Great location, across the street from the sandy beach. Great communication. Room was very spacious and open. Pool was nice and warm, plenty of bath towels and if you needed more, just ask. Only downfall we had is we had to give back the wrist bands (which I can understand). Our kids wanted to keep them as a keepsake. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay we are definitely going to book again very soon.

We have such a great time when we stay here and this year was no exception. The units are always neat and clean. There is a great assortment of pots & pans for cooking in the kitchen. The beach is about a 5 minute drive away. This year my grandson forgot something in the room & we didnt realize it was missing until we got home. I called Padre Escapes office (Emily Wilson) and she found his bag and made sure he got it back. We will stay here every time we are in Padre. Thank you, Emily!

My wife and I take a month long trip to North Padre Island and we are going on four years with Padre Escapes. We prefer a local vacation company versus a national so that we have someone local we can call on if need be. When we first booked with them we went to their office and found the entire staff to be kind and helpful. It makes it so much better for us to have them local and they have always responded to our needs as soon as we contact them. They have so many beautiful rentals to choose from and we have stayed in several of them and all are well equipped with everything we need. Since we had a entire month we decide to look at various ones and they were all so helpful in allowing us to go in and see them. We highly recommend Padre Escapes for a fun and worry free vacation!

Very clean we have used them several times, and never been disappointed. Always a great experience and a nice place to go with everything provided.. it’s like being at home just at the beach .. free WiFi. Good selection of kitchen stuff for cooking. Ours had private pier to fish. Shared pool and hot tub. Will be back again next year

My parents came down from Oklahoma and booked a condo on Windward Dr. The unit was not clean at all. There was sand everywhere and the floors had some kind of substance stuck on them. Broken lamps, broken chairs and there was nasty dried up food everywhere. The intention was for us to stay with them for the weekend, but the bottom bunk bed mattress is broken and the bed is hard as a rock! My parents are elderly and dont know how to contact anyone! For $350/night it is hardly worth it.

This is the second year our family has booked with Padre Escapes. We are looking forward to our stay and know it will be as great as last year. I spoke to Raquel, the PE associate, today and she was very knowledgeable and treated my call with superb professionalism! I felt like a valued customer. Wonderful place for a larger family! With three teenagers and two adults, we have always been cramped for space, but here we had plenty of room to spread out. The Beach Haven condo could potentially sleep 10.Communication was excellent from start to finish. The company emailed and texted us to remind us that the final payment was going to be automatically drafted. On the day of our vacation, they sent us the door code and other necessary instructions; and on the day of checkout, they simply sent a link for us to say all checked out.House was spacious and roomy; appliances were modern; everything was ABSOLUTELY clean and ready for us to move in. Everything that we needed was provided, from toilet paper to dish soap to hand soap -- the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes to eat from and also to cook with. My daughter especially enjoyed the Keurig while we were there!The location was fantastic -- centrally located about 20 minutes from Corpus Christi (great dining and shopping) and about 20 minutes from our favorite beaches in Port Aransas.We will absolutely use Padre Escapes again. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful one!

This is the place to book your Corpus Christi vacation rental. There homes all well kept and clean...they have pet friendly units...they come with everything you need to feel at home...the booking process is simple too...we have stayed with Padre Escapes at least 4 times and they never disappoint...they have games for you to play or the kids and sometimes beach toys in the pantry for you to use and bring back...its just the best!!!

We made a reservation for a months stay at the Beach Club on North Padre but because of the uncertainty of Covids vaccine distribution decided to cancel our much anticipated stay. Padre Escapes were very understanding, pleasant and accommodating about our cancellation. They are an excellent company to deal with. Highly impressed.

Check in and out are extremely easy! They text you a code and you don’t have to deal with keys.There were 9 of us—7 were teenagers—and we had a great time! The house was extremely clean. Nothing was dirty at all. There were a lot of things provided that I didn’t expect it to have, like great cooking pans, etc. Bedrooms are good size and there are closets in all of them, along with dressers in the rooms with king beds.The full size washer and dryer were fantastic to wash towels and swim gear every day. The pool was right out our back door. It is clean and nice and all of the people swimming were fun and polite.The A/C works great, tv in every room, big refrigerator and a good sized pantry for all the food we brought.The beach is extremely easy to access, and having a beach permit to drive right onto the beach made it so easy!We are already planning to book this same house at least once a year from now on. It is fantastic!

