We have had their service since they took over Rock Hills customers. Trash has been picked up consistently until the past two weeks. Then suddenly we get skipped over. I have emailed and called. No response to emails. I have stayed on the phone well over an hour three times and never get to speak to anyone. I had to get half of the trash out of our can, rebag it, and take it to the landfill in my car. Now the can is overflowing again.The driver cannot say out trash wasnt set out. It is placed out the night before service EVERY week!!! We also sometimes have to place a bungee cord on the can lid to keep animals from dumping the can into the street. Each time our bungee cord is trashed. Thankfully they are cheap to replace.Im hoping this review gets their attention and they call me, email me, anything at this point!!! Does anyone work in the offices to answer phone calls?!?!?! I expect credit on my bill. But mostly I just want my trash picked up every week when you are suppose to pick it up! If the driver has an issue, maybe hire a new driver!

Horrible service and absolutely no customer service. I canceled after dealing with them forgetting to pick up our trash several times. I was told I would be refunded since I was on autopay and had paid in advance. Not only did they charge me , but have continued to do so. Currently disputing with my bank. Do your self a favor and choose Mountain View for reliable service.

Trash was not picked up today. The Woman who called me said their guy listed my trash can as not being in front of my house at pickup time. I had put my can out front early the day before. She insisted that the GPS showed the truck was at my house at five AM. I do agree with her the truck was there as my camera pointing down the drive way showed the truck passing my house without stopping. My camera also shows the can was out there from at least three PM the previous day and had not moved prior to their truck passing. If they try pull this game with you and you do not have the resources to prove their incompetence give a shout and Ill give a helping hand.

I have a friend who used to work for this company. They quit years ago due to excessive favoritism. It’s all family that works there. I don’t even recommend there services cause every week my trash got picked up my can ended up upside down in the ditch. When I complained I got stonewalled. Nothing was ever done. Not to mention the fact that I caught the driver dumping trash and recycle in the same truck. Finally canceled services. Don’t recommend.

I can only say good things about County Waste. The service is on time and efficient. Any dealings I have with the office are handled politely and cheerfully. It is refreshing to work with people who genuinely care about the customer.

I am a fairly new customer but so far I have been very happy with the service. Customer service when I call with questions is always helpful, friendly and very responsive. I have had no issues with pick up at all. Very satisfied customer.

We have been using County Waste for just over two years now. We have never had any issue or complaint with our service. Our drivers are punctual, consistent, and courteous. We have never had even a small amount of trash left behind. Highly recommend.

They have been great to me. They are consistent with their trash pick up, my trash can was stolen one time & they brought another one out the same day & they just dropped off an open top dumpster fairly priced when 2 other companies stood me up.

Within 2 months of a re-negotiated contract, they raised our rates again. The first rate increase came without any notice. We re-negotiatied the contract and within 2 months they increased the amount again and once again it was without notice. When we received the first increase, it took several emails and/or phone calls to get a response, after the second increase we were told by Ron he would look into it and we advised we would do nothing until we heard back from him.....to date we have heard nothing back from him.This company is not worried about customer service or customer relations. Their “we have the county locked down” attitude makes for bad business.

Wife attempted to call as directed in review above and if we could rate less than one star we would. She called on Tuesday and spoke with someone for a few minutes with the rep having no understanding of the issue when he placed her on hold then proceeded to hang up on her. She called back and would you believe the office was closed??? My wife left a very detailed message with our name and callback number and we haven’t received a call back. No wonder their rating is terrible.

When I moved to my house the owner left the trash cans and I didnt need the service. After a year of them sitting in my driveway I was using it to hold my recycled copper wire from jobs and had some other items in the other one. Without any communication with me they took the containers and stole everything in them. I am a very busy man and dont have time to waste over it, but it just tells you what type of company it is.

Over the last two years for a 6-yard container my price has increased from $86 a month to $113 a month for once a month service and pick up. They dont even have a regular schedule it is once a month but sometimes its the second week sometimes its the third week sometimes its the first week they just do it whenever they feel like it. And they charge whatever they want and tell me that its because my trash is sitting in the landfill... Absolutely absurdAlso their sales rep has an awful attitude and literally took over 6 months to return multiple messages I left. Customer service is horrible. I cant wait to be out of their contract and find another company.

