Excellent service. Our car left us stranded; we called Louden explained our situation to Jon, and he was able to see us right away. The maintenance was involved, and we had to order a part. Once the part arrived, they quickly repaired our car, and now it drives better than we have felt before.

I started with Louden on a friends recommend in the late 80s after I bought my first Porsche. Since then its been a 750 and two 740s, the last of which i bought used and then drove for 14 more years under the care of Louden. Now its my wifes 2011 335. I had an Issue with my BMW 530I replacement of the vanos units affecting my cars performance. With Jon attentiveness in detail of my vehicle he was very knowledgeable and put into simple terms the process that had to be done. Friendly and honest car service.Had a couple of miscellaneous service items, so dropped off and picked my car up the next afternoon (they wash it for you too). Service was great & my car ran like new. Added bonus was when I got in my car, there was my Whole Foods gift card (I had presumed I lost it months ago) sitting in the cup holder. They must have found somewhere inside between the seats. Thank you for being an honest repair shop!

I took my car to their shop thinking there was a problem. They test drove it and their diagnostics didnt show it had any problems. The only thing they found was a leak in the windshield wiper fluid line. They fixed that and didnt even charge us! We are very impressed with their service.

My parents have taken their cars to Louden for years. When my moms car needed a tune-up recently, I dropped it off at Louden. Chuck showed me around the vehicle, made sure I knew how to check the fluids myself (as its different than on my vehicle), explained the services he recommended, and did not pressure me to have it all done. After taking my 335i to the dealer for diagnostic testing I found that they could not replicate the cars symptoms, even after having it for several days. I had a close friend recommend visiting Louden Motorcars to see if they could come up with any answers to what was going on with my 335i. I dropped the car off in the morning and was surprised to find out that they have a rental service on site to accommodate me with transportation while my car was down. That afternoon I received a call from Chuck informing me that Loudens had found the problem and in fact the issue was something the dealer eventually covered under warranty for me. Can not thank these guys enough for the prompt and honest work that was done, Highly Recommend Louden Motorcars to anyone looking for the right place to have repairs done.

These guys are incredible!! Brought my 05 Mercedes E-Class for routine service. As part of the service, they noticed that a brake system problem, that was covered by a recall. Chuck took it upon himself to deliver the car personally to the dealership for warranty repairs, and pick it up afterwards. I spent $150 (Competitor quoted $380.00) on a minor service, and these guys took it upon themselves to save me a trip to the dealer. Hands down great service! Thanks Jon and Chuck!

This is by far the best experience that I have had with an automotive service center. My 1990 BMW suffered timing belt failure. From my initial conversation with Chuck at Louden, I knew that I had found the right place to service my car. Attentive, knowledgable, and reassuring, Chuck was always available to answer my questions; he explained the repairs thoroughly to me, he let me know when it would be more cost effective to find a used replacement instead of trying to fix the present part. Upon picking up my car, I found that it looked BRAND SPANKING NEW. I met with Martin, the technician who worked on it, and with Chuck for about 30 minutes as they showed me everything that they did--they went above and beyond the call of duty and it was clear that they had put so much time and energy into my car. From now on, I will drive the thirty miles to Louden to have my BMW serviced. It was worth every penny. I cannot thank Chuck and Martin enough.

Friendly, convenient service, but with a hefty price-tag.I took my 328i to Lauden this week for its annual maintenance check, to look into the brakes and fix a headlamp. I picked Lauden for its reputation. I was hoping for competent service at less-than-dealer cost. Being rather busy right now, I was hoping for convenience too.I guess I ended up paying what I was willing to pay to get my car serviced quickly.$195 to replace brake-pad sensors$450 for the scheduled maintenance check$60 to replace the bulb.I actually feel good, though. I was quoted $670 to replace the oil filter gasket and declined. I am going to take the car to my usual mechanic next week.

These guys ROCK. Talk to James, John or Mr. Louden himself with anything that ails your BMW. Brought my 530i & 320i for 60 K service and they charged me 1/2 of what the dealer(stealer) wanted and 1/4 less then other independant BMW shops. Very friendly, thorough and not Pushy. I dont goto dealership anymore. These guys are very good at what they do. They primarily service European cars. I take my Benz to them for all my scheduled maintenance. Very curteous and responsive service. If you have a Benz or a Beamer, dont want to goto dealers, and dont want to goto some untrustworthy shop, this place should be in the top 3 on your list.

Louden has been around for a long time, so that has to account for something. Initially, they seemed friendly as well, but buyer beware. Ive visited the shop on three separate occassions and the experience has led me to the undeniable conclusion that Louden is significantly more expensive than the Mercedes dealership. I believe in paying for quality work by a certified shop, but 40% more expensive than the dealer? Last year I drove over a curb and damaged my suspension. I didnt have an appointment, but they told me theyd look at it and have an estimate by the end of the day. They didnt. I was told it would be done the next day by noon. When I called at 3:00 it hadnt been looked at. I went in to pick it up and they gave me an estimate on the way out the door. I brought it to Park Place Bodyworks in Dallas and the work was done for hundreds less. This month I brought my E350 in for oil change, cabin and engine filter replacement, and a break flush. The estimate was over $800? I told them to do the oil change and Id take care of the rest. When I picked up the car I mentioned the estimate seemed high and what was the cost for just the break flush. I was told $290. Lets do the math - if an oil change is $125 and the breaks were $290 the filter replacements came to over $400? BTW both filters were around $30 at NAPA. To make it better, I went to Park Place Grapevine and had the breaks flushed for $135 out the door. Is Louden so much better at what they do they can be more than twice the price? When I emailed their Service Manager, James, about my experience, to make sure I wasnt missing something, his reply seemed to infer that Park Place would never perform the work for that price and they charge back Mercedes $450+ for warranty service. I emailed him back with my Park Place invoice and credit card receipt. You might guess, I never heard back from James. This is the icing on the cake - when Ive inquired about the price on both occasions they seem almost combative. Ive been around long enough to know that when a contractor of any kind cannot walk through their estimates in a civilized tone, buyer beware.

I needed a pre-purchase inspection done, and my BMW repair shop in Houston recommended Louden Motorcar for this. I called and made an appointment with Chuck. Jon was there when I arrived and ready to have his mechanics go over the car. It took about 3 hours and I was very pleased with the service and report I received. I was able to wait in their comfortable waiting area that had free Wi-Fi (which Jon helped me to connect to) while they looked over the car. If you are in the Dallas area and need a BMW repair or pre-purchase inspection I would recommend Louden.
