Horrible company. They got billed by the city for all the missed pickups. They have a driver shortage because the dont hire drivers... Not directly. They want you to come sort trash in there facility first before you get a truck. Speaking of trash sorting, since you dont want to pick up yard waste and recycling... I just started mixing it all in with the regular trash... Have fun sorting that out. :)

Our Rumpke driver is THE best. He is always timely, stacks our bins for us, lays them down when its windy. I can always depend on him to do his job well. He is a big asset to his employer! Never had an issue with this company, which definitely cant be said for the company I used prior. Reasonable prices and good communication from Rumpke in regard to holidays etc.

We have been very pleased with our Rumpke service. They always make sure to put our trash can back where we set it at the end of the drive. We signed up for the automatic payments and it was very easy to complete this process When we have called into the offices the person we talk to is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Rumpke.

Excuses after excuses, every week you guys don’t pick up the yard waste. Than every week I have to call you guys to come out and do your job to pick up the yard waste. I have called numerous time and also left several reviews about this. Starting next week, if my yard waste does not get picked up I will be dropping off at your front door personally. I will also be getting members of the community together that have been having issues with you guys and going to the city to have you removed.

I have used this business for trash and recycle removal for many years. Up until very recently, they were prompt and very efficient. I suspect they’re like any other business - having problems getting dependable help. It would not surprise me if they changed to picking up recycling every other week. I am very surprised that they didn’t already do this in the winter time for yard waste. I only put out my cans when they are full to help the guys get done promptly.

Really dont understand why Etna Township switched services. Rumpke was always dependable, took everything and kept you well-informed on Holiday Pickup Schedules. The sad part is I had to learn it not through a newsletter but the day new trash bins and recycle tubs were dropped at the end of the driveway. Could have been better communication from the Township when they decided to switch services.

Use for our weekly trash service. Always on time. Never had a problem in the 2 1/2 years we have used them. Like how they remind us if our day changes due to a Holiday schedule.

Rumpke takes whatever we kick to the curb. They even took our old snow blower and dish washer. They make keeping our home clean and organized so much easier. When Ive interacted with their people, they have been totally professional and friendly. Ive lived in other cities where to get my trash picked up beyond just the one can I had to go to lengthy measures. With Rumpke it is 100% great customer service that makes it easy. They just plain rock!

Rumpkes word is about as valuable as the waste they remove. I have been a Rumpke customer for over 8 years within the same city. However, starting 2020-2021 the service has gone downhill incredibly fast. They are the most expensive waste service in my area, and they offer no recycling. They have missed more times in 2021 so far than they have missed in my entire 8 year journey with them.Just this week they missed my trash on Monday. I always take the trash out the Sunday night before. They always pick it up between 7-8am. I noticed it was still out there by 4pm so I called. The service rep told me to call back the next day because they were still out for service which was a gigantic waste of my time because I knew they missed my residence. Sure enough, they still missed it... so I call back the next day. They give me a broken promise saying its marked as a miss and that it will be picked up within 24-48 hours. Just say within 48 hours... however they couldnt do that either. So I call back on Thursday morning after they missed it again. The lady says she put a note out to the supervisor (wow now were talking...). That didnt help any because they missed it AGAIN! So I call back the following day and cancel my service. Rumpke Waste & Recycling service is garbage, pun intended. They tell you what you want to hear but they dont follow through. I am no longer going to give my money to companies who cant stand behind their service or what they say. I switched to Alpha Waste Removal since I am in OH. They are $60 flat rate / month versus Rumpke variable $100-110. Bye bye Rumpke. If you just picked up my trash when you promised to do so Id probably still be wasting money with you every month just to avoid the hassle of cancelling.To anyone reading this, please check out other trash providers. It doesnt get much worse than Rumpke, at least for my area.

Very satisfied with Rumpled. The guys who work the truck are always professional. The trucks are quiet and clean. The guys always leave my container, that I rent from Rumpke, is always sit back in my drive and not just thrown across the road .

Anti discrimination training would be beneficial to the office staff. Education on the benefits of diversity in the workplace is necessary. Coaching on approaching all situations with an open mind and free from judgement would make it much more welcoming.

They have missed garbage pick up days 3-4 times now. Garbage just sits out in the neighborhood for days at a time.Update: 4/1/2021 - Another week, another no show. Garbage continues to blow around the neighborhood. This is disgusting.