This was my first time booking through this site. It was a very easy process. Unfortunately, I needed to cancel my trip, but I chatted with Emily on their website, and she made it a very quick and easy process as well. I will certainly consider this site again to book a rental property that they cover.

We have always been treated very well each year we have stayed with Padre Escapes. Their staff are willing to go beyond what would be expected to assist. This is the first year we are unable to visit, and when I called to cancel our reservation it was taken care of within minutes and a refund was immediate. We will be back.

We love Padre Escapes. El Constante, plan to come back as soon as things look better. Its the very best and will miss it in Jan.

Two thumbs up! Property management provides good, communication and instructions. Very clean condo. Plenty of TVs. Short walk to the beach across the street. Complex has a nice pool. Completely contactless check-in and check-out. No issues. Will book again.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservation (hoping to reschedule soon). Padre Escapes lived up to their Covid cancellation policy of allowing a 72-hour cancellation for full refund, no questions asked. They responded and refunded within minutes of my contacting them. Ill definitely book with them again and looking forward to actually getting to stay in one of their properties.

Let me first start off by saying the customer service was impeccable! Amber specifically went above and beyond when helping me to book my weekend stay and Padre Escapes was very accommodating when changes needed to be made. We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and the unit was clean, with the exception of a few dishes in the cabinets that we had to rewash. No big deal. We loved being so close to the beach and the view was nice. One huge concern I did have was that the rails on the balcony were in poor condition. One piece was detached, and any small child could easily fall through and down 6 floors to the ground. Luckily our 4 year old wasn’t with us for this stay. If you are hot natured, this probably isn’t the unit for you. There is a sign on the wall that states you can only keep it on 72 degrees or above or the AC unit will freeze and stop working. Sleeping was uncomfortable most of the stay because of this and my husband and I woke up sweating a few times because of this.. The grounds keepers and office employees were very nice, however the grounds and landscaping need some help.. A simple clean up of the landscaping inside of the courtyard would make all the difference! The exterior of the complex is “rough” and outdated, but the room was nicely renovated. I would probably not stay at this specific unit again, but it was ok for a short weekend stay! We will be returning in the future and hopefully will be able to choose a 1st floor unit. I totally recommend El Constante #106 for a couple. We had a wonderful view right on the beach. Our condo was so clean and the staff were so nice. We took our small dog and he had a great time as well. The moon was full and was just beautiful from our porch as it rose up. So many birds. We know a family would have fun as well. I thank these guys for a lovely stay.

Had 14 female family members stay at Nemos Cay for a week. The dryer didn’t work and they never fixed or replaced it. They left a towel for each person. So we washed and had to hang clothes over chairs outside. Small pool. Would not recommend renting from this company.

Had to cancel my reservations due to the virus. Was real easy to cancel and they were fast about doing it. They even offered me a 10 percent discount if I decided to book with them in the future. Very good place to do business with. Very professional

My family and I have stayed in a Padre Escapes managed condo every year for the past 8 or 9 years. We have never had an issue - our condo is always clean and ready for us (usually early so we can go ahead and get to the beach on the first day!) and we have always had phenomenal support before, during and after our stay. This time, we left a pillow behind (which might not seem like a big deal, but when its your favorite pillow and you cant sleep without it, it becomes a HUGE deal) - the whole team, from guest services to housekeeping to the front office - worked together to locate the pillow for us. I was able to go back to the office the next day where it was waiting for me. Thank you so much to all who are involved in this company! We appreciate it so much.

This was our third trip to North Padre Island and stay at Village by the Beach. We enjoy walking the beautiful beach and the access to restaurants, shopping, fishing, golfing and other entertainment this area provides. We have rented through Padre Escapes on all three of our trips and have already booked for next year. They have always dealt with any requests that have arisen from our reservations or issues with the properties we have rented promptly and pleasantly. Thankyou Padre Escapes.

