I’ve been a customer of Moxie since June 2019 and overall have been pleased with their service. They have come on schedule and have been responsive to requests for in-between services when I’ve had issues with stink bugs, spiders, and ants. Until now, I’ve been a satisfied customer. Yesterday, we were scheduled for our routine service. I was gone for most of the day, but received a notification that they had been at my house, and they outlined a number of services they had provided. Only slight problem is that we have security cameras and there was no evidence that anyone had actually been there. I also walked around the house and noticed a number of cobwebs in the eaves that had supposedly been removed and treated. It was pretty clear that no one from Moxie was ever at my house, or if they were here they did a pretty lousy job. I contacted the company via email, and they said they would send someone out tomorrow to do the job. While that sounds like a resolution, I’m actually a little angry that they are not more outraged that their technician is ripping off their customers. I was thanked for bringing the issue to their attention, but there was no apology or any indication that they are concerned about what happened. Their reply really came across as if they don’t really believe me, and I find that unacceptable. I’ve got plenty of evidence to show they did not do the job as described. This experience makes me question whether I should continue as a customer.

I was very pleased with my first service. Davis was right on time and treated the areas in my basement and outside my home thoroughly and efficiently. As I have numerous voles in my yard, he left a very unobtrusive bait box in a discreet location, and I am eager to see the results. He also sprayed and knocked down two small wasp nests near my garage doors and treated for ants near my pool. I am looking forward to being pest free soon.

Very pushy salesman at my house. I was interested in their services, but had to leave the house and refused to make a decision on the spot. He said he had to keep my credit card on file in order to save the deal he promised me, but wouldnt charge anything yet since I never actually signed an agreement. The next day, someone showed up at my house to start their services. (Even though I STILL never actually agreed to anything). But the employee was very nice and friendly and was just showing up to do as he was told, and I did end up wanting their services, so I agreed. After he left, the hornets nest he took down was left sitting right on my front porch. He went around the whole house with a brush to sweep for spider webs, but there were still 2 large clumps of webs right next to my front door. I understand missing some here and there, but I was hoping the main entrance of the home would at least look decent. Its not off to a good start with this company, hopefully I will see it being worth it over time. But no matter the quality of their work, forcing an employee to my house before I ever technically agreed to be a paying customer shouldve been enough of a red flag, so overall I would not recommend.

I just started with Moxie, and so far, I am pleased with their service! The salesman, Liam, was respectful, polite and informative. He explained the services and was able to answer my questions. Liam was able to cancel my old service with the previous company and I saved money switching over. It was also important to me that they used child and pet friendly products that are organically derived to treat my lawn. Within a couple of hours, the technician, Angel, showed up to perform the service. He was very thorough with the application of the pest treatment and the spider web removal. Angel was respectful and took time to verify the services with me and ensure there was no addition questions or concerns. I still have the follow up service in 30 days to complete the initial treatment. Over all I am happy with my switch to Moxie.

Seems to be a good service however was told we wouldn’t be able to smell indoors the chemicals they sprayed outdoors. Unfortunately we do. We are sensitive to aromas and typically suffer headaches from them. So far no headaches so fingers crossed that we can live with the chemical aroma coming into our house

Moxie came timely to provide our pest control service and went the extra mile to ask what we wanted serviced. Then the service tech took the time to clean away webs and obstacles to get the chemicals where they would be most effective. Great service and feel like Moxie is looking out for us.

Just signed up for an annual program. Ive had programs before but never with Moxie. Today they performed their first application so I wont know how effective it is for a while. But the Tech, Jeremy, was very professional and answered all my questions. And on the commercial side, the company was very Customer Service oriented regarding a couple special requests. So far, so good!

This is a scam company. Do not sign up. I unknowingly committed to 12 months of service when I thought the team was coming by to set up mouse traps for $29. There is an over $200 cancellation fee if you want to cancel before 12 months is up. Read carefully what you sign - they will try to trick you. I use Orkin instead - they are great!

This was my first treatment and I was not home when they were here. I guess I can better review later after I see results. The young man that signed me up seemed like a very nice polite person.

This company did not inform us we was locked in for 12 months. They also told us they had to come back in 30 days after first spray to spray again to kill all the eggs that would hatch. They were 20 days past the 30 days so the bees came back and my husband is highly allergic which is why we agreed to the sprays to begin with. They have no intention on making that right. They also made it seem as if the first payment covered the first two visits and that was not the case at all. Their salemen need to do a much better job at informing their customers of the full prices instead of covering up the truth behind this scam of a company! Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Look around and do your homework before agreeing with them. I was just desperate to deal with the bee problem and the sales man knew that and took advantage of it. After our 12 months are up we will be moving to a new company!!

