I’ll preface this by saying that we needed this exam as soon as possible to proceed with my son’s autism testing, a process that has been so stressful. Scheduling an appointment is really hard for me because I teach in Dallas, live in Saginaw, have an infant, my special needs toddler, and no family to rely on for help. I was late to my appointment due to a mistake on my end, but instead of dismissing me like any other practice usually does, the receptionist called and asked if they could please see me. I didn’t even need to tell them my circumstances, she just did it on her own. They took us in and did the tests and treated my son so kindly, the doctor was so great as well; my son was comfortable much quicker than usual. The biggest and best asset, in my opinion, is their customer service! Thank you so much for helping us yesterday, this has been an excruciating process made even more difficult by our circumstances, and your kindness made an even bigger difference than you’ll ever know. Thank you again!!

Warning: If you have QT insurance please read first and find a different refferal if you were planning to take advatage of the benefits QuikTrip offers on your deductible.Dr. Patel really is the best and deserves 5 stars!! Dr. Patel is amazing with the kids and explaining whats going on so that you understand. He is the best doctor if you need surgery, you just need money to spare and patience for the staff in schduling and billing.Claudia was not the best to deal with. She lacked the initiative to find out all the benefits that were offered. I was told by her Friday that they were not going to charge my card after speaking with my benefits depatment. This was multiple phone calls later and the lovely ladies at QuikTrip benefits reaching out to her directly. Then, not even a week later on Wednesday I was charged, just under $500. They didnt call to tell me that the plans changed on processing. Also, we are talking about a change in just 5 days, the weekend and 3 business days. So that was irritating.I have insurance through QuikTrip, they have this amazing offer to help their employees. If you get the proper refferals and stay in network, they will pay your portions of the deductible and then you set up a payment plan to pay QT back directly. The doctors office seemed to honor this when we were talking on Friday. After I was charged it was explained: you have to pay up front and get a refund after. I got this information from Tonya. This was the explaination after the fact, which I just dont appreciate. The hospital and anesthologist on the other hand do allow this program through QT but the doctors office doesnt.

Dr. Murray is absolutely amazing! He has taken care of our littles for 4 years now. His attention to detail, kind soul, and his love for his profession has made our experience wonderful. He is an outstanding ENT and we would never take our littles anywhere else. Their practice is fantastic.Bonus, Dr. Murray now does surgery at Cooks Childrens in Hurst and their staff and our experience meet our expectations.

Shortly after posting this review, I had a productive conversation with the office manager regarding my concerns. She was understanding of my concerns which I appreciated.Because of this interaction, I added an additional star.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Our son had ear tube surgery with Dr. Murray through ENT for Children. A couple of areas of disappointment for us while interacting with this group:- As many other reviews have mentioned, the communication by the offices support staff around what is being billed (and why) has been awful. If you try to question the reasoning behind a charge, they become defensive and push the blame to your insurance plan. Ive unfortunately been left with the impression that they are looking to bill you any way they can.- While Dr. Murray has been friendly during our interactions with him, the communication surrounding our sons case in particular has been lacking. Explanations provided across our multiple visits post-surgery have conflicted and weve been left with the impression there is not a clear understanding of what is going on and what steps need to be taken to reach a resolution. If we had the opportunity to go back and re-choose an ENT office for our son, we certainly would have looked elsewhere.

Id give 1 star had the doctor not been so friendly. We were with the doctor for around 5 minutes, only to be referred with an I dont know and without a very thorough exam. $152 out of pocket for absolutely nothing more than a sleep study referral. This could have been a confirmation over the phone, without a visit. What a colossal waste of time and money for us.

Great doctors, no issue with them. The billing office and support staff are poor. Read the other reviews, I wish I would have. They overcharged in advance for my child’s surgery, when we didn’t owe anything due to having met our out of pocket max (thus owing nothing). I waited 6 weeks until the post surgery follow up, when I brought it to their attention that I wanted my money back. (I’ve had other facilities refund this money automatically). Their billing lady kept telling me that I somehow needed to wait another ‘week or two’ before I could call them again to request my money. Then they would start the refund process and it would take 6-8 more weeks. Um, they have already had my money for 6 weeks, then I’m supposed to wait 2 more plus 6-8 weeks more? 14-16 weeks to get my money back that never should have been charged in the first place. Patients beware.

