My dentist office is Great Expressions; it is location in Conyers. I had a frustrating issue today with my insurance provider. Nikki, the Regional Manager, Haley, the clerk, and my hygienist, patiently helped me to resolve this issue. They made me feel that they cared. I appreciate the services I receive from this office.

During all my visits - consultation, surgery , and follow-up - Periodontist Yolanda Moore and her staff have been empathetic, and respectful. Dr. Moore is knowledgeable, and explains and answers questions, and addresses patient concerns. Appointments get optimal team management to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner. I highly recommend this team for dental procedures.

At first I was a little perturbed with the long wait for the first appointment. But once I was in the facility I met the staff. Everyone was exceptionally nice and apologetic about a week. Very gentle, personable, answered all my questions I made sure I was comfortable kudos to the entire staff from the front desk to the back! Thanks!!!

Terrible service. I felt like I was rushed out of the chair while the hygienist was poor at communicating as to why my cleaning couldn’t have been done. It was as if she was only listening to respond. At checkout, the manager showed professionalism and explained everything to me in clear detail. The hygienist said she’s sorry for my frustration, when it was clearly confusion about the visit. Her customer service skills need a little retooling. All this while telling me she doesn’t have time, and she has two more customers waiting. Sorry to sound insensitive to the other customers, but my time is as valuable as theirs. I will never be returning. Thanks for the horrible experience.

I had a wonderful experience during my visit today. My hygienist, Jennifer, was great! She explained everything that she was doing and was very friendly and gentle during my cleaning. Dr. Starling was great as well! I would recommend them for all of your Dental needs.

I had a bad experience with Great Expressions Dental in Conyers Georgia. I had a deep cleaning before with them and it was done correctly with injections in my gumbs before the procedure. I thought I was being asked to do things that I didnt need so I didnt go to them for a while. I need to keep up my Dental health so I started back 😩 they suggested a deep cleaning, but this time they only gave me a topical before the procedure which I knew something was off so I went to my military dentist and he confirmed what I thought and showed it to me on my exrays. He said it was no way in hell they gave me a deep cleaning and the exrays confirmed that. If you live in the Conyers Georgia area please stay away from Great Expressions Dental. Those of you who know me know when when I feel strongly about a wrong that has been done I speak out. Please double check and check again if you have Dental service done by them.

Definitely recommend Great Expressions Conyers to anyone. Dr. Heard is beyond AMAZING. Hes very attentive, listens to his patients, and very informative when it comes to what is going on, what needs to be done, etc. The staff is great as well. Everyone is friendly and easy to talk to. The office is always nice, clean and welcoming.

The worst office Ive ever been to. The front office staff is rude and incompetent of her job. She doesnt believe in quality care customer service. You get placed on hold for an unreasonable amount of time because theyre severely understaffed. You provide updated demographics when in the phone just for you to get to the office and nothing even be updated. I definitely would not return to this office. Just gets worse and worse as the years progress.

This was my first time with this company. New patient so my visit was longer than expected. However, the front desk receptionist, Jasmine was AWESOME! Very professional and sweet. My appointment was at 1pm. I got there around 12:45pm (and I was the ONLY person in the office which I liked) and the xray person called me back around 1:05/1:10ish. I can’t remember her name, but she was very polite, professional, and gentle when doing my xrays.The next lady that came in to measure my gums wasn’t my favorite at all. Things seemed slightly rushed with her and I felt like she wasn’t as engaged or concerned about some of my inquiries. My dentist, who used to be my childhood denial was AWESOME and I’m glad that I was able to find him now in my adult years. He took his time to look at my teeth and explained to me everything that I would need to fix before getting my braces. Although, I had to wait 45mins for him to come in and see me, I’m glad that I did because I felt comfortable and more knowledgeable leaving my appt. The last young lady I saw before leaving to book my next appointments (I can’t remember her name either) but she was very polite as well. Overall my visit at this location was pleasant.** I definitely called my insurance company before my appointment, so that I’ll know what to expect and NOT get hit with a random bill like some of the reviews mentioned. The key is knowing what your insurance WILL and WILL NOT cover.***ATTENTION THEY CHARGE A $15 COVID FEE ON TOP OF WHATEVER SERVICE YOU’RE RECEIVING EACH TIME YOU VISIT THE OFFICE** I wasn’t informed of this before coming into the office, but luckily I had the money on hand.

