They were all very nice, first class pick up, to great fast service. The manager Alainee, Randi the assistant manager along with Kelly really helped me out. They really took care of me through the USAA program. Truly professional group that reflects on Enterprise this is why there are number one.

It shouldnt be this difficult. I can rent a car in Nashville at enterprise anyday. In and out and I have a rental! Cookeville wanted all this extra stuff, which I provided!! Then they rented me the car. The next week I wanted another rental and all the sudden one of the papers they used the week before wasnt gonna work!!!! And they had no problems out of me! Thats just freaking crazy! Hertz will get my service from now on! Thanks

Got into an accident at other drivers fault in a rental car on I40. After being on the phone with roadside service lady only got offered to pay for towtruck and uber myself to get me home. Luckily, I was 15 min away from this location in a technically drivable car (with no passenger side mirror) and the manager was kind enough to wait for me after hours to safely get there and swap vehicles. Got another car and didnt have to spend hundreds for no reason since I purchased Enterprise insurance.

-1 star customer service was horrible, was told could swap a vehicle after waiting on roadside assistance for over a hour only to have to change the tire by myself. Currently onto Crossville hoping for better luck. Highly disappointed in service after paying for every upgrade available.

Made a reservation on Friday for pickup at a local body shop. Apparently its optional to log customer reservations in the computer on fridays and they had nothing in the computer for me and no extra cars available. Ill let you know if I ever get out of here.

I have rented a vehicle through this Enterprise on several occasions, and this last experience has been very disappointing. They refused to apply a discount code. I tried to get an explanation from the employee as to why they would not take the discount, and if we could apply a separate discount code through insurance. I was told that “I was not understanding” what the employee was saying which I found to be very disrespectful. After waiting for close to an hour, they finally applied a separate discount code through our insurance, and the employee gave us a separate discount for our trouble. Also, we were charged for extra drivers since they said our discount did not cover it even though it is covered. Upon drop off, I was charged an extra day since it was not dropped off by noon which was never stated at pick up. This experience was very troubling and disappointing to say the least, and I plan to do business elsewhere.

We recently rented a van for family vacation. We usually rent a mini van annually for our vacation but this year we needed more room. I called and talked to the sweet ladies in Cookeville and they arranged us a 15 passenger van. The day of pick up, I arrived an hour early and it was already waiting on me. The pick up with super easy and took only 5 minutes at the most. Drop off was also a breeze. The staff was all super helpful. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will continue to use them for our rental needs!

Great! my car was to little for me because I have 3 grandkids that I have all the time .the car was a Toyota Corolla. But it was fine to drive. I found my van the last day I had it.that was the main thing I needed it for thanks Reba Smith.

There was some good, such as the Well pick you up feature, but the bad experiences with this company way outweighed the good! They claim that their philosophy/commitment has been To treat customers the way that they should be treated for over 40 years! Im sorry but I have to wonder how theyve even stayed in business for that long!

The service was quite good. They were quite busy, but managed to get to me very quickly. The vehicle was fine, but it was dirty, inside and out. There was road film on the exterior and the front and rear windows were filthy. When I brought it to the attention of the clerk, there was no response except a shrug of the shoulders.

We rented a van a week before our trip and was told, the morning our whole family was to leave, that they over booked. They told us they booked 4 van rentals and only had two but they wouldnt be ready till lunch and we could only get the van we rented a week in advance if 3 of the other people canceled. My family had to miss our vacation and lost our deposit for our vacation.

We arrived prior to our appointment. They were so great. We had to wait maybe 20 minutes for them to clean the vehicle (no big deal since we were early). They were so efficient & got people in & out quicker then any other place weve dealt with. The 2 women that were working are just amazing! We will definitely be using their service again no one else. Thank you for making our day less hectic.

Made reservation 2 wks in advance but car in class I chose was not available at time of rental pick up.Enterprise compensated by offering an upgrade for the same price which was greatly appreciated. On the negative side,Enterprise did not have anywhere for me to park my personal car on their property so I ended up parking it in the back of the fast food parking lot next door.I was not comfortable doing this but had no choice. Also the Enterprise property was so very small that vehicles were almost running into to each other all over the lot.Staff was nice and helpful

Today I called Enterprise in Cookeville. I needed a vehicle until my truck was fixed which was one day. I had to drop off my truck in Livingston for the repairs. The woman promptly said we dont pick up in Livingston. WHAT? Needless to say you lost my business. Why would advertise on TV that you pick up? Livingston is 20 min from Cookeville!!!!! And if the rental is paid for with unlimited mileage included whats the problem? I would love to know the answer.

