This shop has fantastic meat and phenomenal customer service! They were flexible with my particular cut when they didn’t have to be-especially last minute. I so appreciate their help to make this Mother’s Day wonderful for my family.

I wasn’t paying attention and added pork chops to my order. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that not only were the pork chops great but they were Berkshire heritage pork chops which are almost impossible to find. These are the best pork chops I’ve ever eaten and will definitely be going back to get more.

This is my favorite place to buy meat. Their beef is very tender and flavorful. If you are on a budget their custom hamburger they grind to order will be more delicious than a ribeye you get at the supermarket. They also have a wide variety of home-made sausages that are very delicious, especially their bratwurst. If you are going to have a bbq with guests over I highly recommend them!

Visit this butcher as soon as possible! Their Koji aged ribeye is better than almost every steak Ive had in a restaurant. Their selection of hard to find meat products like organs, fats like tallow, duck & real lard, and of course the wagyu and dry aged goodness. The staff is so friendly and helpful to top it off! I cannot praise Deep Cuts enough and will be coming back regularly.

Specifically order a non-trimmed prime rib for dry aging. Ask more than once to make sure the fat cap is not removed. Sure - understood request.Swing by to pick up pre-wrapped and pre-paid roast and open it up at home to find…. Fat cap 100% removed.So much for that. $571 wasted.One additional star for the NY Strip that they had not opened and is good to go.

Nice butcher shop. Small selection, but anything you get you will be able to turn into good eating. 4th of July steaks and husbands birthday dinner Tomahawk usually come from here. We also like their Akaushi beef hot dogs.

Meat looked great. Got the double bone in pork chops and some beef ribs. But what really made this an exceptional experience was the customer service. They answered all my questions without hesitancy. They also prepared my order quickly. Since weve moved back to Texas weve been looking for a good butcher that has what we want. I was looking for lamb and duck for Thanksgiving and Nate was so helpful. I cannot wait to cook the lamb it looked so pretty. I highly recommend them and I will be coming back. Excellent service and products.

Picked up some Texas Wagyu Ribeyes, and they were decently priced and excellent cuts of meat. They were great!

Needed some pork feet to make soup dumplings. I sent Deep Cuts an email and they got back to me really quickly and placed a special order for me that was ready in just a few days. Curbside pickup was fast, easy, and safe.

The best butcher in Dallas, chorizo was perfect in a scramble we did and the bacon was stellar. The Philly cheesesteak actually has cheesewiz which is the way it should be. They do rotator sandwiches.

I was there with my wife last Sunday the 23rd, first time. Its a small butcher shop store but very well organized. They have a great selection of meats and in the freezer they already have packed a variety of different kinds of animal meat. The label of the packed meat will tell you from with ranch or farm it comes from. Any question you wanted to ask about the meat they were very serviceable and also they will cut the meat to your satisfaction. When I got home I had the Smoked Bratwurst with Dijon mustard boy was that delicious. I recommend it.

Pricey but worth it! Staff is knowledgeable and will ask all the right questions to steer you in the right direction. Had some of the best steaks ever come from here.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had in buying meats or really any produce for that matter. They were incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with and the pick up went without a hitch. Some of the best quality chuck roast and bacon I have ever tasted!

This place is awesome. They had exactly what I was looking for. I had called all around Dallas and no one had it till I called them. Even told me that if I were to call a day in advance then hed for sure have what Im needing the next day. I even bought more than what I originally came for. When I walked in the door the smell of sausage being cooked smelled so good that I couldnt help myself to buy some. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and made me feel welcomed to the shop. All of this rolled together made for an outstanding experience and has earned them a repeat customer.

I will definitely be back for the different selections. I picked up a few items today for the first time.