Today I got the best cleaning that I ever had

I was very disappointed with my visit yesterday. I was left in the exam room for 50 minutes until I went to the front desk and asked if they had forgotten about me . With no apology or explanation, the reply was no, theyll get to you shortly. They could have come by periodically to let me know my treatment would be delayed. Then, when I paid the bill, the young lady seemed personally offended when I questioned the amount. She had overcharged me. Again, no apology, just a curt correction. My previous appointments with this office were much better.

This place is all about money, they broke my teeth while putting in my permanent crown 👑, which I had to pay for out of pocket while walking around with a missing tooth for 6 weeks.. please stay away from this place, their service is horrible and their office manager never return calls.. 😢😔😞

Well this is my third time visiting Great Expressions Dental Center in Conyers and I have to say I am not pleased at all with the services I receive. I think I should have listen to the reviews and stayed away. The hygienist that I see is not very welcoming and I feel that everytime I go there I am pulling out my wallet. There is always a problem and I can never just get a regular cleaning. I have never been to a dentist office that say u have to do this treatment instead of just a regular treatment. Its always there way or u not getting anything done. The office is very stale and not very inviting. So if you are planning to go to this location then make sure u bring money for you will be paying out of pocket in some form of fashion.I have decided to not return and to find another dentist and especially another hygienist who loves her job and makes your visit a pleasent one.

Im a new (elder) patient with issues and I must say, I was immediately put at ease when setting the appointments with Jazmyn (front off) and even more so with Natasha (dental assistant) at the appointments. Theyre very, sweet, knowledgeable and comforting. Dr. Heard is very good also and I had a brief visit with the hygienist which was very pleasant as well. Fear has so far left the building. Thanks to all.I returned to the office about a month later and service still great. New staff with Hailey in front office and Shelly as dental assistant. The only drawback is their branch doesnt accept supplemental insurance I could use to help pay (in pmts) my portion my insurance doesnt pay. I pray I can continue to stay with them.

Typically when I visit this office they’re very prompt. The staff is friendly. But when I visited the office today July 20 I waited over 40 minutes To be seen. I don’t think it’s fair for a doctors or anyone to keep a person waiting my time is just as valuable.

I have been going to this location for some time, and I finally get an appointment since COVID-19. Now, when you go in for a visit, they charge a $15 cleaning fee, because of the coronavirus.The big thing is that not all of their locations do this.Looking for a new dentist this year.

Services of the dentists and hygienist are great. They are gentle and caring and inform you of all treatment options and procedures. The receptionists are not as caring. I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment with no update or consideration while I waited. Communication is important.

Had to wait 45 minutes before being seen without any explaination as to why. However, the actual visit was great! The new hygienist (Heather - I think was her name) was very gentle and explained everything as she went along. Overall, great visit.

After a bad experience with a nearby dentist, my wife and I decided to go to Great Expressions. We are very happy with care that was given to us. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable. They gave us a treatment plan, explained everything step by step, and they accept most insurance including dental discount plans. Very very pleased with my visit, will definitely return for future care.

Dr. Ebo was very thorough, precise, professional, empathetic and helpful. Him and Jackie has me and my teeth feeling much better and Mary was friendly and helpful as well and the other ladies assisting throughout the procedure and checkout. Im truly and eternally grateful and thankful!

Wrote a super long post, but it got erased. Long story short the dentist is the worst part about this establishment. She got me mixed up with another unsatisfied customer and became out right rude to me and lying. The saving grace for this place was the dental assistant and front desk staff which is the reason they got 2 stars instead of 1. Somebody teach the dentist bedside manners and patience because thats what she lacks tremendously! They also have issues with cleanliness with the dental staff. The lady in the front was trying to prevent this post, but it needed to be said to forewarn the next perspective patient. P.s. to the dentist I wont be back. Now I just said it and Ill make sure to tell everyone my experience with you. I wouldnt recommend the devil here because of you.Just found out that the dentist name is stalling or whatever

Today was my first time at Great Expressions and I didnt know what to expect. My time there was amazing. I had a deep cleaning, scared out of my wits. I cant emphasize how nice and sympathetic these employees were. 5 star customer service all they way! I would recommend friends and family to this dental center any day of the week.