We just began our treatment this summer. The Moxie team has always beenprofessional and quick to respond. We doseem to see less bugs in general around our property & hope to see that continue.

Albert was amazing! He was here early, and listened diligently when I was letting him know what type of insects we have seen and where we needed the most application. He worked pretty quickly and effectively. Customer Service was amazing as well. Service notes are detailed, but not so much that it is too much to read. I will recommended your services to anyone ion the area that inquires about pest/insect prevention/removal. Neal the Salesman was awesome as well. Very patient, and listened/observed what our situation was. These guys were both very professional as well. Could not recommend them enough!

The young man who sprayed around my house was very nice and professional. He explained what he was doing, why, and that someone would be back in a month for the next application. He even brushed the spiders and bugs off of the house before he started!

This is my initial experience, so far so good! The salesman (Jacob) was excellent, very respectful, polite and informative. Within several hours the actual technician showed up (Alika) and just as the salesman was, very respectful, polite and informative. Asked about my concerns and issues, explained what was needed and what he was going to do today. Treatment was performed quickly but efficiently! I can only wait and see now how effective the treatment and service is going to be. My issues are mainly small ants and carpenter bees in decking area during the summer! Like I stated above, so far so good, very satisfied with Moxie. They were recommended by my neighbor whom uses them as well and has been very satisfied.

Sarah C was very pleasant, courteous, made sure I didn’t have any questions, confirmed the service treatment, asked if there was any other concerns. She very professionally worked around the property, made sure I knew that they would return again in a month for a follow-up but to also feel free to be in contact with the company if any other concerns arise.I have friends also using Moxie. Their reviews helped me to feel comfortable with choosing the same for pest control needs.

The service tech was awesome. I shared that we noticed a biting insect, he quickly found Buffalo Gnats & addressed them. It was great service, plus on a super hot day.

The service technician, Angel, was on time and very professional. He explained what he was going to do and answered each of my questions. He seemed very knowledgeable about Moxie products and how they worked. He let us know when he had finished and told us that a follow-up service would be performed in 30 days.Very pleased so far. Hopefully, we get the expected results.

Angel was very professional, answered all my questions and explained the next steps, warranty etc. He came back same day, within 30mind of calling, to do my inside, as I wasn’t home yet when he came to do my outside.So far very pleased with the service. Even the customer service rep I spoke to was very nice, as well as the person who I signed up with. It’s refreshing to see a company stand true to what they’ve verbally stated. Bravo Moxie!

This is another company scam. Dont sign up for anything the service they provide doesnt work either. They came to my door offering a promising and promotional service and didnt say it was a quarterly charge of $149. Plus the first initial payment of $69 Plus tax. They are charging me $210 to cancel a contract that I was unaware of... because they have professional people that know how to hide these details to lure you in a contract. Also to note that Solicitation is not permitted in our community 🤔.

Gavin was great selling these services to us, he was super sweet and knew what he was selling! Woodson was super friendly and was the one who delivered the services. He took care of our home and yard. He was excellent. Definitely would recommend them. Thank you both!

Did not comply with requested time frame. Service appointment rescheduled due to exterior routine maintenance. Interior was not completed due to not home when technician arrived.

Correct did a great job spraying for stink bugs. He communicated very well

The technician, Angel, showed up within the scheduled time window. Was very polite and said what he was going to do. The treatment was very quick. He let me know when he was done and asked if I had any questions or concerns. Told me they would be back in about a month to do the follow-up treatment, and that it is normal to see an increase in activity for a short time (important to know.)

The guy came today to service for literally 5 minutes and left.This review purely for today . worse..The guys who came earlier were OK. Today was really bad.i cannot pay you just because youshow up.hopefully will rectify this bad Services - not acceptable !!I have called up, the lady was nice and rescheduled.but as a customer I had to trust the first time and dont need to call.

We just finished our initial treatment. Our sales rep said they would do whole entire yard for the ticks and ants with granules They would spray inside home and outside. We had mole traps set as well(biggest selling point to me). Technician was very nice but only did one trip around house with granules. He was receptive to mole locations and inside the home. I am just kind of disappointed with granule distribution. Being told whole yard(we have 1 acre)vs a 10ft wide strip around home. During the talk with Salesman I voiced concern about ticks because I smashed one the day before. We will see how next visit goes. Only reason for a 3 is because Technician was polite and on time.

I have used Moxie for 3 years and they have been great for the quarterly applications for bugs. I had someone come out for a termite inspection and he was quite rude. I am thinking it was a one-off incident everyone else that has come out has been very nice.

Just had our first treatment to prevent Stinkbugs from Moxie. The gentleman who provided our service was extremely respectful, courteous and thorough. So glad we won’t be having a stink bug invasion this fall!

