I’m not sure why the reviews of this place are poor. I had a great experience there. I went in around 1:30 on a Friday without an appointment and they asked me to come back at 4. I went back and had to wait thirty minutes or so, but it was a busy day and they were clearly working fast to get everyone in. The space was comfortable and clean with a tv and music on, very chill. All the folks working were kind and helpful. I got a gel manicure and was happy with the service and the price. One of my nails is filed a little crooked but I’m not worried about it. Don’t let the other reviews scare you away! Good spot.

This was my first time going here. I called to ask for an appointment and was told they could get me in right away. Once arriving all the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a really clean and friendly atmosphere. I had the lavender pedicure and I have to say it was the best pedicure I have ever received. Linda took her time and I never felt rushed. I will definitely be going back again. I recommend this place 100%

Took us right in. But did not understand what I wanted done. Definitely a language barrier...a guy from upstairs came storming down and was not happy. Stopping through the shop mumbling..Not sure what happened! Quality is poor. Nails are OK looking but have had them done else where so much better... dont waste your time or money!

The massages are good but the nails on my toes and hands were shaped crooked & inconsistently (rounded on some edges, square on others). When I asked to get the shape fixed for my mani my nail tech said its fine. Did not do anything to clean under my nails for the Mani, and the top coat on my nails is streaky and doesnt fully cover the color. They also did not clean up any polish that got on my skin.

This was the 1st time I had the powder dip on my nails. It looks like chicklets on my nails. Way too thick and one hand my nails are filed way shorter than the other. It took an hour and a half and I feel like I wasted my money. Will not return for a manicure.

Had a hot stone pedicure. Never even touched my heels. Wouldn’t accept my gift certificate from December 2019 even though they were closed during the pandemic. I received 4 gift certificates that Christmas that they will not provide a service for. Rude and unacceptable customer service. Stay away!

Super unprofessional, very rude when I showed her my nails had huge dents/bumps in them. She told me it was my fingernail that was crooked... She then was trying to argue with me and said this must be my first time getting my nails done. Wrong! I’ve been getting my nails done for at least 10 years. It is my first time going there - and will 100% be my last. She then tried to talk to another client to tell that client I was wrong and was translating on her phone from Chinese/Korean to English. I felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed. She also cut my thumb finger/skin and made it bleed because she was rushing so much. (Didn’t even acknowledge or apologize.) After the woman was extremely rude, she offered to redo 2 of my nails. I still had to pay $40 for them. Extreme rip-off for extremely low quality service. Unfortunately, I will need to get them completely redone at another salon. So sad to have to write a negative review but I felt the need to share!! If you’re looking for relaxation, I would not go here!

Never again will I EVER go back here! I had a full set put on, just 5 days ago, and today I had to have a whole new set put on at a different location! What a shame... not only were the staff here RUDE, but the nail lengths were terribly uneven and SO THICK! And OMG when they applied whatever it was, a stinky liquid to both mine and my daughters nails, it BURNED LIKE IT HAS NEVER BURNED BEFORE!! The pain was so intense on both hands, that my daughter and I both had tears in our eyes. (We are no stranger to the process of getting acrylics done...so its not like we are over reacting to that issue either...) Not to mention she charged me 50$ for my set, and 50$ for my 12year olds nails too! Both of our nails were nothing like the simple pictures we showed the workers, nor were they professional in appearance or job quality! 100$ WASTED!

Super gentle and quick. Decent prices too! Great tunes on and cozy atmosphere. Most likely be back very accommodating for two and a child! Thanks guys!

This is my first experience at any nail place ever because I finally stopped biting my nails so maybe this is how most nails places are but I really really hope not. My nails I guess looked okay afterwards. I just got them trimmed, no color or anything because Im not a goth. My nails certainly looked better than when I went in but I seemed to have some kind of clear polish on my right thumb nail....wasnt a super big deal..But Im giving it a terrible review because staff was completely rude and treated me like a ghost. Guy looked like he would rather be doing anything in the world than doing my nails. Sorry buddy NOBODY likes their JOB! The girl gave my friend a short shoulder massage but I didnt get anything. Didnt offer me one of the tiny waters on the floor; I had to ask for one. No thank yous, no manners, like I was invisible, like it was beneath them to acknowledge my presence. Im guessing they know they will get business in Corning whether they are nice or not. They should take training classes on how to be nice to customers who are giving them money.