My stay was good but I had a problem with one of your staff at the stripes store. The reason I know she works with you is because she had a padre escapes shirt on. Anyways I can’t believe you have that kind of person working with your company. As I was turning onto white cap I was pulling into the store when I accidentally pulled in front of her and she shot the finger at me. She continued to tell me stuff at the gas pumps. Never again will I ever ever stay in one of yours condos or even travel to corpus again. The fact that she would treat a person that way is just so wrong I didn’t even get her name but I sure did know what she drove a beige Yukon with one hub cap missing on the drivers side. Read Yelp reviews. I booked a trip to stay with Padre Escapes during their “72 hr worry free no questions asked- 100% refund back period” in July for Aug 1-7th. I needed to move my trip out two weeks, so I went on Airbnb and requested that change on my listing. I waited and waited and it was never approved. The 72 hours was quickly approaching and after numerous phone calls with no answer and mind you the mailbox is FULL and you can not leave a message, I had to cancel the trip completely. The refund amount was only $172! They have had a ZERO response rate with me regarding this and this over a 5 day period now. I obviously have been In touch with my credit card company And Airbnb, have sent the contract to them and working on getting my 100% refund back, but it’s a PAIN. My kids were looking forward to the beach and over 1,000k is tied up now. I also received several scam emails saying my payment was not processed and to re-enter my credit info that were by Padre Escapes, when my payment had in fact gone through. I messaged them and called them about this, no response. I wish I would have had a better experience, please beware. I booked another place and they responded within ONE hour. There are zero excuses for their lack of communication, but they sure can follow up on a review.

Emailed about a possible rodent problem in the fireplace that kept us up most nights.We received no response AT ALL .The place has a great location and the grounds were beautiful but the lack of communication (still havent received a response) leaves a sour taste.I would not recommend this place for that reason.If there was an emergency....what would they do.

Not sure if all Padre Escapes properties are ran as poor as El Constante, but I f so you might want to find somewhere else to rent. The location is great, and right on the beach however the way the place is ran is very unprofessional. Lots of miscommunication and supposed glitches. As well as unit we stayed in needed some upkeep. The vents are rusty and dirty as well as all light fixtures. There are missing and broken blinds in every room. Do not believe their claim on sanitization either. Take cleaning supplies and clean and sanitize for yourself. The cleaning was not the worst of it though. We had problems from the start. Looking back I wish I would have just asked for a full refund when they called me with their nonsense the day before our check in date. Just didn’t want to let the family down and since this place waited until a day before check in to call me I had no time to find somewhere else to stay such short notice. I called directly to book our vacation the end of July. Advised them we had 4 adults and 3 kids ( 1 is a baby and would be sleeping in a pack and play) I was advised the baby wouldn’t count for total count and so a 2 bedroom condo would fit our group. We were booked for El Constante room 208. Aug 1, I received the email of the rental agreement and sent it back signed with all names of those in our group including the baby. On Aug 6 (one day before check in) I get a call from Mariah informing me we were over occupancy for that room, and she would have to move us to another condo that didn’t have beach view, or charge us for another room. They claimed it was an oversight and that condo 208 only accommodates 4 people. Every other 2 bedroom condo there supposedly accommodates 6 guests but this one only 4?? I did not agree to that. Why should I? I reserved and paid for beach view. Why would they call me a day before check in? Why should I pay for an extra room for their mistake. They had all this information from the start. They say it was an oversight. I myself am wondering if this is a regular thing. If it happens to someone else I suggest you demand they make it right. Do not go to another room with less amenities but pay the same higher price for less accommodations. So anyway they said they would make it work for our visit since I wasn’t willing to budge and they refused a refund. They also stated they would not provide extra towels or linens. Extra? Heck they don’t even provide enough. So glad I took my own towels and linens. They leave 2 towels in each bathroom with a shower, and just two hand towels in downstairs 1/2 bath. So guess that’s for their supposed 4 person occupancy. But they do not give you new ones so you would literally have to use the same towel every day for however many days you stay. Like I said glad I brought my own towels. My family and I went and had a good time just because of the location not because this place is ran so great. We did have many other issues with our stay. This apparently is a pet friendly condo or the owners have a pet. Remember I said cleaning not so great. Their was some type of pet food on the floor in one of the closets as well as dog hair under the couch. I wondered why I was sneezing and when I swept the dirty floors I soon realized why. It’s fine if they want to let pets stay, however cleaning should be better especially for those of us with allergies and asthma that will be staying there after someone with a pet. Then last but not least please at check out make sure to prop the door open or leave someone in the condo to let you back in. Halfway between getting our luggage out of condo we were locked out and had to wait over 20 minutes to get back in. They changed the code and locked us out. They say there is a glitch in the system. What glitch? We never messaged saying we were checking out, so why would the code just change before the 11am check out time. That was very inconvenient. I still haven’t listed every complaint or issue we encountered. My family will definitely find another location to rent from in the future for our yearly beach trips.

