There was a short in a part that caused my heat to run consistently in the dead of summer. I found this company on Google and called. I was connected with a service person immediately. He was able to walk me through a couple of steps over the phone so that I was able to bypass the thermostat and shut the unit down until they could get to my home. I had a service person at my house with in 1 hour of my phone call (Our home is in the middle of nowhere) Mr Richard was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He thoroughly explained the problem (in terms I understood) and even answered a few other questions I had regarding our heating and air units. I was very thankful for them!!!!

My a/c quit working this afternoon. I called them at 2:30 to get a service appointment. When they found out my elderly mom lives with me and has congestive heart failure, they told me they would get to me today. David came around 6, replaced a part, and had us getting cool by 6:20. This company is the best of the best! Our upstairs unit went out— in the middle of August, yuck— and these guys made sure we were taken care of promptly with the highest quality equipment. Replacing a whole unit takes some time, but the installers blew me away with their willingness to push through a long (HOT) day to get the job done. We have small children in the house, and they made it so that in just a day’s work our kids would have air in their bedrooms and didn’t have to go without through the night. Besides that, they recognized some ductwork problems the day of install, and it didn’t delay them or cause any major hiccups. They fixed the ductwork so our new system would have optimal performance, and wow! Their attention to detail and expert workmanship has made a huge difference in how our upstairs feels. Great company with great, attentive people! Would definitely recommend using them.

Spent $13,000 installing a new hvac system by them. The guys were all very nice and professional during the installation. However, some of the details I noticed after the install were very sloppy and not to my satisfaction. I had to have them back out twice to correct a couple things. It was still pretty sloppy work even after two tries but I just gave up because someone had to be home every time they came and I couldn’t keep taking time off from work to meet them.Three months since the install and the downstairs outside unit has stopped working when we try to run the air conditioning. We had someone come out and they said the condensation line wasn’t draining and that it was our fault because we didn’t put bleach down the drains! This is a brand new system! I usually put bleach in the drain at the end of each season, but we had only used the AC once since they installed the new system in the winter and were using the furnace. He claimed to have fixed the clogged drain and scolded us about the bleach and left. Three days later the same outside unit won’t turn on again. I checked the same drain as last time and it’s plugged up / not draining. Water is now leaking out onto the floor and making a huge mess! Now we need to have them send someone out again! VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THEIR INCOMPETENCE! We could have hired anyone for our new system, but we wanted to support our local small businesses, Freyaldenhoven has been in business for a long time, but I wouldn’t do business with them again.

The technicians are always considerate and professional. We have used their maintenance service for about 13 years. They installed the equipment and have kept in top shape all this time. They are the experts!

Last month I had 4 major heat and air companies come to my home to provide an estimate to replace an air conditioning unit. It was interesting to listen to each one present what they thought needed to be done.....not only to replace my unit but other issues they believed needed to be corrected to improve my air and heat delivery.Then, I called Brian Parsons, consultant for Freyaldenhoven Heat and Air, someone my sister has used for over 10 years. He came out to my home, and I shared what I had been told by the other companies who had come to give me a quote. He spent time inspecting the entire heat and air system, making notes, and explained what actually needed to done versus things which would not contribute to improved functionality or the life of the system as previously presented by the other heat and air companies. The quote he gave me not only included replacing the air conditioning unit, but also included repairing and replacing duct work that had fallen apart and building a new plenum as the one we had was old and breaking apart, and sealing (foaming) the boots under the house and intake area inside the house,The crew who came to do the work were the most polite and respectful young men, Nick and Seth. They were an efficient, hard working, quality minded, detail-oriented and customer friendly team. By the way, the quote I received was very competitive in the marketplace

The service manager is a great guy for Conway area, but Ive had these technicians out three times since summer started. My ac will work for a couple weeks to a month and then stop cooling my house with cold air clearly not coming out of the vents.They can never seem to get it fixed and the last technician that I tried to call, answered back with some bogus statement like well if its not something we missed last time itll be an after hours charge to come diagnose at 195$. I told him to save his time and that Im done with this company.Its unfortunate because the service manager was so nice but I just cant support this place. Technicians need to do better and provide better customer service.EDIT** Someone called me the next day and worked it out. I was very impressed! thats how you take criticism and make an improvement. Great job. I left the above to show how they responded.

