An institute such as this is only as good as the people it hires. The guy Derek I had to see here because of probation didnt have the decency to sign a paper saying I dont need to see him. Being more concerned with lining his pockets with my time and money, he would rather sit in silence or speak his mumbo jumbo than bargain on getting another patient. The complete inability to hold a normal conversation without any attempts at some sort of giving of advice, advice not asked for, was astounding. Fortunately I didnt have to go here for too long. I wouldnt be surprised at more incompetent staff at this location and this business

Eliot Center is probably the best bet for those with extreme psychoses (which I have witnessed in the waiting room), but not for those who seek sound encouragement.Eliot Center (EC) administration does not care if you are a good match for any one of its counselors. In the several years Ive been there, I only matched well with one counselor; she left - wonder why. I since related best with CS, the medical prescriber, who is not even classified as a therapist.I am now told by EC admin that if I dont agree to see a therapist (even though a not a good match for me), I can no longer see or be treated by CS, who in my opinion, has been a better match for me than any EC (therapist?) by far. DO NOT SEEK COUNSEL HERE !!

Dont bother. They dont care about their patients. Save yourself time and look for another facility.From the receptionist (who especially doesnt care) to the prescribers who dont pay attention to their own system, this place is run worse than a 1990s era psych institute. Im pretty sure I could slit my wrist in the waiting room and they would just be annoyed that they had to dial 911.Just dont bother coming here. Find a better place.

I am a patient here and they never answer or refill my medications which then put me in dangerous medical situations and having to pay for ER visits out of pocket. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.UPDATE: recently I couldn’t get in contact with the therapist that I was recommended because the receptionist Debby (or Debbie) told be that She did not work there. So I had to spend a little while figuring out the mess myself and finally figuring out the extension to talk to the therapist directly because it is not easily available and had to make a therapy appointment later then what I was originally told and expected. Ridiculous.

This place was a benefit during the time

They are, quite simply, the best.