Went here when my daughter was 2w old because she had a tongue tie that was causing her to not latch properly for breastfeeding, making both her and I very frustrated. The doctor explained the procedure, possible side effects, what to expect after, and reassured us many times it isnt something we are forced to get but that it would be helpful for our baby. We went ahead with it and the procedure in total took about a minute, with minimal crying from our little one and more reassurance from him. He was such a smiling and charming man, very confident about his knowledge and that made me feel so much better about getting her tongue tie clipped!

Dr Bauer was great. Everything else was a disaster. My child had surgery to have tubes put in. At initial visit, I was seen over an hour past my appointment time while I sat in a hot room with a screaming one year old. I was told the surgery was $300-$400 dollars which I paid immediately and made the decision to move forward. I also paid for my visit that day. When we arrived at the surgery center, they asked for $2000+ with zero notice on the day of the surgery. I also paid that. While I realize that fee is the surgery center and ultimately outside of the doctors control, no one ever mentioned to me that this would be an additional incurred cost that should be planned for/considered. Asking for a payment this large without notice is inconsiderate.Weeks later, I received another erroneous bill for $100 from ENT for Children. When calling to voice my frustration, the billing representative wasnt the least bit apologetic/empathetic. She focused on shifting the blame to the fact that the surgery center billing is out of their control and the surgery was elective. She was right. It was elective but based incomplete information from this office. I realize that billing representatives have to have thick skin as they are constantly dealing with insurance companies and difficult patients but a little empathy/assurance would have gone a long way.I paid the final $100 and asked for another ENT referral from my Dr. for remaining visits.

Dr. Bauer performed my sons BAHA surgery years ago and did a stellar job. He is very personable and makes kids feel comfortable and knows how to talk to kids. He was always very thorough in explaining what needed to be done. As far as the people complaining about billing......that is pretty much a problem in the entire industry because of all the red tape and different policies. They do a good job overall.

Doctors are fine, no big complaints with them. The wait time for appointments and billing is another matter. Many people have already pointed out the issue with the billing department. They overcharge you and then when the insurance pays them, they take 4-6 weeks to pay you back. That is ridiculous. What would happen to any of us if we took 4-6 weeks to pay them $30 we might owe?? Theyd have reported you to collections but they owe you $200+ and you can wait over a month to get it. Someone else said thats just the way it is in the medical industry. NO, it is not! Never been overcharged by my Cardiologist, nor my Urologist, nor any family doctors, nor pretty much any other doctor with very few exceptions and when it did happen it didnt take 4-6 weeks after receipt of payment from the insurance to get my money back. Why? Because apparently those other offices have a billing department that knows what theyre doing. They already know what your insurance coverage is, if you have met your deductible, how much your insurance will pay, and what you will owe and thats what they ask you to pay. Here, they actually asked me to pay more upfront after my deductible was met then they had me pay for the first few visits. But for their incompetence, you can wait 6 weeks to get your money back.6/25/19 Update - after requesting a refund 3 weeks ago that they owe me, they sent me a bill for a visit that I already had paid 5 times the amount I should have. I called to ask why when they owe me money and was asked would you like us to process your refund?. I explained I had already called them to process it three weeks ago. So now it will be another 4-6 weeks from today to get the money that they owe me.