Feyaldenhoven Heating and Cooling took on a tricky job that many HVAC contractors wouldnt even quote us on. They installed a new unit and ductwork in the existing second floor of our house which did not have any existing central heat and air. Other contractors took one look at it and didnt even try to find a way to install a system. Freyaldenhoven came out and took their time and talked it through with us to determine the best plan for us. They admitted that it was tricky but could be done. They were very professional and were able to get the project scheduled and completed in a timely manner. We will continue to use Freyaldenhoven for all of our HVAC needs.

They did an awesome job of diagnosing the problem and offering quick resolution. Justin even came by on Sunday, his day off to consult with us since we work out of town. The work was very cleanly done. No trash or debris left after they finished. Would highly recommend!

Calling and scheduling the appointment was great and easy, the customer service representative was very friendly. My issue is that I called at 945am, and was told one person was ahead of me, and it would a min, to which I said that is ok because my kids and I were going to church. The technician told me since I was not a particular member with them it would be a flat fee of $$ just to come. I agreed since it is 90 degrees outside and 110 inside. It is now 8 and a half hours later and we are still waiting. Had to call again and was told im still in line, but shouldnt have been in line if only one person was ahead of me. I understand its hot and several need help, but at least he could be keeping in touch. ***Follow up..I received a call from Justin, and he explained more on how technicians are called out. I appreciate him calling and explaining this more for me, and agreeing more communication should be given. I will be giving them a second chance if needed in the future.

I have been a customer at Freyaldenhovens for over 30 years for a reason. They called to make an appointment for my preventative maintenance, respected the social distancing practices, arrived exactly on time after calling first, worked diligently to complete the inspection and all that came with it. They found a failed part and had it fixed, with a discount, the same day. The technician was knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. I don’t know what else you could ask for.

An update from my previous post: Excelled in fixing my complaint. Carrie, on the phone, did great to bear with the constant calls and getting the technician there. And to Shaun(Sean?), the technician, who not only fixed the issue swiftly, but had a great attitude after a long day and was very informative toward a new homeowner. When I did have a complaint, the manager was quick to respond and sent another technician by to ensure my house was doing fine. I will say they make things right in the end and as a proud veteran I will definitely use them again. They took care of me.

From maintenance to replacement, pricing to quality of work, the Freyaldenhoven team has always been easy to work with.Casey came today for our routine maintenance, and was very thorough. Overall I’m pretty pleased with Freyaldenhoven. For the most part they’ve been very responsive throughout the purchase, install and tuning/maintenance of our new system. With one exception, the techs are all courteous and knowledgeable, and listen to our comments and concerns when addressing any issues we’ve had. I would definitely use them again.

The installation was completed in a timely manner , installers were professional, and the follow-up visit confirmed everything was done properly. Plus all of my questions were answered. Great job.

I’m not using them this time around because I already made different plans, but I might consider them again in the future.****I called Freyaldenhoven to inquire about getting a mini-split unit installed in my small home. At first they were quick to respond and set up a time for a technician to check out the location. The technician was very nice and professional.However, receiving an actual proposal was a nightmare. I had to call back several times. Finally someone at Freyaldenhoven sent me a proposal, but the cost seemed inflated by a few thousand dollars. Further, the proposal didnt provide any information on the size or kind of system they were intending on install and they did not answer my inquiry. I ended up hiring a competitor to instal a similar unit that I purchased myself, saving me $5000. I understand paying more for quality products and service, but I feel like Freyaldenhoven was just giving me the run-around and trying to sell me something I didnt want or need but felt like they could do it because of my limited knowledge of HVAC. I find that unacceptable and hence the negative review.

