Had to get a State inspection. Was greeted by a female employee (didnt get her name) as soon as I pulled up. She directed me inside. Lobby smelled great! They had some diffuser in there with a fresh scent. The young lady was organized, informative and helpful. She made sure I had all of the info on upcoming services. She seemed very knowledgeable. I would come back and refer this place to people I know.

The place is clean orderly people are friendly, in and out quickly, while it’s not the most least expensive place they do quality work. They always recommend additional things that could be done to your car and give you an exact price for additional maintenance items.

They were quick and very friendly. I was given the services I requested and informed of additional things I should take care of in the near future. There was no pressure, and it was a positive experience. Much appreciated.

I came to this location to get an oil change because it was close to my house. I saw that they had a good rating and I thought I’d give them a try. I was very very happy with the price and Marcus and Eric gave wonderful customer service and answered all of questions with no problem. I plan on being a regular here and I 10/10 recommend coming here for oil changes and inspections! Ask for Marcus and Eric for the best customer service you could ever ask for!

Went in for a state inspection, but wasnt able to get there until 10 minutes before closing. They still did the inspection and didnt complain about me arriving when I did. Still got a smile and a thank you. Cant beat customer service like that. Thank you.

Very professional and experienced personnel. Its been a long time since Ive taken my car in for repairs and a mechanic tells me the issue was way more minor than I expected and didnt charge me for the minor repair. Oil change services are Grade-A as well. I was in and out in 30 minutes or less with 2 cars in front of me. Please keep up the exceptional service guys!

It was amazing. I initially went here because I was new to Dallas and they were close-by. After going there once I became a repeat and loyal customer because the keep my car safe and on the road, are thorough but fast, and they explain everything and tell me what can wait and what can’t. I guess good if youre wanting to get-in, get-out, but not if you are looking for genuine or quality maintenance. Came in for an oil change and state inspection with the expectation of additional services needed being found and provided/priced. I got text notification of my inspection and 5 minutes later got called up by receptionist saying Alright, youre done. I was surprised that no one ever came out to tell me any findings from inspecting my car or tell me additional maintenance that was due - considering that is kind of what garages are supposed to do and how they make money. I mean, isnt everyones complaint about automotive shops usually having services pushed on them/upselling? I had to ask to have some of the additional maintenance that they marked needed on my inspection to be done. And I guess somehow the 30 point certified inspection included with their $70 oil change, the state inspection, the $115 brake fluid exchange , or any of the other $400 of services I paid for all do not include checking your brakes/pads (or putting together that low brake fluid probably means worn brakes), because within 48 hours of having them service my car my brakes started SCREAMING. So now I just got back from losing another weekend and an additional $1200 to go to an actual reputable mechanic to get my brakes serviced that were worn down to metal-on-metal and never noted (or probably even checked) at City Lube. Definitely a regrettable decision and will not be returning. 2 stars because at least the receptionist was very nice and had good customer service - but none of the services, quality, or prices are recommendable by any means.

I’ve never been to this location, but the front desk and workers there were very kind and welcoming! I needed a state inspection done and it took maybe 30 minutes. A smile is all it takes to make a person’s day, and CITY LUBE definitely did that!

When I went to this place my vehicle was fine. After I left this place all my lights came on? I took my vehicle to my normal mechanic and ended up paying $676 to fix what they broke. Lesson learned, stick to what you know and trust!

I went to City Lube for my state inspection. They quickly were able to take care of it and I was pleased with my service and the staff at City Lube. They have a friendly environment and are upfront about cost.

This guy took 90 minutes to change my oil! Then on top of that he BROKE my oil pan plug. Then he tells me “ This company charges 800.00 for the oil pan to be replaced, but if you come to my fathers house I can fix it for 350.00”. If Midas had not noticed this MAJOR problem it could have led to something very serious. I will NEVER use this company again!!!! Buyers beware!

I scheduled an oil and filter change for the first time with City Lube after North Central Ford, a dealership I have always used, would not honor a long-standing agreement. Not only was I able to get my car scheduled and serviced on the same day, but City Lube also caught a few maintenance items North Central Ford was going to complete. Needless to say, I will not be going back to North Central Ford. North Central Ford has shown to be unethical and untrustworthy when it comes to fulfilling their agreements. City Garage/City Lube will now be my first-choice for all future service needs!