(EDIT: My insurance DID in fact come back with an amount less than what they said I owed even though they INSISTED the amount they had was right! Obviously their insurance manager does not know insurance like it is supposed to be. I do not trust them anymore to handle my money and claims. )Dr Bauer was great. Good bed side manners, seemed knowledgeable, and had respect. BUT the office staff was absolutely awful!! I am a office manager and have handle insurance for years. When I told the front desk lady I wasnt going to pay till the EOB from my insurance came through with how much I actually owe (and yes people out there..you can do this, your insurance will always adjust the amount of what is billed and you pay what the amount is AFTER adjustment) Anyways she got an attitude with me and rolled her eyes and turned away. I decided to leave and call the office manager to deal with the situation. Well I got a call back from the billing specialist and she was insanely rude. She accused me of not being able to afford to pay, she wouldnt hear me out about one of her Co workers, and she insulted the fact that I knew insurance. Dr Bauer said it was possible to have to do surgery on my daughter but nope. You can thank your staff for loosing you those thousands.

Couldn’t agree more with the previous statements. The Doctors are great,The support staff.... yes that is you Nurses, Billing, Front Desk... not so much. This review is not based on a single event but over years. I’m also never one to take the time and write about experiences but this might be the worst for a Doctors office in my life.Majority of the staff is rude, billing is chaos (Yes you do have to pay for everything up front, even if services are covered by insurance) and trying to reach anyone by phone during open hours is impossible. Called 4x in the last hour alone...no answer...billing has a recording...gives extensions...don’t work.We will be moving my son to another ENT ASAP.

My son was diagnosed with hearing loss and ear blockage. ENT for Children got us in quickly and recommended my son for tubes. The wait time was extremely short (relative to any of physicians office that we have been to), and Dr. Bauer was a delight. The rest of the office staff was great as well. We were in and out of the office in 30 minutes (and its been that way EVERY time we go)! My sons surgery was scheduled within two weeks of his visit, and we could have done it sooner than that, but thats what worked with our schedule. Thank you to the staff of ENT for Children for making such a scary thing so pain free.

Doctor Bauer is very smart and has a great bedside manner. However, some of his staff members are abrupt and mean. Dr. Murray has a receptionist called Patricia, that would make you mad every time you talk to her. The audiologist is not very friendly, either. I believe that these doctors should fire a couple of staff members that really make the customer experience horrible.Doctor Murray said that my child required surgery but he healed on his own. My opinions are mixed about Murray, however, many doctors in town keep recommending Bauer to us.

Dissatisfied and Disappointing with thisCoppell Ent. By far the worst experience I ever had at the Dr. Office. WARNING THIS PLACE WILL ROB YOU. I received a bill a months after my second visit for $177.00. I have always pay my bill in full every visit and the last visit was around $2##.00, so what is this? I tried calling the office and was sent to a voice mail. I was told that someone will call me with 24 hour. Three day passed and no phone calls. Call the second time and was told that AFTER THEY DID THEIR MATH I UNDERPAID THEM BY $5.00 AND not $177.00. So why havent no one call me after the visit to explain the difference and why did I get A bill in Red for Pay NOW for $177.00 with a balance of $5.00 one months after my visit ? Its only $ 5.00 I think I could afford $5.00.I wasnt aware of the second until that phone call for $5.00 bill was sent out 12/28 three days before the new year. I shouldve knew this place wasnt right during my first appointment. I had to call multiple times just to setup a appointment for my daughter. Every time I called its was something different. Finally got an appointment after the forth time. I have never had to go through so much just to set up a appt to see the Dr. I was so stressed that I almost cried over the phone. I will not going back to this place. I will take my business somewhere else where my family matters and not my $$$. ANOTHER THING MY DAUGHTER IS IN NEED OF A NEW HEARING AID SOMEONE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL MY HUSBAND BACK. ITS BEEN THREE WEEKS AND STILL NO CALL. Going to the doctor shouldnt have to be this stressful. Sadly we are losing good Doctors who really cares for their clients and not their $$$$.

My son recently attended this office for a procedure and Dr scheduled a post-op check. My husband had been told itis not going to be billed in addition to the main procedure. So when we got the bill for that post-op visit we tried to call the office and resolve this mistake. The staff have not only refused to adjust the charges but its been impossible to get someone to try to resolve it. After couple months of efforts to resolve the situation I told my husband that Ill pay the bill, but we wont be back to that office again. Since I see that other people had the same experience with this offices billing department I suspect that they hire this type of people for the position on purpose and dont care about retaining the patients. Oh well....

