This place prevents more child abuse than anyone could ever imagine. It is truly incredible. I am the sole parent of a 2.5 year old little boy and I have no living family to help me. After I was in an accident and was too injured to take care of my son, I had no choice but to do the right thing and bring him here. This place is so warm and loving. It looks more like a home than anything and the children sleep in bedrooms where theyre warm and feel loved and the staff knows exactly what each individual child needs to comfort them. I have been taking my son here every month for about a year and a half for a 48 hour stress break. Like clockwork. He has come to expect it and gets super excited to go to the nursery. I dont know what Id do without this place. Every single city should have a place like this. If you have any fear in taking your child here, dont. I did at first, but in their 30 years of operation theyve only ever had to turn a child over to CPS twice. Just 2 times in 30 years because of abandonment. They are here to help you, and you will get your child back. They are here to help. If you have ever considered donating to this place, I cannot think of a better cause to donate your money to than this place. They have had and continue to have a tremendous impact on me and my sons life.

Weve had the opportunity to contribute to the Bay Area Crisis Nursery and get to know many of their staff and volunteers. It is an incredible organization that provides essential services to parents with young children that are in need of help.