Tremendous. Was looking for a new place to get my oil changed as well as have other services performed when/if needed. I read the great reviews about City Lube (as well as City Garage) and all of the 5-stars were on target. Scott Dowell and the staff at City Lube are exceptional. I took two vehicles there and both needed some maintenance items over and above the oil change. Scott explained why, based on what his guys observed (dirty fluid, dark fluid, stuff that made sense as candidly all that I have been doing is oil changes). With my Tahoe, since its driven regularly, we pulled the trigger on all recommendations. With my sons Xterra, after I mentioned to Scott that it was my sons and he is out of the Country for a while, he said to wait. He could have easily convinced me to do it, but he even mentioned he would not do it. My point is that my feeling was they want to take care of the customer. Whether or not I could have gotten a better deal, I dont care ... it seemed very fair and reasonable to me and I felt comfortable ... I felt like Scott wanted to make sure I kept my vehicles in good safe working condition.

Unprofessional attitude from staff, poor customer service, charged me extra onsite even though I paid online. Not a good recommendation

Went to a competitor with a coupon and was treated rudely and sent away. Will never do that again. City Lube will always take care of my car because I know that is what they do. I work at the bar right across the way from City Lube at midway and Frankford. So, I decided to use them to get an oil change a couple months ago. They guys at the quick work shop in the back were super helpful and pointed out that I should probably get my filters changed at my next oil change. The car was in and out in a jiff. They also check out out my tires and let me know I didn’t have the nail I though I might have and that it was just the weather change making them appear low.I decided to go back to these guys to get my inspection. Once again the guys In The shop were swift and informative. They even gave me a rewards card and some coupons on my way out.I had forgotten what the guys had said about my filters the first time exactly, so I told the guys “hey I think y’all said I should have my filters changed at my next service, so you can go ahead and do that if you need to while you’re at it”They let me know that they were fine and I didn’t need to do it for a month or two more.I can be a bit apprehensive in car shops. I’m not really knowledgeable when it comes to them so I really appreciate a company not taking advantage of my ignorance. This shop definitely makes me feel like I don’t need to call my Dad every time they open the hood and that’s a good feeling.Fair, fast and helpful. Five stars. Thanks guys.

City Lube is awesome! I stopped by a different oil change place and the wait was an hour and a half. Pressed for time I left and drove past City Lube DFW and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Came in today for an oil change and car inspection and everything was finished in under a half hour! I was expecting to spend hours waiting, so I was extremely pleased at the speed of the service here. Scott was incredibly helpful and even helped me figure out my next steps in registering my vehicle since I am new to Texas (he even printed out my insurance for me since I didn’t have a printed copy on hand and pulled up the county tax office on a map since I wasn’t sure where to go for registration)! I have been attempting to get my oil changed for a few weeks now and I have just been getting out of work much later than expected to complete it. I got off work today late, as usual, and called City Garage to check if they had changed my oil in the past. They confirmed that they had performed service to my car and informed me that I could go to the City Lube begins their building and that they would provide me with quick, efficient service. The gentleman informed me that they close at 6 when I asked. I left from my home at 5:01 and my gps said that it would take me about 25 minutes to get there. It ended up taking me more along 40 minutes with evening traffic. When I arrived, I drove around to the back following the directions of their signage, and was greeted by Cole and Scott. They were very professional and pleasant in assisting me with getting my oil change, even though it was very close to their closing time. They were able to get my oils changed in what seemed like only 8-10 minutes and I was back on my way.Thank you gentlemen for the great service. Way to do business!

I went and got my oil change 3 months ago here. I was told that the oil change would be $75. I proceeded to leave because i did not feel that was a good price. They came running out to give me a new price. 1 month after receiving the oil change i started hearing a knocking coming from my engine. I went to check the oil an realized the engine was bone dry. Im convinced they didnt do anything to my car when they said they did. I had a very old oil filter. I dont even think they changed that either. i will never pay for an oil change again. I was just in a rush that day. lessons learned.

I drove up before the opening time. The manager had already accessed the registration data by entering the license plate number. After opening , the inspection was completed in under10 minutes. Perfect and friendly service!

Very nice but extremely over priced. It also took longer than they originally said. Shop around.I called the manager of this shop several times and he was never available so I did call Chuck Hoffman and He said he didnt know why they asked me to call because I was not overcharged and there was nothing he was going to do. I will give more detail now. I contacted 4 other shops after getting this repair and found out that they all would have charged me half the price to do the same repair. This is what prompted me to write the review in the first place. Beware they are above average in costs and they will manexsplain it to you ladies!

Took my girlfriends Passat and my f150 for an oil change, 1 week later both were dangerously low on oil, could hear knocking in the VW. Will not ever take my vehicles back here ever again.Edit: I am not contacting or wasting another second on yall, I have the receipts so I honestly dont care about what your records say, shows your character even questioning your customers.
