It was a complete shock when my Mothers ice maker malfunctioned in the middle of the night allowing water to flow freely for an unknown amount of time. It seeped beneath the hardwood floor in her kitchen and into the downstairs family room. We had no idea who to call. After reading a few excellent reviews, we called ServiceMaster Restoration By BTM and even though it was a Saturday, they sent someone out right away. Kevin showed up, evaluated the situation and immediately began the drying out process, bringing with him large fans and dehumidifiers. Its amazing how much damage water can do. They had to replace all of the carpet downstairs and some of the drop ceiling tiles. The kitchen hardwood floor had to be sanded and completely resealed with poly-urethane. When we informed the insurance company that we were working with ServiceMaster, they said, excellent choice...whatever they need, well cover. There were several team members that came out during the process, each with their own specialty. Every one of them were professional and courteous. They always called first and were always prompt. By the time they were finished, it was literally as if it never happened. Thank-you to Blake and everyone on the team! I highly recommend ServiceMaster Restoration By BTM to anyone in a similar situation!

We had water damage earlier this year from a faulty dishwasher. They were recommended by our insurance company and had great reviews. Giving them 2 stars because the actual clean up and service were good. However, their Accounts Receivable/billing practices are ridiculous. The insurance and I were both quoted for clean up and repairs. They said it was all included. The insurance was billed and they were paid. Months later we get another bill from them for additional repair costs. They stated those were never part of the initial billing to insurance and I was told it was included, so I didnt hire my own contractor/handyman to fix the small things they detached/cut during the dryout. Their handyman reattached baseboard, set a toekick (that we had to purchase) for a cabinet, and repaired a less than 12x12 spot in the basement ceiling that was accessed for the dry out--- $900+ dollars!!!!! I contacted my insurance who agreed that this was not what was submitted to them or agreed upon and should have been part of the costs submitted directly to the adjuster. My insurance already paid them and Im stuck with another bill.

We reached out to Service Master Restoration by BTM after another water mitigation company failed to meet our expectations. My husband and I were looking for a second opinion but we were very concerned about choosing the wrong company for the second time. When I called Tessica answered and she was very understanding of my apprehension. She answered some questions and then put the water mitigation inspector, Alex, on the phone. Alex did not pressure me. He asked to come out and see our home free of charge so that he could give honest feedback of the approach his company would take to remediate the water damage from the a water line. Alex came out to our home and inspected the three floors that were impacted. Alex was professional; he listened to me explain what happened and he was attentive as I explained the areas of concern where the previous mitigation company failed to listen and take action. Alex checked everything that we asked him to check and then he checked even more. Alex found a wall that was still wet that my husband and I did not even point out and the first company overlooked. I really appreciate that he he identified this additional area as the safety of my family depends on our home being dry and safe. Alex also confirmed other ares that the first company said were dry were not actually dry. Even more important to us was that Alex acknowledged that areas we were concerned with would need to be checked. Alex cleared the need to remove additional flooring, walls, a portion of the ceiling, a vanity, flooring, and insulation with our insurance company. These were all items the first company refused to check even after we asked repeatedly and water marks were visible. Tessica called and scheduled us an appointment with the remediation team. Josh Schumacher and Collin were our remediation team. Both of these men were professional and attentive as we once again explained what happened. Josh had notes from Alex but he still listened to everything we had to say and he was very reassuring that him and Collin would make sure our home was dry and safe. The two of them answered any questions we had during the process and they treated our property with respect as they deconstructed the wet areas of our home. The two of them also cleaned up after themselves as they went along. When they finished everything on their list they asked us if we had any other areas of concerns. I informed Josh that there were still spots in the basement that needed to be checked. I told Josh that Alex had already gotten approval for these items to be checked. Josh said it was not a problem and he would reachg out to Alex after I showed him were the areas were. I appreciate that Josh listened to me, checked the area, and then corresponded with Alex. The reprsentative of the first company we called tended to ignore our thoughts. Alex confirmed that these areas had been approved for work and apologized that the information was left off the report. This could have caused my husband and I additional stress but because of how Josh and Alex handled the situation we felt no increased stress. Josh and Collin found water and wetness in the areas we were concerned about. They safely removed our vanity to find that water had settled under the vanity. Josh and Collin set up the air movers and humidifiers and they walked us through everything they had deconstructed. They also fogged areas with antimicrobial. The two of them asked if there was anything else we needed before leaving. Kevin came out the following day to check the wetness ratings of the material in our home. He moved a few blowers around and he was willing to check every area I asked him to check. Kevin was very understanding of our desire to make sure our home was safe. Josh came out the next day as we had indicated we are normally home during the day but we happened to be gone when he arrived. He reached out to us on the phone and he made arrangements to come back later that day. Our overall experience with Service Master Restoration by BTM was very good.