We rented a minivan at the Cookeville Location. The Van had not been cleaned at all, the carpet, seats, andWindows were terrible. This in the height of the Corona Virus Pandemic....? We were leavingfor vacation as soon as we picked up the Van. We have rented there many times overthe last 20 years. Worst Customer service I have ever had there.... We were goingover 500 miles from home and were given one key... When I asked about it I wastold we just cant make another key . If you get locked out you can buy ourservice plan to let you in.... You advertise picking you up and dropping you off and I understand covic19 has changed policy but yet you still advertise it.In Taylor Michigan at the airport where enterprise is I could not get a ride where I needed to go. I am nearly 63 years old and had 50 to 60 pounds of luggage and your employees knew I had to leave walking for about a 3 mile walk and no one gave a dam.

This was my very first time renting a car and the service was excellent! Both my check in and final check were timely and efficiently handled, and both ladies were SO sweet and welcoming. The vehicle was perfect for what we needed and well explained for us, and at no point did we feel we could have gotten better service elsewhere. Excellent prices too. Reserved car three weeks in advance online. Website was easy. Once the day came to pick up my rental I called location and a representative picked me up. The whole process from A to Z was right on. Definitely will use again if I need to rent a vehicle.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced from Enterprise. I reserved a truck but when I get there they said all they had was an suv. I didnt have a choice because my vehicle is in the shop being repaired. So I took the suv, but it wasnt even clean on the outside. The worker said their pressure washer was broken. Almost everyday they have called us to tell us how our insurance company hasnt done this or that. It wasnt our insurance, it was them not updating the information that my insurance was giving them. Then the rental was stolen, I reported it to the police, my insurance and Enterprise. The worker at Enterprise was rude. She demanded we pay the $500 deductible right then over the phone. I gave them all the information, the case number, the Sheriffs department that took the report. The next night the Sheriffs department located the vehicle and we went to recover it. I informed my insurance that we recovered the vehicle, but couldnt tell Enterprise because they were closed. We get home at 4am, so of course we tried to get some sleep. We were woken up at by a tow truck that Enterprise had sent because the workers at the Cookeville branch accused us of lying about the vehicle being stolen, becuse it didnt show in their system as being stolen. What kind of customer service is that. They had all the information about the vehicle being stolen, but because it wasnt in their system we were lying about it being stolen, thats just wrong on so many levels. Now we are stuck at our house with no transportation. Ive used this location in the past and have never had a problem until now. Im not sure if they have a new manager or what but it is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional how they treated us. I will never use this branch ever again! They give Enterprise a bad reputation and do not live up to the Enterprise standards.

With COVID-19 lurking everywhere it was wonderful to know that the cars are not only cleaned to perfection but also treated with a germicidal was reassuring. Checking in and out was quick and easy with great service. And the drop off location could not have been better! Next door to the body shop where my car was located.

The lady I talked to twice on the phone was very rude not helpful and very short. When I called to have them pick me up from the collision place I didnt have high hopes but the lady that picked us up was wonderful she went above and beyond made extra sure I had a vehicle that could fit my large family. When I called to inquire about having them drop me off at the collision center when I dropped off the car I spoke with the same very rude unhelpful person and at drop off it was the same situation I hope to never use them again. The vehicle I had for the week was nice but the windshield was cracked and still had the previous drivers trash in it.

It would be difficult to say enough good things about Enterprise and your representative, Alainee Walker. Through my own error I made reservations for a vehicle that was inadequate for my needs, something I did not realize until I went to pick it up the afternoon before we were to leave on vacation. Because it was the beginning of fall break the lobby was overrun with socially distancing customers and there were no other vehicles available that would suit my needs.When I explained this to Ms. Walker she showed me a vehicle being held for another customer and asked if it would work. When I told her I thought so she contacted the other customer, who was gracious enough to swap vehicles with me.So my trip was back on as planned, my family was together in one vehicle and I did not have drive a second personal vehicle on an 1100 mile round trip journey to Florida.Alainee Walker and Enterprise are the best!J. Very disappointed, rented cargo van here many times and now no more, they say have to drive to Nashville to get a cargo van this is a joke not driving to Nashville! Well thank goodness Hertz is around the corner they have plenty! Been a enterprise customer for years but now no more! Hertz is cheaper too!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Made reservations for an SUV and was contacted they would not have a vehicle at my time slot and it would be the next day. Then I was offered a mini-van and it would be ready and 2:30. Then I was called and told it would be late and to come at 4 pm. Because I had to arrange transportation to get there at 2:30. Changing that to 4 wasn’t an option, I asked for a delivery or pickup which they said could not do as it one only leave one person at the office. I get there at 4:30 and they had sent the van for an oil change and it would be 20 mins. So I ran an errand and came back in 20 mins and they were locking the door before 5. I went to Hertz who gave me 3 SUVs or a van to choose from for less. HERTZ IS A BETTER COOKEVILLE OPTION.

