Rough customer service. Called customer service wait an hour and then they hang up on you get disconnected. Water 2 more hour sto try and get ahold of someone so I can figure out why my package was never delivered.

If your package/mail is being held at a post office in COLUMBUS, OH 43215, its not being held here -- it will be at the Twin Rivers Dr. location.I tried to contact the Twin Rivers location & this location via phone before coming in (this office is located in a federal building downtown), but since my calls werent responded to, I had to park and walk down to the building. Very inconvenient. The employee @ 200 N High was helpful in describing where Id have to go to get my mail, but it would have been more helpful if I couldve gotten that information over the phone. My package actually wasnt being held at either location, but was already out for delivery again -- had Id known, I would have just stayed home.

I have never entered a post office so furious in my life and left feeling so much better. Marvin supported me in tracking down the carrier that was choosing not to deliver a high priority guarantee delivery time package. I think I might have to go back and thank him personally.

My package was sent back because No Such Number. I check delivery address and it was correct. Really?? Shipped back across the US for something I already paid for and my address is correct. Poor service.

The prior comments are true. Instead of building a wall and allowing public access to the post office and screening for anyone going to the other agencies, you get to go through the screening to get to the post office.Today removal of my belt, shoes, and lanyard were not enough. I forgot my watch and wallet resulting in me getting the extra and attention from the security guards. My bad.Once inside, everything was fine. Its just their security is overboard for mailing a box. I understand the need for their security measures for this building. A better approach is to move this branch to another building that does not need security screening. (Another fine example of One Size Fits All not working.)I will avoid this post office unless I can take the time hit and extra hassle. My rating is a 5 for the Post office service and a 0 for the security screening. The average becomes a 3.

Went in during my lunch hour. I interacted with three security guards, all three were friendly and helpful. When I got to the desk, there was a sign that said ring for service. After I finished getting my parcel ready to ship, the lady in front of me dinged the bell and someone came out to help us.The mail clerk was extremely friendly with both of us, and even went the extra mile to confirm that the passport application I was sending had the extra money added to the check in order to pay for the expedited services I was requesting (as I had written Expedite on the front).

Have a package sitting there IA that has the correct address. No one has answered the phone all day to help resolve the issue.

The worst post office you will ever visit. First, you and your belongings are subjected to an airport-esque security screening because its in a Federal building. Next, no one will actually be at the counter when you get there so you have to ring a bell and cross your fingers someone who isnt on a break heard it and decided to respond. Oh, and theyre only open for four hours a day, five days a week. Go here only if it is truly your option of last resort.

Going through the security check, since this location is in a Federal building, completely sucks. The security procedures are mostly identical to boarding a plane in any airport, minus the full body scans. Shoes, belts, wallets, watches, bluetooth headphones, and everything else must come off just to mail a package. Oh, and I mustnt forget standing with your legs and arms spread out while the guards slowly check every inch of your body with a metal detector, after youve emptied all your stuff to go through the other detectors. The staff at the actual post office was mostly pleasant, not the type to offer help, just a Hi and what do you want?A post office of last resort, but better than nothing I suppose.

I called because I had no idea which post office was my post office and Im missing mail I was supposed to receive four days ago. Apparently without realizing I called this post office back a second time and I needed transferred again. The lady who kept answering the phone was the most rude person I have ever talked to in customer service. She legitimately hung up on me while I was still speaking to her. And then when I called back to ask for her name so I could speak to her manager or put in a customer service complaint, she proceeded to hang up on me. AGAIN. I have never experience such a dismal display of customer service. Or even of humanity. Im merely trying to determine where my package is but its like the first time I spoke to this woman was the end of the world. NEVER CALL THEM.

The USPS lady behind the counter was very kind and professional. However, I would avoid this USPS location as it is in a Federal Building. That means before going to the post office; you need to go through a TSA type screening, where you need to remove your wallet/cellphone, belts, and jacket, etc. As a frequent traveler using the TSA Pre at an airport is faster than security here. I used this facility once, and the security personnel was professional and kind. However, I would avoid the hassle of going to this post office and be screened to buy stamps.

Horrible. This is a general review for USPS in Columbus. Ever since Ive moved to Columbus, my mail problem has been nothing but horrible. My packages are always late, or they say they attempted to deliver them, even though Ive watched the USPS driver deliver my mail, and walk away, with no packages. They give me random peoples mail all the time, and when I wrote a friendly note one time to address this, instead of fixing the issue, they kept doing it, and also wrote me a rude letter in response. I can NEVER contact them, not only because Im waiting on my new phone I ordered that was somehow an attempted delivery, but because their customer call line is always 2+ hour wait, and they take as long as possible to sort out email complaints.

Completely incompetent. Have been calling the national line to tell this location to put my package on the back steps- THREE TIMES. I work 6 out of 7 days and cannot pick up at store. Ive emailed to complain, no response. Called today, busy tone. Their limited hours make this impossible. Im livid at how unprofessional this office is.

Worst customers service ever. People are rude and not helpful at all. You ask me why USPS kept losing revenue every year? This is why. They hire incompetent rude people such as the lady at this downtown post office. I would go FedEx or UPS because they are just that much more efficient and friendlier.

Secure than the Pentagon...Unfortunately I work nearby and was forced to choose this as the nearest Post Office. Not any more...It is located in a Federal building and you really need to be out of work to put up with going through the metal detectors etc. Recently, I was denied access to the building because I had packaging materials on me (glue, cellotape, packing tape, scissors). Id to drive 20 minutes to another post office in order to mail my package.Scr*w the people who came up with the idea of putting a Post Office in a Federal building. They are using our tax dollars to build a pile of horse manure.

If I could give a zero I would. Yes you will need to go through the security check point station because it is a federal building but the post office clerk that worked there about 6 months ago had a major attitude problem no matter how friendly you were. She no longer works there but there is a new clerk who is a couple steps above. I went there to mail wedding invitations and literally almost got taken down by a security guard because I was on my cell phone in the building. He no longer works there either