ServiceMaster did a fantastic job for us. We had an attic fire, which led to quite a bit of smoke and water damage. Tracy and her crew did a fantastic job of removing and cleaning the house contents. I really had no idea how much Tracy herself had packed until it was all returned to us! The boxes (and furniture) were expertly packed and labeled (a complete list of all contents was also provided) and everything that could be salvaged was cleaned and restored to pre-fire condition. No trace of smoke smell whatsoever. Communication throughout the process was professional and reassuring - much appreciated, since we really had no idea what to expect. We could not be happier with the services provided!

Our basement backed up and Service Master was so responsive. Jason came out, listened to us and got the ball rolling. He has been wonderful throughout this mess. Informative and helpful all while reassuring us everything is going to work out. From dispatch, we have been very happy with this company. Hopefully we won’t need them again, but if we do have water issues, they’ll be our go to!

Blake, Jason and Josh delivered fully on their name - they are the masters of service in all they do. Our main floor hall bath had overflowed all night and we woke up to water damage it the entire bath, front hallway, entryway, and a nice waterfall running into our basement.Blake came and quickly assessed the damage. Within a couple of hours Josh and Jason arrived and had all of the flooring pulled up in the damaged areas and had the fans blowing. Within three days the floors were dried out and now they will be helping with the restoration, too. We hired ServiceMaster Restoration by BTM to do an emergency mold remediation job in our house. My wife’s colleague recommended them to us, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else. They came, examined the room, and gave us a quote within a few hours, and were able to start the job two days later, when the two other companies I had called were just calling me back to come to look. They made sure that the moisture levels in the affected room were lower than recommended, and were happy to answer our questions. A+ service!

Im a repeat customer of Service Masters. This company delivers everytime. Ive had extensive water damage as well as sewage backup. ServiceMaster was definitely the company I felt confident in after getting three quotes for the work. They delivered excellent service and surpassed expectations. Alex was great at inspecting the water damaged area and providing an estimate that was very fair. Kevin and Colin led the demo/water damage remediation team and they were awesome. They even saved all of the original baseboards and trim!

Having your home nearly destroyed by water damage is overwhelmingly stressful. I had a pipe burst which caused damage to several rooms in my home on a Saturday afternoon. My insurance company put me in touch with ServiceMaster Restoration. My first contact was with Renea. She was absolutely amazing. She first calmed me down and assured me that she would send her team out to assess the damage and begin the dry out. She said her team was on another call at the moment but she would get them to my location ASAP. She estimated about 7pm, she asked if that was ok. I told her absolutely. Her team arrived, Daniel and Kevin, at approximately 7:20pm. They assessed the massive amount of damage by taking photos and noting everything that I showed them was damaged by the water. I had water running down the walls and standing on the carpet. It had even ran into the duct work. Daniel and Kevin both were extremely pleasant considering the situation. They both were very knowledgeable about how to take care of the problem. They assured me that they had seen situations like this and I was in good hands with ServiceMaster. They brought in commercial size dehumidifiers and fans to start the dry out process and said they would be back in the morning.Daniel and Connor returned on Sunday morning to remove wet carpet pad, baseboards and cut a few holes in the drywall to help in the dry out process. Again both were very pleasant. They brought additional fans as well to float the carpets. I am extremely satisfied with their expertise and service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with water damage.

I recently moved to the area, then bought a house and moved again. Had a water heater flood my place weeks after moving. I had to deal with several different people (insurance, moving company, plumber, real estate agents). Honestly most of the experience has jaded me toward anything in the custom service industry. Servicemaster was the one company that went well above my expectations. They showed up on time. They were available 24/7 and easy to reach. I have never left a review anywhere because this is the first time I have been impressed enough to do so. Highly recommend.

The sewage drain in my basement overflowed and flooded my basement pretty good. I originally called Roto-Rooter to handle everything (cleaning, clearing out the damaged items, taking out dry wall etc.) and was quoted over double what ServiceMaster did. Thankfully, my insurance got me hooked up with ServiceMaster to complete the job as Im not sure Roto-Rooter would have held a flame to what ServiceMaster provided.You have an amazing group of people who perform an unpleasant task with great skill, efficiency and compassion. I could not have been more impressed with you, your people and the whole experience. I will always recommend ServiceMaster!