Vehicle was ready as promised. Check-out was prompt and required no waiting. Vehicle was clean.Return process was quick and efficient.

Very rude and hateful girls that work here. Tatum called me this morning and told me I had 30 mins to drop the keys off or they were gonna charge my credit card. I had already talk to her yesterday and told her I was dropping the car off after work then bringing the keys back at lunch today she said that was fine. Then she called me at 8am this morning very rude and hateful telling me I had 30 mins to bring the keys. I recommend hurtz I’ve always had great experiences the people that work there are great and very nice.

Initial service including reservation was great. I received a free “upgrade” for my rental which put me in a Nissan Altima. This was a nice car (new) which got fantastic gas mileage on my drive but didn’t have cruise control (which made the 1500 mile drive kind of miserable). I will definitely check my next rental out more thoroughly next time.

Brought car back at 12:04 and told them I was running a little late. My return time was supposed to be at 1:30 in another state but I was returning it to the cookevilles location. I called several times to tell them and when I got there I had to personally hand the keys and they said I didnt return the car until Tuesday and had to argue with people in other state but the car was there when it was supposed to be.

I had a rental set up at the Crossville location, however when I got there they were closed. I had to go to Cookeville that day in order to have a vehicle for our trip. I was upset about having to do that and Crossville didn’t let me know they were going to be closed, but the girl at the Cookeville office was awesome. She got me set up as soon as I got there and they were able to get me exactly what I needed. The mini van was super nice and held 6 people comfortably. I will be going to Cookeville from now on.

I had to rent a car nearly on the spur of the moment, and was able to make the reservation online, walk right in and check in and be on my way in a matter of minutes. My car was exactly what I wanted and was a pleasure to drive. Checking back in was equally speedy. I use Enterprise often because of the great service.

Pros: Polite enough staff, clean inside location, gravel parking lot for my vehicle available, they handled property left in the returned rental vehicle appropriately, and they were not forcibly pushy with the extra insurance they offer.Cons: The locations parking lots were not easily accessible to maneuver or park in and in a state of disrepair. The staff was not friendly. The representative who confirmed the reservation over the phone, prior to pick-up date, failed to specify the utility bill they request must meet their very specific specifications. ( a call to my utility and having additional information faxed and a wait, easily resolved the problem, but it was an issue that could have been avoided by thoroughness on their part)

Pick-up and return were quick and easy. Less than 15 minute process for both. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I paid with a debit card and my deposit was returned to my account within 48 hours. I will definitely use Enterprise for all of my car rental needs.

I rented a luxury vehicle (Cadillac) and both the inside and outside were dirty. Also, the oil change warning light came on shortly after I left the location. I expect a bit more attention to detail.

Friendly and they really will pick you up and drop you off. Id make them a 4 or 5- star rating if the parking lot was bigger and they had after hours drop off for rentals and keys. Theres always several customers renting or dropping off, so parking is always a challenge.

Price was great, car was great. Only con was when the deposit was credited back to my bank account the fee for the rental was also. Then two days later the fee was withdrawn but because of how the days fell I got hit with an overdraft fee because the security deposit was and then wasnt there due to how the money was returned and then debited. Not sure how or why all of that happened but overall we were very happy with our rental.

I was involved in a car accident. My damaged vehicle was towed to a local body shop. Ms. S. Maxwell with Enterprise came and picked me up at the body shop. I did not have to wait as she was very timely and very professional. She explained the features of the car giving me a comprehensive review of its operation and made sure that I understood the terms of the rental agreement. Salae got me in and out very quickly and painlessly. When the repairs were complete turning in the rental was easy and fast and they even gave me another ride back to my repaired vehicle. The entire car rental process was a good experience at Enterprise of Cookeville and I will definitely use them again and recommend them. Excellent job!

Always like the low rates and easy return and pickup. Ive had a bad rental car once with stains and smelled. But Ive also had 20 + vehicles from them. I also scheduled it over 4th of July weekend which is the busiest travel weekend in America so Im sure they were running out of options. All in all Im very happy and keep showing back up when I need a 4 day rental or something. 55-65 $ you cant beat !

I called to ask about renting an automobile and the first thing i got was a recording going through a menu list - not good. If Enterprise is not interested enough in serving me to pick up the phone and say Good morning, may I help You, then it is a good indication they are not to interested in serving the public. Glad they are not the only car rental place to choose from, I have choices.

