Went to fix my brakes, because it was making some sounds they told me it’s was only my back brakes they supposedly fix it charged me 460, they just made the noise worse.Unprofessional…

I called late morning, to get my brakes done. Told them I worked at 4. They were able to get me in and finished by 2:45! Very quick, professional and friendly service. Highly recommend!!

Was quoted $1293.80 and was told my control arms were bent and I needed new brakes I just literally ordered everything and installed it myself with my moms boyfriend in our shop and it cost $188 plus $60 bucks to press fit the Bearings and I have pictures of my new parts and my old parts and once I get finished getting it back together I want my alignment done. I feel as though I was charged 3 times the amount and half of what your people said was wrong was just fine, So after I get my alignment that I’ve paid you for 3 years done I don’t think I’ll be coming back plus I waited 3 hours for your people to tell me that they weren’t going to alignment my car until I paid them $1293.80

The customer service use to be amazing at this location. It has gone down hill very fast. Now the manager will email in all caps just in the subject line and be like we are closed when the site states they are opened. When you try another date they just say nope. We also tried a few months ago and were told they could service our car after we told them specifically how low it was. They saw it in person and then did not call us until 10 minutes later stating that it was too low. We specifically told them how many inches it was off of the ground. Will not be returning to this location, which is a bummer since I use to live going here.

Midas is always fast, friendly and efficient. No pressure sales! They tell you what is wrong, what is needed to be done now and what can wait. I will always choose Midas as my car service center.

They are so helpful every time I have a problem! They truly care and take the time to show me what is wrong even though it wasn’t something they were getting paid for. They wanted me to be safe and know what was going on for my vehicle. So they did this at no price and took photos and explained what was wrong. They are so kind and I am so grateful for this place!

Editing my previous review because of how truly awesome Joe, Adam, and Keith were about my issue and taking care of me and solving the problem I had. My previous review wouldve been negative stars, if I could, but the assistance and communication I received from the local people at Midas has redeemed them to a solid 3 stars for me.In summation, I took my car in and got two new front tires. The tires were the wrong size, and my car is a Subaru Outback with always-on AWD, so if any tires were getting replaced, ALL tires shouldve been replaced. The tech put on the wrong size of tires and I had to go to the dealership to get an entire new set put on. AFTER I already paid Midas for their mistake.HOWEVER, I went through the proper channels calmly, but firmly, and Joe and Adam, the owners of this franchise location, went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed and my money was refunded. They made the process of being reimbursed easy and painless, and I am honestly beyond grateful for that. I spoke to both owners directly several times and they walked me through exactly what was needed from me and were very open about where both parties were in the process of rectification.The manager Keith is also a great guy. He offered a lot to allow my wife and I to pick up our car when the times werent necessarily good for him, and even called to check in on me personally when I said I would be there at a certain time and wasnt.

If I could give zero stars I would, what a JOKE! Scheduled an appointment to have my transmission checked, fluids and all. I believe I have been experiencing some slippage with it. I even had a family member who works at a dealership ride with me to confirm. Walked in at my appointment time and the guy behind the counter says its not recommended to do a fluid change, even though Nissan recommends it at a certain milage. I was hoping that would help with the issue. We go back and forth for a bit and finally I ask well since I am here can you check my transmission to make sure there is no leaks or anything else, the guy behind the counter says,Well what am I looking for? Um, hello! You are the expert, I am asking for your expertise! I literally just told you what I think I am experiencing, plus had someone confirm. If it was nothing, great! Charge me for an inspection. But if it is something I think the expert should find it and fix it. I grabbed my stuff and walked out, total waste of time. They will never get my service again. Just AWFUL.

I use this business for the majority of my car maintenance. Every time I work with them I am very pleased. They provide realistic time-frames and estimates and I appreciate the call I get if they find anything of a concern. They are a great business to work with.

Great experience. I go here once a year for inspection. They always do a quick job and usually get it done early. Inspection price is getting spendy for the 10 minutes of looking at my car.

My car started making alarming noises and I was a hour drive away from home. They worked me in near the end of the day. The nicest people. Cant recommend enough.

Got my breaks done by them a few weeks ago. They were super friendly and honest. I did not feel as if they were trying to rip me off at all. The only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is because I had issues with my breaks after they did them. Not 100% sure what caused the problem but they didnt even hesitate to take care of me. They fixed the issue and had me back on the road quick.

