renovated it within the last few years - used to be a member about 5 years ago & theyve definitely updated the place! They have many different cardio machines ( 2 rows of treadmills), free-weights section, machines and a separate 10 min abs room and a circuit room. For those interested, they have tanning beds also.Definitely improved since when I was a member 5 years ago - well maintained machines, bathrooms are always very clean.For $10/month, I couldnt be happier!

Id give it 5 star if they would turn on the radio.Very Depressing place, very quiet like a Church, make sure you dont forget your headphones. Getting motivated here is a little difficult without music.Weird thing about the music is that have it playing on the outdoor speakers in parking lot.Odd gym, but this place is clean and keeps up with new equipment.Some must have listened, first time ever there was music playing. Cleanest one I found

Worst gym experience that I’ve ever had. My brother has been a black card member for over a year now and I was very interested in paying for my own account and coming in regularly. I went to the Planet Fitness in Danvers tonight and I have never been treated so rudely in an establishment looking for the consumer’s money. I brought my brother’s card up to the front desk to ask for the planet fitness tokens that are required for the massage chairs. I was looked at with disgust and confusion by the on-site manager seeing as the card is white in color. I gently explained to her that the card is old but I know that he pays for the black card membership and had to repeatedly ask her to scan the card anyways. I didn’t catch her name because I was not expecting her to have the attitude towards me in saying that because I’m “only a guest and don’t pay for the account” I can’t use the massage room or anything that is included in the black card.Why?? Why am I not allowed to use the amenities that planet fitness offers? Wouldn’t the employees want to actually promote their amenities to inspire new customers? Their slogan “judgement free zone” was clearly irrelevant in the workers minds tonight and is the reason why my brother will be cancelling his account, I will not be joining, and I will be sharing my poor experience with my followers on social media.

Great gym, usually go to Reading and the only reason I wont come back to this location unless necessary- IT IS TOO DAMN HOT!! Reading is much cooler and i can do cardio much better with my asthma

$10 a month! All the equipment one needs to get in shape, as well as a personal trainer available to be booked For Free. Clean facilities (even in the shower/locker rooms)

My son who pays for a black card and that includes a guest. My son brought his sister with him tonight as a guest and was treated very poorly, rude to no extreme, by the on duty manager and supporting staff. His sister was told she can not use some of the equipment because she is a guest. No where in the contract does it state a guest cant use all of the equipment. This isnt the first time this has happened to one of his guests. Im his father and I go to the gym with him a few times a week and I too have treated poorly because I was also a guest We used to belong to the ymca and have never been treated like this. We will be going back to the ymca and my son will be cancelling his membership immediately.

Awesome gym. I actually live much closer to the Salem one but I go here because of the wifi and the clean locker room. Even the showers are well-kept.

Worst management ever, I workout regularly and have a few different gym memberships and all I could say is I’ll never go back to this location!! The manager was beyond inappropriate, rude and extremely creepy! Ladies beware! He clearly lacks professionalism, customer service and respect !

Its great that its 24 hours a day. The layout is ok--sometimes the TVs are hard to see and the audio plugs dont work that well. But if youre looking for a cheap gym, this is it.

The staff sits around and talks all day. 5 of them behind the desk. They’re extremely rude or I wouldn’t even write this review. Management needs to clean house with them or at least staff clean machinesvery upset but gym is close so I be backs

Nicest gym everrr... I was kind of in awe when I first saw the lockeroom/bathroom... Gi-normous and pretty, and wayy more than youd ever expect for 10-20$/month! I dont understand how this one (and most of the 24/hr ones, too) costs the same as basically every other Planet Fitness thats NOT 24/hrs!! Oh and Danvers is a real 24/hr gym – not like the others that close at 9pm Friday, and 7pm on Sat/Sun... Lame-ohs. :-)
