There were some difficult challenges in the installation of our new heating & air system. Pepper’s H & A did an excellent job in solving every problem and took time to instruct us on how to use the new system. They left the work area neat and clean. We are very pleased and highly recommend them.

From our very first phone call with Kayley (and we talked multiple times), meeting with Rodney (who made a special trip the day we called) for an inspection and quote, and the installation of a new ac unit by Alan and Hunter (2 days after our initial call), our experience has been STELLAR! This was a rental property, so Peppers had to coordinate the repair visit with the tenant for weekend emergency work, which they did. They responded.quickly, did quality work, and the invoice even included photos of what they did and the part they replaced. Late on a Friday night we noticed it was a little warm in the house. Went to check the thermostat and sure enough, no AC.After sweating through the night I hopped on Google, hoping there was somebody who could come out on a Saturday. Peppers popped up and had the good reviews to get a call. I spoke with Lisa, who was very pleasant and helpful. Within TWO HOURS of our conversation they had a technician at my house, with informative and helpful texts leading up to his arrival.The tech, Michael, greeted me in the driveway. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He got right to work diagnosing the problem (capacitors in the fan motor went out), and immediately ordered the part to get it fixed.Michael stayed in touch while we waited on the part to ship, and as soon as it was in, he was back out here and had the unit working again within about an hour. He even cleaned the condenser for no extra charge! What a guy!Our AC has been purring like a kitten ever since - something we will never take for granted again.Cant recommend Peppers enough! Their communication and professionalism is unparalleled.

Our air conditioner stopped working called Peppers first time young lady said she could get a technician out right away. We had company coming in from out of town and this was 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Within 20 minutes a technician showed up and started working. Thomas Huff was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We would highly recommend Thomas and Peppers Heating and Air to all our neighbors and friends.

My unit’s fan suddenly stopped working at 10pm, leaving the house to stay an unpleasantly warm 80 degrees. I called around 8 am the next day and got a same day appointment between 2 and 6. Mike called before arrival and arrived maybe around 2:30pm. Fixed within an hour. Some debris had prevented a connector from connecting and the fan wasn’t kicking in because of it. With it gone, our house went from 83 (outside was in the mid 90s) to 78 by 10pm. So pleased! Mike is super nice, very professional. Peppers service was a pleasure as usual, and my go to call for service. Thank you!

They were wonderful. Any time I called with questions they were willing to answer. The day of service two gentlemen came to install a new A/c and heating system. There was some issues with the wiring but they made sure they were going to stay until resolved. They were here for 8 hours and waiting another 10minites just to make sure the issue was resolved. Highly recommend this company for AC/Heating needs. Our unit was installed in 2007 by them and has worked great ever since. The only problem weve encountered was a capacitor replacement after several years. Parts do wear out over time. We are very pleased with the response time and service received.Update: have, since the initial visit, had our air ducts cleaned and a Halo Reme house filter added to the supply ducts. Since I have sinus and allergy problems the filter has improved my breathing ability without constant sneezes immensely. Am very thankful to the first technician who recommended this be done.

Weve had a reoccurring issue of leaking due to a backed up pipe. Generally if we had someone look at it they flush it out and quote a very high price to rerun the pipe to correct the reoccurring issue. When we contacted this company Thomas came out and flushed the system but also replaced the line for a very reasonable price and instructed us on maintenance to keep it from happening again. Highly reccomend!

Hands down, the best service that you can find. They came in to help after the original installer couldn’t figure out the problem, tried to blame us and basically refused to stand behind their work. Mike, our technician, was AWESOME. He listened to me, asked questions and didn’t try to dismiss my observations; he inspected the system in detail, even crawling way back into our attic, to check what he thought might be issue. Unlike the prior company, Mike took the time and made the effort. He found the problem, discussed and explained it, and explained how he was going to effect the repair. Easy and upfront! They came out same day. It was $89 for a service fee and they found that the flame sensor simply needed to be cleaned off, and the filter changed. No extra charges besides the service fee and it was fixed within an hour. Amazing. Super kind people to work with, too.

This visit was for an estimate. But I called Peppers because they stand behind their work. They installed a unit in my house after the old unit was damaged by lightning. It had issues to begin with, but Peppers stayed diligent and kept tracking the problem until it was finally determined to be a faulty unit from the factory. The truth can often be illusive; particularly with contractors. My regular guy that works on our HVAC stuff was days behind, so, knowing that Peppers enjoys a good local reputation I contacted them to help with our failed HVAC in our AirBnB. From Peppers I got truth, and competence and timeliness. I contacted them by stepping into their office on Green Street. The office staff was pleasant & professional. They arranged me an appointment for the next day. The next day the service man called me to let me know he was on the way. He came dressed for work & in a well equipped work van. He asked me a few questions and went to work. His diagnosis was not what I wanted to hear but he was forthright and truthful. I asked him to cobble together what he could to make it work, but he, after consulting with his boss, said they were unwilling to do any work they could not warranty. I have immense respect that, and now I am left holding Peppers in high regard for their integrity, as well as the other positive qualities already mentioned.

Pepper’s LITERALLY saved our lives. So yesterday, my husband smelled a weird odor inside our home. He contacted Atlanta Gas Company, and when they got here, they said that the levels of carbon monoxide in our house were so much that we shouldn’t even still be alive. I thanked God, then went to work contacting HVAC companies. I called several before my mom suggested that I call Peppers. My entire family is from Conyers, and some of them had used Peppers before. I called and spoke to Christy, explained the severity of our situation, and she IMMEDIATELY went to work. She assured me that she was going to do everything in her power to make sure that our problem was resolved. Within an hour, Christy let me know that their technician, Chris was on his way to our house. Christy also kept in contact with me by checking on us several times until they arrived. At 8 pm at night, Chris repaired the flue pipe on our house. Pepper’s took great care of my family, and for a more than reasonable price. I cannot thank them enough. The pictures are before and after.