I have several children all of whom have had multiple ENT surgeries from doctors at both the Coppell location and the Frisco location over the last 7+ years. My experience over time with the doctors is the only thing that keeps me coming back. The billing department (all central to the Coppell office) is and has been AWFUL!They do NOT refund your money. When the insurance pays them, they apply it to your account promptly - I know this because I get incessant bills between all the kiddos if I have even a $5 balance BUT I can go WEEKS and MONTHS without a word when I have a balance due to ME. I have to call and call and call. Many times there in no response and no call back (even if Im calling to pay my bill).Several years ago I was due a refund which happened to be the exact amount that I needed to pay the hospital due to timing of when the claims went in. It took about two months and some serious words to get my money back - finally refunded on my card. At that time policy was a check signed by DR every 2 weeks and then sent out, which of course passed me over many times. Here we are again. Surgery was in December. They did not refund me. When we got close to the 6 week follow up, I decided to let it go since we would have a balance. I waited a month. In early March, I spoke with Jen. She said that once they got the money from the insurance (it was due to be sent that day per EOB), it took about 10 days to apply and issue refund. I questioned how I could trust that it would automatically be taken care of since it was clearly not being done - she said shed make a note. Fast forward one month later - its now early April. They got the money from the insurance a month ago and just sit on it. Per Jen, I have to wait 4-6 weeks for my refund via mail now that she has verified it. Did you not verify it when it came in a month ago??? Why do I have to wait an additional 4-6 weeks (remember surgery was now 3.5 months ago and these are HUNDREDS of dollars, folks) because doctors only cut checks once a month and then mail. Again, she offers to make a note and I can personally pick up my check but seeing as how the last note went, I think Im going to have to get ugly before I get my money back - the $ that the hospital, again, wants by the way.So while the doctors drive around in their nice cars to their nice houses, us regular folk have to get bad credit and/or strain our finances just so that our children can get the care they need. This doctor network REALLY needs to do something about their billing policy and office. Hundreds of dollars may be nothing to doctors, but it can be everything to a family. Refunds should be automatically sent WEEKLY.

Having seen my daughter for 4 years I have recently been very disappointed with Dr Bauers office. I recently attended for a apt with my daughter and checked the costs to myself prior to the visit with the office staff, after being told what the charge would be I was billed higher. The staff have not only refused to adjust the charges but its been impossible to get someone to try to resolve it. After numerous months (March through July) and phone calls, all of which were unanswered, and 5 phone message left this week alone, trying to resolve the issue they informed me they will not adjust the charges and I am expected to pay them regardless of their error. Dr Bauer has always been helpful and knowledgeable, however his office staff I have found to be mainly incompetent, and in the billing office, rude. I will now be looking for alternate care for my daughters ENT needs. Very sad after all this time.

As well with the rest of the previous reviews the front desk and billing department makes this a 1 star review. Loved the Dr. (Murray) but even after first visit felt hesitant with the going thru due to lady back in billing or whoever schedules appts wasnt very professional. Wanted to do the best for my child and didnt want to put off any longer we schedule appt. They called a week before for payment. Now I see we overpaid when reviewing my EOB, I called tues 2 times to just be transferred to voicemail of a kenetra...24hrs passed no callback...called again throughout the day to be xfered 4 times to voicemail again vs actually seeing if someone is willing to handle the situation ( my wife spoke to the billing manager and was confrontational over the phone) I tried hrs later, after the last xfer i immediately called back to say nobody is there....i get placed on a 15min hold no follow up, a Meisha comes on the line to say she will assist, funny I gave no info but she knew of my issue so even though my EOB has my responsibility to pay I cant initiate a refund until they obtain the check from insurance as well then itll be 4 weeks before a check can be sent. If thats the process then Im fine and you truly cant begin a refund knowing Ive paid the claim in full and have proof of the insurance double paying Im fine with that. However the way you go about your business and assist patients needs a lot of improvement. Again the Dr. Was great....but the trouble begins and ends with the office staff
