Made an appointment to have my phone repaired for a Tuesday from 9-11. Received a text message at 9:15 the day of the appointment notifying that they did not have the inventory for this part. The next available reschedule date was a week out. Poor scheduling and preparation for their day to day work and do not notify customer far enough in advance to make adjustments.**Edit** I had to go through our insurance company but they were able to get the appointment rescheduled for 6/4 instead of a week out. The technician that came out was very polite, quick and professional. Rating adjusted based on experience with this Tech.

I highly recommend this place! If I could give them more than five stars I would. Salvador was great helped me out and got the in and out in less than an hour.

Worst frustrating consumer experience in 10 years. I had a small crack in the corner of the screen. When I went to pick it up, they said the screen is fixed but they broke the phone, and expected me to leave with it! After refusing to take it, they said they would get me a new one. Never called me...I had to try countless times to get them to answer the phone. What they got me was a used rose colored phone with scratches that ATT gave me 1/5 of what they would have given me for the phone I took to uBreakiFix to begin with....unreal how they stay in business.

Crack the @#$&% out of my Pixel 5 the day I opened the @#$&%ing box. The team were honest when I present them the issue, that none of them had yet to work on a Pixel 5, due to its recently made available to the public. They told me theyll make an attempt, and I replied I have faith in you. Then faith granted me a replaced screen at a reasonable time. And they even applied the liquid screen protector for me.Thanks guys!

My galaxy s8 had water damage that caused the screen to malfunction. I debated between this place and CPR repair but decided to go here since its closer to where I live. They were able to fix my s8 screen temporarily so that I can transfer my data to my new phone. Cost me about $80 and definitely worth it. The guys were super helpful! I would definitely recommend this place.

I spoke to Sal on the phone (nice guy) and he quoted me one price. Showed up at store (not nice guy) and quoted me different more expensive price. Will not come back or recommend.

Short: The staff could care less about customer service, constantly overestimated timeframes, and I believe they LIED about repairing my phone after a second visit. Take your business to another franchise if you have to use this company.Long Version: Went in for a battery replacement. The tech quoted me 2 hours, and said he would contact me if anything came up. Ended up waiting around 4 hours before the tech tells me that my phone is actually in worse shape before, the battery works, but now the motherboard is fried, and back camera/flash are goners. The tech assures me that he would order the parts and call me back into the store in 3-5 days and all will be well.After waiting 11 days, I contact and confirm with the store that they have the parts. When I drop it off, Im greeted by the same tech who helped the first time. I try to gently remind him that he helped me previously, and told me to bring my phone back to finish the repairs he started. Without blinking the tech looks up at me, and asks impatiently, So whats the actual problem with the phone? After my third attempt at explaining that I dont know whats wrong with it beyond what HE told me 11 days ago, he finally looks up the work order. The tech tells me hell replace the motherboard, and itll be 2 hours and hell call me when its done. 3.5 hours later, I call the store to check on the status, another rep tells me its ready. When I get there, the rep from the phone call hands me the phone says its good, and I leave. The next day, I realize that the interior components of the phone are loose inside the case and actually shifting around because the tech didnt mount it.Rather than deal with this location again, I have taken it to another uBreakiFix location, only to discover through their observation and diagnostics that the Oak Lawn location never replaced the Motherboard despite the work order. So if youre a consumer, take your business to another franchise.

This place is the best!!! Super nice really qualified people!

I brought my phone in for an issue with my battery, the phone was overheating and not keeping a charge for more than 30 min. When I brought it in they confirmed they had the part available, but they did not take same day appointments. I had to make an appointment for the next day. Over the next 24 hours my phone stopped turning on, even when plugged in. When I went to my scheduled appointment they accepted the phone, when I went to pick it up they informed me that when they placed the new battery in it turned on for a moment then the screen went blank. They think the screen was fried due to the battery giving out, and my next option would be to attempt to replace the screen as well as the battery. My phone was turning on when I had originally brought it in to be fixed. If they would have allowed a same day appointment I wouldn’t have had this issue with my screen, especially since they had the part available at the time. This isn’t good customer service and I regret bringing my phone into them to be repaired.

I brought my phone in right before closing and they were highly professional and reassuring about restoring my phone. It was ready by the afternoon the following day and was good as knew!! So glad to have it back and for their expedited, professional service!