Taylor is a fantastic manager. He knows what he’s talking about, very friendly and personable, and he gives the best and fair prices on services possible. The staff is knowledgeable and I never leave with a problem. I had my fair share of issues with a previous manager, but I have to say this Midas has changed for the better.

Would give it more than 5 stars if I could. I went here three times in the last month for repairs and each time they have been straightforward, polite, accurate and successful. Definitely earned themselves a loyal customer!

Great service! It was late in the day and close to closing time when I came in with a flat tire for my daughters friend we had just picked up from the side of the road. Been going to these guys for a couple years now since moving into the area. Anywhere from head lights to wipers to tires. Took my Santa Fe in today to have the AC system looked at and it was checked on time and professionally as always. Gave me a run down of what needed to be done and set up a schedule to help me get it scheduled later this month after checking for parts availability. Taylor and the guys are always courteous, respectful and honest...which is why I continue to go to them when needed any of my vehicles serviced. So, Im going to leave the original review up. It is valid. I have used this Midas for a number of years. And to be honest I have no desire to go anywhere else. I would just like auto shops to focus on the vehicles that people are waiting for. There is a reason that we are waiting.But as far a service normally it is good and I have no complaints.Original Review BelowI came in to get an oil change and brake inspection. Ended up having to get four rotors and full set of pads. Everything was going great until one of the senior people wheeled in an older car. His personal car. Everyone in the shop stopped to look and fiddle with the car. My truck was ninety percent done and I had to wait another thirty minutes for the tech to get back on task and finish my truck. Once they have the vehicle on the lift they have you at their mercy. Not a good way to operate a business.

This location is so clean compared to some other ones. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I was able to get my car in for an oil change the same day and within an hour of calling. I was extremely pleased. The tech went above and beyond to look over my car. I will be back again.

My tire had a sudden leak (wooden screw) and no appointment necessary for them to get us in quickly and get it repaired and on our way, as well as balanced the tire and filled them up. Quick and efficient and have always been willing to help myself and my family members out. Highly highly recommend!

I have felt pressured into buying work that I havent needed, but the guys are always on the look out to inform me of things that needed addressing. I brought my Mustang to Coon Rapids with an exhaust leak and found out I was also having issues with my plugs and wires. The staff was relentless to make sure I was 100% satisfied and my car was running properly. These are most thorough and caring staff that will be straight with you! Extremely satisfied!

My car had been seen by 2 different mechanics before Midas, and none of them were able to fix it! I was recommended here by a friend and they had it diagnosed within 2 hours and fixed within 3! Car has been running great ever since. Amazing customer service and communication, super trustworthy. I live all the way down in Prior Lake and will still continue to see Midas for ANY of my car needs. My only regret is that I didn’t know about them sooner! Dan was the mechanic I worked with, highly recommend.

Best shop Ive ever been to, my car broke down right around the corner. I was able to push it into the shop. Within 30 mins they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it even though they were very busy and Cory was very knowledgeable and very helpful and was able to do it at a reasonable price. Quick and great service. This was the only Midas i could do a walk in and wait service at all for a couple of days. Although it was a 20 minute drive, i am glad i went. Cory at the counter was great and explained the options i have and helped me make my decision on what to do.

I just got a flat and they were able to help me in a time crunch by replacing the tire. They even offered to give me a loaner vehicle so i could get to work. Awesome job guys

I have a 2015 Chevy Malibu that is still qualified for free oil changes from the dealership. I came in to this Midas to inquire about the cost of future maintenance and was so impressed with the welcome I got that I have had two oil changes here now. Yes I would rather pay these guys than get free service at the dealer. Was just there today and enjoyed a cup of complimentary caribou coffee in their waiting area and even had a nice conversation with Taylor and another guest that was waiting for her car. The waiting area is so clean and has comfortable seating. For those who find it hard to trust repair shops, the waiting area has huge windows that allow you to clearly see the bays so you can watch them work on your car if you want. Absolutely love this shop and actually cant wait to go back. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

Ive been bringing my vehicles here for over 3 years. Highly recommended. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Have always felt like Ive been treated fairly and without pressure for service or products I dont really need.

