Been with them for 11 months, issue never resolved. Called multiple times… promises made and never kept. I had no choice but to seek resolution through Orkin. Out more money when it could have been resolved through Pesty Johns. When cancelled, no compensation because they never cared from beginning. Lesson learned.

Jon was at the house today to start service. He was professional and friendly. Answered lots of questions, and I never felt like he was trying to upsell me for more than what I need. Overall a great experience.

Ive used Pesty Johns for over a decade for my home and business. Their services are reasonably priced and monthly spraying is consistently effective. However, I didnt become a fan until this week. During my monthly spraying, the service technician accidentally tracked in mud on my light carpet. I called the office to discuss the problem and the office team responded with genuine concern. They contacted the owner right away. Within two hours, the owner called me back and arranged for Servpro to come clean my carpets the next day. My carpets are now cleaner than they even were before the mishap!One of the hallmarks of a great company is how well they respond when things go wrong. The Pesty Johns team turned a negative situation into a positive customer story that Ill share for years to come. Thank you, John and team!

I don’t give bad reviews but I was so disappointed with the interaction with the office staff. I know people that have used them for years with no problems. The office staff is so unprofessional. They told me that I never intended to pay them. She said other things which I can’t remember but I do know it wasn’t nice. I would never refer them to anyone. Thanks for nothing.

I never wrotea negative review, but I also have never been so disrespectfully talk to by some 21 year old, that I paid money to do a job for me. If he done the job right in the first place he wouldnt had to come back.Please dont send a Boy to do a mens job! I am very disappointed and unhappy with Pesty John and would not recommend him to anyone! Your apology means nothing actions means everything, John you never found it necessary to come to see for yourself, so no I will never use your services again or will I recommend you to anyone!

Im only leaving one star because Im not allowed to leave no stars. Ill start by saying the technician, Paul, that typically came to my home was very nice. That is the only positive thing I am willing to say about this business. Their chemicals are a joke. They would spray at my home and the same day bugs were back in my home as if there was no spraying. I pointed out the hotspots but their chemicals did NOTHING. During the COVID quarantine we did not feel comfortable with having people inside of our home. They said they would spray outside but I would still be charged the full price. Extremely difficult to work with. Dont use them. I would rather live with the bugs. I mean I was living with the bugs anyways but because of this business I had less money in my pocket.

These people are so unprofessional. If I could give you a 0 I would. I would never recommend these water spraying, ignorant, unprofessional caucasians, to NO ONE!!!!! Id buy a can of Raid max before I send you a customer. They are thieves also dont give them your card number. STOP SPRAYING WATER.

I used to work at this place. I got fired because of another girl who also worked there. We had words about something but she blew it way out of proportion. They tried to short me on my last paycheck but as soon as I brought it to their attention, it was handled professionally by the owners wife. I dont know who is there now, but a few years ago it was a bunch of drama queens who didnt like certain people. If you werent as they were, you couldnt work there. Oh and you better not EVER sing along to the radio because it really gets on peoples nerves. Ok fine, I can see how that would irritate someone but you can ask them to stop in a nice way. And you better be able to listen to whoevers training you while youre on the phone with a customer, while also listening to that customer AND writing everything down while your other hand is doing some data entry on Quickbooks. And woe is you if you can get the hang of it it 3 days because if not, you get the axe.

Worst place ever. Service sucks had them for year didnt kill one bug. Got a new company 7 days after first treatment bugs gone. They dont care if you satisfied. Techs arent trained how to properly treat for bus. Dont waste your money!!

I dont know where all of these 1 and 2 Star reviews are coming from. I used to work for pesty Johns pest control and I can honestly say we were one of the Premier pest control companies in the state. Id be willing to bet that the customers who are complaining are not following the directions of the technician. The baits and pesticides we use nowadays use protein as their means of killing pests and if you have hamburgers and hotdogs and sandwiches or other junk and filth laying out, theyre not going to go towards the pesticides the company put out, theyre going to go towards the human food that is available. Thats a no-brainer. Had you rather eat a filet mignon or a hot dog? Bugs work the same way. If they have human food to choose from or the bait that we put out in order to kill them, they are going to choose the human food every time, which obviously has no pesticide in it. John Allen, the owner is a very good man and will bend over backwards to take care of issues with his customers. I have been a part of this and Im sure it hasnt changed. I would highly recommend giving them another try. If youre not happy with your technician, ask for another one. Not all technicians are created the same. I had four employee of the month plaques and one employee of the year plaque in just four years of workeong there. Pesty Johns is a very capable company of handling any needs that might arise. You do have to meet them halfway though. Its just as important that the homeowner take responsibility for the issue as it is for the technician to come out and take care of it. We work together. If one Side is not working as hard as the other, the problem will never be taken care of. I have seen this time and time again. Some people listen, some dont. Those are the ones that continue to have issues. feel free to call the company and tell them that you read a review on Google posted by Trent Herring. I feel pretty sure theyll remember me. If I ever move back to Columbus, I would do mybest to work for John again. He cares about his customers and his employees. Other companies,not so much. I was in no way shape or form compensated for this review. It has been a decade since I work for John but I take it personally when I read stuff like this because I know how good of a company they really are. I hope youll give them another chance.