I had to make a last minute reservation December 20th I thought there was going to be a problem when the local branch called me explaining they had overbooked and did not have a vehicle for me. However when I went in to the branch the next day not only did they give me a vehicle they gave me a 2 level upgrade and everything else about the experience was Top Notch. I will definitely lease or rent a car from Enterprise in the future if I have a need

My son went to rent a car this morning at the Enterprise Rental in Cookeville TN. He has been renting cars there since 2007. This morning even though they opened at 7:30 and they were washing cars while we were there they said they would have no cars available until 11:00 am. He needed one this morning first thing. Then he was told they couldnt take his debit card without a utility bill in his name. He doesnt have any bills except a cell phone bill in his name . I just happened to have one with us but because it showed an unpaid balance they wouldnt except it. Then he asked if he could pay with cash and was told no it had to be a card. I was very disappointed with this service, I understand there are rules, policies and procedures that must be followed but this was too much. You cant use cash ?????????????? And especially since he was a return customer since 2007 , he has rented multiple cars , never had this much of a problem. But thank you , it worked out for the better , he went to Hertz , got a car right when he needed it , no hassle and for a cheaper price, so you lost our business and Hertz gained it. Have a great day , and just so you know I will tell all my friends that use Enterprise to take their business to Hertz as well.

Quick, courteous customer service

As much as I would like to give 5 stars, I cant. I dont know if its simply the expierences that I have had at my local Enterprise that I have used several times, but the customer service and policies seem to be pretty inconsistent. The debit card that Ive used the past several times Ive rented a car couldnt be used the last time I tried to rent a car, because they said I needed a bill I had used my card on with my home address on it. I had never run into that issue before and when I asked the gentleman running the service desk about it he gave me a very snarky reply about how that policy had been in place for over 10 years. If thats the case, I understand, however, I had never been asked to provide a bill before with that same card. Either way, other than the lack of shining customer service I have received from time to time, I havent had a problem with Enterprise. They always have great cars and pretty low prices.

I have used the services of Enterprise for over 30 years. If there is any problem at any time Enterprise will correct it immediately. With my most recent experience my agent was not warned about the expired tags on my car rental because of a computer glitch. I brought the car back and within five minutes he placed me in a new Nissan Altima. During Katrina, Enterprise reduced my rate to ten dollars a day until I was able to return my rental car to New Orleans. As a customer you never forget that type of service. I would never rent a car from anyone except for the Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Cookeville. Their staff is always super nice and the cars are well-kept and clean. I never have to worry that anything will happen to my rental vehicle. It definitely takes the stress out of taking a vacation. I totally recommend this place.

The Cookeville store employees are all well trained to say all the nice things they should say. However my car was filthy inside. Even after I asked that it be cleaned. There was pet hair (dog?) in the carpet from front to back. The inside glass was smeared. The radio/media screen surface appeared to have food on it (greasy), and the driver floor mat had tan dirt all over the black mat. They could not even remove the floor mat and clean it. I had to purchase windex and go thru the car cleansing all the surfaces. I left the dog hair and dirty mat.

I frequent the Cookeville Enterprise quite often for work. Im there probably 3-6 times a month and the service is always excellent. I know all the rental employees and managers by name and they know me by name as well. This location always try to go above and beyond when they are servicing customers.

I am a frequent renter and have driven many different types of vehicles. The vehicles are always well maintained and have always gotten me there and back with no problems. The rates are inflated, just like everything else you pay for, but pick up and drop are are fast and easy processes. The only problems I have ever had were staff related. Most are friendly and helpful, but there are a couple of people there who are obviously bitter about life in general and just beam with arrogance. They will lie to you to manipulate situations to either get more money out of you or to adjust the amount of work they have to do. As long as I avoid them, I dont have any problems. If it werent for the 2 bad experiences I have had with these 2 people, I would have given 4 stars.

My sons vehicle was hit in the parking lot of grocery store while I was inside shopping. When I took the vehicle in to be fixed I received a car without curse control. I am disabled and having to keep my foot on the gas petal causes me to have a lot of pain in right knee. After only a few minutes my knee starts aching and shooting sharp pain. I ask the gentlemen if they had something different to loan us and he told me they did not. I have doctors appointment Thursday morning and if theres rain that day I sure dread going. Enterprise has a lot of vehicles in rent out so no i dont believe the gentleman when he said they didnt have anything else.

Mandating that I wear an oxygen depriving, carbon dioxide poisoning, germ infested mask before you will accept my business is not my idea of how to treat a customer.

Terrible service no one will answer. you have to answer 100 dam different questions and then repeat youself when a so called agent comes on WILL NEVER USE.Ok lets fast forward to today 3/5/18.My wife reserves a truck again and again when she got there the tooth pick with glasses wants to be sarcastic to my wife . Never had any issues here. The cars are always clean and have no mechanical issues. Im usually in the front door and out with a car within a few minutes. My opinion best rental car we have in Cookeville.