First time here. Explained to the gentleman (Eddie) that answered the door that its my first time. Had no idea how to order and Im not familiar with the terminology. His response to me was, you came to a butcher shop. This isnt Walmart. That was a very rude welcome so I got what I needed and left. Based on that interaction, I have decided that I will stick with Central Market or Whole Foods. Id rather have better service. I can always find a better butcher shop if needed.In response to the owner:I Googled your store in route and had no idea that I needed to call and place an order before hand. I walked up to the door, pulled on the handle and saw that it was locked. I saw the sign and pulled my phone out to call the number. Eddie came out and opened the door. I was confused at first. He said that I can place an order through him. I told him I wanted an outside skirt and ribeye. Simple. Then he proceeded to tell me all sorts of terminology that was beyond what I know as a consumer. Yes, I go to Central Market or Whole Foods and I see what I like and I point. Most of us buy with our eyes. I dont now parts of the cow or any animals. Im not a butcher. I did get frustrated. I should not have used certain language. I am wrong in that matter and I apologize. Eddie did come to the door in a timely manner, but he was disrespectful. He did not explain to me the process of ordering or what I was ordering. He wasnt patient with me. He was very condescending by saying that this isnt Walmart. I understand that. I have never been to a butcher shop. I was hoping that he would educate me. Instead he talked down to me. Yes, you have high quality meat. I never said you didnt. I was excited and happy to support a small business, especially during times like this. Why do you think I decided to go to a local butcher shop versus my regular routine of going to Central Market? Also, If you saw that the interaction wasnt going well, why didnt you step in to help? I was the only one there and it was 5 pm. I would have asked for a manager or the owner but I couldnt see inside. I had no idea who was there. If I had known, I would have loved to speak with the owner or the manager and expressed my concerns. I hope this cleared up any misunderstanding you may have had or any assumptions that you made. I hope next time, if you see an interaction not going smoothly that you will come out and help. Thank you.

Hands down without a doubt the best sausage I have ever had. All the flavors! The make them right there in the shop and you can tell it is so fresh! I really cannot stress it enough... Wish I could give them more Stars!

GREAT butcher shop! Stopped by yesterday for the first time after the closure of my usual butcher shop. Great selection of meats, picked up some Prime Picanha and a Prime Rib Eye (pictured below) and will definitely dive into some of their game meats next time. Very clean and you can tell the team is passionate about providing a great product.Great place, you should go!

Have tried multiple cuts and a variety of products from Deep Cuts and have always been thoroughly impressed. You can tell they take pride in the purveyors they work with. The Staff is helpful with recommendations, I would highly recommend them you will not be disappointed.

Ordered by email, pick up took 60 seconds and the staff was kind and accommodating. Above all, the food is delicious! The Tomahawk was spectacular and their pork as good as it gets. What a gem, to have this business 12 minutes from home.

The owners of Deep Cuts brought some BBQ sandwiches by the fire station as a part of a community outreach program. The meat was tender, moist, and delicious. The BBQ sauce was vinegar based and complimented the meat perfectly. To top it off the buns were thick and buttery. It was a great sandwich and made some firefighters very happy. I highly suggest it to anyone!

I am not a review type of person but we stopped in there today to see what they had after a colleague from work recommended the place. I purchased two of the 21 day dry aged t-bone steaks and grilled them this evening. They were the best tasting steaks that have ever came off of my grill! If you are looking for great tasting quality meat then this is the place to go. A1

Deep Cuts Butcher shop is AWESOME! Unlike a lot of the butchers in the area, Deep Cuts actually has organic beef from a Texas Rancher a couple hours from the Metroplex. As with every meat market around here, prices are not cheap. But really enthusiastic knowledgeable staff who are passionate about quality meat. The only negative thing I can say is that Deep Cuts does not pop up when you google search butcher shops or meat markets in the local area. They need more exposure! I was lucky to find this spot; looking forward to going back!

I have been coming to this place for quite sometime, I had always recommend it to friends and family, that will no longer be the case. I went to buy some meat yesterday and was not only greeted poorly, but the guy that treated me in a very rude way, also seem to want to get physical with me. I really hope the store owner can do something about it. Guy was lucky that I am not a hot head like him otherwise it would have ended badly.

My wife doesnt let me come here unsupervised anymore, I want to give them all my money.