Rumpke clearly has poor management. They have missed our collection consistentlyIts basic trash removal! Recycling was 1 day late this week, trash is now 2 days late. This is now the new reality of our neighborhood. Pretty hard to keep a large community clean when we have no guarantee of trash collection anymore. 0/10. Update: trash service is now 5 days late, left 3 voice mails and spoke with the dispatcher. The absolute worse company in Columbus.

Ive been a customer for 29 years and this is one bill Ive never regretted having. They take most items(no tires, paint, chemicals, refrigerators without gas properly removed and tagged by licensed company) and with a call a few days ahead they do bulk pick up if larger items such as washers&dryers. I would recommend their services.

I cannot say enough good things when it comes to the work ethic of the young man who is on the back of the truck. He takes everything left out, double checks to make sure the recycling truck emptied their can, picks up anything dropped, always puts lids back on and places cans nicely back in place.

Rumpke will not pickup recycling at all here at the Aston Place Apartments that are right beside the containers they pickup they just leave it there. In my opinion they are extremely lazy workers. Even the trash dumpster gets so full its overflowing. Everything is overflowing and when they come back to back days they still leave all the trash and recycling that is right beside the bins and WONT pickup the big stuff. It just sits there for weeks, because their workers are so lazy that they wont pickup anything. I cant believe how lazy these people are.

We have had Rumpke service our city for many years. When I have a large item, I am putting in the trash, I call and speak with a Rumpke customer service representative to inform so they can assure the disposal of the item. They are always courteous, and respectful. I rent my large trash can from them and they replaced it after years of use. I used to buy trash cans that were smaller, so I needed two or three, and not near as sturdy in comparison, always lost the lids, so it worth every penny to rent a huge trash. We also have a large recycle trash can with lid, and I recycle more than I use to because it all fits in the can.

They normally arrive near the same time every week.An option to pay your bill is conveniently online.I do wish their recycling schedule information was included on their online website too.. The workers are so friendly. If they drop trash, they pick it up. Customer service was very nice in scheduling big item pick up.

Very courteous drivers , whenever I have been outside while they are collecting they always speak or wave . The office staff has been very courteous and helpful when I’ve had to call with a question or bulk pick up. Only once can I recall when they were a day late for pickup for regular trash/ recycle .

They are horrible. When they pickup fir the recycling bin things are left at the bottom of the can. Sometimes they do not pickup on the day it is scheduled. When they do pick up on the scheduled day it has been left on its side. The yard waste there has been a couple of times that they have not picked up on the day it is scheduled and also have left whatever they spill on the street. When they pickup the refuse container they leave the can in the middle of the street or tipped over on its side.

These guys do a great job. The Service Providers on the truck are courteous, professional and take the time to be respectful of the customers containers (e.g., leaving the empty containers upside down on rainy days to limit water accumulation). Thanks, guys!!

Did notice recently that in my subdivision (Worthington Trace/Westworth Village) pick was delayed and came next day but I can tell they missed Weathersfield Drive. Bag are still there today (Monday). They do a good job other than throw the lid rather than placing back on container. On windy days sometimes have to go looking for the lid. Plus sometimes it appears when in a hurry not all of the grass gets out of bottom f can so then I have to clean out because I am particular. Otherwise - good job. One other small item when they take use the electric arm to get the refuse could they put back down with lid closed. Sure that is tricky but again on rainy day I have to drain out the water.

I have heard many people complain about their trash collecting service. However, I think Rumpke does a great job. I have never had an issue with their service. I appreciate what they do.

The Rumke man who picks up our trash every week is always on time, very efficient, and very professional. He has more than once has gone th extra mile to help me get the trash out. I wish Rumple had recycling pickup in our area, but it doesnt.

I have been a Rumpke customer for over a decade and they have always offered the best collection service and customer service! They handle heavy flow holiday pick ups without issue! I follow the guidelines and bundle my bush trimmings and they collect it! The website informs me of any changes in collection related to holidays! And I appreciate Rumpkes commitment to the environment through their Recycling program!

