This place a is a nod to the old days of a clean haircut and a hot towel with just enough time for a shave. The staff is professional and take their time to cut your hair right. I have never been rushed or feel the need to ensure I don’t touch anything. It’s a relaxing environment yet professionals work there ensuring a great haircut. They cut both adult and kids hair. Make sure you have a reservation because they do not take walk-ins. I do like the fact you can schedule and change your appointment online. I have used them several times and will continue to do so.

Really cool shop, but haircuts are EXTREMELY rushed. She didn’t even give me the haircut I asked for. I asked for SKIN medium fade and by the end of my haircut it looked like I got a trim. Being in the Army getting a trim like that I would have to get a haircut every week at a cost of 26$. The reason we ask for skin is for the haircut to last for at least two weeks. She didn’t even let me see my hair after she was done for my chance to make adjustments. Once the next customer arrived she rushed to finish mine so she can start the next cut. Zero attention to detail. The concept is great but if you are going to up charge a haircut make sure give the proper cut. It’s my fault for trying a new places. When you’re going to pay 22$ I guess we expect a good cut.🤷🏻‍♂️

Fantastic spot with an old world feel. Ask for V. They do all the trimmings: straight razor, cream, hot and cold towels. Ive always enjoyed my time. Very reasonable on the prices as well.

Kaci is hands-down the best barber I’ve ever had. I’ve been to numerous barbers all over the city, and none of them can quite compare to the level of expertise this young lady has. Even if I were to move to another city I would gladly make the trip just so she can continue being my barber from here on out. Whether it’s beards, hair, razor fades/shaves, she is hands-down the most talented barber in the Tri-City area.

Loved the atmosphere of this place. It does lack the “man’s haven” feel as it’s more around the gentleman feel. Everything in here is classic and they have great products like Reuzel and Suavacito. I had a cut with Vee and she was awesome! She has a gentle touch and at times I couldn’t tell she was even cutting. She spent extra care and time getting my part perfect and cutting it in. I will definitely come back.

Really cool shop, but haircuts are EXTREMELY hit or miss. Just had my hair wrecked! I could tell she was clueless and kept clipping until she figured it out. She combed through the side so much trying to figure it out that my scalp was getting raw. The A.A. female did a pretty good job last time with a few very minor issues, and as a perfectionist I thought I’d try someone else. REALLY REALLY wish I had gone back to her. This one looks like a Great Clips cut.

A little overpriced for what your getting. It is certainly a cool space for a barbershop but I am extremely disappointed in my hair.I am not one to usually do this but I received the worst haircut of my life at this place. The only reason why I gave it two stars was the barber was super nice and sweet. However, my sides are completely jacked up and now I have to wait for my hair to grow out. Here’s to wearing a hat for the next two weeks!

Good service, reasonable price, great atmosphere. Never been there before and my chosen stylist had an emergency so the called me a few hours ahead to accommodate. They moved my time by 30 minutes to a new stylist, and she was more than capable. Despite the misfortune they were still professional. Im new to town and this was my first new barbershop here, but I think I have found my new forever barbershop.

I have been coming to Old Barber Shoppe and Vicki has always cut my hair. She has done a magnificent job so far and I plan On coming back as many times as possible. This may as well be my new haircut place while being stationed here. Also I will definitely let my coworkers and others know to come to this place and get a very clean haircut.

Great place to get your haircut. All barbers here know how to cut hair. They straight razor the back of your neck. Recommend getting an appointment here or else you wont be able to walk in. The place has a great atmosphere and the decor is great. Its not cheap but definitely worth the money and service here. This place is on the second level so dont get confused when trying to find the place.

Great place! These ladies take their time, and pay a lot of attention to detail. You definitely need to book an appointment, and know it will probably take at least 45 minutes for your hair cut. They also have drinks and snacks available for customers, which is nice. Final note, they only do mens haircuts here.

Such a great atmosphere, really love the old timey feel it has to it. The antique chairs are awesome! Not to mention the fantastic haircut for really not a bad price. I was about to go in there and spend a lot of money. I wanted the works. Haircut, shave, manicure, and shoe shine and facial etc.... I always tip at least 50.00 because of the Services i wanted would have took some time. I was met at the door by an older lady who immediately told me that i needed to call and make an appointment as if they did not take walk-ins. I would have waited. I’m new to Columbus and I’m sorry Old School but you just lost a valuable customer.

I have been getting my hair cut here for awhile now. I love it. It feels like a very personal experience every time I go. But, for the new people deciding on getting a hair cut here understand that this is not cut by us and they don’t do ten dollar hair cuts. Exactly what I have been looking for. Great service, man pampering, and a time warp back to where a haircut isnt a 15 minute time block on a schedule. Full service for men with facial hair and products to keep you looking great. Columbus has needed a place like this for a long time.

Always my go-to barber whenever things are starting to get out of control. If you want the best cut in town, this is the place. Never had a bad experience with any of the barbers here. Straight shave on the neck is also a plus. They also have a small selection of DE and Shavette razors and shaving supplies. Hopefully theyll stock more in the future!

I was looking for a barber in Columbus GA because I wanted something different done with my hair and this is by far the best barbershop around the atmosphere is amazing the people are so nice o recommend getting an appointment instead of just walking as they do take pride in being organized it’s a little pricey but definitely worth it if you want the best haircut this is the place too go and I will surely return for future cuts.

Came in for the 1st time today and had Crystal cut my hair. Honestly Im extremely impressed. She did an outstanding job on my hair and my beard. I luv to vibe of the shop. Ill def be letting her be my barber from now on.

Wesley can absolutely not cut hair, his fading is awful and he does not know how to use thinning shears. Do not schedule an appointment with him. The women there seemed fine.

SEXIST. Initially we were given an appointment time. Then the insults rolled in. Not only was my obviously female girlfriend asked if she was a woman, but then the old lady denied us in the most distasteful way by having the audacity to giggle at us. POST THAT YOU DO NOT SERVICE WOMEN INSTEAD OF BEING UNNECESSARILY RUDE.

I got my first haircut by Wesley Stringer today, he is a really great guy and he definitely knows what hes doing. This will be the only place I get my haircut from now on.

My hair is less then an inch long and I just wanted a normal trim on the back and sides ( mens style) and they refused to do it because I was a woman. My hair was shorter then the guy that was getting his hair cut. I completely dont understand.

But I have had appointments with three different barbers, and I can assure you, everyone in the place knows how to sling them scissors.Grab some sweet product while youre in there. Sauvecito smells great, looks great, feels great. You havent tried pomade until youve slicked some Sauvecito through your do.By the way, who decorated this place... and can they come decorate my house? Mantinques, anybody? This place is the bees knees, cats pajamas, and eels ankles.Dont be a slouch. Go get a real haircut! You wont regret it!
