A few months ago, I brought in a Chrysler 300c with a dead drivers side headlight (I replaced the headlight and it wasnt working still. I had a feeling what was wrong and I was too lazy to do it myself.) and an ac that just needed filled up. The AC was done correctly and it was all good.The headlight on the other hand- is why Im writing this. They recommended a whole replacement of multiple key components of the electrical and lighting system including getting a whole new assembly for the headlight. They quoted me aprox $1500.I was not gonna pay that much so I decided to do it myself. The issue was a $70 dollar ballast and maybe 2 hours of labour.

Had an appointment scheduled for a month out. Asked if they wanted to see my truck. They didn’t want to see it. He said he could do the work it’s all good right? Wrong. Dead wrong. Ended up not doing the work because he’s a wimp and didn’t want to deal some rusty bolts. The wife was super nice and friendly though. The guy had a mean mug. And was not happy when I would call him about the truck.

One of the best auto repair shops in town. They are fair priced, and what youre paying is worth the outstanding work that is being done. Not only do the mechanics do the requested work, but they also check over youre entire car to make sure nothing else is wrong or needs fixed. If something does need fixed, Chrissy, the best office manager there is, will draw up an estimate and let you know how much it would be to fix, and also answers any questions and concerns you may have. Not only does State Street Auto fix your cars mechanically, they can also do any type of body work and repairs to make your car look brand new. Also, you cant forget about the best part of the State Street Auto Family, the shop mascot, Sadie. She is one of the most well behaved and laid back dogs I have ever come across. Most people would be worried about their dog darting out the door, but Ms. Sadie just lays around and greets customers once in awhile. Overall, going to State Street Auto will be the best decision of your life. They truly make you feel that youre apart of the State Street Auto family, whether it be your first visit or your hundredth.

State Street Auto always goes above and beyond to service my needs, which are sometimes immediate. They usually take care of me quickly, their work is A-1, and at a fair price. My experience is not only recent, but spans years of time, so this should count for something of value to those looking for an honest, and trust-worthy place to take your vehicle. I recommend giving them a try! To the other reviewers listed here that have names that sound like theyre still living in some former Soviet block country, do you even know where the hell Conneaut, Ohio is? You definitely have a case of mistaken identity with this excellent auto repair shop! To Google, I say, do your homework! Do not take ur engine to get rebuilt by this shop it takes months which took me more than 4 months to get my car done then after I installed the engine back car was running fine and after 4 days got a engine knock ..I tried being nice with him to fix it but he refused to fix it, so now federal will be involved..

I’ve heard good things about this shop at first, so I took my car and gave it a shot. My car was getting repaired and when I picked up the car, the next day it started to have mechanical problems. That’s why I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone, the mechanic refused to fix my car. You’ve lost a customer sir.

My mother-in-law took her car in for an alignment and she was told her car needed all new ball joints and a sway bar. They quoted her $500 just for parts. In reality all it needed was one ball joint, and all new ball joints is about $200 not $500. I hate scum like this.

The owner of the shop takes his time to repair my car, and he didn’t repair it properly, my car was still having issues. Overall, a very horrible experience with this shop, would not recommend.

Took my car to this shop to get it repaired but it seemed like he was using it as a storage, it felt like my car was using this shop as a storage, it took a while to get my car running, and after I got my car, it started to have issues after couple days of repair. In addition, I wouldn’t recommend at all.
