I called and asked if they took payment plans, front desk receptionist Giselle said no I said okay thank you and hung up. I go to their website and saw they offered a discount plan, called back and asked if they had a discount plan, front desk receptionist said yes. I then asked why she didn’t say that, she said it’s because I didn’t asked. I educated her that if a potential new patient who doesn’t have insurance is calling asking about payment plans you then should tell them everything you offer to help that patient. She was very rude arguing back and forth with me and was highly unprofessional. I told her I wasn’t dealing with her and asked if they had other locations she then said with an attitude they had locations all over. I called the concord mills location and had better service with the front desk receptionist there. Do yourself a favor and go there. I will be calling Monday and asking to speak to the manager to report her.

They have scheduled my daughter 3 times with the wrong doctor for her to get her braces off, I get told its an honest mistake???? She says I can reschedule you, let me see when Doctor Bond is available... oh he dont have an open appointment til February 2021, they told my daughter in October that she would get her braces off December the 18th, well guess what 3RD TIME THEY HAVE SCHEDULED HER WITH THE WRONG DOCTOR YET AGAIN, SO NOW FOR THEIR HONEST MISTAKE FOR THE 3RD TIME IN A ROW MY DAUGHTER HAS TO PAY FOR IT AN WAIT TIL FEBRUARY 2021 to get her braces off.😡😡😡😡

Not friendly like their name implies, not professional and ALWAYS an issue when we come to this office! Ive tried giving the benefit of a doubt by coming back for them to redeem themselves yet sadly disappointed. In the mist of COVID they are making patients wear mask and stay outside wait yet their own receptionists are not wearing mask and too busy on their cell phones to make sure they do their job correctly (i was given wrong confirmation time, they forgot to have me sign paperwork) I definitely do NOT recommend this place and will be changing dentist.

Have been coming to this location for three years since we moved to Concord. The entire staff is very professional, friendly and very much like family. One of my favorites is Chris, our hygienist.Also, I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. The premises are always clean and tidy. I love the fact they call you and text you to remind you of your appointment. That really helps when you have such a busy life!

The staff and Dentist at Friendly Dental of Concord are absolutely amazing. They are personable and very good at setting you at ease during your procedures. Dr. Binita was fantastic!! She helped me focus my energy on breathing instead of on what she was doing and I almost fell asleep while she was working on me. I didn’t feel a thing!! I would recommend everyone to her.

This is the nicest group of people I have encountered since I moved here to Concord. They went from being complete strangers to family in just one visit. Not only do I enjoy my appointments but my daughter does as well. They are very friendly and take good care of their patients. I highly recommend any and everyone to stop by for a quick check up, I promise they will not disappoint. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the nicest woman you will ever meet. Coming and going has what I call the Cheers effect. If you remember the show then you remember the theme song. They give me that feeling everytime. They make your teeth look good while giving you a reason to smile and you cant get that everywhere you go. They are the best!

Very bad experience in my life

I was very unhappy with how they treated my daughter. While the people at the desk and the hygienist was friendly they put my two young children (8 years and 5 years old) three from rooms apart from each other then told me I could only stay in one room with one child. So knowing my daughters anxiety at the dentist I stayed with her. The dentist Dr Binitia was very impatient with my daughters anxiety and snapped at her more then once (she is 5 by the way). They then told me that they both needed fillings but because my daughter was to difficult she didnt want to deal with her. They referred me to another dentist for her then scheduled an appointment for my son for a filling. I found out after he got the filing that he didnt need them from out current dentist. They also wouldnt let me go in with him while he got the filings. Once I decided to go to another dentist it took awhile and several phone calls to get them to transfer their records. Overall not very friendly.

They made me feel so much better about go to the dentist. I would tell others about them and say that they make you feel better about seeing the dentist. Thank y’all so much.

They listened to my dads situation and were able to squeeze him into their schedule and do a tooth extraction. I came here because of the reviews and now understand why they have such great reviews. Keep up the good work!

I love this dentist I needed a lot of work and the dentist was able to get me in quickly and finished in 2 oappointments and I had 12 fillings and a deep cleaning. I love this dentist office they were able to help me save a tooth I potentially needed to have a root canal or be pulled the dentist also replaced me silver fillings with white! I would never go anywhere else!! Very polite staff and never to busy.

My father had an on-going 5 year issue concerning his tongue being irritated by teeth but no dentist could seem to find a resolution. Dr. Binita took a lot of time to carefully listen and then came up a series of options no one else had recommended before. We are very pleased with this dental practice and would highly recommend them.

I had a terrible experience at this dentist. First off they tried to tell me I had gum disease and that i couldnt get a basic cleaning every again. Then the told me I had 12 cavities. I went back home to my dentist and they checked my gums and I dont have gum disease AT ALL and I only have 2 cavities! So if you want to go to this dentist and get diagnosed wrong and get dental work done that is not necessary then by all means visit them! But I will never ever visit a Friendly Dental office again!