I’m so disappointed to have to give this place a bad review. We stayed here about a year ago at the Sunset Dunes Townhome & it was a solid 10! Which is why, when I decided to book another trip, Padre Escapes was my first choice. We picked a townhouse at the Nemo Cay properties. Booking & payment was easy & went well. When we got to the house Friday night it was about 80° & smelled like raw fish & cigarettes. The first night we slept downstairs, it was hot and sticky the whole night despite the AC being set to 73°. The next morning our friends who stayed upstairs said that it was unbearably cold to the point where my friends son began to wheeze. I put in a work order through their app & they quickly responded. The house felt better initially but after a few hours the downstairs bedroom was humid again. We decided we’d just sleep in the empty bedroom upstairs. The bathroom sink had ash in it that couldn’t even be washed down the drain because the drain was clogged with hair! The second night was more miserable that the first. We bumped the AC up to 75° & continued to raise it but it was still unbearably cold. We all had to sleep with multiple blankets. I was glad to wake up this morning, pack up & get out of there. I don’t know if certain locations run differently but I would at least say don’t stay at the Nemo Cay location.

Very disappointed in the customer service and hospitality of this company. We had such high hopes as everything leading up the trip was going so well. We received constant communication with the staff. We were told that there would be extra cleaning due to covid reasons. Upon arrival, the bathrooms were still very dirty. We are not picky people and are ok with just dealing with things, but there was hair everywhere and nothing was wiped down, you could see finger prints on the glass and the counter tops. After being there for 1 day, Hurricane Hanna was on its way. I understand that the responsibility is on us for purchasing insurance. We had 5 kids including 2 infants and the power kept going on and off. After calling twice and sending a few emails about what our options were, as many many people in this situation that we know of were able to maybe change dates during a free time or come to a conclusion on something. No response. TO THIS DAY, NO RESPONSE. After our families are very upset as this was our first family vacation all together and do not live near each other, we had to leave and say goodbye after a short time due to the hurricane. We had to put the safety of our Kids first. While on the road, we received a text about the power going out. Stating, we will be reaching back out to you in the next 24 hours to discuss options and charges. Ok great! We were so excited to think that there could be something, anything, that could be done to help us out as we have booked this place for 4 nights and 5 days. it was not cheap. Well then, about an hour later we received another text stating: Please disregard the last message, that was intended for todays arrivals only. So basically I took that as, we dont care that you and your family are out of power because you already checked in, but we only care about the brand new people checking in today. Then stated they would send out another message when they got a status update on power. So we waited around and took our family and kids walking around stores, as it was raining and windy outside, to wait on the power to kick on. Well to this day, they still havnt let us know that the power came back on or anything at all. It is very unprofessional to send text messages like that. Then to say sorry that was not meant for you like they dont care about us bc we were already there. I have sent multiple emails, nicely asking what can we do or if anything can be done. This is my first time to every leave a review let alone this bad of one. Any customer service or check in would have gone a long way with me and my family. I know it is not there fault that the hurricane came but come on. You have multiple guest and you should have a plan to communicate with all of them to at least act like you care. And not to mention, the had the nerve to text me and ask to bring the outside furniture inside to avoid damage. I would gladly have done that no problem at all. However, NO RESPONSE FROM THEM! EVER! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So thank you Padre Escapes for all the help you did not provide. And thank you for the text messages and not replying to any calls or emails. We greatly appreciate the customer service we received..... We didnt except a lot, but anything would have been better then what we received.

Ive used Padre Escapes vacation rentals for about a couple of years and have loved the condos Ive rented. Great for a family getaway, couples vacation or with a great group of friends. The condos are close to the beach, clean and affordable. And the Staff at check in are very helpful! 2 thumbs up in my book. Cant wait to book our next getaway!

We had to cancel our trip at the last minute due to a county-wide COVID lockdown, but Padre Escapes was SO helpful, gave us a full refund, and offered a discount off our next stay. We have stayed on Padre Escapes properties twice. We love how close El Constante is to the beach. Both 1BDR & 2BDR options are roomy and cozy. Checkin & checkouts are easy and simple. We are planning to stay again this summer.

