Extremely nice people. Nolan is super sweet and knowledgeable and Emily is awesome, easy to make conversation with. They fixed an issue with my car that I have had for years and tried to fix myself about 5 times. They stand by their word and their work. Highly recommend

This is the WORST mechanic shop to go to. I originally walked in not knowing my problem. The mechanic and I took the car down the road and came back to the shop. He magically told me every problem I had just from that ride. He didn’t do a real Diagnosis.He ended up wanting to charge me 1600 dollars to replace the brakes and to fix the front hub assembly. I declined and went to Pep Boys who did a REAL Diagnosis and told me what my problem was, they also took my extended warranty. The work ended up being cheaper and I also didn’t need all my brakes replaced.

In and out quickly. Clean spacious waiting area. Receptionist knew what she was doing. She had specific recommendations for my make model and year. Very knowledgeable. Impressed. Price was competitive. Very happy.

I had my services done on my Nissan Maxima last year customer service was great! This week I also took the Nissan back into the shop to get more work done. It’s kinda pricey but the service is great!

Had a great experience going to this shop. Wanted to buy a used car at a dealership close by. Before buying the car, I took it to C.A.R.S for a pre-purchase inspection. Lady at the front desk assured me that everything will be thoroughly looked at. They finished earlier then expected. She gave me a detailed checklist and gave me the ok to get the car, regardless of a few minor issues needed. Car has been driving smoothly with no issues. Definitely recommend this shop.

Complete joke. Paid for the diagnostic on the car they didnt want to tell me exactly what it is. The code they gave me was for three different things. Called Codes automotive like I should have done in the first place they fixed it 150.00 everything. This mechanic c.a.r.s. wanted 1900 tax and all.

Quick, simple inspection process.

I had them tow my car to there shop to get it fixed. They didnt take down my notes. Some lazy mechanic looked at it for may 10 and wrote down his assumption and the obvious and they said they couldnt work on it. The mechanic was wrong they could have worked on it. So I ended paying 300+ so my car could get a field trip Im a disabled vet they said they would give me that discount and instead charged the full amount on everything.

This is my go-to car repair shop! Dennis and his co-workers are so nice and treat everyone like family! Every time I set into the door they know who I am. They are so HONEST too! They never lie to you. I love that in a repair shop. I’ve been to so many other repair shops here in Conroe or in the area where they try to sell you on parts you don’t need or lie to you about what is wrong with your vehicle. They don’t do that here. Every time I’ve been here I’ve waited no more than 30 minutes for them to tell me and SHOW me what’s wrong with my vehicle. I recommend this place to all my family and friends. The great thing is, they even take a look at your car before charging you a dime! And if you know nothing about cars, they take you in the back, they show you and explain to you what is wrong. The cost is so inexpensive and they work with you on the prices! If I were you, don’t even waste your time on other shops! This place is AWESOME!!

Emily was fantastic! She kept me informed during repair process. Even did so more than once during a 1-day repair visit. Her estimates were spot on. She is a VERY pleasant and professional general manager.

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to C.A.R.S. for years. The professionalism, service, hospitality and fairness here is unmatchable. A few months ago, I needed several things fixed on my truck at once. Dennis took the time to not only explain what the issues were but he took me into the shop and showed me. I was able to understand and see what the issues on my truck were. All of the work was done so quickly and at a fantastic price. At C.A.R.S. I always know I’m getting the fairest price and the best care for my vehicles.

This is a very great place. The mechanics have a very Good diagnostic skills. They were able to diagnose and identifying my car problems and fix them in a timely manner. They are very friendly and accommodating. They also have a good work ethics. the price is reasonable compared to other places I have been. I highly recommend them.

Had grinding noise and engine knocking; never a good sound from an engine.Service Manager and team found metal in oil pan. Quoted 2 replacement engines and then determined current engine was non-repairable. A replacement engine made no financial sense for this auto so they buttoned it up and we settled our tab. They did find a recall for my 2012 Kia sorento, however my vin# was NOT part of Kia Automotive class action lawsuit for the exact reason my engine failed.We were treated with the upmost respect with dignity and care. Management went way above with quote work ups, a honest auto repair shop is hard to find which I will endorse for anyone. I however reccomend to not purchase any Kias manufactured from 2011-2013, lots of engines catching on fire, seizing, and Kia not upholding their 100000 mile warranty.