Monday we got to meet a new worker I think his name is Patty but could be wrong. My son loves to watch the trucks when they come to our court. We never really had a worker talk to us before but my son was out in the yard and noticed he had Tweety Bird on the back of his truck and ran over to him and told my kiddo that he was keeping him save from Sylvester the car as he was tossing yard waste into the back of the truck. I hope you know the employee we are talking about or the truck at least. I just wanted to give him some Recognition and my son can’t wait to see our Rumpkee crew and the tweety bird again.

Cant complain for loading trash. Fork lift operator is really nice. You must scale before, and after loading. Scale house man was supposedly grumpy but he was nice to me.

I always prompt quality service. Very satisfied with this company.

Kudos on improving their service, despite the pandemic.PRIOR POST: Rumpke handles our weekly trash pick up. Our trash and/or recycling is missed on a regular basis. Since it’s a Friday pick up that gets missed, we can’t call until Monday, with a promised pick up by the following Tuesday. Then it’s only 3 days until the next pick up. Aggravating!! Problem reported repeatedly. Little improvement. No offers to improve service.

They have always Picked up my trash, and all other things without a hitch. and rarely do I have any clean up or chasing down garbage cans.

Rumpke is our weekly waste and recycling service.All the employees work very hard and I have noticed if they drop something they pick it up before continuing. They also have a very good team spirit. Some of the hardest working individuals in the city!

So far you have done a very good job. The only reasons I cant give a 5 is because you dont offer recycling in my area and youre charging a fuel surcharge when fuel is at the lowest prices it has been in years. Im assuming that you started charging the fuel surcharge back in 09, like many other companies did, but you havent stopped. Using fuel is just part of your business and shouldnt be an extra charge passed on to the customer this way. At least just up your normal prices and hide it that way.

Have no problems with the drivers, they seem very nice and always say Hi when we see them. havent had any problems with billing, easy to use. I like the fact the we get email updates when it is a Holiday and the days shift.

I worked there ..they are totally unorganized.which leaves their employees overworked, under appreciated, and sometimes confused....they need some help

We are new to Rumpke as Galena contracted with Rumpke starting back in Mayish. The timing of billing was a bit confusing and frustrated a lot of people. The only complaint that I had and its only happened once, so only time will tell is that the first trash pick up with Rumpke there was a trail of trash down our entire street. It was horrible. Its never happened again, but its left me shy of giving a perfect rating as it really was horrible and we live in a really manicured neighborhood. It made you wonder where was their pride in their work. But again, it only happened once and weve been content since then and for the value and only the one incident willing to give them 4 stars..

I know some of my neighbors dont think too highly of the service is you provide but I have never had any issues at all. Theyve always picked up my general refuse, and theyve also taken furniture as necessary and they take the yard waste. Never had an issue theyve always been on time, meaning the right day, and I think they do a great job.

I am actually an employee at Rumpke of Columbus starting today! However I have worked with them for years in the past needing dumpsters for commercial/residential construction and demolition. Ive never had a problem with Rumpke and their always hospitable.

I usually call to check with Rumpke first before I put anything out at the curb, they always work with me and are very accomdating.

I had your service at my home in Sunbury...When I found out my new community in Galena wasn’t using you, I reached out to them & told them how good you are & your rates are better. And, they switched to you!My only disappointment is that I have to pay a monthly fee here for my trash cart. I didn’t have to on 2 acres in Sunbury.

I have regular weekly trash pickup, the drivers are great. They don’t throw the trash cans in my yard, they set them down at the edge of the grass. Rumpke is a great company to do business with, I highly recommended them.

They do a good job. Put it out and they take it. Rap a mattress and they take. Old computers. Put it out, they take it. Good company to deal with.

Overall very satisfied. Sometimes (not terribly often) they do not come to pick up the garbage/recycling and you either have to drag cans back and forth or leave them sit out for extended periods of time.

They have been our sanitation service for 23 1/2 years. We have enjoyed good service with very few problems.

I don’t understand why we’re almost to 2021 and a waste management company does not pick up recycling at my location. I live less than 1 mile away from city limits on a major state route and can’t get them to pick up recycling. Instead, I need to take it to the nearest recycling dumpster, which is not close to my home. Makes absolutely no sense to me. Step it up Rumpke.

Rumpke is very reliable and consistent with their scheduled pickups. Always count of them for all types of pickups.

Would have given a 10, but workers are not considerate with non rumpke trash cans. I would purchase new ones that would be broken within a months time. So I ended up renting one from rumpke to eliminate the costly replacement of personal cans.
