Over priced, added things to my bill that didnt need replaced. They told me $5,000 to fix everything in my vehicle, took it for a second opinion and they fixed it for $1,300. I showed the other garage the printed summary from Lake Erie and they were gagged. Do not recommend, they over charge and try to take advantage.

Went for the first time at their new location on West Main Road for an oil change yesterday. They did an amazing job with that building - Such a nice, cozy waiting area and I was extra-surprised with the large selection of toys and even a Little Tikes castle for my 2-year-old daughter to keep occupied with. I was also impressed with the safety inspection performed on my truck and the recommendations they made for future services; They actually made sense and werent pushy like car salesmen. Ill definitely be back for future oil changes and other maintenance items!

Went to them for a second opinion on my car. They were patient, kind and took time to explain things and help me decide how to move forward with needed repairs.I wasnt sure if I was being ripped off by a competitor and they were more than happy to help me.Their service was reasonably priced and I felt they went above and beyond to help me.I will be using them in the future as I like the fact that they have loaner vehicle and shuttle service available. They also have financing available for the big jobs.Super convenient location, right on Route 20 in Conneaut just west of the hospital. Clean, comfy, free coffee while you wait, plenty of games for the kids to play if you have to bring them along, nice touch. Staff was friendly and caring and joking with one another, made for a nice atmosphere. They moved several cars in and out while I was there! I liked seeing them work so efficiently!

I usually have my husband do all mechanical work on my vehicles. When I told him about the oil change deal, he said to do it, because he couldnt even do it for such a good price! Comfortable waiting room, friendly staff. My low tire light was on when I arrived, and I never asked for air in my tires, but they kindly aired them up, and also let me know about other things I will need to address quickly for safety, struts, rotors, and tires. I appreciate the extra attention, and will be a return customer!

My first time at this new shop. Had taken my vehicles to the other shop. Gone Saturday to have everything checked and all I needed to have done. Very pleasant people and very clean and homey waiting room. Yes, will go there to have work done.

On my way home to NY, my cars exhaust decided to blow. In a scramble, I quickly googled the nearest mechanic and stumbled across this place. I came in all flustered for obvious reasons and because I needed to be back to NY by tonight, and asked them if their was anyway they could help me and my family get back on the road as soon as possible. The very nice woman behind the counter simply smiled and said she would see what could be done. A few seconds later the mechanic came in and told us he would squeeze us in to get us back on the road. Not only did he do that, they worked their magic for a quick but safe fix to at least get us home (which is what we asked for). Never before have I met such a nice group of mechanics. None of them were condescending (I am a woman) to me and the mechanic who was doing the repairs kept us updated and, I felt, was very honest in his diagnostics. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs anything done to their vehicle.

Wonderful experience! The service was done properly & efficiently. Ive had the same service done at a dealership in Erie on two different occasions and I had to wait 3 to 4 hours each time. Not at Lake Erie Automotive :) Ill keep coming back! Also, its a nice touch that the waiting area is very comfortable & inviting.

I went there the other day for a head light that was out that advance Auto couldnt get to. They got me right in the next morning for the light and an oil change. They are very friendly and affordable. The receptionist even offered me coffee while I was waiting for my car. I know the mechanics there are great and I will be returning!

Most unprofessional people I ever dealt with..called..girl said.. dont need an appt. just come in..so took granddaughters car in at 11..they close at six..so about 5:45 we called..asked what was progress..they said ohh we got busy.. havent even looked at it!were going to lock up and go ..no call nothing..told them wait for me.. Ill be in to pick up car..when got there..said ohh we had software problem..but phone was working cause I called there..Was my first trip..will be my last!!

I am very disappointed in this facility. I stopped with a flat tire and asked for it to be looked at. I was told no we are to busy. I then said can you at least put air in my tire so I can get to another place. I was again told no. I work in Conneaut and live in Pennsylvania. Absolutely no help were they. I went to Emus Automotive who went above and beyond to help me. After burying my son in September and returning to work, I have seen many people being helpful. However, not at your facility. One disappointed person.Since I am not able to reply to the owner... I will say this. I takes a few minutes to fill air up in a tire that one person can hurry up and do. So saying you do not have manpower or time when it takes a few minutes is unacceptable. Even the people I work with stated that was wrong that you could not even put air in the tire. Many recommended other garages that go out of their way.

I was stranded at LOVES gas station on one of the hottest Sundays as I was heading to Michigan . There were many kind people trying to help me, we try to jump the battery, nothing, try to push start it(standard car)no good so I had it towed to Lake Erie Auto. On Monday when they reopened I tried to explain the problem and they said they would do their best to help me out. Well the ladies at the desk were kind and helpful,trying to find my part for the car ,they found one and went and got it so I would be on my way. The macanics were the best ,hard working and kind. In the same hour thy fixed my car they helped an elderly couple with there transmission it was very low and would have blown up if they drove any farther. What a great company!! Thank you Mr Young and your great staff.

My tire blew out on the highway and AAA towed me to Lake Erie Auto Service because it was close by. That turned out to be super lucky for me because they helped me get back on the road the next day and feel confident that my car was safe for the 13 hour drive ahead! They looked at my car at 6:30pm even though they officially closed at 6, ordered a new tire and had it ready to put on by 9am the next morning when they opened. Jamie worked on my car and went out of his way to make sure I felt confident in his work by showing me what he was doing and test driving it for me. In a rough situation, Lake Erie Auto Service was a bright spot! To top it all off, my total bill was unbelievably low!