Very good experience with them. They were recommended to me by my cousin and I would recommend them to anyone who wants your car taken car of. Out of nowhere, driving back from the store, my car started shaking and the service engine light started blinking. (Blinking=emergency) Had it towed to them. Had a response quick. Had several things wrong, was told what was ABSOLUTELY needed and what could wait. Just passed 100k so was overdue for a full tune up, battery was super low, and sadly also had half my coils go out. A few other things to. Gave the go ahead. Had the car back same day. $1200 is never something you want to hear but their quality and kindness softened the blow a bit. Car seems to be running like new and they included a warranty. Overall I will be back to them in the future!

I came in for an oil change and inspection, but my headlight/ connector was out. (This is a common occurrence I’ve been dealing with since I’ve had the vehicle). They ordered the parts from the dealership that day and allowed me to go grab lunch during this. They replaced the light and connector and then the other side went out. He fixed it at no additional cost. I felt very comfortable at the location and they seem very trustworthy.

I take pride in maintaining my vehicles and it goes without saying that to do this effectively at a fair cost you need to find a good mechanic that you can trust. I initially took my truck into Service One Automotive and they told me I had a busted strut, ball joints needed to be replaced, etc. They quoted me $1,700 for all of the work that needed to be done and emphasized that it was imperative that I get it done as soon as possible (even though a shot strut isnt going to put your vehicle out of commission). I knew right off the bat they were ripping me off and trying to mislead me into getting the work done there by telling me it was urgent work that needed to be done. I drove my truck around for at least 3 months after that without any issues. When I checked my struts they looked fine to me, but I knew I needed a second opinion. I needed to find an honest, trustworthy mechanic to take a look at my vehicle and do a full inspection on everything that needed to be done to my truck. I took it to C.A.R.S is Conroe and Dennis Mendoza took care of everything. They had great customer service and he kept communication with me over the phone while I was at work with what all needed to be worked on and how long it would take and when my truck would be ready as well as cost of service. His mechanics are certified and they found that there was in fact, nothing wrong with my struts or ball joints. They diagnosed everything that needed to be done with my vehicle and got it done that day. Total cost was around $650. Ill definitely be taking my truck back to C.A.R.S in the future for any maintenance or repairs that I need. Its hard to find honest mechanics these days but theyre out there, and Dennis is one of them. Cant recommend this place enough!

My car is ten years old, and various issues have been popping up over the past couple of years. CARS has been a reliable resource for repairs and advice, and pricing is affordable and fair. Most recently, I assumed by brake pads were worn out, and requested they replace them. To my surprise, they inspected them, and told me that they were still good. Thats the kind of honesty you can expect at CARS!

Friendly and quick service.

Took car in to shop with a simple issue of it bogging down.. Was told cant replicate issue, nothing wrong. Asked them to look at fuel pump and continue looking. Left and received a call about an hour later that they wanted to look at it further, more cost. I allowed. Waited four hours and no call so I called to check into it. Was then told it was a list of major issues and when I asked to speak to mechanic, was told he was gone for the day at 2 pm. Went to get my car, fuel pump was never checked and car is now making rattling noises that it wasnt before. Asked to check car before I signed off on it and lady was very rude. Never signed as it was worse off. Was asked to leave because they already had my money. Have taken numerous cars there over the years with great service but it has quickly and drastically gone downhill. Will never take another vehicle there.

I had an excellent experience with C.A.R.S. Conroe right before Christmas. I had a whining noise in my 4-runner. The idler arms were worn and they changed out the serpentine belt at a great price and with very little wait! Great service and Dennis was excellent!

My daughter had run over something and we took it to one place that was still open...they wanted $2500. Once I got to looking at what they wanted to do to replace the lower radiator hose, I knew they were trying to stick it to us. So, I called C.A.R.S. cause they will tow it and I couldnt get into town. The tow cost $100...😜...but fixing the car...a little over $300. A $2,000 difference and no one trying to claim other things were wrong for more money. Now... we are happy with what they did. 😁

State Vehicle Inspection- first visit failed, service writer advised me on what needed to be done and politely offered to complete a second inspection at no cost.Second visit had a different guy at the counter and asked for MY NAME. He couldnt associate my name with my wifes car because her name hadnt changed yet. Admittedly, this caused alot of confusion from which the conversation deteriorated and would never recover. When I asked about the previous charge the guy said he had no record and the vehicle was under some other name. What? After a brief heated exchange I told him I wont be back and he told me that would be fine.Long story short, this guy had a short fuse and needs to stay in the back. If you are the owner, hire someone who understands customer service to run your front counter.