If I could give it 0 stars I would! I have been to the location 4 times and they have not fixed my phone. The 5th time when I came they claimed that I didnt have a appointment, and they couldnt fine me in the system. The worst experience I have ever had! I will add that my phone is still not fixed. The only reason that I came, because I had a claim through Verizon and they sent me there.Update, I have gone to this store 7 times, and they never fixed my phone. They never even looked at my phone It was so bad that Verizon had to send me a brand new phone free of charge. Smh

Beware - Bait and Switch!I needed my screen replaced over the weekend and did my time looking at reviews and their website. I entered in my make, model, and the Oak Lawn location into their website and the quote that came up was $179. Made the trip to that location and waited while the associate finished up with the couple in front of me.... and then was told that the screen repair would be $229 instead. I was told the price difference is because its a franchise.Sorry, but being a franchise is not an excuse since 90% of the locations appear to be franchises. Either fix your online pricing or deal with getting called out.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience here. I paid to have my back glass on my iPhone fixed. When I got my phone back none of the side buttons worked and the speakers were not working. I went back to have this fixed and they said it would be handled that day. They then held onto my phone FOR 4 DAYS. I got absolutely no updates from them by email like they promised they would. I had to keep calling them from other peoples phones to get updates and the response every time was so unprofessional like yeah Josh was working on your phone and I havent seen him today. Not sure when you will get your phone back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

We broke the top of our screen yesterday and came in today. The service was amazing and they completely replaced the top screen while we waited. We got a case as well for $20, and were expecting a cheap case but instead got a beautiful, very sturdy clear case! As well as that, they even added a screen protector for free! Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone with a broken phone.

These folks are honest! I went in recently and thought i was going to have to spend $150 for a new screen and when I went to pick the phone up, they told me the only issue was my screen protector was cracked. They could have easily charged me full price and i would not have known the difference as my screen crack appeared to have gone through the protector. They ended up giving me a new protector free! Had a warranty problem with SAMSUNG on a practically new Galaxy S20 5G phone. Worked with a young man named SAL . The diagnosis after attempting to flash the phone to revive it, was that the new 5G motherboard was fried. Sadly, SAMSUNG had not given the parts to this location to fix the 5G motherboard, so they recommended that I return the phone to the SAMSUNG headquarters in Plano, which I did. They were MUCH MORE compassionate about helping me to get the phone where it needed to go to get it fixed under warranty.I cannot say the same for SAMSUNG or SPECTRUM, where I bought the phone as part of a bundled deal. most of the people I talked to could care less about resolving my issues. U BREAK, I FIX changed all that to a satisfactory outcome. I strongly recommend them for SAMSUNG or GOOGLE repairs...

I went in to have my iPhone screen replaced. I arrived to pickup phone and facial recognition wasn’t working. I informed them it was working prior to them working on it. They ended up saying they couldn’t fix it even when they placed my old screen back on. So, I left with my phone worst off than it started. I wouldn’t recomend this place at all!

They sent me to another location the following day, but was treated as if I had no appointment and had to wait all day for my device to be repaired.

Super sweet staff ! They are really good about customer service but I brought my phone in with minor cracks on screen and when I received it back it was in a worse condition with white lines everywhere and glitching. I went back again and they were super respectful and fixed my phone right away, only for me to go home and realize some of my screen doesn’t work and won’t let me either type sometimes or log out of anything. I have to turn my phone screen around to try to work with it.

Two weeks ago I was told a replacement battery for my phone would arrive in three days. I’ve called several times (one time they left me on hold for 15 minutes before my call dropped) and come by to continue to be told a replacement battery for my phone was either still in the unopened packages or needing to be ordered. Nothing but terrible and slow service. I have an upcoming trip and these last two weeks have created an undesirable situation. I highly encourage others to seek repair services elsewhere.

Able to schedule an appointment on awa SaturdayaSaturday get total screen replacement for my Pixel phone. Repair only took about an hour and a half and was returned on the same day. Courteous in both online chat (scheduled appointment online) and in person, and my phone screen looks and works like new. Very satisfied.

I picked up my phone from having the screen repaired and now the camera isnt working. They blamed the parts but looking at other reviews I just picked the wrong place to repair my phone smh. Now Im standing here waiting on a 2nd claim so they can hopefully fix for real this time smh.

My IPhone XS Max screen was repaired and 6 months later the screen they installed is coming apart from the phone.I took the phone in to have them fix it and they said “sorry that looks like a manufacturer defect and it’s past the 90 day warranty”Ridiculous customer service and they are clearly using junk replacement parts.