Horrible experience. Not customer oriented at all. I will speak of only 1 of the multiple negative experiences we have had. They did not pick up our trash nor our neighbors across the street. P/up is Friday so we had to leave a message. On Monday when we called again. The representative answered by saying my supervisor did that route that day and said the trash was not out after repeating that many times it became very frustrating. So it being the supervisor did the route I would say it is very possible for them to have missed our road, it is a country side road. Missing our road is no big deal. The big deal is how we were treated implying that we were lying about our trash being out.

Raised our rates with no notice. They took the time to email me my bill was in arrears (it was on autopay- never missed a payment) but couldnt email me they were raising the rates over 30%. Reduce service and raise rates. No thanks. EDIT- Manager finally called and explained my grandfathered rate wasnt applied. He fixed it. Adjusted rating EDIT 2- It seems like EVERY time you have to contact them its a disaster. We moved and were given instructions on transferring the can and what did they do? SKIPPED my last pick up. ARE YOU SERIOUS? You want ME to move FULL cans? What a joke. Then to try to rectify I call in and there are 41 people in the cue. 41 with a wait time of 50 minutes. So I go on to the chat and wait 25 minutes all for her to tell me she cant help bc she doesnt do Culpeper. So I am back to the phone call. Been on hold now 55 minutes and still 11 ahead of me.Thanks for WASTING TWO HOURS of my day because your driver didnt empty my cans. ILL JUST BE CANCELLING SERVICE BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO SET UP THE MOVE APPARENTLY DID NOT CONVEY THE PROPER INFORMATION. I guess I am supposed to read minds.

Terrible service! I ordered trash service and they did fine the first month, then for 2 months, they did not pick up my trash and still tried to bill me for it. I called both months and complained and also sent a return e-mail with my emailed billing and got NO response from them until my billing was 60 days past due and they threatened to send me to collections. How can you bill for a service that you dont receive. They did not care to make it right or even discuss it. BE VERY CAREFUL and use another option, if available to you.

Just witnessed truck 117 make a very unsafe turn, cutting across two lanes of traffic and jumping in front of a line of cars in the left lane without stopping to look. Several pieces of waste flew out of the back of the truck in the 15 - 30 seconds I was behind them. Rt 3, about 8:45 am, 1/9/20

Residential Service was always fine. We were offered their commercial service with a dumpster for our business. At the time it was great. The driver we have is awesome. What I have a real BIG ISSUE with is raising our price 4 times in 2 years, the price is $5 away from being double. So, I said I wanted to go back down to residential and get the same service we started out with. 1. Because of the price, 2. I am sure there is a price increase right around the corner, and 3. My business does not need the commercial service anymore. Well, wouldnt you know that suddenly the residential service is now triple (but only for me) and with this 4 year contract I am locked into two more years of being ripped off. So, I asked for the contract cancellation fee....no one wants to call me back with that. No one wants to call me back at all unless I want to sign up for a service for over $80 a month for trash. Yeah, I dont think so. Ive called the New York office and the Richmond office to talk with the heads of sales, no return calls. When you call the Culpeper office, they tell me that I can email my complaint. This company does not care at all about customer service. This ranks up there with one of the worst I have come across. I can not wait for another trash company to offer service through out Culpeper and force this awful company to lower their rates and maybe offer real customer service. The reviews for this company in other areas are awful. My story is very similar to alot of others which is sad. What is really sad is that has been going on for awhile and despite customers crying out foul, County Waste continues to rip off its customers. Not a great way to remain in business. You may have me locked in for another two years, but I am counting down the days on when I can cancel the contract.

Wow. Wish I had read the online reviews before I scheduled service with this company. Terrible experience. Took days to get a trash can and when I did, it was tossed out by my mailbox with nasty trash residue in it. Cancelled service before they even picked up anything. Customer service rep is testy. Dont waste your time.

A friend was inquiring about the cost of set up for their trash. She is hearing impaired, so she was asking questions about cost via email. The customer service rep refused to answer the questions, so I called on her behalf. The rep, was horrible!!!!! Rude, condescending, and incompetent.I told my friend not to use this disgusting company.

Had some issues with payment initially but everything for sorted out. If I forget to bring trash down on Monday they let me get picked up on Thursday if I call.