Very professional and personable. Listened to my concerns and explained a lot about insect behavior inside and outside the home. We did the introductory offer, and will have our first quarterly treatment in a month. I love the full home warranty aspect! That is what sold me, because it shows they believe in their products and services to their customers and our homes.

Techs are prompt and very professional. Always check to make sure any questions we have are answered before and after they perform service. I recommend this Company.

I’ve had vole treatments for the past 5 to 6 months and they’re worse than ever. Texted about the severity and got no additional treatment.

Salesman came to our house and wouldn’t take no for an answer. After asking “who we use” and how long we’ve used them, and why (after being told no multiple times) I literally had to close the door and walk in while he continued to look around and take pictures of my front yard. 20 minutes later he was doing the same thing to my neighbor. I was about 30 seconds from having to call the cops to get him off of my property. I appreciate the tenacity and understand sales, but know when to quit…..

Treated around the house very well (eves, doors, porch, and the whole base of the house. It does say they did the yard too, but I must have missed that. Good so far, and hoping it stays that way.

We have used Moxie for years. Hands down the best service available. They are always timely, give notice before and at the time of service and offer easy quarterly billing. Anytime we need some additional treatments they come out right away. And Nate is exceptionally professional and takes the time to check in with our needs. Cannot recommend them enough.

Ozzie Toledo of Moxie Worthington visited us today. Perfect timing as my husband and I were just discussing searching for pest control options. Ants and wasps were the main concern. He was polite and knowledgeable. Shortly after we agreed, they started treating and taking care of everything. We clearly wont have results yet but just the service level is enough for us to highly recommend, already. Looking forward to being insect free 😀

Adam is an asset to Moxie. Most importantly, he knows his job well and is working to resolve my issue. But also I never feel like he is rushing - he is willing to listen to me and check all areas of concern. He is professional and personable. I appreciate that Moxie is willing to spend the personnel time needed to resolve my issue.

Greg was very polite and willing to listen to my concerns. He explained what he was doing to get rid of the pests and made sure I knew to call if the problem was not solved within 2 weeks. The tech never showed up at my house. I called to report this and was told he had been here at approximately 3:30. I was in my garage at the time with the door up so I could not have missed him. I was told they couldn’t get ahold of him and would call back. That was over two hours ago and didn’t hear anything. Please cancel the service and don’t bill my credit card for the service you did at the wrong house. I don’t want the service at all.

Woodson was really great, personable and professional, let me talk/walk with him as he worked, explaining what he was doing, what critters he was spraying or spreading granules for. He was very careful not to damage flowers or wildflowers we’ve planted. I really appreciated his level of thoroughness and willingness to answer all my questions. I was very pleased with my first application.

This was the first time we used this company. Seems to be ver thorough. Knocked down all spider webs, killed some wasps did the entire basement, garage and outside. Very nice young man.

Today was our first treatment so I may have an update later but they were very friendly, professional, and thorough - from the sales rep to the one assigned to perform the treatment. I really appreciated their kindness and professionalism. Ill circle back if the services fail us. However, I doubt that because if there are issues, I can contact them and have free services between treatments.

A very professional service provider. Our initial contact was with Justus, who explained the available services, program options and pricing structure. Justus was followed by service technician Chase who was very professional and did the application. Both were a pleasure to meet and we appreciate their work.

Their service is excellent. You can call to ask additional service whenever need (we use more for ants, spiders related) besides the regular scheduled service without charge.

Rep knocked on my door despite my “no soliciting” sign, then argued that he wasn’t actually soliciting and what he was doing was “different”. I told him we already used a service and tried explaining that I was trying to work and he kept right on talking like my time was of no value. I had to shut the door in his face. People need to respect “no soliciting” signs AND take no for an answer. Very unprofessional. This was in Preston Trails in Pickerington on 7/29. Will never use this service simply because of this. Would give zero stars if I could.

Alex was awesome. He stopped in to explain everything he was going to do, what he was going to use, when he would be back. Why he couldnt perform everything as planned because of the rain. He did a great job.

Last week I had Moxie out for our first treatment for pests and bugs. Angel was the tech that performed the service. Angel was very polite and professional. He answered all my questions about the different applications being applied and what they do. I feel like I get more covered through Moxie with their based price. Others I’ve talked to it feels like an add on for everything.

Woodson is a great hard working young man. He serviced my house on 06/01. He was humble and very courteous . I will recommend moxie pest control to any one because him. He made sure I was satisfied with the work he did before leaving. Such a great guy.

Use this service on a quarterly basis as a preventative measure. They do a great job and are always very polite and thorough. They also communicate effectively, making time to contact us prior to the visit, at the time of the visit and then following up to ensure satisfaction post visit. Would recommend their services.