Unfortunately very disappointed. I had planned this trip for my two foster boys that have never been to the beach. They were so excited about spending the whole weekend at the beach. But due to a power outage we had to leave a day early. I was not about to have my small children in a hot condo where they would be in danger. We drove home to San Antonio. I then reached out to the lease agent and they said there was nothing they could do to refund me a night. They gave me a $100 which was not even close to the $1000 I spent. This is not the way I do busy definitely not about family or doing the right thing. I will never stay at this place again. Here I thought I was making memories for two children that have never been to the beach and it was ruined. Sad.

Stayed at a condo in the island 1/2 mile from the beach for the holidays. It was freezing cold & raining but we still had a ball. We’ll definitely be back, luv the 3rd Coast Vibes.

While I would love to leave a 5 star review, there are several issues that made our experience uncomfortable. We first attempted to reach out to management about these issues and never heard back. We would like to even return for future vacations, however these issues remain unaddressed. First of all, we came in to not having functional TVs. One room has a TV but no cable. The other has a roku but cable box does not work, and the other room has nothing working as far as TV goes. This never was addressed but simply noted. Secondly, the air took 2 days to cool to 70 degrees. During the day it never got below 75. It was cool in the master room and hot in the rest of the house. When you come to the beach, it is nice to have a cool house to cool off after a day in the sun. Additionally, the bathtub leaked onto the couch and we had to rearrange while we waited for this to be repaired. This was a major inconvenience. The dryer took 3 times to dry clothes. A maintenance man removed a button on there, left it on one setting, never replaced it and the dryer still did not work.Overall we had a nice vacation, but we are dissatisfied with the fact these issues were not properly addressed or resolved. As stated, we tried to reach out to the business but never were contacted to resolve this, leaving us with no choice but to leave this review.

We are staying for 2 nights, checked in on Friday the ladies in the office super friendly and professional. The minute we walked in the unit you smell clean and fresh, the condo is everything we need to have fun, big comfortable good decor, and great selection on the kitchen utensils.. Happy birthday to me.. cant wait to see you guys soon..

Nice, clean condo. Everything in it was almost new. Front desk was friendly and easy to talk to. Requested baking soda to remove the fish/bait smell from referigerator. Maintenance came right away and put in. Front desk also recommended great resturants. Loved our stay!

Beautifully decorated condo with modern appliances. Really makes you feel relaxed. Quiet complex with gorgeous pool and water features. A great place to have a romantic get away or family vacation.

My family and I recently stayed at a brand new condo through padre escapes. This rating would be a 5 Star based on the facility itself, but the customer service needs some work.We received a bunch of notifications through email leading up to the trip, but it said the information would come through an app that we had to download. After downloading the app, I went to get more information about checking in but it was nowhere to be found so I contacted padre escapes.They said the check-in information would be texted to me the day of the rental at 4 pm when the unit is ready. My family beat me and my wife down to the rental hut we didn’t receive any information at 4 pm so I contacted the office. They told me there was maintenance at our location and it wasn’t ready but they’d contact me when it was.My family was waiting outside of the unit and there wasn’t anyone at the condo. They had groceries and a young child so they contacted the office again to see what the status was. 30 minutes later, someone came and let them in the condo.The condo was perfect once we got into the rental and the pool was perfect after a long day at the beach. Once they work out the kinks with communication and getting rooms to the consumer on time, they will provide de a much better experience.

We stayed at Village by the Beach for our family trip and it was great! Padre Escapes was so helpful and kind. The condo was very clean and such a great location. We were minutes away from the beach and schlitterbahn. We will definitely be coming back for our next vacation!

I have utilized the services of Padre Escapes for years now. I have stayed in several of their condos and each one has been clean and fulfilled my needs for the trip. They have always been professional, and willing to go out of their way to ensure our stay is the best that it can be. From booking the trip, to the check in, the stay, and the departure is all stream lined and easy to do. I have booked stays on the website, and I have booked them via phone, and both are easy to do. They have been doing this for a long time now, and their skill shines brightly as professionals that want you to feel at home on your stay.We like to stay in Seascape units, it is located on Lake Padre which is off of the Packery Channel. This gives us easy access to the Gulf or the Bay when we go fishing in our boat. They have some boat slips that are well protected from the wind. This last trip people were pulling red fish and tarpon out of the lake.All the units are clean and fully stocked with everything that we needed to make us feel at home. The beds are comfortable and it can be easy to oversleep due to it. Island time is the best time. No worries while we are visiting the island. We have never had an issue with a rental from Padre Escapes.I highly recommend Padre Escapes to anyone who wants to book a stay in a condo or home in the Corpus Christi area. If you choose them, you will not regret it. I am sure they will treat you with the same professionalism that they have treated us over the years. We just finished another great vacation and are already planning for our next weekend get away. We miss it already and it has only been two days. Can not wait to come back again.