The receptionist (Spanish lady with red long ponytail) was nice; however, the dental assistant (black fair-skinned lady who wears an up-do ponytail w/purple scrubs) who cleaned my daughter teeth did a horrible job! She left the grit all in her mouth and visible on her teeth. She was suppose to return on future appointments to fix a cavity so I mentioned how I’d prefer the least abrasive procedure being that my daughter was only 12 & never been under anesthesia- the dental assistant responded with sarcastic remarks & didn’t write anything I said in notes. It led me to tell the dentist herself ( Middle-aged middle eastern woman w/long ponytail to the back) & her response was nonchalant & silent. She didn’t ensure me everything was going to be handled with caution & care. She just nodded her head & smirked. I want to feel like my child is in the right hands with the upmost care & this office didn’t give off that vibe so I cancelled all future appointments & am looking elsewhere. Besides, if they can’t properly clean her teeth why would I allow them to perform work on her teeth??

My first trip to Friendly Dentist, they found a cavity. I am terrified of any needles or procedures. The staff was very patient with me during this. I was EXTREMELY surprised after this procedure was finished because I didnt feel ONE thing at all. I didnt even know he used a needle until I asked about it. This will be my dentist for as long as possible so I definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had a horrible experience at Friendly Dental yesterday. Dr Binitia who I saw a couple of weeks ago for the first time who at the time was very up front about my treatment plan and very knowledgeable about my current teeth issues that she made me feel comfortable and ease my anxiety about dental procedures. I completed a root canal last week and was returning to them for the tooth prep after the root canal but I had canceled the appt once because my mouth and tooth was still very sensitive after the root canal procedure. Yesterday I was treated horrible during the procedure by Dr. Binitia because I could feel the drill during the tooth prep which means I need to go back to the root canal doc and have them check it out. Well she couldn’t get over the fact that it was hurting and I could feel it and for some reason it made her angry that this was happening and she took it out on me. She was rude and was talking to me like I was a child and stupid. She jerked everything out of my mouth and refused to fill the cavity on the tooth in front of the root canal tooth that was already numbed prior to this happening. I was shaking from the pain why her and her assistant continued to grill me about it being no way I could feel that and wanting to know when and why did I contact the root canal dentist prior to this procedure. They stood in front of me continuing to just rip into me while I was trying to leave because I was embarrassed and mortified about what just happened that I wanted to leave ASAP. I feel defeated right now because I thought I finally found a dentist I liked and really cared about helping me with my dental issues to only be treated horrible after I could feel pain during a procedure that I should not be able to. I left there crying and sobbed for hours and no dental experience should ever leave you feeling like this no matter what. We are a military family so I move often which means different cities with different doctors and I found this dentist from the reviews online which were positive until I researched a little further yesterday and found that I was not the only one she has treated like this in the past. Jordan at the front desk is awesome and the dental hygienist who does the gum check is wonderful but after what happened to me yesterday I am sitting here with my tooth still throbbing 2 weeks later and absolutely terrified to go anywhere now to have my dental work completed. If I could give zero stars I would because this visit yesterday changed how I view dentist and I will never trust another one.

I have been coming here for a while now so, coming from me that speaks volume! considering the high level of aniexty I have when it comes to dentists. I can actually say al the staff have made my experience a pleasant one. They not only made me feel welcome but they took the time to accommodate me due to my anxiety. Dr. Banita Changkakoty is a WONDER dentist her spirit and level of energy is amazing. Along with being seen in a timely manner I would recommend anyone to make a visit here.

Not the best experience. They are very friendly but I would not say they are very professional. I had to wait for 40 minutes past my appointment in the waiting room before getting called back which was frustrating. Then someone who had walked in after me got called back first but once I got inside the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very friendly. I found out I had a few cavities that needed to be filled and they were able to get me an appointment same day to come back to fill them which was nice. While getting the cavities filled I felt slightly uneasy since it seemed the hygienist was new. She was having difficulty getting these clamps around my teeth and eventually I was left in the room with my mouth full of equipment while she had to get someone else to help her. I was not sure why the dentist was not in the room to help her as she clearly was not experienced. I was able to get past that and give the new girl the benefit of the doubt and figured everything would be fine. Then when the dentist arrived to begin filling the cavities I was very uncomfortable with the fact they kept pausing their work to discuss the show that was playing on the television. I was concerned because they were drilling my teeth but it seemed like they were more focused on what was going on with the latest episode of their favorite show. A week after the filling I was experiencing extreme sensitivity on one of the cavities they filled. I decided to go get a second opinion at a different office and came to find out the filling needed to be replaced because they had left a gap between the filling and the tooth. Needless to say I will not be back and I will be going to a different office.

The customer service here is terrible, they are very rude and disrespectful to patients who dont speak English very well. There is absolutely no order in this place. Parents--do not let them make you stay outside--go in the room with your child, I have heard some horror stories.

Absolutely HORRIBLE and frustrating experience!! My 12 year old child came in for what was supposed to be a root canal, Dr Williams made the decision to try to save it and did a filling instead, as soon as he was finished my child started experiencing pain, I took him back to the office not even an hour after leaving only for Dr Williams to confirm he did need a root canal but that their office DOES NOT do root canals and referred me to a different office that didn’t have appointments available for 3 MONTHS! meanwhile my child is in extreme pain, the dr recommended “salt water rinses” and over the counter tylon & ibuprofen which did NOTHING, I called back multiple times in the course of over a week and told them my child was in extreme pain they prescribed antibiotics which again DID NOTHING to relieve my child’s pain who at this point could not eat or sleep properly. My child had NO pain before this procedure was done they put him through pain and suffering and didn’t care to do anything about it I DO NOT recommend anyone coming here since it seems they care more about the insurance money than what’s best for their patients!