This is a Dallas gem. These people are passionate about meat and it shows. If you value clean (i.e., natural) meat, humane treatment of livestock, and local businesses, you should shop here.Dont be put off by the relatively small selection of meat compared to a place like Central Market -- what they do carry is the best of the best and is all local. If theres something particular youre looking for just call ahead a day or so and they should be able to take care of you.The owner and staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I didnt know exactly what I wanted and they eagerly walked me through their favorites and helped me decide on some fantastic New York Strips and amazing sausage.I love that its a local business, directly supporting other local businesses (they know the farm each selection is from), and the quality of meat (and animal care) is top notch.

If youre seeking that neighborhood butcher experience look no further . Clean shop and very friendly people behind the counter who will take time to understand what youre making and offer up alternatives if you feel like trying something new. Yes, youre paying a premium but when Im looking to impress and nothing but the best will do there is no other option.

I drove all the way from downtown Dallas to try their cheesesteak sandwich. My mind is blown. Having grown up on the east coast, I know what a good cheesesteak should taste like and Deep Cuts hit it out of the park. The roll was so incredibly fresh and perfectly textured but its the quality of the beef that makes this sandwich shine. Well done Deep Cuts.

Knowledgeable and courteous staff. You will definitely pay more for your meat here but will feel good doing it knowing its local and grass fed. Nice selection of charcuterie as well. They are adding new items weekly. Best kielbasa Ive had in years.

Decided to try out based on the reviews. I ordered 8lbs of wagyu chuck roast and received 3.5 lbs of wagyu chuck roast and 4.5 lbs of regular choice roast and was only told about it after they handed me my meat. I give two stars because the Meat looked to be decent quality but I cant for the life of me understand why they wouldnt tell me over half my order is not going to be what I asked for. Mind boggling.

Bought a couple of filets and a NY strip, both fantastic. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. To my taste, their meat quality far exceeds anything youd get from Central Market or Whole Foods.

We shop at Deep Cuts for all of our beef and sausage needs and then some! We always make a special trip here to get our steaks. Im normally not a fan of sausage, but the sausage here is so dang good. Oh, and you have to get the Wagyu hot dogs. Yum! And since youre already getting all of the sausages and hot dogs, dont forget to also pickup their Chorizo. Seriously, this place is fantastic!

The finest ground round in texas and their grass fed texas lamb is delicious. The guys there really know their meats and cuts superbly.. if I owned a restaurant I would have these guys on speed dial

Absolutely amazing.My whole life Ive only ever eaten meat from either Walmart or Kroger and restaurants. Well this past year the meat quality of grocery stores has gone down the drain and it seems like everything i buy from the grocery store is rancid and horrible, ive also seen online posts about employees being instructed to relabel expored meat, gross. Which is why i tried this place. I bought a few cuts of beef and chicken and i havent tried all of it yet but i just cooked a steak they had made in sous vid still in the bag ready for a sear. It was.... .The best damn steak Ive ever had in my life, hell the best damn cut of meat Ive ever had in my life. I live 25 min away and if the rest of the meat i bought continues to be just as amazing i will continue to drive here for any meat i want. Ill also probably never eat grocery store meat ever again .

Weve gotten ribeyes & ground Akaushi beef for hamburgers and they tasted great! Today we purchased two beautiful 9oz filets to cook on Sunday.The staff is very knowledgeable, and they freely share it to help you get the best meat for your enjoyment.Yes, I recommend this place.

1st time butcher-run. If you think its too expensive to go, its really not. I tried the thick-cut nitrate-free Applewood Bacon they have ($9.99 1lb) for breakfast, & it was great! Really rich, pure-bacon flavor. Sure beats Walmart. Talked to Nate & his female coworker (Sorry I didnt catch your name), & the stellar reviews are definitely reflective of their knowledge & hospitality. They were just as nice as I was hoping. :) Even though I am a nube, they remained pleasant throughout, & I was in-&-out in no time. (10 min tops.) Anyone who goes here, (especially helped by these two) is sure to to get excellent quality customer-service that the owners clearly go out of their way to achieve. Thanks again guys! :)