C.A.R.S. has been servicing my car for several years now and they have always done a great job. Being a single woman I have to be able to trust the mechanics that take care of my car. My car is a 2005 so I have to maintain it and C.A.R.S. is the place I go.

This was the 3rd shop I called about my Nissan and the 1st to offer to look at it for free. Dennis was extremely patient with me (I called that man so many times with questions and this was before giving the ok to start work) and answered my questions. The work was fast (less that 24hrs after the ok) and I left feeling much safer driving than when I came. The price was reasonable and fair. If I had to, I would return again. Well, I have just had an excellent experience with Dennis, Brian, and all the CARS staff. They were extremely professional and helpful. I went in for brake repair, water pump, coolant reservoir replacement, etc. on a 2001 Chevy Malibu. They showed me all the issues and fixed my car at a great price. Dennis the owner even drove me to work today ! The customer service is the best I have ever experienced in my life. The waiting area is very clean with comfortable leather couches. My husband has taken both our cars to be serviced by this company. He had repairs done which were done correctly, in a timely manner and for an affordable price. Ive had oil changes done. Something as simple as a oil change is not always done the correct way, however mines was done correctly and all of my fluids were topped off as well. My car was riding very smoothly. If your looking for a dependable, reliable, and trustworthy automotive business I suggest using this company. It doesnt get any better.

DO NOT under any condition take your car to these dishonest folks. They claim they will Help you but then they give you estimate of over 400.00 more than any place in time. Charge you a ridiculous amount to give you an estimate of the so called work, lie about what needs to be done and even how much a tow is-the tow truck provided the $$ amount. Please stay away from this place unless you want ripped off. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

My son was stranded on I-45 between Dallas and Houston. I found C.A.R.S. online and they had good reviews so I called them. I spoke with the owner, Dennis Mendoza. He could not have been more calming and helpful! He immediately jumped in and started helping this panicked Mother. Even though he has a towing service he uses, he started making calls on my behalf to find a towing company that was closer to my son to see if he could help save some money. They picked up my son and got him and his truck into the shop. Dennis kept me posted on the progress and even gave me his cell phone number in case I needed to reach him after the shop was closed. They got my sons truck fixed quickly and at a good price. Dennis was honest, upfront and make me feel great about the entire experience. I would highly recommend C.A.R.S.!

She makes sure that all is transparent and with full knowledge of the customers. The owner/boss is ethical and tries his best to make sure that the customer receives only 5 star service. The mechanics who work on the vehicles are likewise. My vehicles operate at their best because C.A.R.S. Conroe keeps them operating at their best. Five Stars in my experience.

My AC went out yesterday went to get a AC diagnosis and the outcome was pretty bad for my budget. The fact that they explained and showed me what’s going on with my car was an awesome experience. Went home they send me a 3D video of the parts that were bad showed my husband and we decided to go ahead and go to this location . After completing the state inspection of my diesel Touareg, they went an extra mile to re-attach the rear turn signal housing which I was unable to do. It was done without charge though the task was somewhat involved. You will probably notice a difference in customer service too.January 2020I will continue to bring my vehicle here because they are trustworthy and its like dealing with friends or neighbors.

Deserves ZERO stars! We were traveling from Las Vegas to Conroe and had the check engine light come on. I explained to Dennis that 5 months earlier we had the same problem and AAmco Transmissions in Las Vegas replace the throttle positioning sensor. I expressed my concern that we were in a hurry to get back to Las Vegas and he called me with a $1100 quote and told me that AAmco had never replaced anything and that the ENTIRE throttle body needed to be replaced. I agreed at first and then second guessed it. Thank GOD I did!!We made it back to Las Vegas and replaced at no charge. I have seen multiple reviews where CARS dont charge for a diagnostic. They charged me $120.00 and then when I called to ask about this... Dennis became very defensive and told me he didnt have time for this, even hung up on me!? STAY AWAY not a good honest place to do auto business!!!