RUDE, MEAN, BELITTLINGI have been going here for years! Let me just say, I even tell all of my friends and family to go here. Today, as I was preparing for my wedding ceremony, a memorable occasion, my mother-in-law, mother, and daughter all went in for manicures and pedicures. After paying for my service, I happened to notice that my toenails and fingernails did not match. My toes were orangish and my fingernails were a hot pink. When I politely told the lady they were completely different colors, she shocked me---she yelled at me in Chinese, shouted across the room to other employees and told me I was wrong in front of the entire staff and customers. The older gentlemen also yelled at me and told me I was wrong. When I told them I wanted a different color, the lady told me I needed to pay 12 dollars or they werent gong to fix them. I paid for a service and they did not honor their work. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Giving them 1 star because this is the second time the lady manager had been rude and complained in Chinese about everything I had done. Not only that but she picked on another lady who walked in and asked about a massage with her pedicure. She sits at the front desk and complains the whole time! She’s rude and she wasn’t saying very nice things. As a customer, I am upset with the unpleasant experience I have had the last 2 visits, because of her. My nail tech was very nice, but she trumps the whole atmosphere. You can tell she isn’t saying nice things. I will not come here ever again. My poor daughter wanted her feet and hands painted and she made such a big deal that I said never mind. Not good bussiness ethics. I really like they’re prices but when I get this same experience, I would rather pay more to be treated with respect than deal with this. So unhappy!!

I just walked out of this place and felt compelled to write a review immediately. All the reviews are right. The staff is rude, I’m not sure any of the tools are clean, and the actual manicure itself was done very poorly. I have nail polish all over my fingers. I didn’t even want to go back in to have her fix it as I felt i needed to get out of there. It also was incredibly expensive. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this was my worst experience at a nail salon. Go to Nail Tech down on the other end of market street. Even if it’s a wait, it is worth it. Trust me.

The lady by the desk was EXTREMELY rude! She told me it was a 25 minute wait and I ended up having to wait an hour. I asked her if I could have an ombré design done and she refused (every other nail salon CAN do that). I asked her if I could have a glitter stripe on my nail and she refused. Then after no longer wanting my nails done there because I knew that they weren’t going to look good, I asked if I could switch my appointment to a polish change pedicure. She told me it would be an extra 30 minute wait. I had already been sitting there for an hour and didn’t want to wait there any longer. Overall the customer service was horrible and they lack necessary skills to keep up with their competitors. I’m never going there again! Don’t go there! There’s so many other salons to go to... I just wanted to give them a chance which I regret now.

Was told it was $10 extra to take off gel powder, he was so rough most of my cuticles were bleeding and my nail have ridges in them. I will not be going back!

Giving them one star is way too giving. Let me just say I have worked in retail and I am very understanding, but this was the worst experience I have EVER had. Not only did they harass and bully myself, but dozens of other women who walked in. DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS. Told me I had to get gel polish and pay extra, or they wouldn’t serve me. Did this to multiple women. Nail polish ended up peeling off after two days. When I didn’t leave tip at the end, she yelled at me and told me I had to leave tip on cash or card. A week later, I am still fuming at the thought of how they treated their customers. All around terrible

I like to get my nails done here and have never had an issue. This is a go to pedicure spot for us and we really like the massage chairs to get a real 2 for 1 deal. After many trips we have never left disappointed. The service is what you would expect from this type of nail salon and leaves something to be desired.

Requested coffin shaped & they’re not so much coffin shaped. When I walked in I was greeted rudely , I was told for a certain length of my nail it was $5 & for the shape it was $5. They don’t have a large variety of nail polish & it’s very cold in here. A lady came in for a manicure & a gift card & they were very rude to her about it. I will never come back here to get my nails done

BEYOND DISGUSTED! they fraudulently charged my card 24 dollars! My 12 year old daughter went in there with some friends after school with my credit card. My daughter didnt know how to tip so she never tipped them just paid the 40 for her nails...so they ran my card AGAIN and for 24 dollars! I called my credit card company and both transactions happened in the same location minutes a part! they ran my card for 24 dollars for a tip I never authorized! im turning them in, so livid! They are denying everything because no parents were around!

They only offer gel polish so for a full set with a simple blue tip on 4 fingers and one silver tip cost us $50. They told us 3 different prices before it was the final $50 and then asked us about a tip and got upset when my friend refused to give them one. Very poor people skills.

Went today for a gel polish manicure. Man told me several times to relax my hand throughout the manicure. As I was paying he said “next time you do gel polish you need to relax your hand” very sternly. He treated me like I was below him or a child.I get my nails done every couple of weeks and have never had a issue. I hope no one goes here that has a special need with their hands. Very rude and won’t be returning!