I have come to this shop 4 times now to get my car serviced (estimate, wheel bearing replacement, heating core replacement, transmission line replacement/flush). They always do a great job. They can get you in quickly, and contact you promptly after you schedule an appointment time online. They are honest, knowledgable, and offer free quotes - regardless of whether or not you service your vehicle there. Their prices are awesome. I had my heating core replaced and decided to get a quote from a dealership -they gave me an estimate that was priced $400 more than Midas. They always call and discuss the costs before they do the work, and theyll answer my questions like - what if I dont get this fixed today? When does it need to be done by, or will there be consequences if I do not get it done today? Theyre true to their work quote times as well, if they say it will be 2-3 hours, it will be 2-3 hours. Overall my experience has been great. I would highly recommend these guys!

I live 40 minutes away from this shop and will not take my car anywhere else!These guys ALWAYS get me in when I need it (Im a very last minute type of person). Last time I got an oil change, I asked them if they could tell me the size of the bolt that I needed to secure part of my bumper back on that way I could get the part and fix it myself. They went ahead and fixed it for me with no extra charge! Every question that I have asked about maintenance to my vehicle, they have given me honest answers. To say their customer service is excellent is an understatement. They know their stuff and do always do whats right for their customers.They are friendly and always willing to help.Honestly, its such a relief to know that I have a place to take my vehicle that I fully trust.

I have been using the Coon Rapids Midas for my vehicles and my kids vehicles for years for routine maintenance and general repairs as well. The guys there are knowledgeable, friendly, and never try to sell something or a service if it isnt needed. If something isnt right, they stand behind their work to make it right. I will continue to bring my vehicles there.

Accually I did visit your location. But once the vehicle was looked at you wanted to charge me 550 bucks for rear axle back on the exagust. You guys were friendly but way to expensive as the same work was done with a lil extra for 350 at Tims custom exhaust. Dont ask me to remove my rateing. Its here for a reason. Like I said good customer service but way over priced.

Midas is the one place I will take any vehicle to. Cory Lincoln is such a big help to me. He takes the time to explain and only has the guys work on the items that really need working on. He helps me know what needs immediate attention and how much that will cost, which gives me time to work repairs and upkeep into my budget. Even when I dont get things done in a timely manner he never makes me feel inferior. I recommend Midas to Everyone and in my opinion Cory is the Best.

Super great experience! I came here after searching through the reviews of local oil change facilities. Finding the right people for your car is like finding a daycare. You dont know what theyre always doing, but you hope they treat your baby as their own. The manager was great and extremely helpful. He didnt attempt to talk me into anything I didnt want. He went through everything they did on my car, unlike the last place I went to. I didnt feel like a number. I felt like a friend was helping me. I will only bring my car to you guys from now on. When my wife and I moved to the area we brought our cars to separate shops. I brought mine to this store. The wife to another competitor. She was told she had to do a bunch of work. So I brought hers to Midas. They found none of what needed to be fixed wrong. Taylor and Brad are always honest about what can wait. And always polite with all the questions we ask. I had major repairs to do to my vehicle, and after getting estimates from 6 different places, I chose Midas of Coon Rapids. Not only was their pricing the best, but the service is quick, super friendly, and 100% pressure free! I was there over the lunch break, and they bought me lunch while I was waiting! I cant say enough positive things about my experience here. Im recommending this place to all of my friends and neighbors.

I have always had wonderful experience at this Midas, this last time I needed a replacement air filter. They needed for one to be delivered and I ended up waiting a bit extra for it, they never came with the filter so Midas sent me home and let me know that they would call me when they had it. Wasnt a big deal to me at all. They called me to let me know it was in and when I got there it took maybe a couple of minutes and they gave it to me for free for the trouble. Just proves the great customer service they have!

Always had wonderful Service at this shop, even when i have had the odd situation where i needed service as soon as possible things were always handled quickly, been going here for years as I never seem to have any troubles with service or the vehicle after. Brad has been very enjoyable to chat with and Taylor has been very easy to work with also when it came to getting my vehicle serviced. I recommend this shop to my friends in the area. :)

They did not touch what I took the vehicle in for had it for hours to fix exhaust picked the car up after they said the oil change was done had to wait for a half hour after I paid and they said I could bring it back to have exhaust fixed did not check the main thing I took it to them to fix will never go back

TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! We dont take our trucks anywhere else anymore; even though we moved out of the area and have to drive over an hour to get to this shop. These guys are worth it! We have been getting our auto work done here for over 2 years now. They are honest and will be straight up about whats wrong or what you need and what can wait until later. They have gone above and beyond what they needed to with our trucks to make sure they were good to go, and good to go on time! Tyler and his crew are car guys so they know what they are talking about and they know how to fix it. Amazing customer service and top quality work! We 1000% recommend this shop!
