Very cool place and concept. You can get a straight razor shave, beard trim and hair cut while drinking your favorite beverage (burbon neat). I would absolutely recommend to any man wishing to pamper themselves with a manly experience.

The most unique haircut I have had so far in Columbus. Micah is creative and he made my hair stylish. The overall experience is beyond my expectation. I didnt understand what the front lady says when I checked out, because I dont comprehend daily English well. In the end, I forgot to tip, it bothers me a lot. In my next visit, I will double the tips for Micah.

Being an Ohio State student from out of state I always struggled finding a good barber who was consistent and did a good, thorough job. I tried Royal Rhino and was pleased from the start. My guy Cyle does an awesome job and always gives me a clean fade and nice trim on the top while adding natural, unforced conversation. Furthermore, he always tapers the back cleanly and doesnt leave a blocky finish, something that was common in other barber shops. All around great place that gives you a great cut, may be a bit pricier but it is well worth it.

If you appreciate a full service Barber and you know exactly how you want your hair cut this place is for you. When you walk in you can order a drink and play some pool/darts while you wait or just enjoy the leather chairs and wild decor. The barbers are very knowledgeable and thorough but make sure you can descibe what you want or you might end up with something a little more modern than expected. However if anything is wrong you can just schedule a touch up and theyll take care of you no problem.

I probably should have made a review a long time ago, but its never too late.I have been coming here since November 2017. The first time I came, I had an absolutely amazing beard trim from Micah. I made another appointment awhile later to have him cut my hair. Since then, I have been coming back. If youre looking for someone who does an amazing beard trim and haircut, I highly suggest booking with Micah. He does a phenomenal job!

The whole atmosphere upon arrival was very welcoming and unlike any other shop I have been to. Micah cut my hair and he took the time to make sure that I looked crisp. I am very particular with my how I want my cuts to look and Micah definitely put in the work . It is obvious that this is not only a job to him but his passion. I will definitely be back!

This is one of the most impressive and enthralling barbershops Ive been to in the state. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy & the people inside and warm and welcoming. Also Im impressed that they serve alcohol but I see new surprises everyday lol. Great for walk-ins and appointments are encouraged.

I’m on the road a lot and wanted to give a shout out to Jeff who’s fresh out of barber school with the freshest of fades. The time and quality he put into my haircut along with the stress of importance to my comfort and enjoyment of the experience was top notch. What a great experience! On my first visit I took my future son-in-law and we had a great time. We didnt bother making reservations so we had a short wait. This gave us a chance to look around and meet the staff. The shop is fascinating and full of stuff I want including a pool table. We had a drink and relaxed for a few minutes and had a chance to talk which we dont get enough of.Of course, knowing the heritage of this place you would expect that the service and style would be perfect and you would be right. We had two different professionals and they were both great! Everything was excellent and we both highly recommend the Royal Rhino Club Barbershop and Lounge!

Moved to Columbus about a month ago and have been waiting to get a haircut for a while. I asked around and a bunch of people told me different places, but one stood out to me; Royal Rhino Club. Im always worried about trying a new barber, but Dyrek gave me one of the best cuts Ive gotten in a long time. I will be returning next month for sure! The atmosphere is really cool too, for people who are into that.

Location is great and they actually have their own liquor license. This is one of those Mens Salons with the Mens Salon pricing (think $30-40 for a hair cut with additional offerings available).As a Mens Salon, it is among one of the better ones I have been to, but many of its features arent beneficial if you are looking for a quick haircut.If you have an evening and would like to relax with a class of wine or a beer while you wait, then this place is awesome. Comfortable chairs, interesting art and displays, and even cocktails. If you are looking to get in and get out quickly without hitting the pocketbook, this probably isnt the place to go.Royal Rhino is an experience...and it is an experience worth paying some money for...but you are definitely going to pay some money to get the full experience.

First time visit, had a coupon I received on Christmas my barber was Nichole, very friendly, talented and took her time. Dyrek was great. I want sure exactly how to communicate the haircut and beard trim I wanted, but he knew what questions to ask and made some excellent suggestions of his own. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere felt like a new age barbershop.

