Awesome gym! The obstacles are so fun to try, and the trainers are all very encouraging and knowledgeable. This is unlike any gym you have ever been too! Brian is a really cool guy. I highly recommend taking the time to go here. The mixture of parkour and ninja obstacles is a ridiculous amount of fun, plus you meet lots of fun people too!

So I just stopped in months ago to check this place out. Being a huge fan of Ninja warrior. The place looked awesome. The prices seemed very reasonable and once I find the time Im going back to start on a few parkour courses. You are never too old to start!

APEX is A+ in everything. Alan and his team are both kid and parent-friendly in how pro they are in running the facility. The space itself is well-maintained and regulated in terms of safety first and foremost. There are also options in terms of waiting for parents, whether they need a quiet room to get work done or want a bird’s eye view of all the action. And that action... in a word, WOW! The skills these kids (and adults) learn is astounding. This is our family’s first and only experience of parkour and we can’t imagine going anywhere else. Lastly, if you want a rad birthday party experience, highly, highly recommend! Our twins just had one at APEX and they immediately wanted another. The team did a phenomenal job of integrating all the kids, so no one felt left out.Overall: APEX-cellent.Thank you!

Really nice people they teach you every thing you need to know. They are always roaming around during open gym time in case you need help. They are really fun and nice to kids. They are about keeping you safe when doing parkour, but still let you do what you want.

Huge kudos to Apex! Our 7 year old twins went yesterday and loved it so much that we drove back today. However, there was a mistake on one of the pages on the website and we showed up at the wrong time... Instead of turning us away, the wonderful people at Apex offered us a class (along with the other family who saw the wrong time on the site) right there on-the-spot.Great class, happy kids, and we will happily return!Update, weve been coming here for a year now and find the coaches and facilities amazing. We are so so happy here!

As stated in a previous review the gym is adequate, it’s the staff and the system I have a problem with. The staff treated me as if I was a burden to them. The gym works in a skill set system to determine what level a participant is at and what activities they are allowed to participate in based on their current band standing. Well, my son, who is 6 and brand new to Parkour, was only being involved in very beginner skill set lessons (think summersaults), apparently these are not the skills needed to advance, as we were to find out. My son was motivated and talked about how he wanted to advance. I sent him off to each class simply encouraging him to continue working hard, following their instruction and trust that he would get there. Finally, after months of sending him off with this advice and no skill set advancement, I decided to ask the staff what was required to achieve the next level band, as he and I were frustrated that he had not yet advanced. They acted annoyed at having to inform me the beginner moves needed to advance; something called a box hang, 2 pull ups and some other skill (I don’t remember what it’s called). I asked if they were teaching him these skill sets and explained our frustration with this stagnant development. In a manner of arrogance, I was informed that it was up to him to learn these skills at home on his own. I don’t even have the capacity to help him learn these skills much less the understanding how to teach him. I thought that they must be teaching him some of these skills, but in watching his workouts, I didn’t see any of these activities included in his repetitive gym routine. My son is 6 years old, he needs help and coaching. I thought that was what I was paying for. Not arrogant replies leaving me feeling like an inadequate father. I don’t know Parkour, I played baseball, soccer, tennis and ice hockey. My son wanted this and so I was happy to sign him up and pay the cost for the sake of his development. I found that the cost wasn’t paying for him to do much more than summersaults! I am very frustrated and annoyed and wish that we had a better experience for the sake of my son.

One of few parkour gyms around, Apex is a top notch spot to train at. Alongside many set Urban parkour style structures, they have an Air Trak, and more than a few Ninja Warrior obstacles set up for training (read: a lot). Staff and coaching is knowledgeable and I recommend them strongly just for having open workout times daily. You can always get more out out of training here!

My 10 year old has never liked team sports like baseball, soccer etc. So we were excited to support him when he wanted to try parkour. How great to have an alternative for kids that centers on challenging yourself and personal bests! The coaches are awesome role models for the kids. The amazing, spacious gym looks nothing like youve ever seen! It offers lots of spaces for coaches to divide the class up and work with small groups, rotating them through different skills. We started with the 3-class intro. package and then signed our son up for half day camp all summer long! We love how he is building strength, resilience and confidence! Our son doesnt watch American Ninja Warrior on TV but has watched lots of parkour videos on YouTube, so even if your kids arent into the show, they might really enjoy this activity. I expect well be booking his birthday party here. What a neat place that has classes for both kids and adults plus has open gym times--glad to be spending lots of family time at APEX Movement Norcal!
