Love going to Mavis in Cortland NY. I’m treated like family and the prices there can’t be beat. They do excellent work and go above my expectations. They show me in detail what is the issues that need to be addressed and are fast and getting the work done no matter the job. My car runs extremely well for having over 113,000 miles on it and it drives like I bought it yesterday. Thank you so much for the service Mavis and I’ll be back in a few months for preventative maintenance on my car. 🙏🙏🙏

Went there when my car desperately needed an oil change. Scheduled the oil change and they got me in an out pretty fast considering they were super busy that day. The people were nice and the price was good. They even put a little sticker for when the next oil change is due which was really helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Purchased a new set of tires for my car and got an alignment. Pricing was competitive for good quality work and tires. Knowledgeable and polite employees. Went in to get a new set of tires yesterday and was amazed by the speed and efficiency of the entire team working at the store. I thought i only needed tires but with Codys help i realized i had a few other maintenance issues that needed attention and with Codys expert assistance l got my service done quickly and was out of there in a timely manner. Great service. Purchased tires from here several times over the years. Had a flat tire, brought it down for repair, thought Id have to leave it. Manager told me theyd have it done it 10 minutes. They didnt have to do that but thats what gets repeated business and Ill definitely be back.

My appointment was misplaced and no matter how many times I scheduled it was not there. I scheduled online, I called and scheduled, but nothing. The one thing that I appreciated was the fact that I was still able to be fit in for an appointment. Usually I like to schedule appointments, so I dont feel like I am barging in or inconveniencing someone.

I went in late last week to have my tires checked. (I am always nervous walking into a garage as a single woman not knowing much about vehicles). Sean took my car right in and found out what was wrong immediately and explained it so that I understood. He fixed the problem and I was out within 20 minutes.

I am not from the area and blew a tire on 81. Called and spoke with Jonathan who assured me they could fit me in and help me. Shea was so kind upon my arrival and throughout the whole process. Kind staff that did wonderful work. I would highly recommend this place!

We called this am and the Cortland ny store was able to mount and balance 4 new tires on our truck and fit is in. This is the second time that we ended up in an emergency situation and they came through!

They also take care of! They do a great job on my car. I have always had a great experience here!

This place was able to get tires on my car ONE DAY before my typical mechanics. HUGE MISTAKE. 400$ for 2 tires and i get a flat the day i bought them. A screw (with the head on the inside of the tire and the pointy part on outside of tire ground off with a grinder) on a brand new tire, with an hours worth of driving. It would appear that it was drilled in b4 mounting to cause a slow leak and keep me coming back. I go back the next morning and its UNREPAIRABLE, YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE NEW TIRES. Zero help. He went straight into salseman mode trying to sell me new tires, when i question their business practices, he tells his guys to take my car off the lift and not to touch it. They refused to help me at all and demanded i drive away on the LITERALLY HISSING AIR TIRE, very unsafe and unprofessional. Perhaps illegal? I drive a 1/4 mile down the road and got the tire patched within minutes. I called Mavis corporate office and im waiting for them to do a review of the footage. Absolutely horrible experience and Ill spend the rest of my life bad mouthing Mavis tire to everyone i meet.

I called the Cortland location at the last minute on the last day of the month to get my car inspected. They were jammed packed but said if you can leave it we’ll do it. Other places told me it would be 3 or 4 days!! The managers there are great, staff are polite and friendly. I will definitely go back. They were awesome! Very impressed.

I went there on a Sunday afternoon while they were slammed. I had two screws in my tire and needed it fixed in a hurry. Sean got me in and out very quickly. Friendly staff and great service.

Only place in town that has free air way to go

I would HIGHLY recommend this place to any and everyone. Sean main is excellent with customer care. They do exceptional work on my vehicle everytime and always make me feel welcome. Rarely do I walk into anywhere these days and get greeted with a smile but I swear everytime I walk in there thats the first thing I see wether it be sean or anyone else that works there. The prices are unbeatable and the care put into each and every vehicle is phenomenal!!!! 5 stars all the way. If I could id rate this place 10 stars. I promise you will not regret choosing mavis!

Came in for a tire rotation, everything seemed to go well. A few days later was dropping my front right tire to do some work on the car and to my surprise found that 3 wheel nuts have been cross threaded and were stuck solid. Called in to Mavis and after explaining the situation they told me they would call me back. Guess what? No one did. I am never going here again!