I just did walk in, they were very rude, asked for special tips on nails, charged me extra $10 for that, was not done with any care at all for what the client wanted, paid w/my card and she kept pointing to tip? What? I paid more than usual place a go, definitely not returning there, sorry!

The nail polish peels off after you just got them done. They give you something different than you wanted, and they charge you more. I do not recommend this place. 😕

Only been 1 day and gel polish is peeling off. I think it’s because they don’t have you wash your hand after all the filing or they put different polish in the bottle. I never had gel polish peel off so quickly The sides weren’t painted all the way. Nails weren’t filed straight across and left uneven. Only one employee knew English. I usually tip at least $5 but tipped $3 since I saw the sides weren’t painted completely and the girl said something in a different language to the other guy when I gave the tip. Worst place EVER!!!

The worst pedicure I’ve ever had. The water was cold and I asked several times if he would heat it and he said it was hot enough. The whole pedicure was rushed and he was completely disinterested in what he was doing. I asked if he would trim my nails and he barely filed them. I WILL NEVER BE BACK . A complete waste of time and money. 2 thumbs down !!!!

This is by far the worst place I have ever had my nails done. I asked for a full set of acrylics - they are the most crooked, bumpy, and uneven nails I have ever had on. It doesnt even look like they attempted to try and make them all the same shape. The polish is so sloppy, I could have done better myself. They do not keep their acrylic powder or solution in a safe place; it is in a gunked up metal container. They did not even clean the brush or change the solution. They just put new solution on top of some that had been sitting out before I got there. No wonder I know of two people who have gotten a fungus after having their nails done there. They filed into my cuticles and caused them to bleed. I was super rushed at 10:30 in the morning with only three other people there. They were extremely rude. The person who did my nails kept huffing under their breath and jerking my hand around. Not to mention, they messed up my nail by pulling my hands around and tried to blame it on me. They also are running a total scam - I had a gift card and they said they would not take it, even though it came directly from their store. The place they recommended I use it said to use it at this salon. I guess you get what you pay for, but they will up charge you without you even agreeing. Do NOT go here.

I had a pedicure and manicure done here before getting married. It was a nice experience. The only negative was that the lady doing my pedicure clearly found the callous on my feet to be something worth sharing with her coworker.

We got in quick for a mani and pedi with a group of 3. Place looked clean and there was not a noticeable chemical smell....both very important to me! Each of us got decent service and our nails look fine for the most part. There were a few language barrier issues such as cutting my fingernails below where the white is....but overall I got what I paid for.

The feet massage was great abs the pedicure but I told them 3 times me and my friend wanted gel nails and they started to a manicure I said no a full set gel abs the guy says we dont have time for that I asked u three times I said I told u three times gel nails. So I had to leave and go somewhere else and they dont talk to u and barely speak English. I wont go back after the way we were treated.

I should have listened to the past couple reviews and gone elsewhere. Went in for a gel full set last week before I went on vacation. They looked average after she had finished them, but she definitely didnt take pride in her work like my normal nail salon. By the next morning 2 of my nails were already lifting! As the week went on more started to lift and fall off! Very dissatisfied! I will not return.

I had a horrible experience there my husband dropped me off at 7:40 on a Saturday night their light was still on that said open and they would not except me to get a gel manicure they said their floors were already clean at 7:40 so I had to call my husband to come back and get me! I feel if your sign says you close at 8 then you should close at 8 and then clean not clean before that where I work we do not close until exact time they either need to change their time or start working until the time their website and door says that was very rude and they lost a customer!!!

Rude. Messed nails up. Then wouldnt give me my money back. He made me leave Said that he was the only one who could do acrylic or gel. Which was a lie. Very bad service.

I have gone here multiple times for a pedicure but I will not be going back. I went on Saturday 4/6 and ended up with a toe infection on Sunday. She cut the skin around my toenails multiple time and they obviously don’t clean their tools properly.

Extremely rude and one of the worst manicures I have had. It was also extremely unhygienic : the spots to put your hands were not wiped between customers and the tools were not cleaned as well. They are also pricey for the service.

They took me near close for a full set and did my nails quickly. One is a little crooked across the top but overall it was a good experience.

Got a supposed to be gel full set on Wednesday 4/10/19 and by Friday 4/12/19 the whole set were broken off!!! Overpriced and they didn’t treat us very well!!!

I went to this salon for a fill. Its been just one week and 5 of my nails are off. They were lifting nearly immediately and the gel polish didnt set properly as it began peeling off a few nails within days. I wouldnt recommend!!
