I am incredibly disappointed with the service I have received after one of their insured customers crashed into my car. If this is how they treat outside customers who they should be helping with a claim I can only imagine how horrible they are towards their loyal customers. I have been working on getting the repairs started on my car for almost 2 weeks now and have had to deal with nothing but rude people on each phone call. Rachel Coyle was assigned to my claim and I would have an easier time trying to get the president on the phone because she does not ever answer or return calls. I also had the displeasure of speaking with another woman at the call center whos name I cannot remember who gave me such an attitude when I was trying to inquire about getting a rental car. She also was very disrespectful and hung up the phone on me. I have been unfortunate enough to get into three separate car accidents all of which were not my fault but each time the other persons insurance was very helpful and got everything taken care of for me. Horace Mann has not done anything to help me in any way. I needed to call the auto body shop myself and set everything up with them. I also needed to set up the rental car myself. It has also taken way to long to get this whole process started. The other two incidents my car was in the shop within a matter of days and I had the insurance agents contacting me to make sure that they were taking care of me the best way possible. I was not trying to chase them down to get information. The way this company does business if very unprofessional and I am really just irritated that the person who hit me unfortunately had this horrible company as their insurance.