I got a fix it ticket for my tail light lane being out and and I fixed it the next morning, the Mavis re came out and did a 2 minute inspection signed off that it was fixed for free. And even offered me advice on how to best present the letter that it was signed off as fixed. Really nice kid, healed me out of a decent fine, thank you!

Ive dealt with this mavis location several times and have no complaints. Shay and Sean have always got me in and out on time.

After getting burned by the Ithaca location, I returned to the Cortland location. I called and spoke with Shae on Friday and scheduled a 1230pm appointment for mounting and balancing 4 snow tires on Saturday. I arrived a little before 1230pm and Shae recalled speaking with me yesterday and assured me the four tires were in the store. I received a call 130pm that my car was done. Throughout the experience I never felt like I was being upsold which I can’t say is true of the Ithaca Mavis. Thank you for your honest and efficient work. I will continue to return to the Cortland Mavis for my tire needs.

The people that work at Mavis tire Are honest and never try to sell me things I don’t need! They truly care about their customers they go above and beyond to make sure you come back. I’m going there for A long time now .

They managed to fit me in fairly last minute with a snow tire change! Staff were very quick and professional and the manger Steve, was so lovely and kept me entertained while I waited! Couldn’t recommend this place more! Thankyou

I enjoyed the service and thought nothing of it the first day when I was asked to reschedule my appointment. The next day they denied i was a customer. They made me pay twice for installing tires and when I went home the tires werent the ones I ordered. The company had stolen my new tires and given me an old set. I will never have anything to do with this company again.

My wife and I have been going to Mavis in Cortland for years and they have kept us on the road. Fast service and excellent work. You can trust these folks with your car.

Snake oil sales they do anything to upsale. They try hard to sale you 4 tires of you need 1 dont waste you time or money the store manager is needs to go back to tech school. If you have on AWD check the manufacturer recommendation on replacing 1 tire. For a Subaru its 2/32nd

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Just absolutely horrific service. Bought 1 tire from here and a week later had a large tear around the rim. Bought another tire from here a year later and it kept going low. Brought it in a number of times to get it fixed, didnt get fixed. The sealer was when I left my car here all day to get serviced while I was at work and they never touched it. They didnt know about it despite me calling 4 days prior and setting up the appointment.

My vehicle drives great now. I had a lot done and they were still able to get it to me by 3.Great service.

I took it in with a few specific problems and when I picked it up (earlier than what they quoted me btw) those were the only things we discussed. Other garages Ive been to, if you leave your vehicle and youre not exactly knowledgeable then when you pick it up theres always about $100-$150 worth of stuff wrong with it that have nothing to do with what I left my vehicle there for anyway. Mavis is trustworthy. They were fast. I would def recommend them to anyone.

Fast service, quality work, and specials that cant be beat. Especially in NY...tires for cheap, which is fine because summers are so short. So having winter tires is a must. Had free brake inspection, and had front and rear pads installed, along with a new back tire and a front caliper. Work was done very quick. And very convenient. Anyone on a tight budget, which most of us are these days, should consider this shop as a go-to.

Its the best place in town to go for all your automotive needs and the crew there is the best. Theyve done lots of work on all my cars and never had an issuse.

Visited with boyfriend,he needed tires and he got a terrific deal. Great staff and great service!

Got brake pads and rotors fixed. And got car inspected. Paid around $230. Thought everything was good. Brake light was not working yet it somehow passed inspection.Was driving about 1 hour after getting car back. And car stalled and would not run. Called Mavis and they wanted us to get the car towed to them to check it out. But it would of cost over $100. So I took it to a garage near where the car broke down and they said the CV Shaft broke. And it could not have been from a pothole. So we called Mavis and they said theyre not liable even though the other garage said it was probably caused by Mavis taking off the rotors and pounding on them and somehow must have ruined it.Mavis was really rude about the situation and ignored the fact that they caused it and wouldnt even fix it.Would not recommend them to anyone.The garage where we broke down was caring and very friendly. Thankful I didnt break down near Mavis.

I just found an old favorite; Cole/Mavis and had some simple work done and have now started on a long list of things to bring my car back to better shape. The staff have all been so good! I get in fast, the work is done fast, the prices are very good! I have laughed when I waited in the waiting area a few times to hear so many people say, Is that all!!! when they get their bill. I appreciate that they have noticed small issues and let me know about them and have taken me out to show me what is needed. Very impressed and grateful to have found a good shop!
