Completely unprofessional. I’ve been waiting for months to have my dishwasher fixed. The first visit from the technician, wrong part was ordered. Waited a month for a new part and tech to come out. Upon arrival the technician dropped the front of my dishwasher and damaged the exterior. At this point he said he couldn’t install the wire harness due to the damaged he caused and walked off the job. I spoke with his manager Mark D. Who agreed that he should have installed the harness while we waited for the new part to fix the damage done by the tech. He scheduled a service two days later. Guess what tech was a no show and then I get a text that a tech is coming two weeks from that date. Another no show. I called Mark to discuss. He indicated he would try to get someone out today. Shortly after I get a call from a new vendor. Apparently he transferred the work order via our warranty company American Home Shield starting they could fix the washer even though the part has been sitting in my counter for a month! This company and employees lack professionalism and integrity. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I chose Sears because Id hoped a national brand would treat me professionally and not scam me. They didnt even show up. They gave me an appointment window between 1-5pm and called me at 6 and said they didnt have anyone to service the appointment. Terrible. I waited home all day because of them.

Do not use them for non-warranty repairs. The tech who showed up and gave us a $2,200 quote to repair our $2,500 refrigerator basically told me for non-warranty people we just want you to buy a new refrigerator so we give super high quotes so you wont want to repair it.

Sears Repair service is a joke. If I could give zero stars, I would have. My dryer makes a terrible screeching noise. The first service repairman I had out told me to make sure I was removing the lint. That was his repair advice. It was not the lint, which I clearly know how to remove, that was causing the noise at all. The second person said I should make sure that I dont load heavy towels in the dryer. He told me that heavy towels could weight the dryer differently. I told him the noise occurred whether it was towels, or socks. Still, no solution. Finally, the last repairman told me to check and make sure there wasnt loose change floating around the dryer. Um, I think I know the difference between the sound of coins in a dryer and a loud screeching/grinding noise. Sears Repair service is a waste of time. I highly recommend NEVER buying from Sears. Calling their customer service department to follow up results in absolutely no resolution of the issue. They just offer to re-send another incompetent employee out, resulting in more time wasted. I deeply regret ever buying the warranty from Sears. It has been a total headache and huge waste of time and money. Dont say I didnt warn you.

The repair tech never showed and never called to let me know that he would be arriving outside of the 1 to 5pm window. I canceled at 630 pm.