This was not just a haircut, it was an experience. Highly detailed cut with invigorating shampoo and conditioning followed by an amazing scalp massage and style. I must admit Ive never paid this much for a haircut, but after this experience I went ahead and purchased a package of haircuts. I will definitely be back regularly. This was my worst experience ever I went for a haircut and I came out the same way I got there they I was charged 35 dollars just for a regular haircut and the person that cut my hair didn’t even know that she was doing she took 5 minutes to cut my hair and she didn’t even know how to do a shape up I will never never go to that Berber shop ever again

This is my second visit. First one was very positive . This one is not. I had a scheduled appointment which I came early for and was told I could be seen early. That was simply not true. Every other person went before me. My barber walked out and went on break. Even when he came back he still dont take me. I finally had to go ask and still not taken back. Very disappointed

This place has a great atmosphere and knowledgeable/friendly staff. I scheduled with Cyle and was not disappointed. I was asked what I was looking for in a haircut and Cyle assured me that when he was done I would look great! During my haircut I asked if there were any stores/restaurants in the area he would recommend. He directed me to the Fox in the Snow cafe just down the street. It was an amazing recommendation! After my cut was finished he walked me through the process on how to style it and even showed me what type of product would work best for my hairstyle/type. I look forward to returning in the near future!

Cyle gave me a 5-Star fade last week. This place is convenient to my house and work, spacious and comfortable, maybe a little pricey but $32 for a cut isnt that unusual anymore. Cyle delivered on a great cut.

Ive always been the guy that would only spend $5 to $10 on a haircut and avoid it as long as possible because it was such a crapshoot whether Id get a good cut or not. But Cyle at Royal Rhino Club convinced me to try a more modern cut and it was really worth it. No bs...a week later i had 2 girls come up to my table at a restaurant while I was dining with my family and say what a great haircut i had. Never experienced that before, so Ill definitely be back. The shop itself is really cool, somewhere you wouldnt even mind hanging out if you had to wait a bit. Theyve got pool, darts, and drinks. Looking forward to my next cut.

Have taken my five year old son to Cyle to get his hair cut twice. Cyle does an amazing job! My son has gotten so many compliments on his hair as its definitely not the typical dorky little boy haircut we were getting at kids salons. Im so happy to have found Cyle and the Royal Rhino Club! The space itself is so cozy and welcoming, too. Overall a great experience.

I am new to the RRC and they have a loyal and forever customer. A close friend gave me a gift certificate so I could get a good haircut, I have been doing the chain barbers for years... My wife and kids also have been giving me a hard time for not having a haircut that was appropriate for my position in business. I didnt realize how bad my hair had been until co-workers and clients all made comments about how good my hair looked, and friends used the word finally with regularity.After my first trip, I pre-bought four more. I since asked my 21 year old son to try it. He texted me when he arrived the first time and simply said this place is awesome! followed by, Dad, can I pre-buy like you did? He know has friends trying it.RRC now has two very loyal clients, and more coming!

Normally go to holy Moses but with MY schedule I couldn’t get booked so I checked this place out. Told the guy I wanted a fade but not to short to where I could see skin on the sides and a little off the top. He did the fade and started trimming the top with clippers. The last time I had my hair cut of the top with clippers was when I went to Saturday’s 8 years ago. At the reveal of my cut i saw that my fade looked like it was damn near bald and completely opposite of what I asked. I didn’t really mind because it still looked clean and the top looked ok because I only asked for a little off the top. My second time in I asked for the same thing but heavily asked to not make it to short on the sides and asked for a little more off the top. This time my sides weren’t even faded! Just trimmed the same length all around. Now my top! Uhh! He only cut the top with clippers again BUT left the bangs alone. Now I have a non fade on the sides, shorter hair on top with extra long bangs that I can’t even style because it looks like I have a janky bumpit on the front of my head (google bumpit and i style my bangs up and over to my right) lmao! My point. Rhino club took about 25 min to cut my hair and both times I went wasn’t what I wanted. Holy Moses takes about 40 min but 4 out of the 5 people I have experienced at that place!? All of them have shown extream passion of making everything right by asking questions while cutting and constantly taking a step back to make sure everything is nice and even. They do all this at the same price..