We stayed at Padre Escapes Vacation Rentals the last week of February into the first week of March. The accomendations were fantastic. New and very clean condos. The location was great- easy to get around. Close to all the attractions we visited. Also, it was quiet- we all slept great! It had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

This was a wonderful rental for my husband and I. We recently retired and decided to go somewhere warmer for 30 days (were from Illinois). We found this wonderful 2 bedroom rental (1 king size bed downstairs and a Queen bed and a full size bed upstairs in 1 room). We originally were only looking for a 1 bedroom rental, that took pets. Bonus was since there were 2 bedrooms, we invited some friends to come and visit while we were there and had a great time with them. It had everything we needed for our 30 day stay. It was roomy, clean, and decorated beautifully. One item that we found lacking was the skillets - they were not Teflon coated, so everything we cooked stuck to the bottom and was then hard to clean. We ended up going to Walmart (a short drive away) and bought a Teflon coated skillet. Theres not a lot of space in the kitchen cabinets for storage for an extended stay since they have them jam packed with everything you could possible need - which we solved by rearranging and stacking items we didnt use within the cabinets. Appliances were great. Plenty of closet space (may need to bring your own hangers if youre staying for a longer period of time - they have about 10-12 in each closet). Big flat screen TV in living room and smaller flat screen Tvs in bedrooms. There were 2 spaces allotted to us for parking, which was right next to the unit, which is an end unit (so only 1 neighbor to deal with). We never heard our neighbors and they said they never heard us - great insulation between the units. It was within walking distance to the beach and the pool area was great. Well lit at night. Very pet friendly (although they do charge an extra fee for pets). This complex was built in 2016, as Phase 1. They are currently building Phase 2 to be completed in May 2017 (which is even closer to the beach). A phase 3 is also planned. They have a number of 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units. They rent by the day, the week, or the month. Overall - a great place to stay, especially if you live in colder weather. We experienced mostly 70-80 degrees on average, with a few days a little colder and a few days a little hotter from January 21 to February 20, 2017. Be prepared for the wind - seems like every other day was windy, but thats a small price to pay for the location and the price. Downtown Corpus Christie (and the airport) is about 30 minutes away and they have a lot to offer. We ate out at several restaurants on North Padre Island and never had a bad meal or experience.

Weve only enjoyed great experiences during our multiple stays with Padre Escapes. Cant wait for the next one!

Our experience with The Padre Escape team was one of the worst I have ever had. I am a very down to earth reasonable person that ALWAYS tries to work any issues out but the were not willing to come to a happy medium. We had told them we would be there very early heading from Houston and that we wanted to have access to the property. After many broken promises to have the place ready early, when we got there they told us we could not be in the property until around 3 or 4 pm!!!!!! We had arrived at 9 am. Then after getting there to try to work something out a worker that we were not even working with us completely disrespected us and asked us to leave very unprofessionally. We decided to not use this business and headed to a new location in such short notice. By far the worst experience I have ever encountered!!!!!!!!!! But it is ok because God had a better plan for our stay!!!!!!

My husband and I have been staying at El Constante for over twenty years and never had any problems. Now that Padre Escapes has take over we will no longer be staying there. I made last minute reservations to stay over the Memorial Day weekend. I was really excited they had a room because I had a previous reservation that I had to cancel due to an emergency and I thought they would be booked. The young woman I spoke to said they had a room, but we couldnt come in until Saturday. I was fine with that. We had 4 other families staying there that weekend and I was really happy just to be able to go again. The weekend before we were due to arrive I received a text saying our room was ready. I called to let them know I received the text. They put me on hold for a while and then said they made a mistake and had us coming in that weekend. They also said there were no other rooms at El Constante but we could stay at a different location near shlitterbahn. I was upset, but I agreed. I did not read the date on the email they sent (Because I had never had a problem before, my bad). I asked if we could at least hang out at the pool with our family even though we were not guests. I was told that would be fine and we could get bands when we got there)When we arrived we went to Padre Escapes Office, again I asked about the bands. They said just let them know in the office about getting the bands. When we got to El Constante the people there had no idea what we were talking about and basically called us liars. I asked them to call Padre Escapes to verify. When they did, no one at Padre Escapes would say they agreed. I asked to speak to the Manager and he basically told us too bad, we could not hang out with our family at the pool. He was the worst out of all the people I had already talked to.The room they put us in was like the Bates Motel, the pool was hotter than the hot tub, and our view was the Shlitterbahn parking lot. The final straw was when we turned on the TV we had no cable, not even basic channels. WHen we called for the hundredth time they said they hadnt had the cable box updated yet. They offered to discount our room.At that point we asked for a full refund and drove back 3 hours to San Antonio. I was so disappointed in how poorly we were treated. I keep reading reviews where some one from their office keeps trying to justify their mistakes by offering money back, or blaming the customers for what they feel they did wrong. I dont need or want a response. Its not necessary. I just hope whoever chose them as a management company realizes that they have lost several very loyal vacationers to El Constante.

