I live in an area with lots of spiders and other bugs, and while I dont want to totally eradicate them (I know theyre good to have around), Im squeamish about finding big spiders inside the house. I requested a quote from Mohawk and Marty responded within a couple of hours and set up a free inspection. While he was here, I mentioned I was nervous we might also have a yellowjacket nest as Id seen them hovering around an area where my toddler often plays. He didnt hesitate to get in the crawlspace and take a look, reassure me there was no nest and explain that they were likely looking for food, and even did a spray of the area to eliminate potential food sources for them. I am a property manager and have worked with bed bug infestations. Long story short, we recently took a trip to Hawaii and after returning, I started to get bit by spiders. After spraying, I continued to get but and feared that we somehow possibly brought back bed bugs from our trip. I know what to look for and could not find a trace of any evidence but that was not enough to calm my nerves. While getting some work done, we learned there were a few dead rats as well as droppings under our house. I reached out to Mohawk Pest Control and Marty responded promptly. He offered to come by the house for a free inspection the next day and even removed the dead ones for us too. Weve been using Mohawk Pest Control for basic maintenance at our home every year towards the end of summer we get ants and spiders were a constant before. This past service Marty was was performing a normal spray of the home and he ended up seeing wasps flying out from under some spanish tiles on the roof. He ended up grabbing his ladder and removing a nest about the size of roughly a football. He didnt have a bee suit at the time so Marty sprayed it with some knockdown liquid and swept up all the little bodies. During the entire service Marty kept my wife and I in the loop and was super informative with what he was doing, how he was doing it, and what he would be using to solve our issues.I will definitely end up being a life long customer of Marty and Mohawk Pest Control.