I am a 66 year old male who has been terrified of the dentist since I was a kid. I have finally found a dentist office where I feel comfortable! I have avoided the dentist unless absolutely necessary....i.e. Im in so much pain I cant stand it! Im having several procedures done without pain and, most importantly, without any fear! Thanks to the wonderful staff at Great Expressions in Conyers, GA.

DO NOT use their online booking service. Complete waste of time. I booked close to a month out and I got there today for my appointment and said I wasnt on the scheduled. Said their online booking doesnt match their manual appointment schedule. So now I have to come back in two weeks.

I got an immediate appointment. I was surprised, but really thankful. The staff was wonderful, especially Alexa. She was kind, professional, and she patiently answered my questions. She explained the procedure that was about to take place. It was a welcomed change to have dental staff actually talk to you.The doctor was personable and very good at her job.

Great Expressions did a fabulous job; when my mom broke her dentures; they got her an appointment right away. They sent her dentures to be repaired immediately; so my mom would not have to wait to get her dentures repaired. That is what I call world, class, celebrity treatment.

It’s was a tear ago that I was referred to see Dr. Yolanda Moore for advanced gum disease. At first I was in shock and then denial, but the truth was inescapable; I needed extensive periodontal care to save precious teeth. I did everything Dr. Moore told me to do, everything! Now I’m feeling so much better about a future with my real teeth.I’m grateful for the dental assistants and office staff for supporting me as I maintain my dental Health.

Had an abscess for 5 days. Everywhere else wanted to charge me a fee just to be seen $150-$200.00.. But Great Expressions offered me an appointment same day. As well as dental protection plan. With this plan I only paid $69.99. I received X-rays and consulting with future discounts on major dental work!.. Great Expressions are amazing.. The staff as well! Very helpful and welcoming..!! I’d recommend them to any and everybody I know. Thank you Great Expressions!!

Excellent service

This was my first experience with Great Expressions on Salem Rd. Major customer service issue! The front desk staff was friendly with smiles, greetings and answered questions just fine. The Hygienist, Julia, came into my exam room with NO introduction, no smiles , no greeting, just starting looking at the paper work. When I asked what was her name she turned to me like I was the problem and said Julia. This is your profession....why am I asking your name! Honestly speaking, she was very knowledgeable on her skills and offered additional info on problem dental areas. Then I the actually Dentist comes in. She comes in, no greeting, and starts to review my paperwork. Mind you I am a very friendly approachable person. She offers NO NO NO NO customer service at all. No greetings, no smile, no eye contact, no hello, no how are you, no what are your concerns, NOTHING. Now I see where the Hygienist gets it from. So I ask the Dentist (in a joking tone) you have all my paperwork in front of you. You know my name can I have yours? She does not turn around, does not make eye contact and states Dr......?????? I cant tell you what she said because she did not turn around, did not take her mask off. Needless to say if you are looking for goo-great customer service, you may want to pick another location.

Staff is awesome! From the front desk, to the hygienist (she is patient with me), and the actual the Dr. she has grown to be patient with me. I am so afraid of the dentist even for a cleaning. They all make me comfortable.

I needed a lot of work done . I hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Starling and her staff were patient with me and explained the multiple procedures that they needed to perform . Almost two months later my mouth is feeling better. They are very thorough, from the front desk to the treatment area .I recommend them highly and will be back!

Great experience

I came to great expressions after a terrible experience at another office. I had left the previous office in tears due to the pain and discomfort during an attempted procedure to have my wisdom tooth removed. I called great expressions and they were able to take me later that same day. I came in to a very warm and welcoming office where they took their time with me and set me up to be seen. I consulted with Dr Ebow, I believe his name was, and was already extremely anxious and afraid to continue the procedure due to the experience I had previously that day but He assured me everything would be okay and set me up for the extraction. From start to finish he was nothing short of amazing! His technique to numb the patient was incredible, I felt NO pain at all! During the extraction I only felt the pressure (that is to be expected when removing a tooth ) and within about 10 minutes I was walking out the door. Absolute great service from beginning to end. They comforted me and made me feel relaxed when I definitely needed it. I will definitely be returning for all my dental needs to this office!

