Leo killed it. Ive spent a lot of time trying out different barbers in the area and hes been the most legit. He cut my hair quickly, efficiently, and did exactly what I asked. If youre looking for a modern, sleek cut. This is the place; super cool people as well. HIGHLY recommend.

This is a review of Amber, the “stylist” that works in the back, not any of the barbers. While I sat in the chair, I saw nothing but great cuts leave he shop. My husband is a fantastic barber, and he stopped in and said the same thing.For my review of Amber: Who just messaged me saying if she ever saw me again, she’d be physically violent.....I’m sorry but what the heck?! And then to kill myself!I made the appointment through my mother who had started to see her because she was a family friend that she was told was just starting out and needed the business. I do not live in the area anymore and my regular girl doesn’t work during the times I can come into town so I was in the market for a new stylist. I was told it was $45 for a cut and color by my mother who has paid that price. I get there and Amber says she thinks she needs to do 2 colors to get the color in the picture I sent. I said I’d rather just do one color all over, that it didn’t have to be exact to the picture, but that I already had lighter tones and that an all over color would turn out good with 2 different tones just from that. She didn’t agree, she insisted on lightening more. I said fine. I also said I did NOT want ANY length taken off, just a layered cut. She cut off 4 inches!!!!! I am devastated. She also turned my hair purple, and the color BURNED. It’s been 2 weeks and it still washes out purple in the shower, and the hair that she bleached is GREY! I have talked to 7+ stylists since then (my husband works in a spa and my friends asked their stylists) and they ALL said to ask for my money back that she either had no clue what she was doing or just didn’t care that day. The STYLISTS were telling me to ask for my money back. So I’d do today. And I was told that it was my fault for not speaking up while she was doing it. I was in a chair where I could see no mirror whatsoever, so how was I to know she was takin off length when I had asked her not to, and I can tell what the color is going to be while she’s doing it? Um, no. That’s her job. She did offer to fix it while I was there, but she ruined my hair! Why would I trust her to fix it?! If she could have fixed it, it wouldn’t have happened in the first place.I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I just move on. But this is sad and ridiculous. My hope is that with this review, that Amber admits to herself, she’s not as good as she thinks she is, and uses that to get better. You may be out of school, but you are never done learning. Watch videos, experiment on models. Read up on what you’re doing. Don’t buy the cheapest products to put on your clients hair! That’s not customer service. You should care that what you’re putting on someone’s hair is good for it. Good luck in the future. I really do hope you get better from this bad experience. Life is learning experiences.
