If I could put zero stars I would . I love to support small businesses especially now knowing COVID has affected many small businesses, I went in for a jewelry fix and felt discriminated. In my visit to go pick them up the lady proceeds to ask me if I’m illegal and then continues asking me what I think about the border as a Hispanic that is very offensive and very unprofessional to ask a client based off of their color of skin. Everyone has their own opinions but that’s just simply a question that you don’t ask

Bad experience multiple times! Dropped off a ring to be resized and owner was very rude on multiple occasions. No longer take our jewelry here. Needs to work on customer service skills and professionalism.

Great little shop, locally owned and run. Very friendly folks! Feel sorry for them, stopped in for a repair and they had been robbed, yes very sad to say.

I love supporting family owned and operated businesses and I must say Sherwood Jewelers is the best jeweler experience Ive ever had. Not only are they fantastic people, they know their business. I was so impressed I consigned Mark to make me a custom piece. I created this design idea 40 years ago and he did a marvelous job. My wife charishes this piece and I do too! In fact Mark doesnt know yet, but Im going to have him make another piece, similar but even more elaborate. Mark is a true artist . . .and their price marks are pretty reasonable too!

Both man and wife are extremely rude. Replaced the battery in one watch. but rudely threw the second one back to me and insisted “I don’t do tune-ups for watches.” OKAY buddy, no skin off my back I can go somewhere else who’s a real watch tech and not a hack cheap jeweler. Take your business to a better local shop, I’m going to old town next time.

The couple that own this place are a wonderful husband and wife who have been in that same spot for over 30 years if I remember correctly. The gentleman is the Jeweler and custom makes most all of the jewelry that you will ooh and ahh over in their cases. Theyre very honest and comfortable with being very matter of fact which I value very much ESPECIALLY in that type of business. I absolutely love this couple and what they bring to the table. They will bend over backwards to help their customers but theyre not going to take any shyte from some rude Richard Craniums either. If you want beautiful jewelry and you want to be comfortable in know your purchase was from honest and good people. Then go to SHERWOOD JEWELERS! You wont be disappointed.

+JMJ...Sunday, 12.22.2019, revising my previous review. Three star rating remains but I must change my initial very negative comments. Even though the lady owner has a very interesting and direct personality that didnt set well with me (she doesnt like cats! ☹) I must be fair and state that her behaviour shouldnt taint by visit to her store. It is very nicely arranged with showcases housing beautiful jewelry. My order of a pair of small hooped ear rings arrived in less than one week and are very lovely. Something else, she does have two beautiful miniature Doberman Pinchers(?) who provide a homey atmosphere for me a pet lover.

Went there to have an engagement ring made. I brought in my own stone and picked out a setting. Ring turned out so nice. Very responsible prices and quality work. Will definitely return for other custom jewelry work.

While their communication may be abrupt at times, they do solid work and are very fair on their prices. One of the prongs that held the stone on my wedding ring broke and I lost the stone. They scoured their shop and found a perfect match! They did an excellent job repairing my ring and gave me an unbeatable price!

Always polite and they do an incredible job on jewelry repairs. Also good selection of diamond engage rings and more.

Mark has done a few custom pieces for me. Very well pleased. Honest and fair.

Management is untrustworthy

Beatuful jewlery but the lady running the place was extremely rude. I came in looking for wedding rings with my future wife. We sat down with the lady and started trying on rings. I picked one up and she called me cheap . After asking what I did for a living she started bashing me for my profession, calling all sorts of names with profanity , along with scum of the earth calling me a liar ECT ECT. Not the experience I was looking for and definitely not what I would call customer service.

I walked into this business looking for a wedding band to go with my existing engagement ring. My fiancé was not with me at the time. The woman was so abrupt and rude and actually asked me if I was sure if my diamond ring was real!!!! She was so offensive and rude I left in tears. My engagement ring is a lovely 3 stone one karat white gold ring and Yes lady, it is real! Not the way to treat someone who is shopping for such a joyous occasion. We are local and have two wedding bands to purchase plus some other jewelry design and we will not be spending a penny at this business! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!