I had Freyaldenhovens check out my mothers heating unit last week. I usually hang around to verify that things are looked over well and taken care of. The first tech was nice enough, did his job, had to check some things and clean something, ended up leaving while the unit was running. The unit went bad again less than a day later. Called freyaldenhovens, the woman in the office did seem a bit peeved or annoyed but sent out a new technician promptly. (Just not the friendliest woman to talk to). This technician was very knowledgable about his job, very well organized and put together, and most importantly kind to my mother who is a dementia patient. The young man, Anthony, went out of his way to speak to and explain things to my mother and I both. My mother kept speaking to him while he tried working and wanting to have a conversation with him. He was thoughtful and patient and never once wrote her off as an elderly woman. The young man was also able to fix her unit without any payment due to a small overlooked area by the first technician (which he would not admit to but i just knew).I would recommend this company and more importantly this young man to anyone looking for help on their heating unit.Anthony, thank you for your time, care and efforts that you put into my mothers home. Anthony was prompt and very knowledgeable about my heating and cooling system! He explained things very clearly to me about the problems with my system.

Our air conditioner was not cooling properly. After going through our home warranty and having several people come out to “fix” the AC, it would only work for a few days and then would stop working again. I decided to call Freyaldenhoven on a Saturday because we have a 2 month old and it was very important that it was fixed properly and quickly. The technician, Derrick, that came to our house was friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained our options and we decided to replace the unit. Justin, our consultant, was very helpful which helped my husband and I choose a unit that worked for us. Our AC unit was installed yesterday and our house feels amazing. I do not regret our decision to use Freyaldenhoven and not our home warranty at all. I know it was fixed properly and the customer service has been excellent!

Excellent support by all the sales and service representatives from Freyaldenhoven Heating and Cooling. Spent plenty of time explaining the use of the thermostate. Appreciate them taking care of the registration of the unit and its components. Have had a Trane unit in another house and was especially pleased with cost savings in the electric bill.

Talking to the nighttime service employee was very unpleasant. He was very short and didn’t offer any help. He was a lot of I don’t knows and didn’t know how to talk to a customer over the phone.

What a phenomenal company to do business with! I couldnt have asked for a more professional group of people to deal with. They found numerous issues from the previous install and fixed them with no additional cost. I chose them based on a previous recommendation from a contractor who builds custome homes in central Arkansas. Cost was not my driving issue when I chose them, it was the customer service that was described to me after completion of the install. But heres the kicker, they were the cheapest by several thousands of dollars.

I called just about everywhere in town and these guys had the product I wanted at a very reasonable price. I also had them redo the air return vents because the prior owners or Russaw did a shoddy job. I am just absolutely thrilled with the work and customer service I received. 1 thing I would suggest to anyone buying anything. Do your research. I got a 16 seer 3 ton outside unit and some work done to the interior for less than 4k. Most other places were over 4k without doing what these guys did to make the whole thing work correctly. Again I highly recommend these folks!

Im a licensed Professional Engineer and design HVAC systems and work with HVAC contractors nationwide. When my house needed a new unit I contacted Freyaldenhoven to replace the old unit with a new high efficiency Trane unit. Freyaldenhoven was easy to work with and they took care to explain the installation, the equipment, costs, etc. They also did a follow-up quality assurance visit to review the installation and to tweak several items so that I get maximum performance out of the new unit. Five stars on both the equipment they furnish, and on the service they provide.

I would never recommend using this company. They are unethical to say the least. I was charged for a visit after they recommended a $435 part that I did not need to fix my problem. A more reputable company came out and fixed my problem for $80. I told them when they threatened to bill me for a visit that I would inform whoever wanted to listen that they should be aware before using this company. You have been warned!

Overpriced and shoddy work. we paid 14 grand for 2 new heat pumps and air handlers. the 14 x 24 return they left installed is to small for the unit. it is choking the system down and is very noisy and doesnt cool well. If you are considering hvac work in central Arkansas keep looking. The install rep was adamant about using such small of units despite my concerns. I am paying for his mistake now, at 90 degrees outside and my house wont cool below 73. Im not sure what calculations they use to determine unit size but it they were at least 1/2 a ton off on both units.