Great rental company, quick with repairs, and the condos they rent are very nice and reasonably priced.

Absolutely terrible. Accusations were brought up against me that were not true at all and costed me an extra 250!!!

Dryer not working, they promised to send someone to fix it all day. Forty five minutes before closing they called to say they wouldnt be able to send anyone until tomorrow. No refund per rental agreement so you get to pay for amenities you dont use.

We have spent our July 4 trip at El Constante the past few years. This year we reserved #205 (in January) a Beach front that we were super excited about. Only to find out a few days before, that construction would not be completed in time. I understand that Padre Escapes only began to manage El Constante in May. But still, whenever Padre Escapes took on the job of managing El Constante, it also took on any liabilities that may occur thereafter.We now have to switch to a 1 Bedroom (Dune View) at small percent discount. We had to request time in far in advance to make this family vacation happen. So the small discount does not even come close to the inconvenience this has caused.I understand this inconvenience is not Padre Escapes fault, but as a company that now represents El Constante they need to take accountability and offer much better compensation in cases such as these. Especially after having reserved a beach front room for a whole week. And because of this experience, its left a really bad reflection of what I thought their customer service should be in cases such as these.UPDATE as of 6/30So after having tried to get the compensation I deserve for the inconvenience of having to move from a Beach Front 2 Bedroom to a Beach View 1 Bedroom (realistically still a Dune View) I encountered ANOTHER major inconvenience that has now brought my 2 Star rating to ZERO (i had to choose at least 1 star).Having accepted the fact that we had to move to a lesser room, I reviewed the invoice and found that they still were charging me for the 2 Bedroom Beach view even though we had to switch to a 1 Bedroom. I cant help but wonder if Padre Escapes would have let me pay the OVERCHARGED price ($500 more). Keep in mind Im the one who brought this to their attn.What type of systems are in place there where the system does not automate the prices based on the rooms. They working off of manual spreadsheets???? We will def be looking to stay elsewhere after this year. Poor PR and poor quality of systems.To anyone staying there Id check my invoice and compare to the website prices to make sure youre not getting screwed.

As a past client of Padre Escapes, I can honestly say that I have never dealt with a less professional organization. If you chose to do business with these folks you will be disappointed. Stay as far away from Padre Escapes as you can.

The Padre Escape team is extremely unorganized and unprofessional. My family was packed and ready to leave, and we had friends coming from out of town, but at the last minute they called and told us that they had double booked the house for the same weekend. We had booked the house weeks in advance, and the day before they even sent us the confirmation email. Our weekend was completely ruined. One star is giving them way too much credit, I would never reccomend this agency.

We stayed at the sugar shack during the week of the 4th of July. It was super clean and very cozy. There were 3 adults and 1 kiddo in our party. They had absolutely everything that you needed for the house. We were just a short drive to the beach and any food places we wanted. Right next door to Schlitterbon waterpark(sp?) I highly recommend this place. The pool was just a quick walk away so not to bad. The pool is PERFECT for those with little kids that dont know how to swim. Only thing from giving it a 5 was that the waterfall was broken. That was one of the biggest reasons we chose the place but other than that it was great. Didnt really need to deal with the people to much. Love the app they have an actually got a text that we xould check in at 1 instead of 4! Enjoy your time in Padre. You have to try Docs Seafood and go swimming in the national park and Maliquest (sp?) Beach.

ANTS everywhere. From reading previous reviews on google from the week before, they knew about the ant problem and still rented us the unit. Awful. Couldnt leave a cup of coffee on the counter for a minute without ants getting in it. Disgusting.
