I was instantly impressed with Monte Armstrong’s ability to understand how to work with an individual with my low technical abilities and found him to be an excellent and patient teacher. The other technical services I have obtained did not seem interested in teaching as they resolved the computer issues and were not nearly as efficient. Monte is professional, caring, and a whiz with computers. We trust him to care for, upgrade, and fix anything that goes wrong with our two machines. After my old one fried itself, he searched the internet after questioning me to find out what, exactly, I wanted to use my machine for, and suggested the best fit. We ordered it and he set it up for me - transferring all my data and pictures and such into the new computer, which I love! He observes all the Covid safety measures too. I would highly recommend him without reservation.

I was extremely fortunate to find Armstrong Technologies when my Windows 7 system hard drive completely crashed. I have extensive backup of all my data, but the question turned out to be was the hard drive toast? Monte retrieved lots of data off the drive and we determined together that I needed a new HDD. He worked with me step by step to identify workable solutions; his descriptions were clear, concise and gave me options to choose from. I had been going crazy with my computer....it was doing the craziest things...I couldnt just search for something, it kept bring up more and more things to look at, never going to what I was needing it to go to. Recently I had the unfortunate experience of a bleak, black, screen on my laptop. I use it daily and needed resolution quickly. I dont know about you, but taking my computer, car, pet (or frankly, myself) in to an unknown entity for repair can be frought with trepidation and dread. Do they know what theyre doing? Will they price gouge and devastate your budget? I am so glad I found Monte, he is professional, courteous,and knowledgeable. Although my laptop was beyond repair he has offered many useful suggestions (N/C) and he also offers a service ($100) to help you find a new computer (to your specs and budget), then sets it up for your easy use when it arrives. I personally did not need this assistance, but know how helpful it could be to many people (like my elderly parents) to not have to wade through the bewildering array of computer choices and what can be an intimidating process of getting it running efficiently. While Ill never exactly rejoice in tribulation, for future computer needs I can now feel confident that I have a trusted resource to help resolve any issues. Highly recommend.