CARS always does a great job. I have taken my truck there multiple times for oil changes, tire rotations and repairs and work is completed in a timely manner. All work is thoroughly explained and I have had no surprises. I have also taken over several of our fleet vehicles for repairs and had the same experience. They even now have a great roadside assistance program you should check out.

Great service from these folks. They took the time to show me issues with my car and explain what they would do to correct the issue. All of the staff was very nice and it was a pleasure doing business with them. I will be returning for any future maintenance work.

They where very respectful and finished in a really timely matter. Great prices and would always come back if I had problems with my car. Has a dart board in the waiting room thought that was awesome

The customer service here is amazing. The people at C.A.R.S. Conroe treat you wonderful, welcoming, and they are knowledgeable about their products & services that they offer. They will work with you hand and hand for each client to make sure your needs are met. I came to get leaks fixed; but they are truthful and honest about the questions and answers you are looking for mechanical repairs. They told me their suggested recommendations on what needs fix immediately, soon or later in the future. And if you come in to get something fix and it turns out you need to leave it their for a few days, they will drop you off at your home if you live within a certain radius. Would definitely recommend this place.

I have found my go-to shop! I love the customer service here, and Cassandra is wonderful! From calling in just moments after they opened with a poorly described issue to pricing out different options and the best plan of action, its clear that they take pride in their business and their service. Im glad to have found them!

Great Service!! Stopped by for a check engine light preventing me from getting emissions test. Mike and his team went above and beyond. Mike had to text me about an additional repair that needed to be completed and he included photos, so I had proof of the needed repair. He explained to me the issues with my vehicle and gave me a price quotes upfront. I had called 2 Ford dealerships and went to another mechanic none of them were as helpful as Mike and his team. Great waiting area with WiFi also.

Oh my goodness what can I say?! TERRIBLE! My daughter and son-in law bought a vehicle from them that had been repaired that someone had to leave there because they couldnt afford to pay for. They cashed my 1800 dollar check at my bank the next day! Should have known something then. What reputable business does this? My son-law drove it one day and had to take it back. They wanted 400 more dollars to fix something with the motor. That still wasnt the problem! They assured them it was the computer....NOT! They STILL HAVE the car with nothing resolved. My daughter has been so patient and asked the owner to please call them and he will not return their calls. What kind of man and business does not stand behind their business. Its now in the DAs hand and Amy Davis consumer reporter from channel 2. So sad that someone could do this to a family with 3 children that just needs a car.

Third time going here. Compared to other facilities nearby, this is the best one by far. They always complete the job quickly, allowing me to get in and out without much wait. No problems whatsoever so far with them.

I went to C.A.R.S. for an oil change and state inspection in August, 2016. The lobby is very clean and comfortable, and with free WiFi, a great place to wait while your car is being serviced. The people were all friendly and professional. Ill definitely be a repeat costumer. TIP: check their website for coupons (bottom right of home page). I was able to get $8 off my state inspection!

It’s been a stressful couple of weeks. I had 3 days till my inspection sticker expired. I popped into C.A.R.S. To get it done only to find that I didn’t have my current insurance card with me (having my 2 little ones on tow). As I stressfully carried my kids back out to the car, an employee stopped me to suggest a few ways I could get a copy without having to leave.Long story short, great customer service, quick and friendly! Just what I needed in a tough time :)

This place is great. Theyre always very professional and nice. I dont know much about cars myself but they always take the time to explain everything to me. Highly recommend.

**Highly Recommend** The owner & staff go above and beyond to diagnose & repair. My car (with over 200k mi) quit on me and they sent a tow truck, got me home and worked with me to get me back on the road. Renee, Mike & Dennis (owner) are GREAT to deal with, answering all of my questions and explaining in laymans terms what I needed to know. I usually go to the Spring location, which is a great group as well, but my first experience with the Conroe C.A.R.S. was exceptional.

Ive been coming to C.A.R.S. for the last couple years. Great service and they have the friendliest staff Im always in and out theres never a wait. They never upscale me and Im a woman, I love that about them! I most definitely recommend them for your vehicle services!