Terrible experience. Dentist and hygienist strategically overbook so you are left waiting for at minimum 30 minutes. One time I waited an hour. There also are major discrepancies between what the dentist diagnoses versus the work they attempt to do. For example - one of my molars on the back left side is chipped, however the hygienist when I asked to show me the tooth pointed out a random molar on the right side. Do not waste your time at this office. Your teeth and pockets deserve better.

Ive gone to the office a couple of times and I must say, the head dentist has a horrible attitude and doesnt have great people skills. If youve ever had to feel nervous about visiting a dentist office because no one made you feel comfortable, this one is the one to avoid. Also, I had to get fill-ins at this location and they only have a one year warranty on fill-ins (fill-ins should last anywhere from 7-10 years). My fill in went out a little over a year and they refused to cover it!! My insurance didnt cover it because they expect the dentist office to have a 2-3 warranty. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE. I just had to finish paying off an extra $150.00 on top of the $80 I paid for my fill-in because they wanted to give me a hard time about it. On top of that, when I called and just wanted someone in the staff to sympathize with me, every staff member I spoke to caught an attitude and tried to argue back. Ive decided to use another dentistry for myself and anyone else that used this office. They definitely need to improve their warranty program (this is someones mouth youre dealing with) and the behavior and attitudes of their team. The two stars I gave this practice is for the one person who actually took the time to talk to me and actually care about my teeth and oral health. Thanks to you... but everyone else... Im on to the next!

Dr. Starling and team were very professional. They gave me genuine care with their communication and and gave me clear instruction. Their hands and skill with the tools were graceful and precise. Probably my best experience at a dentist.

Dr. Sterling is too busy to meet with patients to discuss treatment plans and concerns. She relies heavily on incompetent dental hygienists which actually lead to her working on THE WRONG TOOTH! Although the tooth she worked on was a part of my treatment plan, it was NOT a priority in that the tooth next to it was treated with a root canal from another Great Expressions location. That treatment was great however, it left a hole that needed to be treated BEFORE the tooth that had MINOR DECAY! Of course I was numb when she worked on my tooth. I had no idea she was working on a tooth other than the one I requested. When treatment was finished, I still felt the hole in my tooth. Dr. Sterling was no where to be found. The dental hygienist was RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL as I questioned why they worked on the tooth next to the tooth that I requested they work on. To sum it up, through Dr. Sterlings negligence, she relied on the staff that does the billing to schedule my appoint. My appointment was set according to an old treatment plan as opposed to the tooth I requested filled. No one took responsibility for the mistake! Ive called Great Expressions Corporate several times to no avail. Im currently considering legal action! I would say steer clear of GREAT EXPRESSIONS - Old Salem Rd., Conyers, Ga, if you desire good, personable dental work!

Extremely unclean and very unprofessional. They did terrible work and are completely unethical. This has been the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life. They not only pushed products on me as if I was shopping retail, they were also rude, and did not properly explain or educate me as a patient. I felt completely disrespected and insulted. In top of that, the actual work done was subpar and I am still suffering from pain of the so called DMD attempted to force a crown in my mouth. The crown not only cracked but also popped out the same day. The DMD should not be licensed in the State of Georgia. I would recommend any other dentist besides the one on Old Salem Rd. You will be extremely frustrated and disappointed. There were additional patients whom had to return because of the poor dental work done. It is not only a waste or time but also a waste of money to go to the Conyers location. I am in hopes that not all Great Expressions Dental Centers are operated like this location. It has been almost a month and no one had made a plan or solution to resolve my dental needs. All they wanted was my money and other than that I am not worth their time. I have had to call as well as actually take time off of work to personal speak to the manage as well as a director of operations. With all that the issue has yet to be addressed. This is unacceptable!

Ms. Tracey at Conyers was wonderful. I had been to a dentist prior to this for a check up and she did way better than them. Her motions were painless and she spoke with me to help me keep my mind off the pinching. I usually do not leave reviews but she deserves it! Thanks Tracey.

Dr.Starling is great but checking in is unpleasant. The young lady Latonia that sits up front, doesn’t speak, barley makes eye contact and takes forever to acknowledge your presence. Despite the fact you are a paying customer with a smiling face and positive energy she acts like a character from the walking dead. So getting past the horrible checkin process back to dentist and assistants, the experience is worth the visit and the wait. However, the amount of negative energy you have to overlook each visit is a bit much. I have currently started trying out other dentist for just a cleaning until I can find another dentist.
