I had an amazing appointment with Vera! She removed my gel mani (which I got from Tara, who is also awesome!) and did level one nail art with a gel manicure. Ive had bad experiences at nail salons before **NOT at Lacquer Gallery** so I have been VERY pleased to find such talented manicurists here. Nail art was new to me, and Vera was very attentive to detail and offered great suggestions when it came to my ideas. We came up with this! Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. There were many drinks and snacks that you could munch on while waiting and the atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing. I will definitely be back.Emilee did an AMAZING job with my nails. I have never gotten nail art before so I reached out to her beforehand with questions and she was so helpful. She did a wonderful job and you can tell that she really cares about doing a great job on your nails. She treats every session as if she’s creating a work of art and it’s greatly appreciated. She was running little behind in her appointments but I honestly did not care because it showed that even if she was behind, she wanted to make sure you got what you wanted.

I love this place. I go to Meagen. She is a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. She even encourages me to try colors that I would never think to do. While always keeping what I want as a top priority. I have also met Lauren who did my fiances nails, and she did an amazing job, Im sure hes going to be leaving a review soon. Overall this nail salon is the most calming and welcoming experience you can get while getting a professional nail job done. Everyone that Ive talked to in the building has been super kind and awesome. And I hope to be coming here for a long time. and an added bonus about the business, is that if anything happens to your nails within 7 days, they will fix them for free, and for somebody who is super clumsy like me that helps my wallet a lot. My nails looked great (even though we were both chatting it up and we forgot to do the gold accent nail with my deep red polish for holidays. Whoops!) Going back at the end of the week for a polish change!

Friendly and attentive staff. A cool, Chic vibe to the place. Comfortable and stress free. Free candy and soda! Had my first pedicure (ever) there. Haley was my pedicurist. Not as bad as I thought it would be! Will definitely go back!

Very frustrating customer service, basically like talking to a wall. Nightmare manicure that had five nails break (with gels) in a week and had to pay to get them fixed, was told they would be free within a week but no available appointments until 8 days after, two weeks later a car repair is running late and I was given no help in trying to reschedule appointment, just told that would be a same day cancellation fee with a cringe-sigh on the other end of the phone. There are some really great nail artists there but Im tired of feeling like the receptionist truly couldnt care less to help me so Ill just go somewhere else.

I loved my first visit here. I got a gel manicure right before vacation that has lasted 3 weeks and still looks flawless. The lady who did my nails was super personable and listened to exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend going here!

I have been to the Lacquer Gallery several times, and feel I get a mix of quality service. This last visit really failed my expectations. I took my daughter (7) for a mother-daughter nail day. First, the salon was running very behind overall so we both waited over 15 minutes to even get started. It bothers me when this happens at salons, because you know if I was 15 minutes late they would be cancelling my appointment and charging me for it as a no call/no show. I let that go as I know it happens, but it is something that should be addressed.I got gel nails and my daughter got regular polish. Her stylist while excellent, and I would go back to see her for sure, didn’t start her manicure until I was nearly finished. We didn’t get to sit next to each other as promised for services.My stylist seemed rushed the entire time. When I made the appointment I had gels on so they told me they would put down gel removal, but wouldn’t charge me unless I needed it. When I went in, my gels were gone. The receptionist and stylist both noted I wouldn’t need the removal. Since they have electronic receipts I didn’t see until I checked my email that I had been charged extra for both a gel removal service, and a structured gel top coat. I emailed noting I didn’t have the gel removal and was told I wouldnt get charged. I asked what the structured gel top coat was, since I didn’t ask for it, nor was told about it at the time. They refunded for the gel top coat and noted that structured gel was to lengthen the length of gel polish. I replied that I was surprised about since it was never mentioned during my booking or visit. They apologized through email, and said they would talk to be stylist. I was a little annoyed I had been upsold without being told, which is very shady, but I was willing to let it go this time of my nails lasted longer. However, now it’s only been 4 days since my visit. My nails are cracked in multiple places and I have several chips. I theoretically paid for a top coat that is supposed to length gel life (which I thought was supposed to be long-life anyway), and am not even getting as long as my last gel manicure which lasted around 2.5 weeks. I’ll be thinking twice before I book my next appointment.

I recently moved out of the area but multiple times a month, I miss the girls at Lacquer Gallery Clintonville. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and helpful (special shout out to Renee!) from as soon as you walk in to when you walk out. Emilee is especially talented with nails, though you cant go wrong with anyone on the team. My skin especially misses Shyloh. Her facials were amazing and she takes the time to get to know you and your skin. Her dermaplane facials are by far the best I have ever received; Ive been trying to find a replacement in my new area and no one comes close to the care that she takes in ensuring that each area of your face is attended to. Treat yourself to a Lacquer appointment!

Absolutely without a doubt would recommend anyone to Lacquer Gallery! The Clintonville location is significantly closer to me than the Harrison West but to be quite honest I would drive 30+ minutes if I had to for this level of customer service and care. In the last 3 years that I have been to lacquer for my hair, nails and skin I have never had a bad experience. The services are high quality and the staff is amazing!

I love this nail salon so much! The atmosphere is great and super inviting, and the gel manicure I got was the most beautiful manicure Ive even had. It is a bit expensive, but it is well worth the price to be in such a lovely warm and trendy environment. It is going to be the only place I go to get my nails done now!

This is unlike any nail salon I’ve been to in Columbus! The workers do a great job of being punctual and efficient with any service you get. I’ll definitely be coming back.

My friend Sam and I went for a girls afternoon during the Columbus polar vortex. We were warmed by the bright cheery flamingo wallpaper and the super chill staff. The team was more than accommodating about us sitting together and were social and fun. I got quite the education about season one of Parks and Rec. In regards to my services, I got the gel manicure with the parrafin wax and not only did my hands feel super smooth after, my nails also fit the bill in red glossy perfection (thanks Emilee). 10 out of 10 would go again!

The vibe is chill-i never feel bad rolling in looking like a hot mess and they offer monthly specials which Im always game to take advantage of. currently rocking some mustard gel nails and Im obsessed 🤩

I had a 60 minute facial with extractions performed by Shyloh and my skin felt like it could breathe again! She is beyond gentle and super personable. Cant rave about this place enough! The space is super welcoming, clean and open - nice lounge area for seating, and complimentary snacks and drinks while youre seated. Tia did a swift, efficient, and extremely clean job with a gel removal and a new gel mani! After 4 weeks, still no lifting or chipping (thats what Im talkin about).Another great aspect about Lacquer Gallery is their social media - the Instagram account posts last minute openings for services, monthly specials, and discounts on a DAILY (practically HOURLY) basis! Ive never known a salon to do something like this before - but its great for a last minute booking that you maybe didnt plan for, and the monthly specials are almost always applicable to nail services!Lacquer also has their own app - which is super convenient for booking and keeping track of appts and scheduling!

Liked my nails when I first got them, but after a week they are already scratched and popping off. I paid so much to get acrylics done and Im pretty disappointed in the result. The nails are thick and not painted well. Im sorry but I wont be back because of the price and the resulting product. :(

My friend and I went to Lacquer Gallery Clintonville together for the first time after seeing some of their finished products on Instagram. We both got gel manis and by time we left we were both raving about how awesome this place is! Every single person that was there acknowledged us, was extremely kind and professional, and very friendly! We both absolutely loved our manis and Leana James (she did my mani) did Japanese cherry blossoms and she made sure that they were right! They look amazing and right now Im at 3 weeks and they have not chipped, cracked or come up!!!If youre looking for some awesome gel manis and nail art Id highly recommend lacquer gallery!