Woodson was the Moxie tech who provided initial applications, inside and outside the house on June 21, 2021.Explained each application and answered our questions. Was very knowledgeable and thorough.Advised what to watch for prior to next treatment (pests activity).Treated couple of areas we requested outside the home (carpenter bee entry and yellow jacket nest area).Only thing missing was promised advance call; text; or e-mail, from home office(?), approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival. Otherwise, we’ll watch for advised results of applications and look forward to next step in treatments.

A salesperson from Moxie pesticides offered a competitive contract compared to the company we have used for years.I signed the contract that evening and was looking forward to their service, but I ended up cancelling Moxie the following day per the 3-day cancellation clause. As Moxie was finishing the applications in the afternoon my current company called to say they had a voicemail from an unknown phone saying it was me and that I was being relocated to California due to military duty and I needed them to come over and remove the traps and cancel my services. I will not accept the lying and that is not good business. That salesrep did call back and apologize justifying the lie as an attempt to have me get around the cancellation fee from the current company...still wrong and not excusable.Anyway, just wanted to pass this along...

Worst exterminator company we have EVER used. I essentially did their job, and they LIED to me about what they offer to help with the problem we have. DO NOT USE FOR MICE ISSES.

Not often do I get to say: A Guardian Angel took care of my pest problem. Today, Angel from Moxie Pest Control worked on our quarterly service and took preventive measures for outside and inside of the home. Angel also was professional and courteous to take care of a preventive spray in the basement. Thank you Angel and Thank you Moxie !!

Moxie has always been on time, professional and willing to come out for additional treatments and spray my garage workshop thoroughly as needed.. living near a pond draws a lot of bugs And they try to nest in the wood shop.. The pricing is fair and their team goes above and beyond.. I REALLY appreciate that they text you updates about upcoming service and you can text them right back to coordinate times and ask for follow up visits.. I had carpenter bees bore in under my chimney.. texted em on a Sunday (outside normal hours) GOT A RESPONSE immediately anyway, and they automatically set up the visit and the tech was here by Tuesday and treated for the bees... I would recommend this company to anyone!

Albert arrive just before the appointment time and introduced himself, then explained what he would be doing while he was there. He was efficient doing the work and did a great job in minimizing the over-spray in the breezy conditions. Glad to see Moxie provided the proper protective equipment (PPE) for Albert while he applied the treatment.

We use Moxie fir our quarterly exterior pest control and termite eradication. They affordable and professional.

We had them come out multiple times and the issue has not been resolved. The guy told us to move and to bomb the uhaul truck with all of our stuff in it. Thats the only way to get rid of them. They said the spray only kills on contact and thebait only does so much. So we are paying a ton of money for nothing.

Completed first session today. Angel did a meticulous application job, was professional, answered all my questions, and generally exceeded my expectations. I am a happy customer

Angel came to my home this afternoon to spray the outside and inside of my home. He was super nice! Thoroughly explained what he was going to do and how long it would take until I would start seeing results and that I could call anytime in between visits for another spray.

WARNING: DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING!!! The pushy sales man (Im not allowed to take no for an answer) will practically give you your first treatment for free. Then attempt to con you by having you fill out their Customer Follow Up Questionnaire that is actually a service agreement for $1000s of dollars with a $300 cancelation fee.Also, Service didnt work. Our issue was ants coming into the house, they did a 10 minute yard spray that only drove more bugs into the house. Within weeks the outside bug activity level was the same or even increased while ants in the house remained the same.

Sarah did a great and thorough job of doing the initial inspection and service. She communicated what she did today and what we should expect over the next couple of weeks before she comes back in 30 days. Thanks, Sarah, and well look for you in 30 days!

Our technician Davis was the epitome of service. Courteous, attentive to our needs, willing and eager to please. If, I were a competitor, of Moxie, I would be looking for ways to hire Davis. Davis would be an asset to any company. If, the products perform as well as Davis....I picked a winner.

I have a no soliciting sign on my door. Not only do they not respect this but the man kept knocking until I answered a good 5 min. Then he came back and knocked againandknocked again.

Very polite young men came and quickly explained their process. Advices how long digs to stay off of lawn. They let me know when they were done. Completely unobtrusive.

Same as other reviews on Yelp, the salesrep was persistent, stood wayy too close, and ran his mouth unmasked at a time in a pandemic when new variants are surfacing, Im pregnant, and we cant take that risk right now. We kept saying we werent interested. After many attempts to decline and many explanations of how we dont need or want pest control, I had to close the door on him to get him to shut up. Rude. Their aggressive soliciting even where signs indicate No Soliciting is also reprehensible. Their impact today: I would NEVER do business with them.

When searching for termites the inspector decided it was ok to test areas with a screwdriver in some soft water damaged trim which we knew we had already. He proceeded to dig out a significant hole in the trim. As well as no mask and decided it was OK to walk back into our house after being outside without knocking.
